Called to help locate a leak in a very difficult area, spent 2 hours searching only to guess incorrectly where it was leaking. If I followed their advice it would have required reframing a load bearing wall...but felt their expert Tony wasnt sure of anything.$325 later his location service incorrectly located the leak in the wrong spot...over 5 ft away from actual location. I found it by simply pushing on drywall, it was very obvious the wall was spongy, and started punching holes in the walls till I found it. See the images.I told Brett via text he didnt find the leak, and sent photos showing him where the leak was. No refund offered, no apology, and I am out $325 for a service that was rendered useless in finding a leak.UPDATE after reply from business. NO REFUND received. I included a screenshot of the TEXT I sent clearly telling them it was inaccurately located. It wasnt copper (iron stains on PEX). Clearly we can see from photos and communication whos story is accurate.

Our living room was leaking severely but only on extremely hard rains. Orlando Leak Detection came out in November. They “diagnosed” the issue. We paid them for their services. We then paid the contractor to perform the services they suggested. Since then we haven’t had any super hard rains since it was mainly dry season...until yesterday when it came down extremely hard. Sure enough, the issue was back despite us doing what they said and paying all this money. A water restoration company came out last night and said their diagnosis was clearly inaccurate. So I called them back and asked them to come back and take a look. The gentleman I spoke to, I believe the owner, completely refused to send anyone back. He said in a followup text “We can not keep continuing to go out there when I know you havent done everything that he told you was an issue.” Continuing to go out there? Um you mean a second time because you were completely wrong the first time and we have spent a lot of money? And he knows we haven’t done everything he told us? Well guess what actually we did do everything you told us and gave the exact description of what they said to the contractor. Then he said they only come back up to 3 months after and not 5. I mean come on, really? You get it totally wrong and instead of owning it and showing some customer service and sending someone even for a few minutes to take a quick look, you just try everything you can to avoid doing it.I’m sure the owner will reply to this and try to defend every ounce of it; and I get there are always “two sides to every story,” but the easiest way to sum this up is - we paid them and they were inaccurate in telling us the problem, we spent more money hiring people to get a job done they told us to have done that did not fix the problem, and then us asking them to swing back and take a look was made out to be this absolutely absurd request.I hate leaving bad reviews, and pretty much never do, but when you are a business and you take people’s money for a service, then make a mistake, just do the right thing and put the customer first.

I was having some warm spots on my tile floor and was concerned it was hot water leaking from somewhere. I called Orlando Leak detection and schedule some time for someone to come check it out. They were very professional and following covid protocols. They did some work and found out there was a leak in one of the pipes. Got it all fixed before it could cause major damage. Thank you yall!

We are a property management company with more then 25 years of taking care of properties. We have a community with several five story condominiums . Several months ago after a new roof was installed a leak was discovered on a third floor wall and leaked of course to the second and first floor homes. Obviously creating damage .The roofing company came out and couldnt find a problem . While we checked water meters and it appeared none were showing water pipe leaks. We found a discolored piece of drywall on the fourth floor near where the leak was appearing. The roofers came back out again . They were certain it wasnt their issue. We called Orlando Leak Detection and they came out the same day and were on time. They went into each home and were very professional with home owners. This problem was upsetting everyone involved as it had been continuing now for over two weeks. It was leaking into residents homes . The tech had equipment checking inside walls for moisture content. He had a lot of experience apparently. He found the starting point of the leak after about a hour or so behind a closet . We were amazed on what they found. When the building was built a drywall installer screwed a drywall screw into a copper pipe inside the wall. Just the tip was in the pipe and it took 8 years for that screw to rust and start leaking. Not happy with Orlando Leak Detection. I have a leak in my house and contacted this company to locate where the leak was coming from. He was here for maybe 30 mins and $350 did not locate the leak. He suggested for me to call an AC guy or Roofer and that was about it. I am more dissappointed I paid the full price for no results. A roofing company was able to determine where my leak was within 5 mins of being in the same space the guy from Orlando Leak Detection was in. It was a siding issue in which I have to call someone else which is fine.I tried to contact the company this morning and ask someone else to come out and was told they would call me back and basically hung up without my providing any of my information and no call back.Very poor service, port results, and poor customer satisfaction.Response to owner - You did not call me as I had no missed called or voicemails nor did you confirm my number prior to hanging up in me. And your tech did not locate the leak! A roofing company did in which I have to call someone else to repair. Poor service!!

Service was fine, and they detected the leak as advertised, but the guy handling the phones is extremely rude and petty. Considering leak detection services are a dime a dozen in Orlando, I would chose somebody else. Youll probably get a better price too.

We had a leak coming from our garage and office area. We had this company come out to detect where the leak could have been,they said they found it and told us there would be a radius of the area. We had someone come to fix it but after ripping our floor out and drilling into the cement foundation of the house the leak was not in the location they stated! It was a waste of money for them to come out. They basically took $325.00 to come waste my time and have to spend more money fixing holes in my floor.

I cant speak about the business itself but whoever is driving the company van over in Lake County today should keep their eyes on the road. Veering over the double line onto oncoming traffic, changing lanes at the last minute at a stop sign, and sitting at a green light looking at a rug vendor on the side of the road. When I reminded the driver the light was green with my horn, he then flicked me off as he was pulling away. I threw my hands up at him and mouthed the words well your not paying attention where he in turned slammed on the brakes to try and get me to rear end him. Classy guy.

However, my experience with this company has been nothing short of an absolute nightmare and I deeply regret the day that I ever called them for their services.As I am sitting here writing this review, my family is without running water going on for about a week now, I am out almost $1,000 and the outside of my home is destroyed due to having my house torn apart to fix our leaking pipes. I was in much better shape before I ever heard of this company.Due to Hurricane Irma, the pipes in our house sprung a huge leak and we had to turn the water off because of how high the water bill would be if we didnt. I read the reviews on here and decided to go with Orlando Leak Detection to fix the leak in our home. They came out and promised that we would have running water by the end of the day. I paid them to detect the leak and they in turn called a plumbing company they partner with to come and fix the leak they marked. I paid that company out of pocket as well and soon after they left we realized that the leak was not fixed at all. We called them back and they claimed that there is nothing they can do and that they fixed the leak that Orlando leak detection showed them and that there was a second leak under the house that was not detected. They suggested we called Orlando Leak back to sort this problem out.Upon calling them I spoke to a woman named Maria/Mariah who claimed she was the head manager and there was no one in a higher position that I could speak to. She was rude, condescending and incredibly patronizing. When telling her of my distress of having paid them to do their job and it was not done, she yelled at me and continued to say how old our house was and that its not their fault. When I asked her how is it possible that it isnt her fault that they didnt detect a leak when we paid them to do so, she would not give me an answer. Instead she insisted that we pay an extra fee for them to come out and do the same job we already paid them to do.We do not have money growing on trees to continue throwing away on this untrustworthy company. And even if we did, we wouldnt give them another dime. They are nothing but crooks and I am supposing that this alleged excellent customer service is only being given out to certain people because I have never in my life dealt with such a dishonorable, despicable and criminal business.I also opened up a dispute with the BBB because there is no way a company this treacherous should be able to go around tricking people with an A rating.People like me rely on these reviews, and its not right to hide the truth only so they can continue to scam hard working Americans out of their money.

$500 seems pretty steep for just detection without fixing. If you are looking for a company to detect and fix the problem for much cheaper, hire a plumber. Also, if you are looking for emergency services this isn’t the place. I called and was told the soonest appt was in three weeks. Good thing I was able to get a plumber out here to detect and fix the problem for just under $250 in one day.

Hurricane Irma decided to give us some water leaks upon her arrival and so once the storm had finally passed we immediately were on the hunt for a water leak service. We called Orlando Leak Detection the day after the storm had passed and they were able to get someone out to us that very morning! Brad was able to determine the location of the leak within 30 minutes! Im in the plumbing trade and finding a leak at some of my customers houses can be very difficult. Ive used several leak detection companies before but Ill never use another one again other than Orlando Leak Detection. Instead of me breaking and cutting all over the house I called them. I thought it was under the concrete slab but Orlando Leak Detection found it in a wall and minimized the damage that would have occurred if I had not made that call. Everybody was happy especially the home owner finding out that it was least amount of damage and cheaper calling leak detection other than finding it the old fashion way

I highly reccomend this company. Leak dectection can sometimes be tricky. Finding the leak and pin pointing it out right away depends on how large the hole is in the pipe under the slab. If you have several leaks where one is spraying and one is a drip every 1 minute it can be tough to find. The technician that came out explained all this to me. It is cheaper to repair a leak than to repipe the house.
