Im not going to waste more of my time than I need to on this review, as that would be giving this accountant more attention than they deserve. Let me say that I am not a tax expert nor do I care to be. I seeked out the help of Pauline and her team for assistance with my company in early stages of growth.From the moment I walked in, I was spoken to as if my business was not appreciated. They are absolutely not on your side and it is more a transaction for them more than anything. I needed help understanding some of the basic concepts regarding tax structure for my business, and Pauline failed to explain, and inform me in an appropriate manner.To add to this horrible customer experience, in times of need, specifically during covid pandemic tax issues, they were not by my side.I can go on and on. We have engaged Laus Consulting to file tax return for our rental property in USA for a few years. We sold our US rental property in February this year. They helped us to apply for a FIRPTA withholding certificate with IRS prior closing, which is a very complicated process and requiring liaison with the IRS and coordinating with closing agent. As a result, we got back almost the full amount of the 15% FIRPTA withholding money when the IRS approved the withholding certificate application and reduced the withholding requirement to a few hundred dollars in this June.
