I first met Margaret when we were working together in Johns Hopkins gifted and talented students camp in the mid-1990s and have admired her ever since. I was initially drawn to her intelligent, kind spirit but stuck around for the fun, enthusiastic personality and unflagging optimism. She has always shown the utmost compassion and conscientiousness in every situation Ive ever witnessed, even when the stakes were low or negligible, inspiring those around her to be better people themselves. When she first began exploring a career in helping others, it felt like such a natural move for her, even though it wasnt a career in teaching math (the expected progression for someone with her position at the camp where we both taught). Margaret had, even as a very young adult, an innate ability to seek out just what was most beneficial to a persons wellness and enact it flawlessly. She is kind and nurturing and intelligent in so many ways; in a word, she is marvelous.
I trust Brett Burlone because he is honest and direct with my relationship challenges. He is a great listener and asks a lot of thought provoking questions. I feel better after working with him.
40 dollar forced and previously unknown subscription feels very snatchy. I liked the way its set up though . I would rate 4 stars if not for sub. Found offices very close also.
I was so happy to learn that Brett Burlone joined your team. As a former Executive Director of Zebra Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to providing counseling, support, and a continuum of services to LGBT+ youth and their families, I was able to see firsthand the care, attention to detail, and positive outcomes Brett not only brings to his clients but also his colleagues, community, and partners. When I think of the people I’ve had the privilege to work with throughout my career, Brett is one of the few that stands out the most. I’ve truly never seen someone care as deeply about others; ready to work alongside his clients and team to be their best selves.
I have had the pleasure of working with Brett as my supervisor and can speak to his hard working and genuine nature. Brett carries himself with honesty, directness, and genuineness! It was nothing but a pleasure to have worked with him.
Margaret and I were in the same graduate program at San Diego State University. From the first day, I could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience to offer our group. I was always curious about her reflections and input during our group discussions. She is also one of the most compassionate and kind people I know. She not only works diligently to provide the best care; she also strives to make her clients feel welcomed.
I have known Brett Burlone for 3 years and was fortunate to have him as a clinical supervisor and support person. He is an open-minded and inquisitive therapist who works alongside people to uncover strengths. I recommend the work and support he gives others!

I had a scheduled appointment today with counselor Lisa. I received a confirmation e-mail, etc. However, on the day of the appointment Lisa did not show up. No professional curiosity extended. Unfortunately, this is not a company I would use going forward.
I had the pleasure of working with Margaret at the San Diego LGBT Community Center. Margaret is so authentic and actively engages with clients - and is well-prepared to support a diverse client base. Margaret will do well in private practice!
I have had a hard time finding a couples counselor during COVID that was both unaffiliated with a religious organization, had a strong history of dealing with childhood trauma and could effectively handle virtual counseling so I was so luck to find Margaret Keig. My husband who was hesitant about counseling was comfortable speaking to her and her questions and approach to counseling had been already beneficial after just a few sessions.
I worked with Margaret as a colleague at the San Diego LGBT Community Center and found her to be very caring and compassionate to her clients. She is trained to work in various areas and is very LGBTQ affirming.
Ive known Brett for a couple of years and can attest to his direct and honest desire to help others to the best of his abilities. He has shown to be a great mentor and challenges others to be the best version of who they.
