I finally found the place for me in Avenue Nails. The nail technicians are so nice and take great care of you. Mary is the person I go to. She’s another Philly girl like me and she knows how to shape and style my nails just how I like them. She is the best and so nice to talk to. She is highly recommended.

Great experience, decided to come on a random day just because it’s so hard to find good nail techs in Orlando . Mary did a great job so sweet and a great artist if you like complex sets. My new favorite place for sure .

My nail artist was Mary—she was great! I was a walk-in, I showed her the nail style I wanted and she did just that. My nails look amazing and she was very kind. I’m also a UCF student and you get a 10% discount if you show your ID. I will be coming back!

Been here a few times since it’s down the street from where I live and have been highly satisfied every time. If I want a nail design I show it to them and they do it even better than the picture! Prices are great compared to the time and effort they put into the pedicure and manicure.

I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and never had any issues. Yesterday I paid $80 for a full set and a polish change on toes. The lady I had did a good job but There were minor things that were wrong that I didn’t initially notice before leaving. I called back today (less than 24hrs) to see about getting them corrected (polish change) and was told that I needed to pay for a whole new set because they can’t just remove polish, they would have to start all over…just for a polish change. I don’t understand. Should be more accommodating to customer satisfaction

This was my first time going for a pedicure at this salon. It was $35 because I upgraded the pedicure and it was worth it. Tammy was very nice and my pedicure lasted about 45 minutes. My only con is that the I didn’t really like the way the polish was applied. **Update: I’ve been going for over a year and I get a gel polish pedicure every month which has been great.

I Received A Deluxe Pedicure, Dip Powder On My Natural Nails, And Eyebrow Waxed, $90.00. I Tipped Each Individual Worker That Serviced Me, Which Was 3 Different People. The Guy Who Did My Nails Was Quick, Fast, And Kind But Not That Best Dip I’ve Experienced. Can Be Better. The Lady Did Great On My Brows. She Was Gentle And Easy With Them. The Guy That Did My Pedicure Was Amazing. The Way He Massaged My Legs And Feet Had Me Falling Asleep. HOWEVER, I Asked For Gel On My Toes. He Gave Me Regular Polish. To Be Honest, They’re Not The Best At Polishing. They Don’t Polish The Full Nail, It’s Like They Miss The Corners Of Your Hails And They Don’t Coat As Much Either. They Need A Little More Practice. But Customer Services Was Good.

I’ve been going to this nail salon since I moved to Oviedo. Their services and prices are straightforward and easy to understand and the quality of their work is always excellent. It’s not a luxurious looking place but it’s clean and comfortable.

I got my acrylic nails removed by a man here and I have to say he was very gentle and stopped immediately when I felt any pain. Took his time and made sure I felt comfortable. Positive attitude and funny as well.

I came in for a simple soak off of tip and dip nails. What i received was a rip off. Literally. She started by filing down my grown out dip nails and proceeded to dig under them with a long plastic tip nail. Some nails came off easier than others as the ones that were pretty solid on hurt as she pried them off. One of my dip nails was glued on to my natural nail pretty tight that it ripped the corner of my natural nail and left me with an open cut and bleeding. She did not have any bandaids to provide. Extremely disappointed that this is the process for nail removal as nails should not be forced off.

I am new to the Oviedo area, so decided to wander and find a new favorite nail place. I went here and recieved a gel mani and regular pedi. The lady scuffed at me when I decided to go with the basic pedicure and not the more expensive one. I am not going to lie, she is pretty talented and good at her work. But she didnt have the best attitude and wasnt friendly at all, and she rolled her eyes once she saw my broken nail. At the end, I showed her my student ID to recieve a 10% discount, and she laughed at me saying YOU are a student? and went to ask her boss if she should give me the discount. I dont like leaving bad reviews, but when someone lets you leave their establishment feeling this way, I think there needs to be change. Even though I liked my nails, I would not go back just because of this employees attitude.

Walked in after work today for a pedicure. I was greeted right away, and my technician Jenny was beyond friendly. She conversed with me and made my experience enjoyable. Only 30 dollars for the spa pedicure that includes foot and leg scrub and lotion massage. The color turned out great. When I went to put my feet under the dryer I slightly messed up the polish on one of my toes, Jenny noticed and fixed it right away. She also provided me with sandals and bagged up my sneakers and socks, as I forgot to bring my flip flops with me. Really great experience. Im sure their other techs are friendly, but I will definitely be coming here and seeing Jenny from now on.

I had my nails done adequately a few times at this place. Unfortunately today will be my last. Spent $35 on a pedicure and I did not even get everything the package included. Sloppy application of the gel polish so much so that she got it on my skin and did not bother to remove it. The sides were not done properly and barely applied polish to them. I get home and remove my shoes and all the polish on my pinkie toe slid right off. I went back in to see if they could fix it and redeem the situation. She did. Again, sloppy work. I pay extra for gel because when applied CORRECTLY it lasts me at least a month. Polish came off two more toes. BEWARE: I’m assuming from recent Covid19 they up charging the prices. $10 to now $15 for gel and they even charged me $1 for ‘supplies’ whatever that means. After refusing to give me my money back I now have to get my bank involved; dishonor Avenue nails, dishonor.

During this challenging pandemic time, Avenue nails has set up their business in a very safe and professional manner. I felt very safe in their establishment.

I love this place! Been having my nails done here since 2000. Nancy gives the best pedicures and Tom keeps my nails looking beautiful! Tom and Kim are wonderful! They keep up with the times, always making investments in the salon updating and upgrading. Definitely recommend this salon!

I went in last week to get my nails filled in and they did a horrible job. I went in again on Friday to get my pinky one fixed and she did more of a horrible job. They are ok with anything else except french

I went to Avenue nails two days ago and got cateyes on my refills and they charged me $10 more for that and the nail polish chipped off and it’s only been two days. The lady that I had was pretty rough on my cuticles. Every finger stung a bit and there was some dry blood on two of them. They tell you refills are $27 but that doesn’t include the nail polish, they charge $5 more for the nail polish and $10 for cateyes. I personally did not find paying another $10 for cateyes cause the polish peeled off as I was opening a bag of chips. Poor quality definitely. Good luck y’all

I went in today half an hour before close, and I was unfortunately that customer because I asked for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, both of which take quite a long time. I figured they would tell me that they could not do so much in such a short amount of time, but instead I had a manicurist and pedicurist at the same time. I really appreciated the fact that they hustled like that. (Although tipping double did hurt a bit x.x)

Got a gel manicure and my eyebrows done by Susan-this was my first time coming and now I plan to be a regular! She was great and the pricing is really worth it! It all only cost me $32 plus tip, which is way better than any place I’ve gone to. Definitely would recommend!

I literally just left this shop and I am very saddened by the way my nails turned out. First of all, I asked for black nails and received dark blue. Second, I asked for a square shape and I don’t know what shape my nails are but it’s not square. I’m literally about to go home and shape my own nails. And to top it off, I was charged TEN EXTRA DOLLARS for the length of my nails. I have ALWAYS had this length nails and I have NEVER paid TEN DOLLARS EXTRA for my nails. I am very disappointed and this experience has left me reconsidering whether or not I ever want to come back to this shop.

Ive been looking for a good nail place forever. Today I went to avenue nails and Susan helped me. She was awesome. She actually took her time with the manicure and was super sweet considering how long it takes me to pick a color, even helped me pick when I asked her (not rush me to pick one like other places.) She took her time doing the gel, did 3 layers and was very meticulous, going back to refile and repolish. Highly recommend!

Amazing service for an awesome price. My dip polish nails last over 5 weeks each time. Usually get them redone just because theyve grown out too far. Everyone is super friendly and I really appreciate that they dont charge to take off my old polish.Been going to them for almost 2 years now and theyre still the best place in Orlando. Never a bad experience with any of the technicians that do my nails, but Joann is my favorite. She does a great job and I love that she converses with her clients while she works.

I love everything about this place! They are so friendly and they bring the nail colors to you so you can try a painted nail over top of your own now to see how it goes with your skin pigment. Awesome place

Terrible. I took my daughters for dip polish. Their nails were filed crookedly and the paint hardened into lopsided ridges. But worse than that the filing was so aggressive that both of them had bloody shredded cuticles that took a week to heal. Painful, ugly and unsafe! To add insult to injury when we complained about the blood and pain they just shrugged and demanded payment. We won’t go back again, not even to have them removed.

I tried three different places in the immediate UCF area and was never completely satisfied with the results. When I tried Avenue Nails, I was completely happy with the manicure, and I have been going back for nearly 8 months. I always see Jenny when I go and she always meticulously shapes and trims the nails exactly how I want them before she goes in with the color. The staff as a whole is friendly and inviting, and even go as far as to offer their customers water and soda for the time that they are being serviced. Ive gotten my roommate and another friend hooked on this place, and it is the only nail salon we go to now. Could not recommend enough.

I went to this salon 02/22/19 in hopes of it not being a stereotypical salon. I had an appointment and there was a minor confusion. My technician was very pushy in trying to sell me some products that I did not really care for.I only wanted to get a basic full set and a deluxe pedicure. She kept on going on and trying to push me and try to sell me on things that I did not go for. The one thing that really irritated me was during the pedicure, she puts Paraffin wax on my feet. It burned my feet. There should be some regulation on the temperature of the wax. Someone could potentially get hurt or their skin can be damaged by hot wax. It was uncomfortable.I noticed after my pedicure there were some irritation. I still feel the irritation after the fact. I also did not like the fact that even though I tipped her, she had a weird attitude. I have minor issues with my wrist. She was just kind of just being really rude by talking bad in front of me in her native language to her other co-workers and boss about my wrist. I am not stupid and I noticed that. I will never go back to this place ever again.Stacy

The people were very nice and it was an easy place to walk in for service, but the service itself was incredibly mediocre. My manicure was only okay and my gel nails started lifting in less than a week! I 100% couldve done a better job myself, definitely wont be going back.

The first salon... I have had a truly good gel polish set ! I dont even remember the name of the lady who helped me... Was just passing through and needed a polish ! She did an awesome job ! As a mom of 4 in and out of water all day. I have yet to have a chip... day 7 ! Total impressed... Wish I lived closer, I would go back ! Thank you !

Ive been going to this nail salon for over a year and a half now. The only person I see is Jimmy so this rating is purely based on his work. I had extremely short nails and started out getting regular gel manicures until my nails grew longer and have been doing acrylic overlays and fills with gel polish ever since. He doesnt over file your nail bed with the drill like some other salons do (but wherever you go you should say something after noticing a light burn from even one nail). My nails are stronger now which I noticed after I removed the acrylic completely for a trial period. I try going to other salons but no one can get my nail in the shape I like or using a light handed but firm technique. Others in the salon are great as well but once again hes the only person I choose to see once or twice a month.

Very nice and good customer service but my nails turned out horrible. I got an acrylic fill and the lady cut them down so much shorter than what I asked for. She filed them super jagged and they aren’t even straight. She drilled my nails and it was burning because she didn’t stop. She even made me bleed and didn’t say anything. The nail polish looks like big globs. Would not recommend if you want good looking acrylics

I tried to like this place, but this was the WORST manicure I ever had. I noticed after my nails fully dried, there were bubbles all in the polish. I had a big event and no time to get my nails fixed. It was embarrassing. After the event I tried taking my polish off. I got a regular manicure, NOT gel like the lady kept insisting on. Well, my polish would not come off. I had to go to a different nail salon and pay them to remove my GEL polish because this lady put the wrong thing on my nails. Turns out that the polish bubbles because the gel air dried. extremely frustrated and will not be returning. Maybe if she didnt rush so much, my nails wouldnt have messed up. I want my $5 tip back...

Absolutely do not go here, I got dip powder with tip and two days later three nails had fallen off. Do not go here
