This tours offers really great insight into growing plants efficiently using hydroponics, climbing plants etc. Taking the tour is a much better way to experience the greenhouse at EPCOT because it expands what is essentially the ride into an hour and fifteen minute guided experience. We had Shannon as our guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely friendly, answering all questions and teaching us all about the different ways Disney is growing and sustaining its restaurants. You can really tell how much she enjoys her job. I hope youre lucky enough to get Shannon as your guide. Sometimes its nice interacting with cast members that arent in character.
It is an hour walking tour with your own agricultural intern in The Land greenhouse. They talk to you about how the hydroponics work, see the fish farm, and be on the other side of the boat tour. The tour is very interactive and is probably the best $25 you can spend at EPCOT. Also dont forget to say hi to Steve the plant.
Really interesting tour showing the botany science Disney invests and contributes to as well as the production facility that provides food for some of their own restaurants. Cant recommend enough. Sara was a wonderful your guide who answered all questions with knowledge, patience and passion for the subject matter.
This was, by far, the most rewarding thing I did at any of the four Disney parks. I was able to dig deeper into something I find interesting, and got to watch some of our future scientists as they had their, sometimes awkward, questions answered seriously and with respect, and not be written off because of the petitioners youth.
Ive done the behind the seeds tour twice now. Both times were slightly different, with different guides and facts, but both were equally enjoyable. Anyone interested in a backstage Disney tour or just gardening in general would enjoy this tour. Its also priced really well based on other tours Disney offers
I LOVE most anything Disney and go every year and thought of trying this tour since my kids love the ride. I was extremely disappointed. It was an hour tour and I learned nothing that isn’t already discussed on the ride- for the entire hour. The tour guide was an intern and was nice but clearly going off what was memorized and added nothing enjoyable. If I’m paying for a tour I would like Disney to take it seriously and have an experienced guide. Further, there were over 20 people in my tour but the tour seemed more conducive for a smaller group as most of the time was spent handing out cucumber slices, passing herbs to smell and waiting for people to walk through the passages. I have two kids (5 and 7) and in no way was this tour tailored to kids, which would have been helpful to know when I booked and gave the ages of my kids. I’m hoping I just had a bad tour guide, but gave one star just because it’s Disney.
Awesome experience highly recommend doing it.
I loved it. So interesting. A great boredom buster.🌻🌼🌷⚘🌱🌲🌳🌺🥀🌹🌴🌵🌾🌿☘🍀🍁🍃🍂
Amazing experience and super educational. Quite possibly the most advanced horticulatural tour in existence!
Great Tour. I have no green thumb but this tour makes you want to grow things. Use your Disney Rewards Visa for a discount on the tour.
Amazing tour, definitely a MUST do!
A must see back stage tour of Epcots Green House. This will up anyones eyes of what world possibilities lay ahead for agriculture and aquaculture. TAKE YOUR KIDS! THIS IS LIKELY SOMETHING THEY WILL NEVER LEARN IN SCHOOL!
Currently called Living with the Land, in this attraction we navigate through various environments linked to agriculture and aquaculture (fish farming in tanks). The characteristic feature is its 9-pound lemons. The tour is in English language.
