Great customer service and a professional work done in the house. After they finished, they cleaned everything up, leaving the area spotless. And they offered a great financing option. very reasonable. They also hauled away my old solar equipment that had been in the shed for years, after I moved to another place and was not able to find someone to install it for me.

Fun In The Sun Solar recently replaced 5 solar panels for our pool. They were wonderful to work with! I called and they answered the phone with a person. I made an appointment and they showed up on time on the appointment day. We decided to replace the solar panels and they were here to install the new panels on the date/time committed. This company was highly recommended by a friend who is a general contractor and who said he was using them to handle his solar installation. The salesman was polite and easy to deal with. The men who handled the installation were efficient and courteous. They removed the old panels, made sure the shingles were okay, installed the new panels and removed a spa heater that was not functioning. They explained how easy the system was to operate, and hauled away the old panels and the defective spa heater. I was very pleased.

We had a pool built, and although we live in sunny Florida, the pool water was still a little cold for me. I contacted my pool company and was given the name of Mike Brewer. Fun in the Sun provided an extremely professional service which included an initial onsite inspection to support the quote I was given, a preinstallation walkthrough to ensure they had the appropriate materials for the installation, and finally a timely installation. I went with the Pentair Heat Pump, which the installer provided a tutorial on how to use once the install was complete. I plan to use this company going forward and would recommend them to anyone looking for pool equipment.

2 weeks from visit to install. Installed five panels on my home successfully. Came back quickly to resolve a valve with the install. Very knowledgeable staff and a reliable history. They installed an additional chlorinator and did a fine job on the plumbing, fixed an existing leak I had, and offered to paint the pipes to match the house. I would recommend this company.

I contracted Fun in the Sun to replace/update my existing pool solar system. Although I was not available during the installation, it appears to have been a good job. The system works as advertised, and there was very little proof that they were ever here, less the fact that there is a new controller and master valve. And, after the most recent rain storm, there appear to be no leaks in my roof. Good Job!

Be cautious. Fun in the sun installed my solar panels incorrectly and voided the manufacture warranty costing me thousands to correct 5 years later from an authorized dealer. I called them for help and was charged a few hundred to hear they can’t work with the panels any longer.

I had a solar water heater panel installed and my water heater tank serviced. They have excellent customer service. They answered all my questions with no problems. The technicians were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They also followed COVID-19 safety protocol. I have no problems using this company again in the future or referring them to relatives and friends.

Fun in the Sun just installed a pool heat pump for me and I wanted to say that they are a first rate operation from the owner Mike, to the technicians who came to my house and completed the installation quickly and professionally. I just replaced my current pool solar heating system and selected Fun in the Sun Solar. The company that sold me the lousy FAFCO system went out of business here in Orlando and Fun in the Sun took over their service customers. They maintained the FAFCO system for 13 years before it sprang too many leaks to make it repairable. After meeting with Mike, the founder and father of the current owner, I decided that they were my kind of company. This week the two young gentleman came and installed a new 6 panel system by Ultra Swim. They both were a pleasure to deal with and they did a very professional installation. They walked through the new system before leaving. I would highly recommend Fun in the Sun. Their prices were within a few dollars of two other quotes. Now I have a new 12 year warranty and I am good to go!

I would highly recommend these people for anything regarding solar or pool assistance. I originally had a few leaks in my existing panels which made me start researching companies to find someone who might be able to diagnose the issue. One of their guys, Ryan, came out immediately after I had called and within 10 minutes found the issues. The existing panels were past their lifespan which was the reason why all the leaks were happening and after further discussion with my wife we decided to move forward in buying new panels. I did my fair share of research, but I called Ryan a few times to ask all the questions I had and he would stay on the phone with me until I was fully informed and confident in my decision. The part was the office staff, I worked with an Ashley who knocked It out of the park. She provided communication on almost everything immediately between pricing, removal date, installation date, contracts, you name it and she was all over It. For me this is important because we’ve all have been there where a company doesn’t communicate well and that can cause issues. Lastly the installation guys, Zack and Jake the twins (I found out at the end they really were twins which is a funny fact) they called me before arriving to let me know they were on their way and then It was smooth sailing. An important note I took was Zack coming to my door to ask how I wanted some pipes hanging off the roof more or along the wall; this was awesome because I got to pick how certain pieces looked because in the type of guy who wants all the wires hidden or everything flushed to the wall correctly. Needless to say these guys are worth It, their pricing was spot on snd better than some competitors I reached out to, and It didn’t even take them a whole day. Thank you everyone.

I was so surprised about how easy and quick this company worked! I was a little weary about getting solar panels installed but not only was their sales person super nice and personable but the installation guys were also so nice and friendly. Its a family business and you can tell they are just happy and nice people. They made it be a wonderful experience. Cost is about average for this installation but being so quick and easy made it well worth it.

I had fun in the sun come out to give me a quote on solar panels. Here are a few issues I had.1. The salesman had to change appointment times twice on me. once an hour before he was suppose to show.2. He showed up without a mask and didnt even try to distance himself. I get you might have your own opinions of whats going on, but you are representing a company.3. He said solar wouldnt work and said they could do an electric heater and would get me a quote on everything. Never heard back from them.Ended up going to Pinch-A-Penny and it was the best choice ive made.

Prior to making the purchase for solar for my new pool, I interviewed 3 other pool companies. 1 never even came out, gave me a quote over the phone, 1 came out and the workers were more than questionable and the other 2 all they wanted to sell me was full house solar.Jim, came out to my house, kept the social distance and was extremely informative and explained everything is laymens terms. Fortunately, I earned by Florida Solar Energy Center Class 3 & 2 Certifications. Meaning I am a Florida Energy Rater. Everything Jim said, was accurate and true and nothing salesy about him or the information he provided. I asked him questions that are often pitfall questions, and he answered them accurately and explained his answers.After I signed with Jim, his office was in constant contact with me in regards to scheduling the install because my pool company had delays. Day of install was easy. The installers were very professional, personable and explained the noises that we would be hearing inside the home during the install of the system.After the install, I thought there was a problem with the system in regards to the operation of the system. A tech came out to my house, was on-time and reviewed my system. Within minutes after I explained to him what I thought was wrong, he had answers to my concerns. He fully explained all my concerns and even showed me other pools that they service, their status to show my system was in-line for the season.I highly recommend Fun and Sun for your pools solar needs. Fast, and warm! Loving the pool solar

Professional solar install but if you want any maintenance performed by them after install, they will nickel and dime you. I don’t mind paying for service but when they come out for a specific issue and the issue is still going on two months later, you should not be charged for another service fee…. Over $100 each time may I add. They want to point the finger at the customer that issues could be due to lack of owner maintenance and do not take responsibility for anything. Oh and every single time the “warranty just expired”. Not a happy customer and will not use them ever again.

When we had our roof replaced and our pool renovated, we used Fun in the Sun to replace our prior (aging) solar pool heating system and could not be more pleased with the experience. A quick turnaound on the quote/proposal, was followed by prompt scheduling, then the on-time arrival of the team to take down the old system. Following the replacement of our roof, the Fun in the Sun team was back to put up the new system. It needed to be wired into our newly installed pool control system (an Omnilogic by Hayward), but it was one the install team did not have experience with, so they arranged to have their expert come the following morning. Not only was he totally familiar with our system and very knowledgeable, but he even cleaned up the wiring done by the pool construction company who installed our controller, because he would have wanted it to be done if it was his house. When he got done, my system was not only fully operational, but also more aesthetically pleasing than it was before. Very pleased with everyone we dealt with at Fun in the Sun - from the people on the phone to the people who did the work at our house. They are very deserving of their fine reputation and you can count us among their very happy customers.

We recently decided to replace our long dead pool heat pump. There are basically 3 well known pool companies in this area. 2 of them gave me quotes without looking at my pool equipment. Fun in the Sun was the only one where someone came out to give me a quote based on what equipment I already had. They gave me the lowest price by almost $500 and installed a quality heat pump within 2 weeks as promised. The installer did everything they promised. Removed all the old equipment, replaced the fiberglass slab with a pre poured concrete one did all the electrical and connections and checked to make sure everything worked correctly. He even replaced my disconnect box for no charge because that old one looked pretty bad. Very satisfied with my choice.

We had solar for the pool and a gas heater for the spa installed 7 months ago and have been very pleased with their work and products!When we recently had an issue with the gas line, that our gas company claimed was fun in the sun’s unit that was the problem, fun I’m the sun came and tested the unit for free, explained everything in detail while testing, and even though it wasn’t their responsibility they found the problem for me (it was indeed the gas company’s product/equipment/fault.)Very pleased with the continued customer service.10/10, five stars, two thumbs up! 👍 👍

Dun in the sun was very helpful with the whole process for my solar for my pool. They had some great specials during the summer and I was able to upgrade the system and I even got more panels than I was originally thinking. They showed up on the day they said they’d be here and completed the job with no mess left behind. I’d definitely recommend them.

Make sure your home if you use this company. If they do anything on your system they just leave you a surprise bill and don’t discuss repair cost upfront. Shop around when looking for a solar company. I will the next time I need service.

I was referred by a co-worker to James at Fun Sun after I was having no luck finding a decent company on my own . He was very knowledgeable about all of the different types of heater as they do them all. He wasnt pushy whatsoever as he just tried to see what type of heater was best for my needs. Some of the other salesmen that came out talked more about other companies then about the products but he only talked about the different types of heaters which was nice to not hear any more drama( I mean there was some crazy tales told by a few guys. lol ). I decided to have an Aquatherm solar pool heater installed on top of a custom pergola with a energy saving pool pump and a salt system put in. They were defiantly more expensive than the other 3 companies but we felt the most comfortable going with them because it was a custom project. The system has been in for a month or so and it is working better than advertised. The system looks great and James followed up to see how everything turned out and to make sure we were completely satisfied. All I have to say is James you have an unbelievable team keep up the great work as I have a couple of friends that will be calling you very soon!

This companys policy is no free estimates. Just to get them to come and look at a repair job will cost you 120$. Of course theyll gladly use that as a deposit towards the final bill if they do the work. That does not leave one with any sense of respect for a prospective-client and they obviously have no cares or concerns for people who are in distress. priorities are unfair business practices.

We purchased the solar heat for our 10 x 30 pool Mike explained the entire process from start to finish and what to expect. everything he explained was done like clockwork just as he had explained. Then came the day of installation. There we two gentlemen that did the install, and what a great job, their professionalism was exceptional and the workmanship of our system was excellent. After the job was complete a thorough explanation of how the system components worked was given. The pool was warm within two days. We live in Florida. We love our pool. But if you want to swim in it a lot you need to heat it and take advantage of the sun. Fun In The Sun Solar is a great company. They came out and explained everything to us and a week later we had two technicians on our roof installing our solar panels. I will tell you we had one tiny drip so I called and left a message Sunday. Monday morning they called me back and a technician came by Monday afternoon. I Appreciate all of their employees and highly recommend this company. The fact that it is local and family run is a added plus. You will not be disappointed.

I wish there was a way to give 6 stars. They were the most responsive, best price, fastest to install and did a phenomenal job. I had both solar and gas heater replaced, and the work was impeccable. The customer service team is great and they have been incredibly responsive! Absolutely the best in the business.

Made an appointment for a loose pipe on my roof for the solar heating system, had to wait almost a month and when the tech showed up he refused to touch the system and said that I needed a whole new system, I was charged $119 dollars for nothing and the quote that was promised never arrived, I had another company made the repair (missing brackets after installing a new roof) checked for leaks that were corrected and the system has been fine ever since! Waste of time and money!

I had this solar pool heat installed two years ago. I love my solar pool heater and the company was nice and the install was great. They are definitely recommended and always work with you if you have any issues.The only reason they did not get five stars is I was told to keep warranty on my solar it would just require a yearly $99 maintenance/inspection fee which I did not have an issue with. But most recently they changed the maintenance/inspection fee to $149 and that was unexpected. I wish that was better communicated that the fee will increase. So just know the yearly inspection fee might go up but if they communicate that upfront it won’t be an issue later. Other than that they are great.

We were very pleased with Fun in the Sun Solar, from the initial contact to the final installation. Purchasing the solar panels will save us a lot of money by not having to heat our pool with propane gas. The Fun in the Sun crew were very professional. Zac and Cody arrived and said they would probably be finished by 2:30. After giving us a very understandable lesson of the controls they left at 1:30. Be very careful with this company they sell old equipment that doesnt work, then they charge you to fix it. When they cant fix it they give you 3 month appointment forcing you to go elsewhere. 0 star not 1. I had to get another Company to replace an entire solar system from them. Cost over $4k. Best replacement that could happen to me. My system is 100% better. **Do your homework before buying from Fun in the Sun Solar, they definitely are NO FUN.

Bad company to deal with. Notice that I had a heavy lost of water in my pool and found that the culprit was a leak on the solar panel. At the same time we were replacing my roof. We called Fun and the Sun to advice that we will need the panel removed and they told us that we can use any company to bring down the Solar Panel as long as they are certified with the same type of solar panels. So we did the roofing company hired a company to bring down the solar panel and they confirmed that the panel were leaking and that calcium residue show in the pipes. After the roof was completed the Solar Panels were put in place.. We called fun in the sun solar and they send a technician to review the installation and did a tune up.. $150 for the service call. He wrote back that the panels were not installed properly and the whole system now needs to be replace cost = $4000+. I have talked to customer service and explained that the system was shutoff and never turned back on since the new roof was installed. They dont want to hear it they wont even honor the factory warranty. How can the whole system be bad.. all we need to change will be maybe one panel.. Horrible company and horrible customer service.

All the employees who came to our house were helpful and professional. The gentleman who installed our new control system (John) was helpful and went above and beyond to clean up/remove old piping and boxes that were present. Ryan was also extremely kind and helpful when he came with a colleague to place the new panels. We are happy with our system; we feel it is good quality and will last a long time. Highly recommend.

Great communication. They installed a heat pump for my pool. This included having to run new electrical, pad, etc. Install was much quicker than anticipated. Total time was less than 3 hours. Would use again for anything pool related.

Mike (the owner) came out to talk to us about our needs and the different options that were available. He was very nice and knowledgeable in explaining the differences. We choose the product that fit our needs. The installation process was seamless and efficient. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

Not happy at all with the situation I just experienced.I notice my panels cracked and leaking on the roof. I know that this panels hold a long warranty. So I call Fun in the sun to get it inspected and replace my panels through warranty. THEY ARE THE AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR FAFCO. So they come out and performed an inspection and charge me $$$& to tell me something i already knew. On top of this I get a paper with a FAFCO phone number for me to call and deal with the for warranty. Of course this company never answer the phone.On top of that fun in the sun technician tell us GOOD LUCK DEALING WITH FAFCO. You will have a hard time getting panels replace.I wish when they try to sell you this 10k solar system the tell you all this.This company really sucks. Avoid if you can.I used to refer them. Not any more.

Of our whole pool building process, Mike Brewer and the Fun in Sun crew were the only ones to do exactly what they said, on time, and without having to wonder if they were coming. The completed job was professional and it works great. Sat am the pool was 84 degrees, turned on pump and solar and by noon I had to turn it off as the pool was a perfect 89 degrees for us and the kids. Thanks to everyone at Fun In Sun, we will be swimming more months out of the year. I highly recommend them.

We were very disappointed with our sales rep Pete, We had our installation scheduled today and he had promised us 12ft panels- he did not communicate this to either the technicians or ourselves, so they bought 10ft panels. He also stated he would contact us before the technicians arrived to confirm a time which he also failed to do. We felt that once he had a signed contract we were no longer important.We were ready to cancel however the technicians took the initiative to correct the situation and did so in a very professional way, they went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

Fun in the Sun Solar has been a great company to work with. We recently had them do work on our pool in general, and then install a pool heater. The service was well done, professional (both the field technicians and the office staff) and every person we have dealt with has been a pleasure to work with.
