The atmosphere is excellent. Genuine old time barbershop feel. All the barbers are extremely personable and the whole place has a positive upbeat feel to it. Harrison took his time to make sure he understood what I wanted done, and made sure I was satisfied with it before I left. It’s the kind of place you can walk into and feel confident any one of the barbers will take care of you. I lost count of the amount of customers that walked in and were greeted by name by multiple barbers. For the first time in longer than I can remember I walked out of a barbershop completely satisfied and 100% confident I’d be back. This is definitely my new “place.” Couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Top Barbers. Im 36 and this is the best haircut Ive ever received. Was visiting the Lake and decided to stop in. Was seen immediately despite being seemingly busy. Everyone had fresh hair styles, it was easy so see their work. I was able to find my usual (fade 1-3, longer on top front, pomp, and hard part). My barber new exactly what needed to be done. It took about 20 mins and when he was finished it was perfect. Perfect. I live in NC but I wish I could go there every other week.

Best haircuts Ive ever received. I have been going to this place for about 3 years. They always do a great job no matter which barber you get. Ive always gone to get the same haircut and it comes out looking fresh each time. Nice chairs, friendly barbers, hot towels, and a great cut for only $16. There is a bit of a wait, so plan around that. I try to go early in the morning on weird days to cut the wait time. But even on a busy day they will get through like 10+ people in a hour, so it isnt that bad.

In my own opinion the best Barber Shop around. I live in Constantia and will drive to Oswego for their business. All their employees are very skilled in all forms of styles and are very friendly, their skills are clearly sought due to the several apprentice they train, I have seen many at this business over the 3 years I have been going there. I always prefer George Sweetings chair when I go and Im always happy with the results, but when he is busy and time is short his colleagues never disappoint. Their prices are fair, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and all forms of entertainment are included while you wait. Whether you are a college student looking for a fresh cut for that night out, a passing through traveler, or a resident, I suggest The Good Guys.

I must say I am very impressed with this barber shop.. Great staff great haircuts. They also do very well with children. I haven t been to a professional to get a haircut in a while because the can never seem to nail the cut I want. Dave cut my hair and it is perfect, 100% what I wanted couldn’t be happier. I asked for a simple cut. The exact same cut I got at another barber shop less than 4 weeks earlier. The barber just did his own thing. He cut my hair while facing me away from the mirror. He never even showed me the back of my head.I greatly regret tipping him so well because I look ridiculous. The cut is uneven to the point I have gotten negative comments from clients at work.You dont get to choose who cuts your hair. You are at the mercy of a deli style take a number machine.My guess is that a few of these guys are brand new and havent had much training.I also saw one barber ask for help from someone else, Im guessing because he didnt know what he was doing on a certain cut.Proceed with caution.

TL/DR, An absolute pleasure. 10/10I miss coming home from class to go to these guys every now and then. My first barber shop experience and ultimately the best Ive experienced so far. Very classy and good humored, every barber Ive had the chance to sit down with has been a delight to talk to. If I could, Id go up from my home in Long Island every week to get a trim from these guys just once more. Sadly, Im no longer able to experience the atmosphere of this establishment regularly and am relegated to the discount half-hearted shops around me presently.I recommend to every guy in and around this town to go to this shop for all their haircut needs. Its something you wont find anywhere else, and for an absolute steal if I may say so myself. They give you what in my mind constitutes easily as a $50 service for just $15, and I cannot express enough how worth the wait this place is. Accurate to what you want and friendly, skilled and professional, Id give this place 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

Great atmosphere among some great people. Everytime I go they get the cut right and are always extremely personable. Also they remember you, which is always something special. They remember that you just got a new job, that you just moved here out of state. Each gentleman in the shop makes sure they know their customer. And that, to me, is one of the most special parts of their business. The only barbershop I recommend.

Guys really know what they are doing and crank out business at a great CLIP without sacrificing service.

This is where my teenage sons go, now that they are turning into men. I give them cash and drop them off, trusting these barbers to take good care of them. They are always busy and sometimes you have to wait but, my guys like this place and now dont want to go anyplace else now. The full service hot towel and straight razor neck shave included with the cut makes them feel special and grown-up. Gone are the days of me cutting my boys hair or taking them to a salon. This is a classic mens barbershop and I am happy to send my guys there.

The quality of haircut these guys give is unlike anything Ive been able to find anywhere else. There *does* seem to almost always be a wait, but they have a number system that ensures youll be seen as long as you stick around.Despite the typical wait, I find myself coming back here all the time. All of the barbers are very friendly and seem to have a great eye for both classic and contemporary haircuts. They use an actual razor to trim up the back of your neck, theres a hot towel, its all there. If you want a true barber shop experience, this is the best place to go in Oswego that Ive found so far.

Ive been going to Good Guys Barbershop for almost 2 years now and have never left disappointed. Theres a reason why these guys are insanely busy 99.9% of the time... because they do a phenomenal job. You cant complain about a place that has a refrigerator full of beer/water while you wait, a pool table, and Xbox. These really are good guys! Classic barbers, classic cuts. Very good at fades and other popular styles. Also offer straight razor shaves. Adding more stations to cut down on wait times too!

I drive 2 hours for a haircut and straight razor shave at this place. The barbers know exactly what youre asking for when you describe the cut youre looking for. They dont run clippers over your face and then boot you out of the chair, they take their time and dont rush you in and out.Last but not least are the prices. In Maryland I paid $85 for a haircut and shave that I had to make an appointment for. At The Good Guys I walked in and got a cut and a shave for $22 and it was the best haircut Ive had in 30 years for a 1/4 of the price!!If you value your hair and beard as much as I value mine then you need to make a trip and see for yourself.

Best barbershop youll find around here great atmosphere with the new expansion. They have a pool table and video games if you want to keep yourself busy while waiting. The barbers are always nice, carry on conversation and give awesome cuts, trims and shaves. There is a wait at times, but with a too notch place why wouldnt there be lines.

I have been there yesterday for cutting my hair. Their service was good, they were all passion for their work, but the guy who cut my hair was very terrible! He didnt listen to my request at all, and design the hair style in his imagination. I have never cut my hair like this awful before, and I am sure I will never ever go there again.

Nobody with curly hair should EVER get their hair cut here. A year ago my boyfriend got an awful haircut here but decided to give The Good Guys another chance. What a mistake that was. He has, well, HAD gorgeous long curly hair but he thought it was getting unruly so it was time for another cut. First he had to wait an hour and a half to even see the barber, which isnt a great start but whatever, it happens. The problem lies with the haircut itself though. He asked for about 4 inches on top and shorter on the sides. Kind of a meet me at mcdonalds look I guess (yes its a real thing, just a stupid name). When he left the shop he had MAYBE an inch at the longest part of his hair, so short its straight and he looks like he is being sent off to the military. Idk if the barbers there can only cut straight hair, if they want every guy to be a clone of one another, this one barber in particular is not very good at all, or what but I dont think he will be going back and I certainly dont blame him.
