I really wanted to give this facility 5 stars, but I cannot because there have been a few issues that make this no longer an ideal gym to workout at. Firstly, when I bought the membership, Alaric was so kind, helpful, personable and friendly which is why I signed up. He is definitely a 5 Star ⭐️ sales person, and even better about customer service. He was the best employee they had because he was personable without being overbearing, and he is genuine. That was back in early summer.The actual gym contract is okay in that it’s fairly priced, and if you plan the workout around the rush hour busy times, you can usually workout without much interference or having to wait for equipment. The main constraints for the company are that they’ve closed some of their locations, making it less convenient for people who purchased a pass to any/every facility, and the major red flag 🚩 at the metro west location has been that for two months now they have not repaired the basic function of having their water fountains actually distribute water. Water. This is a gym. It would almost be humorous but that it’s an inconvenience. H2O is critical during a workout and after so much time going by without anyone on staff taking the initiative to solve this problem, a lasting impression of overall incompetence about the business as a whole is now my opinion. I have NEVER before been to any gym that didn’t have a working water fountain. It’s another layer of inconvenience.Additionally, some of the people at the front desk believe they’re being paid their hourly wage for their personalities. It’s very uncomfortable to walk into a gym needing to decompress, and then feeling pressured to have to be sociable with anyone and everyone working there after a long day of work. Only two people at the front desk are wise enough to do their jobs without behaving intrusively. They are both also personal trainers. Thank god for them and for their being able to read energy and not be fake or worse, passive-aggressive, towards the guests. I can only guess the attitude from the top-down in this organisation is to sell memberships for a year, so the contract is there, and then employees do not have to be accountable. Most of the employees seem to want to have a conversation or demand a smiling face from every guest, and that’s really not cohesive with the fact that I’ve counted over eight employees who work front desk and none of them seem to believe a working water fountain is something they should bark up the chain of command about. It’s total bystander apathy.Having been myself employed and trained by The Ritz Carlton, I’m simply not used to numerous employees acting negligently towards their facility which employs them, and by extension, their consumer foundation. A brand like that would instantly lose clientele and their ratings would drop. So unless someone or something in management decides to do better one day when he or she wakes up, my prediction is that within 5 years, 24 hour fitness may become a thing of the past. You cannot sell water to customers or retail products to increase your revenue by ignoring the basic needs of customers to have access to functional water fountains and still remain a quality, reputable fitness brand. It’s sardonic!There’s not much variety of fitness classes offered, because the membership numbers are lower than at Gold’s and LA Fitness, so my guess is the revenue isn’t being generated to produce a better group exercise program, so they haven’t. While it’s nice they offer some Les Mills formatted classes, it reminds me of 2012 when Lifestyle Family Fitness sold their facilities to LA Fitness, or worse yet, when Bally Total Fitness tanked.To end on a good note, the equipment quality and cleanliness are why I’m rating it 2 stars. The sauna works, the pool is open, and when I’ve gone in early morning, the facility is been in good operational condition. (Just… not water)(Facepalm) They’re on point for that!I look forward to the day they repair the water fountains so I may post a more succinct, and favorable, review.

What an awesome experience! Glad to know theres a great gym to go to when I come to town! Kristina was incredibly helpful and supportive.The gym is really clean, and was surprised that most were putting weights back in their places, or willing to let others work-in.

Very first day in the gym as a member I did the 1 year 425.00 dollars. It is a lot of money but I took in consideration all I see today and it was worth it. They have:1. Pool2. Jacuzzi tub3. Sauna4. Whole huge area of cardio and free weights5. Zumba Class6. Cycling ClassI see the staff was very nice there was today a lady and a gentleman when I went in at 3 pm to finish my sign up to the app they were very courteous I give them 10 plus I was very surprise on how clean the gym is. I didnt see anyone going crazy screaming or grunting or dropping weights which I was surprise and happy about it. It felted very comfortable the environment stablish in the gym so hopefully it stays like that through my whole year going there I appreciate their help today.

I was there this morning w my wife. She gat a free pass and then don’t her in cause they have a lot costumer 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the gym was empty. I am member since they opened but I decided cancel my membership. So. U lose two costumer at the same time . Apart they are not more 24 hours gym and increase the monthly payment.

So, I am elderly -- I went to 24 hour fitness (on Resource Ave.) because they have a contract with SilverSneakers. Despite the pandemic, no one was wearing a mask. When I ask them to put on a mask they said it was optional and they decided not too. I said ok and left. But Since they are contracting to serve a high risk population (elderly), they should be required to wear mask if requested. Too bad I was looking forward to using their pool.

Decent gym, but only one set of barbell clamps. ONE. For the entire gym! Cleaning sprays and wipes tend to be empty often as well. The steam room and sauna are amazing features that really differentiate a higher priced gym like this from others in the area (the monthly fee plus contract is double LA fitness with no contract and a functional sauna). Im pleased that the steam room and sauna have reopened and that the whirlpool is working again.

The staff was always perfessional nice and informational. The place was very clean. There was disinfection spray and paper towels handy everywhere. I took a guess and we had a ball. We cant wait to go back again. THANK YOU FOR HAVING US. M. Canty

If you have ANY intentions of using a 3-Day Pass, you will be swindled into PAYING for the complimentary day pass. Some excuses of corporate is breathing my neck will be ushered into the conversation, and you will either be turned away or forced to pay an absurd fee. In any case, DO NOT trust this company or establishment, because they do NOT keep their word.

I show up at 7am and nobody is here to open the gym. This continues to be an issue. They need staff who can show up on time. I sit here going crazy off my preworkout to sit in the parking lot. Tired of them wasting my money and my time before work. HIRE NEW TEAM AND GET RID OF THE ONES WHO DROP THE BALL.

Through these many months of the pandemic it is good for my physical and mental health to be a member of 24 Hour Fitness. The gym provides a clean and safe enviroment for working out with plenty of space, well maintained equipment, a friendly staff and thoughtful gymmates.

It has good facilities and is 2 minutes from my house but today I left there because they only work until 9 pm when they call 24 hours and even the saunas do not open them and in the other gym they are already open and if they are 24 hours and they are cheaper ciao...

This gym is wonderful. They have the newest equipment and it isnt crowded like LA Fitness. Great location next to Valencia and Walmart

WOWWWW! So, out of nowhere today, I received an email from the gym letting me know they are closing to their doors effective TODAY. Why? Because they could not come into an agreement with their landlord. Really 24hr fitness? You couldn’t even give your members a freaking notice?

I went to the gym with a 3 day pass. I was denied access because of the front desk started making excuses. This is false advertising, it never said they are not accepting passes. You guys should learn customer service from LA Fitness. Sincerely, another 3 customer you lost.

Love this gym! Trainers are amazing. I would recommend Devon Davis. Already have dropped 11 pounds in 3 weeks with a proper diet and fitness program! The management is amazing and the team is friendly. I love being able to come at any time for my crazy retail schedule.

Wanted to give a huge shout out to 24 Hour Fitness for closing the Kirkman location in Central Florida without giving any kind of notice to their members (I was even able to make a reservation that day to go to the gym, only to find out it was closed). Was at the gym the previous day and no staff member informed us the gym would no longer be open. Cant say I am surprised that they went bankrupt with this kind of customer service.

Dont have people to help spot you

This company is not what I thought it would be. Dont get me wrong the people who worked there are great but the company itself really blows. Their lack of communication is really the reason Im done with them. I have tried to cancel my membership for the last week because i just now get a notice saying they closed the Kissimmee Gym which was 10-15 mins from where I live. Now I have to go almost 30-40 mins to get to the kirkman or colonial ones and Im sorry but Im not driving that far nor spending money on tolls to get there. I have emailed, called and now I reported them again for the 2nd time to the BBB for the way they run their business and that they still take you money every mth but they wont inform their members on their decisions to close gyms that will affect their customers. They just still want to take your money. If i have to take legal action I will to get back the last 2 mths of payments. Good luck to those who want to join this gym.

A great gym to go to and bring your family. Obviously not the cheapest, but if you want quality you have to pay for it. Especially now in the time of this pandemic they clean the gym hourly and it makes me feel very safe at the gym

I was talked into visiting this gym instead of my own with a friend, seeing as it is right down the road from my house. My friend was under the false assumption that he had guest privileges which led me to ask about one day guest fee which is now $25 dollars for ONE day. Ridiculous. The young girl, Paola, then presents the option of adding an account that was $9, then $21, then $9 again. We clearly couldn’t trust the information seeing as she seemed very unsure herself. That, compiled with the price of one day admission, mixed with the smug look on the girl’s face that was apparent even WITH the mask, and as if she actually enjoyed the frustration and inconvenience she was causing. We ended up leaving confused and unnecessarily irritated just to remember we could get a free 3 day pass online, which I filled out in the car halfway down the road to fitness cf. We returned to the location to work out with no problem which ADDED to the frustration and confusion and wasted 40 minutes of our limited time when this all could be alleviated by her simply presenting this option. The unprofessionalism is what initially caused me to cancel in the first place and I see, sadly, nothing has changed.

Always great experiences here. Post-Pandemic is somewhat irritating at times but isnt everything? Staff is always friendly and courteous.

Awesome experience. I was in the Orlando area during the Christmas holidays to visit family. I signed up a for a monthly membership because it was cheaper than paying for a day pass every day for the 2 weeks I was in the area. Admittedly, it was my fault that I forgot to cancel the membership after going back home. I was charged for 2 months of membership dues. When I called in to cancel the membership the staff took care of me. They refunded my money, cancelled the membership and were very polite. BIG thank you to Nick for helping me out. They have a great facility and even better customer service.

I only tolerate this gym because it’s a minute away from my house and the hours are convenient. There are two squat racks and one machine of each, so you’re lucky if the equipment you need is available. 👎 Way too many cardio machines that don’t even get used. Most front desk clerks are friendly and helpful. The membership/sales staff are all awful. You shouldn’t only be respectful to new clientele, but be respectful to members, too. Since purchasing a membership, the sales rep that helped me has ignored me multiple times when I say hello and is rude when I do finally get her attention. Instead of faking respect to possible members, how about you be respectful to everyone and try keeping the few long-term members you have. You would think retention was a priority for a new location such as this one. Good luck staying in business.

Alexis is doing a great job at this 24-hour fitness gym. Very friendly when she greets members at the entrance. Hardworking re-racking weights and keeping workout area clean and tidy.

Kirkman rd Orlando! This place is everything you need. All new equipment and an abundant amount of parking. The service provided when you sign up is exceptional, big thanks to Sha’kinna Jones for the tour and being personable. Big ups to the management team and their staff for the service and cleanliness. Glad to be a new member of the family.

To start, I just go to this gym for cycling service, I go with my friends and they always take us out of the cycling room just because we have music, we have spoken several times with one person and it never helps us, it’s really horrible . That’s the only reason I go there and I cant use it

Mostly cardio machines barely any weight training equipment specially for legs.Upstairs restroom has been out of service for the last 6 months, for being a new gym I don’t think it’s worth getting a membership you are basically paying for treadmills.

Not very well equipped. 2 squat racks that are always taken, weights never racked, and if you have any bag of any kind on the gym floor you will be continually harassed by employees. Very disappointed and I will be joining a better, cheaper, more accommodating gym very soon. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I cancelled my 24 Hour Fitness membership. I told them I would if they did not stop broadcasting openly-racist Fox News. They did not call me back and the corporate office never responded to my email. Boycott companies that promote hate speech.

The place is nice and clean but crowded as expected for a gym near a college. Also, the desk clerk Emily is rude.

The new gym is the same distance as the SODO location and is hands down a different experience altogether (minus you don’t get a towel). They have state of the art equipment, everything is clean & tidy, AND WORKS! if you frequent SODO you’ll know assuming equipment works is a luxury, lol. They have CrossFit stuff, a great Ab/HIIT area, and a great sound system. Tons of parking and perhaps it’s new so it’s not as busy but I’ve never had to wait or scoot around other people - it’s just a pleasant environment and honestly it kept me there longer because of how much there is to do! Oh and their night spin class is awesome :).

I went to this gym twice with a free pass and they refused to let me workout without being escorted by a sales person. No sales persons were even working the second time I came. What a joke. I just wanted to workout with my three day pass and then decide. I would not return here.

Open 3 weeks now...too many things out of service. Difficult to check in (took 6 tries last time, and two today) Staff seems friendly-aloof. Going to give it another 3 week to decide if I cancel the membership or stay.

I’m not used to give reviews, but this 24h really disappointed me. I waited more than 25 min to take the tour and I had to leave to my current gym because I had already taken a pre-workout. Talked with the night manager to see if she could help me, but she said it wasn’t her department. I don’t think that’s the right way to treat new possible members.

Today I am very sad that I had to cancel my membership of almost a year. Some people vandalized the basketball court and did not let me in with my buddy, since I work out everyday with my son.

This goes to anyone thinking this place is good.I had to cancel membership because they changed the buddy system policy. They recently had a incident in the basketball court and this not being the first time these past 2 months they changed it so buddies could not acces facilities after 5pm and instead have to join. Manager working today gave me one offer yo add my buddy which was $39 dollars extra but my membership is already $55 and I have no idea where in hell they expect me to pull out $39 dollars. My opionion this place really has horrible management.

At last they opened the sauna and the steam room and closed later the facilities are optimal they have improved since the last time I came.
