I am from out of town and was shopping at the mall. I just recently got acrylics from another salon and noticed while shopping that one spot on my nail had “collapsed” due to the gel not being fully dry. I walked in to Nailery Too and showed them the nail. They sat me down right away, found the closest color to what I had (I could not remember which color) and fixed me up! They were fast, professional, super nice, and didn’t even charge me for the repair work. Thank you for the great service!

I have gone here a handful of times to get eyelash extensions, and each time the experience was mediocre up until this last time. Even with appointments, I’d be waiting forever. The eyelash technician was consistently late because I’d be the first appointment of the day and she wouldn’t be there within the first 20-30 minutes of my appointment. I’m patient, so I never got upset about it, but it did rub me the wrong way when one of the other technicians had to come out and apologize to me sitting there because “oh, she is always late.” After that was said to me, I started having my appointments made in the afternoon. A month ago, she was running about 40 minutes behind in the afternoon because of another client. Once the client had left, she was complaining nonstop about the client that held her up. I wasn’t happy about her behavior and the fact that she gave me the largest lashes available when I had asked for small. I have had each lash size with her before, but I wasn’t thrilled that it wasn’t what I had asked for. Yesterday, I went in to get the massive lashes off because I wanted the small ones that I had initially asked for. She gave me attitude about having to change them out to smaller ones, but she did it. She got the tweezers stuck to them as she was applying them and had to ask another associate to help remove the tweezers from my face. Again, I wasn’t upset and told her I know that stuff happens and I wasn’t mad. When I got finished, I wondered if the lashes looked weird on my left eye due to swelling from her yanking on my lashes or if they truly looked uneven. After a few hours, the technician was contacted through a phone call that I was not happy with the turnout of the lashes. One side was uneven and the other side was already starting to fall out and droop. She told me to come back today and that she would make it right. I had a hair appointment at a separate salon and the girls there were horrified at the condition of my lashes. They were in disbelief that this eyelash technician would let me leave looking the way I did. After my hair, I came in immediately to have the eyelash technician remove all of the lashes. She tried telling me there was nothing wrong with them and admitted no fault. She said it was my fault for choosing the size of lashes I did…which I know isn’t true because I have had this size before. After removing them, I asked her as politely as I could for a refund on the set of lashes from yesterday and she adamantly told me no. She angrily told me that I had to pay her that fee because of the time she took to remove my eyelashes, which I calmly told her that she should make it right since she didn’t apply them correctly to begin with. She was notified within hours of the service that I was not happy with the outcome, and I came back in 24 hours. After awhile of her raising her voice and defensively telling me that she didn’t owe me a refund, she finally said, “fine. I’ll give you a refund but I refuse to do your lashes anymore.” I nodded and agreed immediately. I expected her to follow me to the register to issue me my refund, but she decided to sit down with a different client. I turned around to look for her and she yelled across the salon for me to leave. I wonder how she plans to give me back my full refund without my information? I’m entirely horrified at the way I was treated over the entire situation. I’m okay with people if they’re able to admit when they weren’t doing their best job because I understand that we all can’t be perfect all of the time, but I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service, lack of accountability, and the way I was treated.The photo below was taken before the other eye had its lashes drooping and falling out.

So my friend went in to get her nails done, and needless to say Im going to say some things. The nails she got barely resemble what she even wanted. Like 5 out of the 10 nails look like the photo.Yeah, sure the effect is what she was going for as well as the nail length/style but it just looks messy and the place, instead of the look from the actual photo she brought in with her.From what she told me the staff was very nice and the tech was friendly, which is great and all but ultimately pointless if they cant fully deliver.For what she paid, which is $55, this is NOT okay.

I have been coming to The Nailery Too for over a year, along with my mother and three daughters. All of the staff is nice, friendly and helpful... especially when my oldest daughter has a hard time deciding on what nail color to choose! ;) I highly recommend The Nailery Too!

I got some dip on my fingernails done yesterday. There was a misunderstanding between my nail technician and I at first, which lead to my nails not looking like what I had wanted. But we sorted it out through effective communication. He thanked me for being considerate and not lashing out at him (apparently people still do this?!). I thanked him for going above and beyond to rectify what had gone wrong as he spent an extra 25 minutes on my nails, gladly and with care. His name is Christophe and hes a keeper. Overall a good experience and I am happy with my nails.

I came about 2 weeks ago and the technician that did my nails tore off a hangnail which hurt pretty bad and I bled, and also when she was buffing my nails or what have you it got really hot and I was burned as well and she was very aggressive. And then covered it with acrylics. My finger got badly infected and I had to go to the ER because of it and get my finger cut open and it was in the same spot that she tore it off. Now I’m in a lot of pain and missing work I would not recommend coming here and I wish I could have my money back too because now I have an expensive ER bill.

I was never the person to visit the same nail salon or the same tech before, but since the first tome I was at Nailery, I can’t get myself to go anywhere else. I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and I will never go elsewhere. Everyone at Nailery is welcoming and helpful and they remember you on your second visit. Each nail tech is friendly and efficient. I visit Anna each time but when I bring friends, Calvin usually helps them. I have also been helped by Bruce and another one of their incredible nail techs (I don’t remember her name). They do a wonderful job with every step of each process; the shape of the nail, the application of any style and design with paint, gel or dip, etc.

I’m never disappointed. Every time I come for my service I’m greeted by my name, which makes me feel like I matter and I’m not just a number. Very kind. Very professional. Very clean. I love Nhu and her crew. Anh does a wonderful pedi...I literally felt like I was in heaven!

I was not pleased. I had a dip manicure and the polish was laid on real thick so my nail literally looks curbed. The clear overlay was sloppily applied and it looks like no effort was put in. Not coming back...

Went in today to get acrylics for the first time per recommendation of a coworker and left extremely disappointed for a few reasons. First the color that I went with was nothing like the swatch and when I asked to change the color I was given attitude and told that I would be charged $20 or she could just paint over the existing color. Second I asked for an almond shaped acrylic and they in no way resemble what I wanted as they are much to square . In relation to the shape I was charged for a stiletto acrylic which is not what I asked for or what I got. Not once in the 1.5 hours I was in the chair asked if I was ok with how it look. When I came back not even 5 mins after leaving I was given attitude because I didn’t like it. I’m very disappointed because I overpayed for nails that I am not even close to happy with and don’t want to go back and to be given attitude about the fact I don’t like it. To be honest I just want the nails removed and a refund but unfortunately they don’t do that. If I could go back in time I would have skipped getting my nails done in the first place.

Very nice experience, it has been awhile since I have been here the chair didnt work too well but the pedi was fantastic although it was different as well, they didnt do the wax on my legs like before and hot towel wrap but maybe covid issues or something different but it was still a good job, I was well overdue but it was late and I didnt get my full manicure only clipped and filed but the extra attention on the pedi made up for it.

They are really gentle and nice.I love this and i totally recommend

This is maybe my 4th or 5th time coming here and omg the service is amazing every single time. I’ve had 3 different people do my nails so far and literally all of them were so nice! The lady that did my nails today was so kind and really paid attention to what I was asking for and even suggested a few things to me. My nails for my birthday tomorrow came out sooo pretty! I always call before I go and they’re always available to do my nails right away which I so appreciate. I’m so glad I live right across the street from the mall because this is my new go to nail salon for sure.

My nails look awful. I’m one of those people that don’t like to say anything cause it’ll make it awkward but i paid $47 for dip nails and I get my nails pretty long too. The lady put the fake nail at the TIP of my fingernail and I was like okay maybe she does it different... until she got done and my nails have the worst curve to them, i’m not kidding they look like a birds claw. and the color IS SO CHUNKY. and the nail lengths are SO uneven. I scheduled an appointment with my local nail salon so I could get this fixed ASAP.

Tammy does my gel manicures and she has always done amazing work. She is very kind and takes her time to ensure the quality of work is done to the customers standards. I highly recommend her!

A few years back I visited the lower level location, Nailery Too, and was less than thrilled with my experience - left a not very good review. However, I started coming to Nailery on the upper level back at the beginning of June with a friend who goes there regularly. Lee did my nails and she is FANTASTIC. They looked great, cuticles were feeling good, and she was so nice! I have had a few other techs there since, and they have all been great! All very attentive to what I want and making sure they get as close as possible to my inspiration. Ive never had any pain or bleeding after having them do my nails, which was a huge problem I had with the other location. Altogether I will always recommend the upper level Nailery to friends! They are always very kind and I never have to wait more than maybe 30 minutes before I am seated, even on busy weekends! Love this place!

Used to go here all the time and get nails toes & eyebrows done. My nail tech left and so did my eyebrow girl and it became under new management, well I was in a rush 2 weeks ago and came her to get everything done. Let’s just say horrible mistake, between the nail techs and management I would suggest going somewhere else like the Nailery in Olathe way better nail technicians & customer service. Happy to know after looking at reviews a lot of people feel the same way.

I really needed some pampering and Tammy took great care of me! She was very nice and sweet. My nails came out perfect. Went in and got a full set done by Linda. She was super kind, and did an amazing job on my nails; from the color and nail shape. My acrylics look like my own nails. Ive never had a set done this well. I hope she stays around for a while because she will be the only professional I go to for my nails from this point forward.

Terrible customer service. I dont get offended because I just stop spending my money at places I dont like. Im from New York and it seems it so easy to find a good nail salon there verses here! I have tried over 4 nail salons and Im just not satisfied. CUSTOMER SERVICE is so big for me and this place fails on so many levels. I called and set up an appointment and they had me in the books. When I show up they all are staring at each other like I didnt already set up and appointment. Ended up having to wait and for someone else to do my nails. Also the people in there pick and choose what customer they want to speak to when they come in and you just get a weird vibe. Dont waste you time or money getting your nails done. Only person that is fairly descent is Queen the waxing girl. I think she keeps people coming back. I know they read the reviews. They should start actually taking some into consideration

I was so excited to get my nails done, but was sorely let down. I got a gel manicure that looked amazing at first, but within a week the gel was peeling clean off my fingernail in whole chunks. Usually, gel stays on for weeks at a time on my nails and is hard to remove. I also felt like they were just trying to get people through and do as many nails as they could. The person who did my nails barely acknowledged me and did my nails so fast that the shaping was off and it felt so rushed. I probably won’t go back to The Nailery Too at Oak Park Mall.

I got my nails done yesterday. They already look a week old. My nail bed on multiple fingers are bloody. I was pushed the entire time to get gel even after telling the lady i did not want gel. They used to be great but have gone down hill over the past year and i now need to find a new place to go to. Unless you have a specific artist here i suggest you go else where. Its not worth the gamble of getting a bad artist. My lady also washed her tools with what smelt and looked like mouthwash.

What I wouldnt give to find a consistent pedicure in this town. The price is fine, theyll put your name down and call you if theres a wait so you dont have to stand around, the technicians are fine. Always feels rushed and the steps are different every time, but they are sweet to kids and at the end of the day its a mall pedicure, so my expectations are a little different than a typical salon.

Been coming here since i was a little girl. Probably a total of 50 or 60 times. Never had a bad experience. Not once. Its easy to read all these bad reviews and discount this place, but think of the thousands and thousands of people that left satisfied over a period of about 10 to 15 years that never thought (or had the ability) to post a review. Ive had the opportunity to talk to different techs over the years, and they are all good people. They are all kind, they all care. The people with horrible experiences here, have extremely high (and sometimes xenophobic) expectations. This is a business, not your best friend. Dont expect them to give you a therapy session, that really isnt fair to them.They are polite and kind, and theyre all hell-of-a good bunch of artists.-Emily

Horrible service. I had 2 GEL nails chip. They didn’t offer any discount off of my next appointment. Manager was helpless and said “just come in to get them fix” which I didn’t have time to do, which is obviously why I had an appointment set. I have never had gel nails chip and such poor customer service about an issue! They sounded like they could care less. I have been going here for 4 years, will never go back again. Sad!

This location has horrible customer service! I’ve been a customer here for 5 years. The quality of work and customer service has gone down now that Tina is no longer the manager. I got a gel manicure last night and my polish peeled off 4 of my nails within 12 hours. The technician Nancy refused to change out the color ( that’s obviously defective) cause she “didn’t feel like it). Don’t waste your money or time at this location!!!

Very sad place I paid 27 for my pedicure and I watched both ladies do the work on feet me and my daughter went. The lady who did my daughter used oil and lotion and sprayed my daughter feet with alcohol. The lady did mine did a really quick job one of my goals still ruff and my feet started hurting the way she had them sitting I will never spend my money here again and I advise yall not to. Ive been to nail shops in lower grades areas and my feet came out feeling soft and smooth. Whatever you do dont spend your money here I told them and they didnt care.

I personally asked for a certain shape got home realize it wasnt the same shape come back the same day and nobody was willing to change my color or fix my shape correctly after I just paid them it havent been a full 24hr yet and the service was so awful to me. I wasted money and nobody offer a discount or anything. I was so furious on the inside but kept a smile just so I didnt seem rude and I was so nice about it. And they do not do refund which sucks I paid for a service just for my nails to look horrible.

Staff here are professional, friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcome. Prices are reasonable (far better than lots of other places) and the service is excellent! Manis, pedis, regular polish, gel polish, acrylics, eyebrows, you name it, they have it. Its the go to place for outstanding pampering!

I had a gel manicure done on Wednesday 04/25/2018. Today is Monday 04/30/2018. I was washing my hands this afternoon and the gel started peeling away from nails. When I went in to have them correct my nails, they offered to redo the manicure. They did the soak off and the lady (I think the owner?) stated that gel polish change would only cost me $20. I told her that it needs to be complimentary. She had me removed from the salon for arguing with her. Terrible customer service. I’ve never had a nail salon not correct their mistakes. Gel should last at least 2 weeks. I will never return.

First time at the salon and had a great experience. Tiffany did a great job on my gel manicure. She was personable and easy to chat with. Will defiantly go back again.

The pedicure was fine but Highly over priced! I got a very basic pedicure (no polish, no massage, nothing fancy) and it was $27.00 not including tip! I just wanted my toe nails trimmed and cleaned up. Its winter so I wasnt interested in any color polish because my toes are hardly being seen for fashion. The nail tech was some what civil but when she tried to upsale me she didnt even look at me while she spoke. The truly only upside is they are open till 9pm during the week because they are in the mall. I probably wont be back unless Im completely desperate for a pedicure after 7pm.

My friend and I made an appointment but didnt get seated until about 30 minutes after our appointment. The girl who did my nails was very nice though and did a really good job so it made up for it! I read a lot of the reviews and was iffy about coming in. I saw many customers come in and be completely rude to the employees for no reason. Dont always go off of the bad reviews!

Went there for a pedicure and a manicure. Had a horrible experience with my pedicure. I had a little tiny scratch on my foot that now has manifested into a horrible sore on my foot which causes daily pain when I walk. The man who did my pedicure was super rude and pushy and he wanted paid before he did my nails and then he asked for a tip. I asked him how good he was going to be if he wanted that tip. He didnt say anything after that. Will not be going back.

Paid to have a full set of gel acrylics. The woman who did my nails had no attention to detail. My nails are uneven, there are alot bubbles, and she didnt go far enough back so it looks like i already need a fill. She also cut my cuticle with the dremel tool and tore my cuticles up. My nails look horrible and it hasnt even been 4 days. Very unsatisfied. I wont be going back.

Ive been going to this place for many years. Most of the technicians are great. However, the only thing I dont like about this place is that sometimes when you have an appointment, they send you to Nailery too, which is the store in the second floor. I do not like to go to Nailery too because technicians keep speaking in foreign language and makes me feel left out. When I make appointment with Nailry, I would like my appointment be there not in Nairly too.

Anna, is great with my mother. She suffers from Dementia, but Anna treats her so kind.

I dont get manipedis or waxes regularly, but I always pop in here when I have free time. Ive never been disappointed. Their prices are the best in Overland Park - you wont find a cheaper wax/manipedi. Conversation is always good, Ive never experienced a long wait and Im always pleased with the end results. Ill continue to go back.

Jessie makes my experience AWESOME!! The manager Trang has the worst customer service skills Ive ever seen! Shes either arguing with her employees in front of customers or just flat out rude to customers!! Shes NEVER happy!! She crossed the line today by talking to a 5 year old instead of the adults! I refrained my last 2 visits but shes refuses to let my daughter have a good experience!! She cant sit in the chair, cant use the massage chair. This was our planned fun day and she has my daughter almost in tears!! NOT KID FRIENDLY OR PEOPLE FRIENDLY should be on the door when shes working!! She needs CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING!! I shouldnt have to come on her day off to see Jessie!! Shes supposed to be the manager and supposed to make the experience BETTER NOT WORSE!!

I was weary of coming here because of the bad google reviews but I just moved here and needed a new place. My nails are absolutely perfect. Hellen was so sweet and did such a great job! Definitely will be coming here from now on!

Great Customer Service and they do an excellent job! They take walk-ins but after work hours it gets pretty busy. If you dont want to risk waiting up to 30 minutes, call and make an appointment (which I highly recommend). I get my nails and pedicures done here. I literally drive about 25 miles to come here! They have a wide range of colors for gel nails and gel colors! And prices are very reasonable! Definitely treat yourself and go! I recommend the following techs: Trang or Nune!

The employees are very rude; their customer service sucks. I took my mom here so she could get her nails done for Mothers day and get to relax while getting her nails done professionally..Right after the lady started doing my moms nails she was discussing how much the total would be and made it anything but relaxing for my mom. As soon as my mom showed the lady how she wanted her nails done the lady was like No, that wont look good instead of accommodating my moms simple request and doing her nails as she pleased-and, most importantly, making her a happy customer. The key ingredient to having a successful business is integrity.. And good customer service. When customers walk in they need to know how much the service will cost-not after the fact.. And then that catches customers off guard because they didnt expect to be paying that much the moment they walked in the door. And customer service is VERY important when it comes to running a business successfully- if you dont make your customers happy then theyll tell their friends about their experience and then, after a period of time, your faithful customers will die down because no one will want their nails done by people who dont care about their customers. This place doesnt even deserve 1 star as a rating.

I am so disappointed with how my nails turned out. I got a full set done but they are crooked and the shaping of them are not even! Some nails are longer than others and the shapes of them are not the same. Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought getting my cuticles cut and groomed were also included in getting a full set, but I was charged an extra $5? My friend that came with me was not charged for getting her cuticles groomed. And I do want to say, the glue that was used to put on the nails felt like it burned me. It hurt to the point that I was flinching, and I’ve never felt that before, so I was a little concerned. I asked if that was normal, but the lady doing it didn’t really give me an answer.

The lady kept asking me to get gel polish and after the third time of refusing she added $5 to my bill, she said because l have calluses. She also grabbed paper towels to wipe off the lotion off my feet and told me that hot towels will be an extra $10. I have always paid $27 and got hot towel. She was spiteful and aggressive because l refused the gel polish.

Ok, first I was being asked multiple times after saying I just wanted a norma manicure, but the lady that was doing my nails and my friends next to me kept insisting on gel. We kept saying no and second when you try to tell them you need change or even try to tell them to repeat what they were saying so you didn’t get the nail wrong, they got flustered and mad. I give it a one star for the poor attitude towards there customers and having wrong prices on everything. And charging extra for simple things. My nails turned out fine, but wouldn’t recommend this nail store.

Do not come here!!!! Sanitation is not a worry. The girl that gave me a manicure made me bleed!!!! Just asked if I was ok? No sanitation anywhere that I could see. The file and buffer was obviously used on someone else.

Quality of overall experience is hit or miss. Ive been three times. First time I loved my tech not impressed with my nails. Second time my tech was a complete joykill but my nails looked amazing. Third time same joykill and ugly nails. For the price everyone working there should be amazing. Third time is the charm, Ive come to my senses and wont be back.

I walked in to sign in and right off the bat they wanted me to pay more money for gel. They sat me and one of my friends together and they kept asking us if we wanted gel over and over and they even mentioned acrylics a couple of times even after we kept saying we just wanted a normal manicure. The woman doing my nails barely spoke English ( which I don’t mind if they speak another language) and I asked her a few times to repeat what she was saying because I just didn’t understand her because she was speaking a different language, and the woman next to her doing my friends nails yelled at me and got mad because I didn’t understand. Anyway besides that the lady doing my nails asked me to pay before she did my nails so I got my money out and realized I was a dollar short So I just asked my friend for a dollar, the woman gave my friend her money back and said to me “ if you no have money then it 8 dollar” and I said “no it’s fine I’ll just pay full price” then once she was done with my nails she asked me “you sure you want me keep 4 dollar?” And I said “yes I’ll pay full price” the workers here didn’t even go off of what was on the website and they kept changing the prices. Very unprofessional. My nails look good and that’s the only reason I gave 2 stars. Overall this place rushes to do nails and they don’t have very good sanitation. Do not recommend, will not be returning.

I came here the other day with my cousin and we sat right next to each other. My nails were started first. And normally before you glue your nails on, you take off your previous nail polish. Well not this lady. She just went right to it... she go the drill and started to file them down. And I could still see my polish underneath my new nails!! She began to put on the acrylic powder stuff, and that went well but when she was going to cut them down she asked me how short. I said can you cut it to here and I will see if I want them shorter which is what I normally say. She came back with the rudest comment Well if you want them shorter than this, you need to tell me now because its too much work to cut them all again if you no like! With me being me, I came back with a well then I let me see how I want them before you do to much work. In my head I was thinking god forbid you actually do my nails how I want them for my moneys worth. Then when I really got irritated was when she got the drill again and filed them down more she went to fast it started to burn my nail, and it hurt! When I told her that she was hurting me, she didnt even look up from my nails and kept doing what she was doing.... Finally she was done and I paid her.. but did I tip her? No maam I did not, not with that crappy work/attitude!!

I only go here because of Helen. The managers are EXTREMELY rude. I can tell there is tension and they don’t want me there every time I walk in because I have a technician preference. I called today to make an appointment and the person who was taking my number actually hang up on me. I called back and could tell it was the rude manager who had picked up and yet again could tell that I was a bother to her. They are constantly arguing very loudly in Vietnamese which makes me anxious. The first day I went and requested gel powder they all pounced and made such a big deal about it arguing and such. Maybe before you all act all offended that I will only let Helen work on me ask yourselves why?! I don’t want to come in for a service, pay my money, only to have an angry person who idk what they are mad about working on me. Former owner needs to LIGHTEN UP!

Worst nail shop around. Would have gave them zero they dont even deserve a one star. I paid $44.00 for thick uneven clumpy nails. Paid more for gel polish so they would last longer, but no polish chipped of two days later. Dont even try them out you will be very disappointed as I was.

Terrible experience. Gel nails chipped after a couple days. Poor customer service, manager extremely argumentative when bought the matter to her attention. Owner will not return my calls. Do not recommend! Waste of money
