When I got to the shop the manager and staff greeted me with a smile in their voices and fist bump (do to COVID no hand shakes). The Manager Kendall took my order to install shocks, struts and a must do wheel alignment. A few hours later, my car was handed back to me with my job order completely done. I took it for a 10 min test drive and car was like it spankin new!!! Reasonable price and great service.

Incredible service overall. Okay Andrew and Luis cared about the car and my budget as if it were their own. Additionally, they took the time to explain everything in detail to me about my car while providing me with food and a Lyft back to my house. They even covered some costs for me under the table. These two mechanics made me a loyal customer to Pepboys!

Andrew the new Service Manager is very nice and works hard on making sure everything runs smoothly. Luis was my mechanic he is a hard worker and a perfectionist. These are traits you want and need from someone working on your car.

I just moved to Orlando and had some issues with my car AC. Spoke to multiple places before deciding to take to Pepboys and had a mechanic looked at my AC before driving from GA to FL, so I was aware of what the issue might be but wanted to double check. I spoke to John and told him the issue of my AC and what it might be to have changed out but John insisted to make sure he rules out all the cause of the AC issue before proceeding and changes since AC are kore tricky then just an oil change, tires change and any other simple mechanical work. John was super helpful with diagnosing the AC issue. He got to the bottom of the issue and explained everything so well and detailed for me to understand the problem. The quote wasn’t overpriced like many other shops had provided me, so I trusted John’s expertise right from the first phone call when I made the appointment to bring my car into the shop.

I brought my car in to be serviced when my battery gave out. They told me I needed a new alternator, and that it would cost $1320 because it was so hard to find that the dealership was marking the price up (not including labor, or the new battery I also needed.) Okay. Not only did I find a VW alternator at a local junkyard for $60, I brought my car to an HONEST mechanic who discovered that one of the cells in the battery was bad, and the alternator was perfectly fine, so all I needed was a new battery :)

Had a great experience. Rockie was very helpful and informed me of all maintenance performed and required on the car. The service was quick and friendly. Definitely will return!

Do not use this location. I bought a set of 4 tires a month ago from the location half mile East of this location. A week later went back because the alignment was incorrect. They re-aligned but still didnt work. Call the manager and told me to go to another PepBoys that had a new machine. So I went to this location. Guy told me the Tire Technician was off, so set me up for an appointment at 8 am on Friday, July 6th. Before I left I asked him approximately how long it would take and he said 45 minutes. Got a few hours off work to take care of this. I showed up at 8 am and the technician is not there (his name is Andrew). He showed up at 9 am. The starts working on my truck and 1 hour and 15 minutes later he lowers the lift. Goes for a test drive and comes back telling me its fine now. Well, I had to go to work otherwise I wouldve gone back because the truck is still not properly aligned. It sucks that I had to lose 3 hours of work for nothing and the funny thing is while I was waiting, I see this sign saying well test your vehicle, not your patience BS!!! Unbelievable!!!!! why do they scheduled me at 8? why havent they been able to align my truck? why are these people so irresponsible? and then when I get in my truck I see the door handle like this....didnt even care about the grease in his hands.....Justin, the manager was making stuff up and never offer even coffee or apologize for the wait.

I at first rated this place a 1 star for the pricing as I found the price to be such a jump from what I pay back home. So when Kendall called me about the car and how they wouldnt be able to do the tire rotation I was a little agitated that now I have to pay for an oil change but not have my tire rotated. So upon my arrival when said service was complete Kendall inquired about the oil change that I referenced on the phone and showed him the price being that of 58 a difference of 20 dollars not the biggest deal. Kendall went above and beyond and switched the prices to the one the dealership had done. I deserved to pay more though I was rude and not a friendly customer. I was shown kindness and care throughout my whole experience and Kendall did not waiver at all. We ended the convo on kind remarks and whenever I am in Orlando would trust a fair shake with this pep boys over any other.

This location is professional, fast and very kind to customers who need to troubleshoot their cars problems. I was having issues with my battery and Kendall was able to find the appropriate battery for my car and install it for me despite closing time being near. They are timely and super friendly. I recommend this Pepboys for battery servicing.

I made an appointment at the PepBoys down the road but mistakenly went to this one. However, Kendall jumped to help me install my headlight. Quick and easy within 10 minutes! Making this my new car shop :)

I have been taking all 3 vehicles in my household here for years. I have always had great service and continue to get quality repairs from the mechanics. However, they have a new store manager that informed me they can no longer do oil changes with customer supplied oil even though it is in the original sealed containers. I prefer to use a special Mobile 1 for my truck since I do a lot of long distance driving with it. He said he could order the same oil and sell it to me. Of course that would include a much higher price than what I pay when I buy it in bulk. I spoke to corporate Pep Boys and was told they are unaware of any policy in regards to customer supplied oil. Unfortunately staying with this Pep Boys isnt worth paying double for an oil change. So now they will lose all if the rest of my service and tire purchases, all because Bryant (the manager) wanted to make a few extra dollars.

I am glad to give this place five stars. During a routine maintenance with my car dealer, I was told the rear brake need service which includes replacing pads as well as the disks. When I asked whether they could just resurface instead of replacing the discs, they said no. I then did a search on the web, and Pep Boys #1814 in East Colonial Drive caught my attention. First, the former name of the store was “Just Brakes”. Second, it has received excellent customer review. So I decided to give it a try. I live in Dr. Phillips area, and it was a long drive to get to the store. However, it is totally worth the effort. The technician Andrew is very knowledgeable and professional. Although he understood that I wanted to resurface the disks to save some money, he did not promise me immediately but carefully measured the thickness of the disc and examined the condition of its surface. Finally, he told me he could resurface the disks without compromising safety and performance. Not only he did an excellent job to fix my rear brake, Andrew also carefully checked my front brake and gave me valuable suggestions. The manager was also extremely nice. When he saw some scratch on the rear bumper, he volunteered to use a polish tool to remove it. He also collected the rebate claim form for me, and even gave me a 10% senior discount. It was really a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this place.

I would give 10 stars if I could due to how great Andrew was with the service of my vehicle! I’ll be honest and say I usually have a huge stress when it comes to going to auto body shops since I’ll go for one thing and then I’ll get told there’s a lot more that needs to be fixed with my vehicles; yet can’t get a clear understanding of what exactly needs to be done. However, Andrew’s knowledge and patience in explaining the issues with my car today felt like such a relief. Not because there’s no further work to be done, because there definitely is. But he explained everything to where I could understand and again I’ll say IT WAS A RELIEF. Just moved to Orlando a few months ago and happy I found a place with a mechanic I can trust. I won’t go anywhere else. Thank you Andrew!

The men at this location are absolutely wonderful. I have been a customer here for a while now and have not been disappointed during any visits. Eric and Freddy helped service my car during my most recent visit and explained things to me in a way that was extremely easy to understand. The prices were very reasonable, and I was able to get in and out with no issues. Strongly recommend this location!! ☺️

I’ve been to many car dealers, especially all the Pep’s Boy in my area . This location has given me the best services so far . The staffs were very earnest to assist you with your needs, they’re patient and polite . No BS at all . Reasonable price you won’t see anywhere .Friendly advise - The Pep’s Boy on “ 420 Woodland Lake Dr” is extremely awful . Very rude services and unprofessional staffs ; they will rip you off in every way. Trust me I’ve been through it all . Absolutely scam .

Technical Satisfaction (5 stars): I got my rotors and break pads properly addressed today. My breaking is now smooth and I feel safe in my car again.Customer Service Satisfaction (5 stars): Andrew and Eric were very nice and obviously experienced. They were both friendly, patient and willing to take the time to explain everything. Both men were not only professional, but spoke to me in a straight forward manner without any hint of there being an assumption that I did not know about vehicles just because I am a female. That being said, after admitting that I was not familiar with what they were talking about they kindly explained the concepts to me in a different way so that I was able to fully understand everything including my options.I would recommend these two gentlemen for auto services to anyone and will certainly be coming back to them for the foreseeable future.

These guys were fantastic. I had to bring my car in twice within a weeks period. Once for brakes and a few days later for an alternator. Everyone was very nice and willing to work with my budget. Car repairs and parts are expensive, and as someone who lives on a very strict budget, this was very stressful for me. The guys at Pep Boys made the entire experience so much better than it could have been. Customer service was great. They called to give me updates and let me know of any changes, and answered all of my questions. I absolutely recommend them. My car is now stopping and running, just as it should!

Best pep boys for miles, if you have any aftermarket parts that you want installed they will do it unlike other pep boys around this one, a little pricey but maybe its because it was my first visit, will see over the next few months

I had to have my car towed to this facility this past weekend as the key was not turning in the ignition. I informed Eric and Andrew that I had been driving a rental for a few days and it was getting expensive. They explained to me from the very get-go as to what the issue could be (either a need for a new key or a change in the ignition cylinder). They advised me to attempt getting a new key as it would be a cheaper option, first. They even went so far as to suggest a few places where I could get it done inexpensively. Turns out, all I needed was a new key. While the guys did not have to do any repairs on my vehicle, they were INCREDIBLY HELPFUL and transparent about what to expect from the very beginning.Getting car repairs completed can be a stressful and expensive process. Its good to know that both Eric and Andrew were on my side and wanted the best for me as a customer. It is much appreciated!

I had a rental car and a tire seemed low so I stopped in and was approached by Andrew. Before filling the tire he got the diagnostic info on the tires and then topped off all 4. I was in a panic mode because I was afraid Id have to buy a tire and he reassured me there was no issue with the one I was concerned about. And what a surprise when he said there was no charge. I cant thank Andrew enough for the fantastic customer service he gave and how kind he was to me being in the state of mind I was in.

Never trust PEP BOYS, their too expensive & they intentionally mess with your car for repeat service.

Amazing first experience. Worked with Will, he is very knowledgeable, honest, gets you the best deal they have to offer. The price was fair and I increased my knowledge of the brake system on my 1999 Ford F150. I would highly recommend the brake fluid flush if you have squishy brakes, the difference is night and day. This will be my go to stop for maintenance from now on, highly recommend it.

Ive never been to such a great mechanic before! I spoke with Will on the phone before going in and his customer service was outstanding. I brought my Prius in and told them I was on a pretty strict budget and they were great at explaining what they would do. They brought my car around and checked everything out, took the wheels off etc, and they told me that I didnt need to get them changed just yet if I didnt want to and didnt charge me. Finding a mechanic that is that honest and isnt looking to just make money is so hard to come by, and I guarantee Ill be going there when it is actually time to get them changed!!

If I could give negative stars I would! On Saturday I had an appointment for a tire rotation, balance and alignment because I felt a little shaking in my steering wheel while driving. Pep Boys had my car for less than an hour when we received a phone call saying that i needed new tires. When we questioned the mechanic, we were told my tires were all worn down and cupping. We let him know we were not interested in buying tires and only wanted the services done that we asked for. We were then told that unless we bought tires from them, he would not do any work on my car! 😡 we quickly picked up my car and came home. Today I had another mechanic take a look at my tires and BIG SURPRISE everything was fine. He rotated and balanced my tires and the shaking has stopped.I will not be calling Pep Boys anytime soon, clearly they thought we didn’t know anything about cars and would just hand over money.

Great service. Came here for a second quote after Tires Plus told me I need new brake pads. They told me I was good for another couple 10,000 miles and did not charge me for inspecting my car.

I had a heavy vibration in my car, the brakes weren’t right. So I took my car to Pep Boys, Andrew was awesome!!!! He went through my car and found things that I would have never guessed was wrong with the car, he had great knowledge of what was going on with the car and made sure to update me throughout the process! Its not the fanciest place Ive been to but Will the manager was very nice and knowledgeable. I went in for the usual front brakes and a oil change.... (they were having a $10 off special for veterans day🇺🇸😀) unfortunately I needed a caliper on one side and new rotors on both and he was happy to walk me over to the car and SHOW me. He was very helpful with keeping the cost down instead of the usual... U NEED all this extra stuff. Im a woman and sometimes feel like places use this to their advantage. Overall I only spent what was necessary and felt Will was fair and honest with me. I will definitely recommend Just Brakes on E. Colonial and Dean as long as Will works there!

Waste of time. Free tire rotation appointment turned out into a sales pitch for buying new tires. I set up an appointment to get a supposedly free tire rotation and the guy said it was not possible and I instead needed to buy new tires.Went to a mom and pop tire place, they laughed about the story, rotated the tires and told me I could still use them for a while longer.

Do not get any service from this place. They are liars and only want more money. They stated I needed new back breaks and Rotors. I went in for shaking in the front of the car, not the back. I took my car to another place for a second opinion and they proved to me that my back breaks and rotors were fine since they were replaced a year ago and that all I needed to fix was my front rotors. So this place wanted me to fix something that was not a problem and told me the front rotors were fine when they actually needed to be changed.

The employees here were better than I expected. They were not pushy when it came to additions to the initial $99 repair quote. They found some brake problems that needed fixing in addition to the base repairs. Each problem was explained to me in plain English and shown to me on my car. These guys were not pushing the extra repairs on me, since the quoted price was going to exceed $400, but were instead very calm about it. I have no idea how brakes work; havent had my cars brakes checked out for 6 years, so I went ahead with the repairs.While waiting for them to complete the repairs for the 3 or so hours it took, the manager (nice guy named Bill) offered to drive me anywhere I needed to go. He also offered to let a couple of us waiting in the lobby watch any recent movies that they had available on DVD. Good stuff there. Had I not brought a huge novel to read, this would have helped the time pass.Also worth mentioning is that a very irate Mazda owner was yelling at the employees here because they were charging him something like $200 to fix up the brakes and another piece of the brake system. He had called around while waiting for the quote; a local place told him theyd fix the same things for way less, so he was very pushy and argumentative. The employees calmly went over all the pieces of his vehicle quote and handled him extremely well. He left after a while to go to the other place. They misunderstood him on the phone, because he came back 40 minutes later and said the other place was charging him an extra $100 to do the same things. He felt so bad that he took an employee to a local store to be treated to lunch.In summary, I cant say whether these guys add unneeded stuff to your bill, but the employees were top notch and very friendly when I visited (early March 2009).

Went here after the Pep Boys down the road let me down and dismissed me. Andrew went above and beyond to assist me in replacing my knock sensor, considering it was a bit old and a little challenging to remove. Really friendly vibe and staff helped me and undid my previous negative experience.

Great and quick service today on my vehicle. Not only did the manager Will take the time to explain each product, but educated me on future maintenance of my car.

They fixed my brakes and when they gave me the car I drove like half a mile I heard a noise coming from my tires so I came back and I spent about one more hour waiting to fix the problem and on top of that one week later I went to replace two rear tires and they told me that the knots where locked so I needed to come back again and wait five more hours waiting to replace two knots and bolts. I advise that people dont go to just brakes and especially the one that is located in colonial and Dean rd

They are not only mechanics but they encompass a bit of salesmen attitudes, which push every tune up, replacement, and additional services to the customer. Amazing from a business standpoint but customer relations can be a bit damaged from this way of running things.I came in once for a $99 brake change and they estimated my car to need a total of $1500+ changes in brake system, wheels, and a bunch of other things. Hearing things like that scare future customers away!Overall however they are extremely friendly and regardless of theyre ways to get you to buy things they are very understanding.Will keep coming here in the future.

I ordered some stuff online to be picked up at this location. They never called me to let me know that my stuff was ready to be picked up. After couple of days I chatted with pepboys representative online and asked about my order. He checked and told me that it has already been delivered to the store and it is ready to be picked up. I went to the location the next day to pick it up but the person who was supposed to log into their system to process the order was not there. They took my number and told me that they were going to call me the next day. Never happened. After couple of days again I went to the store and finally picked up my items. I am not planning to use this Pepboys location anymore for order pickup or service

I have nothing nice to say. Rolled up with squeaking brakes knowing all that I needed were my pads changed. Left the car out of my sight for 15 mins and came back with a 1200+$ quote for the WORLD of problems my car suddenly had. They had already started with the pad replace ment so I laughed and ignored their con like advices. Then suddenly my emergency brake pin snaps because and I quote wear and tear parts tend to do that in the middle of the rear pad replacement. Costing me more money. Then another gentlemen comes to me with a cup of water in his hand and takes a drop of the (what I know to be brake fluid) from my master cylinder and proceeded to tell me that the liquid in my brake lines was not brake fluid but something else. This something else would and I quote damage the lines to my brakes and they needed to be changed immediately and he knew this by testing the viscosity of the liquid in placing a drop into the cup of water. My experience with this location was in February 2014 and my car is doing just fine.I understand that not everyone is at the same level of intelligence when is comes to cars but i find the staff I encountered was just trying to take advantage. I recommend elsewhere

I just found out, Will is gone! Without him theres no point going to this shop. It looked like he was the only guy there with any tools. Plus, I think he was the only one there that could fix anything. I guess if you want a cheap oil change this could be the place. But if you need any repairs, Id find another shop.

DONT GO HERE. Gave me a quote for $500, which magically turned into $1,049. I had to be a jerk and cuss to get them to give me just the service quoted. Even with that they tried to add labor on top. Go if you want, but dont expect honesty. *** Went back to get the other issue fixed 4 weeks later to see if they could redeem themselves. Spent $524 more on new calipers for the front. It wasnt the calipers, which was what they said it was the first time. Completely incompetent; wow. 0 stars really should be an option. Kevin is nice. Thats the only good thing.

I bought a Groupon a few months ago for Just Brakes and I was a little skeptical because I had never been there before. The Groupon was cheap so I decided to try it. After my experience at Just Brakes I will be a return customer for life. Every time I went in to get my oil changed the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Being a woman in college, I always hated going to get work done on my car just because everywhere else Ive gone theyve tried to sell me things that I dont need done. Just Brakes didnt do that. They evaluated my car and told me what to be careful of and changed my oil. Love Just Brakes and will definitely be returning!

June 1, 2013: My son takes his car to Just Brakes on East Colonial in Orlando; his brakes had suddenly locked up without notice, then let go again; this happened twice. He is in college at UCF, and I am 100 miles north. He takes the car to Just Brakes at 9834 East Colonial in Orlando on Saturday June 1. I get a call from this place telling me the ENTIRE brake system needs to be replaced for $1300!!!!; I tell them theyre nuts, because my mechanic inspected the car recently and passed the brakes. They tell me there are things seriously wrong with the brake system, but probably could be fixed for less. I tell them their budget is $400, and they are happy to do what they can. They wind up replacing all four rotors.My son comes home Friday Saturday night (same day as repair), and complains that the brakes are grinding and making squealing noises, which it did not do prior to the repair.Monday, today, I take the car to my mechanic locally (he is a certified Honda mechanic at the Honda dealership). Turns out Just Brakes installed the incorrect rotors on the car, so it was grinding a squealing. Honda replaced the rotors and all is well.Just Brakes ripped me for $426. I have emailed their home office, but havent heard from them yet, and dont really expect to.For those of you parents of UCF students out there needing work done on your kids cars in Orlando, PLEASE stay away from this place; they try to maximize their bill to you, and will settle for whatever you want to pay them. Then, they dont install the correct parts, and Im not so sure they ever diagnosed the original problem with the brakes. I am not so angry about the money, but with the nonchalant attitude for the wallets of their customer base and the non-caring attitude with the original problem with the car.

Would never do business here, called for a mount and balance and the guy kept trying to sell me new tires when I just needed a simple mount and balance of the tires I already had. Sleazy sales tactics.

Stay away from this place ! After dealing with three stores, and this one being the frist one that messed up my car. Car is smoking and burning oil from somewhere and all pep boys did, was run away from the issue and refuneded me my full $995.00 which its been two weeks and i stil havent got my refuned to fix my car! STAY AWAY FROM HERE, YOU BEEN WARNED!

I was going to suggest never go to a place called Just Brakes for anything but brakes, but after reading these reviews, it looks like they cant even get that right. I had a Groupon for oil changes and I knew I needed front tires on my vehicle. I went down there on a Saturday around noon and expected it to be busy. I was told it would take 1.5 hours to do an oil change and mount/balance 2 tires. I still thought this was a bit much but I had some time before I needed to be elsewhere and I needed it done. I also thought their price of $300 for two tires was a lot but I worked them down to $250 and felt it was a good enough deal to proceed. They didnt bother to tell me they didnt have the tires in stock, so 2.5 hours later, they rush to get my car done and I was up against being late for being elsewhere. The first thing I noticed was they never bothered to change the oil sticker. What would you expect from a place called Just Brakes? A few more miles down the road Im traveling between 55 and 60 miles and hour and my front end started bouncing around. Im not even sure they attempted to balance the tires. What would you expect from a place called Just Brakes? Later that evening on my way home the tire pressure light came on. I figured they just didnt reset the sensor when they put the wheels back on. Keep reading for how this turns out. At this point I dont have time to get back to the shop to have them fix the issues so I plan to do so tomorrow. Now, to top it all off, I go out to get in my car this morning and the front left tire is almost completely flat! (I had the two front tires replaced) On top of that, there are no valve stem covers on either front tire. I know the valve stem covers arent a big deal, but the tires are not even 24 hours old!Heed the advise of the previous comments and save your vehicle from these unprofessionals. Your car deserves better, even if all you need is them to check just brakes.UPDATE::: After calling their corporate number and asking to speak with the district manager 3 times, they offered to reimburse me for getting the issue fixed elsewhere. Not what I wanted, but a decent effort to resolve the situation. The store manager was not able to make that call.

I had my car scheduled to get my brakes changed at 2 pm. I dropped my car off around 1. By 5pm my brakes still were not changed. I had to uber over to pick up my car and leave with no service after waiting 4 hours for it. The gentleman was not rude or dismissive but if its going to take more than an hour the customer needs to be notified. Also when I stepped into my car it reeked of cigarettes. VERY DISATSFIED.

These people are genuine good people. GREENWAY FORD would not look at the car that I bought from them less than 1 month ago unless I paid 130$. I googled the closest place near that location, and luckily these guys showed up. After explaining my situation, Will (awesome employee) told me just to bring my car there and he would take a test drive and figure out what was wrong for free, which he did in less than 20 minutes. After quickly figuring out what was wrong, Will and Shane (awesome front desk) assisted me with calling Greenway back, and telling them exactly what was wrong. Can I mention, Will even offered to come with me to Greenway to tell them the problem?! With their amazing help, Greenway is covering any fees and assessing the issue (which believe me, is far from over). These gentlemen, even took the time to call me at the end of their shift just to make sure that I was okay and got everything figured out at my car dealership. I spent no money here, but the interaction with these fine gentlemen greatly restored my faith in humanity and I could not be more grateful. Thank you so much.

There price was a little higher but totally worth it no wait friendly two guys nice polite with manners ty again I will be bk this store is nothing like the other pepboys that keep you waiting 45 minutes with an appointment and you want fast friendly service this is the place

The service was very bad. We waitied a very long time until we got a flate tire fixed. Without looking at the car, he said we need a new tire.This employee, Shean Davis, was very rude with a very bad attitude. He treated us with disrespect and he was talking to us about religion and made us feel comfortable. Also, he wanted to charge us an extra $10 for so.ething we did not ask for.I dont recommend this place to anyone.

Was conned by my dealer when they informed me all of my breaks needed to be replaced at 38,000 miles. I called 3 other businesses that specialize in breaks and Will from Just Breaks was the only person who told me to come in for an inspection free of charge to ensure my breaks really needed to get reaplaced. During my visit Will measures each break infront of me and showed me that my breaks were ok. He also helped me with a problem the dealer caused by balancing all my tires. The customer service I received was phenomenal and very appreciated. I would definitely return to give Will my business.

Ramir and his staff are the best had a great time while I waited for my car to be fixed the right way will definitely be back

Shop is now Pep Boys and service, quality and price are terrible. Charged 800 dollars to replace160 dollars worth of parts. Made me wait a total of ten hours at shop for the privilege. Then left two lug nuts off my tires and sent me on my way.

I brought my car in when brakes were squeaking and they were fast to have it replaced. Price were very fair!

Dont stop here if you value your time and money.-Waited an hour and a half for just a tire patch.-One of the employees was very impolite and disrespectful.-And tried to charge us for a service that we did not asked for.

Joe and ramir were great.they showed me everything and explained everything loud and clear.felt extremely comfortable getting my car repairs done at this location.will definately recommend to all my friends and family.thanks guys see you again real soon.
