Camelot has a high-quality dance floor. Its an excellent place to go on a Friday or Saturday night to dance. This is not a place for children but a great place to bring your wife or girlfriend to dance. The age group that typically attends this venue is from the late twenties to the 70s with most people being in the 40 to 60 year range. Great music and an excellent dance floor make this a great place to spend the evening!

I had my wedding there this summer. Camelot did great. They are affordable, clean and offer a great environment. About 10% of our guests were kids, so the dance lesson room connected to the main ballroom was a great place to let them run around and have fun.My wife and I looked at hotels and other venues throughout Johnson County. Camelots package deal (food, alcohol, DJ, off-duty copy mandated by city) was by far the best we could find at an attractive facility. There were no hidden costs and we were given our deposit back quickly.With a big event like a wedding reception, I should have found some flaw with Camelot. I didnt. Bridget was great to work with.

My daughter has taken dance lessons from Wade and Bridget for the last year and a half. She is thriving under their instruction. They are both great dancers and do an excellent job of instructing. In my daughter’s case, Wade dances with her and Bridget will dance in front of her showing her the ladies part. With this method my daughter is able to learn quickly and has enjoyed performing in shows with Wade as her dance partner. These performances are wonderful self-esteem builders for a teenager. Wade and Bridget are both really nice and not only teach my daughter dancing and but are great role models too. They recently performed at a senior living center where Wade did an excellent job of putting the crowd at ease and making the performance fun for everyone. I cannot thank Wade and Bridget enough for all the things they do.

School of Music rented the place for our recitals this was good for our setups and snacks the restrooms are clean

Our daughters wedding reception was at Camelot, June 2014, and it was perfect. Bridget was wonderful to work with. She was very accommodating with regard to setting up before the reception and thoughtful by providing champagne for parents of the bride and parents of the groom who were also celebrating 25 years of marriage! The ballroom is beautiful, the DJ, James Barr, was very entertaining and engaging.

Camelot Ballroom has the biggest and most beautiful dance floor in KC and you dont have to have had dance lessons to go to their dances. I am a single person that has not had any formal dance lessons other than some group dance lessons, but I love to dance and I always look forward to meeting any single women there that love to dance also. After having been married to one woman for 30 years and suddenly finding myself single again, it has been a great way for me to meet some really great single ladies. The owners Wahid and Bridget are some of the nicest people I have ever met and they dont exhibit the uppity better than you type of attitude that a lot of ballroom dance studios and dancers have.

Wade & Bridgett provide excellent lessons and the best ballroom for dancing in Missouri or Kansas. Weve taken lessons for 2+ years. They do not use the typical chain studio formulas for progressing couples based upon their ability to extract $ in exchange for making slow progress. Not only do they customize routines across multiple skill levels, allowing you to progress quickly and have fun, they are also two of the most delightful people youd ever want to meet.
