This place did a horrible job! Nigel was the stylist. Not only did my husband have razor burn on his neck but there were patches of hair that was not cut and they did not disclose ahead of time that they would not trim the rest of the beard because of wearing a mask which is fine but we wouldnt have paid to just have the edges trimmed. Also the haircut is choppy and only one clipper size was used so theres no transition. I do a better job cutting his hair myself and Im not a trained hair stylist! I bet Supercuts would have done a better job and be half the price.

Took my 4yr old to get a hair cut here for the first time, we usually go to a kids place but could not get an appointment so we tried this and it was great. Cost the same as the kids place and to be honest the cut was much better. Our hairdresser was super nice, cant remember his name though. We will be going here again!

This barbershop is not worth your time. I tried to give this place a fair chance. Average haircuts, and not respectful of a customer’s time. I showed up on-time for an appointment, only to be standing around waiting and wondering; I finally left after 30 minutes. The front desk did not care in the slightest. I wanted to like the place as it is so close to me.I don’t understand the high reviews at all, it’s like hair cuttery, with a cool facade. I miss the old-personal-neighborhood barber.

Ive only been there twice. Once when they first opened and they were giving out half-price haircuts. And then recently when they were once again giving half-price haircuts. I would go more if they were a bit cheaper but, you cant have everything. It isnt that they are too expensive. Im just impecunious. The young lady who cut my hair did pretty much what I told her to do. For once, it worked out very well. Well, I liked it. I have had some scary experiences when the barber did what I asked.

I got my hair cut by Jake, & he was awesome! Very friendly & polite! My advice would be to make an appointment as oppose to walking in, as I had to wait about 35 mins to be seen (granted every stylist was busy & everyone left happy!) I had a coupon for half off, & since I have a little over shoulder length hair it would have been $28, which is a little pricey compared to other chains, but I liked Jake’s attitude & most importantly, I liked the cut! Thanks Jake!!

Just got my first post shutdown cut and Amber did a great job, I will definitely be back. I gave her some ideas about leaving it a little longer since I had no choice but to grow it out. She gave me great advice and made sure we were headed in the right direction the whole time.

I tried to get a buzz cut today. I had recently grown my hair out a little, but decided I wanted to go back to a buzz cut. I went in for my appointment and they said they couldnt cut my hair because the person I was scheduled with only works with short hair, not medium length hair, and nobody else was available. Its just a simple buzz cut, but apparently not all their stylists can handle that unless you already have a buzz cut going in.

All I have to say is that Petranka is the best stylist ever. Amazing customer service and not only you get a great haircut your day gets better after talking to her. You can tell when somebody loves their work and interacting with people.

Ronny did my hair cut, and I love it, she was such a sweetheart and did an amazing job. She is now my go to hair stylist, Im so happy to have found someone to do my hair on the 1st shot after moving back from Ohio. Ladies, and men I 100 % recommend going to her. Jake is awesome. He is the only person who my autistic five year old son will let touch his head, much less cut his hair. He treats my son like any other kid and talks about all the cool stuff on the wall and entertains my sons quirks.Love Floyd’s, but will go wherever Jake is working to let him take care of my little guy.

I felt safe here, post reopening procedures stellar. Hunter the front desk person was diligently checking incoming customer temperatures, cleaning broom handles, keyboards during down time. I witnessed her do so much work in my 20 minutes there while getting my hair cut by Cody. Very clean and controlled environment during May 13 visit. Just be sure to book on their website at this time they are limiting walk ins or not taking them at all.

I asked for a low skin fade, and came out with uneven on the sides. not worth 26 dollars!!! i had my doubts about floyds, save your money everyone go to a spanish or black barber that knows what they are doing.

I spent twenty years in the Marine Corps and had my haircut every week. Floyds is easily my favorite place to go. I received a great haircut, it was very clean inside, and awesome staff. I appreciated the way Staci cut my hair and made it an amazing experience all around.

Great place to get a haircut and relax. Everyone is really nice, but none stand out more than one stylist named Amber. She is very professional and detailed with her work and probably one of the sweetest people there. All around its a fun and different outlook from your typical barbershop or salon and its worth every penny.

I am a finicky person when it comes to hair styling, and apparently it is hard to find a good hairstylist in Orlando these days. I took my best friends recommendation, and went to Floyds at Oviedo. The staff was quite friendly and the stylist who cut my hair was quite professional paying great attention to my explanations as to how I wanted my hair cut, and did a pretty good job at the end. The overall experience deserves a 4.5-star (half off because of the high price).

I love going to Floyds. I highly suggest getting on the walk in last or calling ahead for a reservation. Mon - Wed are the slowest and best times to go.

I highly recommend you try this location the next time youre in need of a good haircut. When first walking in you get the good vibes and the love of pop culture is a real treat. It might seem a little pricey but the effort they put in the superb haircut is well worth it. They will wash your hair afterwards and the products used smells great and feels even better. The staff are professionals and take thier job very seriously and the attention to detail is phenomenal. The person cutting your hair will message your shoulders with a vibration machine connected to thier hand. Im not usually up for messages from barber shops but I really enjoyed this one. This place has a new perspective on an old school concept and I enjoyed my experience. Thank you!!

Great place for a haircut. I also got my beard cleaned up. Barber was friendly and chatted me up just the right amount. The hot lather neck shave and massage was a nice touch. Go for the shampoo to get that hot towel.

When I went in for a haircut was told it be about 5-10 minutes sat there for 25 with no updates had to end up leaving so that I wouldnt be late for work and I as I walked out the back I noticed that there is three women in the back just chatting and texting on their phone not doing anything as there are only two man cutting hair with a bunch of clients in the lobby. Their haircuts are already more expensive than some of their competitors and I will surely not be returning. Ill simply take my business elsewhere.

When it comes to barbershops, I think there are two things that can make or break your experience, the atmosphere and the stylist.This was my first visit to a Floyds. Ive seen pictures of Floyds online before I went so I knew what to expect. It feels like a combination of a record shop and tattoo parlor. The walls are plastered with posters of music icons and art, and the stylists use toolboxes adorned with personal stickers and decorations for their tools. The atmosphere was relaxing, the music was comfortably loud, and the staff very friendly.My son and I were assigned to Amber. Amber took her time to ask many questions to make sure our cuts were as we wanted them.As part of my first visit, I received a complimentary shampoo and conditioning. This starts off with your choice of a hot or cold towel on your face. This was one of the most relaxing shampoos that Ive ever had. A few more minutes and I would have probably fallen asleep.Amber was very thorough and performed a scissor cut with my hair. It didnt feel like she was rushing to get to the next customer and wanted to take the time to ensure that I walked away with a quality haircut. She asked me how short I wanted it, and I wasnt 100% sure, so she started by taking a little off, and then asked if I wanted it any shorter. I did want it a bit shorter and she obliged and took the time to make it a bit shorter. The haircut also includes a razor shaving around the back of the neckline, along with a back massage.Previously, I was going to Fantastic Sams, which definitely feels less inviting and very corporate, and I wasnt always happy with the quality of my haircuts. While the price is a bit more at Floyds, I think its well worth the extra few bucks.I hope my visits in the future will be as great as they were this time.

The worst thing in Orlando and Oviedo is their barbers, I tried most of them:- They are not clean.- They clean the face of the customer by towels alternative of napkins, how many faces were cleaned by each towel? how many diseases transferred by these towels?- They use the same razor for every customer alternative of using new one for each one, how many diseases transferred by these razors?- They does not wash their hands after finishing shaving a customer.How this happened?why didn’t they listen to what the physicians say about how the diseases transferred by barbers?!

Save your time and your money. Worst Floyds location Ive been to. I took my son in for a haircut today, we normally go to the Winter Park location or Mills. The girl at the desk was very rude and my son got the worst haircut hes ever gotten from a Floyds location. Not only did the guy nick his ear and his neck with the clippers resulting in cuts, I knew there was nothing the guy could do to fix mess of a haircut he was giving so I now have to pay someone else to fix it!

Im super insecure about my hair because Ive been dealing with alopecia since 12yrs old and late last year i have lost majority of my hair from meditations recovering from shingles. So my hair has been regrowing and recovering since January, meaning half my hair was dead and the rest of my hair consist of baby hairs gone wild. I was referred to LuLu and she was absolutely amazing. She made me feel super comfortable and knew exactly how to handle my hair. She always made sure I was okay and secure through the whole appointment. My hair felt super healthy and looked beautiful! Thank you LuLu♡Update:I am highly upset that the front receptionist named Khari C. was speaking ill mannered about me after my appointment, which i had recently been informed about.The way that the two front receptionist acted were that of petty unprofessional immature little girls. I had one rolling her eyes at me for no reason, everytime my salon chair was faced to the front, that i just stared at the ceiling to avoid awkward confrontation, honestly not worth anything in my eyes. Then particularly Khari was negatively speaking about my appearance, in the break room, which is located near the back entrance where the break room door is open, to which customers can hear, especially if youre receiving services in the last two chairs or using the bathroom. The store manager, Staci C., who also happens to be Kharis mother decided to cover for her daughters inappropriate behavior and issue no formal apology or acknowledgment of the lack of manners.I am highly disgusted and disappointed with the way the situation was handled.

Prices are high and the quality isnt as good as knights, but the atmosphere is better.
