I had the opportunity of residing at the Covenant House. I regret not staying until I turned 21. I would have had a lot of money saved and wouldve went back to school and finished. It has its pros and cons like any other shelter, but the help IS there. If you have a problem with following rules, then yeah, youre going to have issues there. But in regards to help; youre fed, you have a bed, you have a place to shower, you can do your laundry and transportation is given(BUS PASSES). Youre able to take advantage of programs they offer for job training, counseling is there, guidance is there, saving help is there. Putting aside all of the cons, it is a good place for teens and young adults 18-21 with or without kids, Id recommend you go here. Even if you dont get a bed right away, if it is available, they provide emergency stays. Food, Shower, somewhere to sleep for the night, bus pass if you need it. Im speaking from experience. I highly recommend.

I’m so very greatly appreciative to the covington house if it wasn’t for them I don’t know where I would be I went to the shelter at home and 2007 I had two babies with no place to go no place to live and they help me get on my feet and I think it’s the best place for anybody that’s looking for a shelter they provide you with resources they provide you with meals breakfast lunch and dinner soap to wash your hair soap to wash your clothes they help you with so many resources I’m so grateful for that

Stayed here from February Intill April and this place was honestly terrible. The staff don’t care about anything at All. The rooms and bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Mrs Fatima was the most evil person I’ve ever met always kicking people out for no reason with no care in the world. DO NOT COME HERE

Great Place!! There might be rules, and regulations you don’t like or agree with however it does teach you about life (Get use to it).Mr. Greg was an awesome teacher, and because of him and the structure of Covenant House, I wouldn’t be 1/2 the Corrections Officer I am today.

Would not recommend at all. They allow a lot of things to happen and they don’t respect people’s feelings enough because they feel like they worked there for 14 years or longer that they seen it all so they could care less until a big situation occur. NOW THEY ARE CLUELESS look for somewhere else to go. They building is falling apart, they are roaches in bugs in the babies sits and molding in all the bathrooms. There are so much more but we would be here all day.

Dealt with this place in 2013. The staff are courteous and helpful in a not so courteous and helpful city. Homelessness is tough in Orlando but this place is nothing short of a gem for those under 21. They did nothing short of giving help and hope to youth in crisis. The program will put you in the right direction if you happen to be wayward and will keep you in the right direction if youre young and just hit a tight spot. Theyre great.

Good shelter for teens who are looking for help and is in need for a place to sleep but I wish they allow more then 2 over nights per-week especially those who are in need and don’t want to be sleeping on bus benches

I ran away and ended up doing an emergency overnight here. I don’t have any experience with shelters and it’s a good thing to at least be able to rest your head for the night but placing people on a flimsy mat in the middle of the hallway like some type of pet or something ? Like I said it’s good to be able to just rest your head until you figure out your next move but that wasn’t really pleasant honestly

I had the blessing to volunteer for them multiple times and got to see the amount of effort they do to support and serve the homeless teens. I really appreciate all what they do!

It is a place for mature, responsible young adults to get their life on track.

In the end they screw you over more than you can imagine. They discharged me, taking someones word on something without proof. They had my health insurance card, and discarded it without my consent. I was sent to the hospital, and had to pay out of pocket. I am currently in alot of debt, and all the process and money I had made during my stay there is forfeit. Thanks guys

I came here a couple weeks ago because I was homeless, and they took good care of me as an intake here, until this one bisexual sob started to have beef with me because he wanted to bully me there and I wasnt bout to take bo bullshit. So I almost fought this fool and then the next day he tried making up a lie and trying to say some bull that was serious abd got me discharged from here and on the streets. I tried explaining this guy was lying but ge got his friends to lie for him and my words were useless. I loved the chefs there as a intake. They can seriously cook like their professionals. But me getting discharged is the reason I rate it 3 stars.

Iv been there for 4 months finaly got kicked out because i wasnt following the case plannes and everytime i told them to tell the teens to stop fooling around they would just say. We cant do anything about it well try but you have to work with it. So i left and going to another shelter way better than that and the shelter i am going to is giving me housing soo thats what i thonk of the cov
