Been going there to deliver for 8+ years. Cant recall a time it took less than 5 hours to get unloaded. It would take the same time for us to eat the load. Staff is fine though.

Sign on gaurd shack. Check in one (1) hour before your appointment time. Checked in two hours & nothing was said. Wear a mask they scared of cold/flu. Lumber fee, you must bring your own checks. You would think they would supply checks since they are shaking down the suppliers. I just processed a efs check for a driver that had a t chec number and warehouse or other drivers had no blank check. Sad. You dont want to supply blank checks accept credit cards. Next time this load comes up Im shaking the broker for extra money. Burris Logistics in Connecticut is sweet. Staging area before & after delivery if out of hours. And they ask you if you need blank checks. Difference night & day.

Even if you have an appointment time, itll take sometime to get you a dock. Then you have to wait couple more hours to get unloaded even if you had to pay lumper fees!

One of the best places I deliver to, security is courteous and friendly (even to outside drivers like me.) Same goes for receiving. Unloading times are great, and their lot is easy to navigate and back into docks. Best experience other than doing drop and hooks.

Decent time on unloading 60,000lbs of juice drums, people were cool. Be early for your appointment, front guard is cool but old and slow.

Pretty good overall. Let me on property early, checked in at 7pm for 8pm appointment. In door by 730, empty in about an hour or so. Only 4 stars because of the amount of trucks constantly moving around in the dock area. Staging area is directly across from docks and drivers are moving about like they have no common sense.

4 hours waiting they still like old school paper cheques required for lumper charges and they are hefty.

The reviews are true, they take all night to unload! Arrived one hour and fourth five minutes before 9:00pm appointment. departed at 4:05am. This has to change, management is fully aware of the problems.

Worst place to deliver got there at 6pm got a door at 10 opened reefer doors sat at the door till 5am when they finally started to unload me. Missed 2nd drop was at 4am its 6am and there still not finished. after all that they still charge lumper to unload 4 pallets in 11 hours and mess up my whole day..

Professional operation. Check in at guard shack. Park across from dock. Walk papers into receiving. They call you to go to dock. Two hours later. You are ready to go. They use lumpers.

Nice people but unloading is slow! One way facility. No overnight parking on site. However! Theres an abandoned warehouse about ¼mile away at>> 1491 trade port drive

Took me early out in 1.5 hours before my appointment and its a nice place friendly the gate guard was very nice and so was the check in man.

Check in was a breeze, the security guard on duty 7-10-21 at 1800 was very friendly! My appointment was at 1900, they put me in the door at 1900. My trailer was unloaded in under an hour. I never got the text message saying they were done so I went inside at 2130 and they had my paperwork ready..Be sure to bring a comcheck or your preferred payment other than card or cash.Overall a good experience

Accident Detoured off I95S and was 1hr late. They said it was all good I had 1 hr grace period. Parked. Checked in. Given a door in 5 min. Unloaded in 45 min. Out the gate 45 min later. One way facility. Plenty of room out front to back up. Seems like a well run facility.

Friendly G.S. but they are extremely sloooowwww for papers after green light and the door closed more than 30 minutes waiting. Forklift will go in and out like is a highway be prepared to be bouncing inside your truck they just dont care. No overnight parking.

3 stars because their employees are friendly. They will not let you in earlier then one hour before appointment time. No overnight parking. No parking at all. I would recommend stopping at one of the rest area’s. The service stops are always full.

Sat in line for over an hour before I could check in, just to wait 5hrs to get unloaded. Then, when they burned through all my hours and finally finished, they kicked me off the property.

First of all Ive been here several times and its generally not that bad. But this particular time Id give 0stars if I could I arrived at 2200 for my 2300 appointment time checked in was told they would call when they had a door for me Im lucky I actually went to sleep waiting because at 0430 they called the guy calls says someone just gave him my paperwork to unload my truck back into the door lol I get backed into the door and its been another 2hours and they still havent started yet its 7 hours past my appointment time with the full load still on my trailer lol 0stars is what they deserve

Not sure why all the bad reviews? Got here 60 minutes before my appt time. Immediately got checked in by the nicest and most professional guard Ive ever met. The receiving office guys immediately gave me a door. Id come back here with no doubt. Maybe all you cry baby steering wheel holders should try to be professionals. Wear pants. Put on closed toe shoes. Take. Bath!

Well it wasnt that great for me. Came here at 7pm, my appt was for 8pm. Took them 3 hours to get me on door and then extra 2 hours to unload. And they had like 7 open doors and only 5 trucks on docks.

Very decent place to deliver. However, you cannot check in until 1hr before your appointment.

My experience was not all that bad. I got there and the process of checking-in with the security guard at the guard shack was very smooth, fast & instructive. He will give you a step by step instructions on what to do next. Once you’re parked at the staging area they have in front of the docks, you go to the drivers entrance located between doors 17 & 18. You hand them your paperwork and you wait for them to call you with your loading/unloading door. They took 2:30 minutes to get me unloaded completely, so I guess it is what it is, you can’t control what is out of your reach. The lumper fee was not that bad either, just $140 dollars. I might come back here for another delivery, just so you know your best chance of finding a safe place to park lies with the rest areas nearby. Loves truck stop was full.

First one to check in and last one to check out. Don’t take credit card still in the 90s asking for a t check. 4 hours to unload 4 pallets.

SUPERSLOW!!!..arrived at 19:00.waited until about 12 midnight to get a door. They didn’t start unloading until about 1 a.m...and I’m still sitting here at 2:15 a.m!...

Night shipper is so rude and no respect for drivers. They charge $5 extra if we dont have cheque and i was ready to pay but shipper was still mad on me for no reason.

Pitiful. Its taken over 3 hours and I still havent been called to tell me that Im done. The truck is empty and Im sitting here waiting. Im 60 years old and I could have done it faster than this with a pallet jack. If I couldnt do this any faster Id quit. Oh and they have the nerve to charge a lumper fee for this excellent service.This is a follow-up I got here at 6:40 p.m. and now its 12:15am and they just called me telling me that one of their clerks had done something wrong with my paperwork. However they were happy to charge me the $165 lumper fee that they wanted.

I think I was in and out around 3hrs, But the when you come in and park right across from the docks is small especially when other drivers are moving around trying to park and dock at the same time.

Terrible because the recover was careless he left one pallet standing in the trailer on top of a loadbar,Wich caused me to have to backup after checking the inside,not realizing the right side door swung open crushing the door against the building,causing the trailer to have a broken door,very careless unloader first time in my 30yrs of driving this has ever happened causing expence

Everyone is nice . But I have never been here less than 5 hours . Ever . Currently an hour passed my appointment and not even in a door . I Went in to see what’s up and the guy told me there were still three people ahead of me . He was nice about it but pleasantries seem hollow after a few hours .

Security guard was friendly. Name, phone number, trailer, tractor, and who you drive for on the bills. One way in, one way out. Dim lighting on other side of facility (lower dock numbers). Other than that, no overnight parking although there are a few options in the area (paid).

Have No Problems ! Friendly peoples ! I alway come much earlier than my appointment because i have multiple stops and they always trying to do their best working me in !

These guys took 4 hours to unload 3 pallets and the hook that latches onto the back of my truck malfunctioned and bent a piece of my lift gate and they don’t want to accept any responsibility I mean look at the low ratings they already have before I even posted this Owner operators stay away from these guys worst place I’ve ever delivered too and I’ve been everywhere up and down Florida

Showed up at 10 PM for a 11 PM delivery appointment was not given a door until 6 AM the following morning seven hours for a dock I remember now why I didn’t come back to this dumpster detainment completely unnecessary no excuse will not be back again

It’s impossible to get hold over the phone so dnt waste your time. Try to set up early delivery appointment and end up no response as per my broker.......Spend 3 days waiting here....Offloading was an average time but they didn’t charge me for lumper but give me the offloading receipt for $160.

Pull up to guard shack they explain in detail what to do. Take a right once you get in the gate then immediate left part across from the doors, this is staging area. Walk paperwork to receiving door 17 and 18. Its well marked. Wait for them to call you with a door. You will be here a minimum of 3 hours to unload and count. They will call you with lumper fee. Drive back to staging area go in with lumper fee. They dont accept cash or credit card. The give you paperwork drive around building roads are one way stop at stop sign by gate walk exit pass to guard shack then they let you out. Its really busy and sometimes you get a door and two other trucks do too. Just be patient you will make it thru. Nice room to back up to door as long as some one is not stopped in front of you in front of the doors blocki g you as a lotof them do. Its organized but the do heavy volume of trucks so takes a bit to get unloaded. They are nice and professional and I believe really try to get you out of there.

Staff was pleasant enough, but INCREDIBLY slow. Had an 11pm appt. Called into a door at midnight. Didnt start unloading me until after 2a.m., and finally got out of there around 4:30am for 14 pallets.

There really isnt a number to rate this business. Its a total lack of respect and integrity for clients. Absolutely all the staff from the entrance gate to the people in the office are rude, daring and without any degree of education. Unfortunate for the owners and hopefully their customers would see this so they would not buy from them

Just my experience.It’s totally up to you HOW you present yourself and talk to people.The security gentleman (Calvin, if I remembered correctly) is a GEM of the company. He is such a nice and helpful guy.Since it was my first time delivering here, he made sure I understood the route to take so I don’t have to park blind sided. How awesome was that?Burris needs more people like him.The gentlemen inside the office were awesome as well. I was early for my appointment but they still gave me a door in less than 30mins.Unloaded and handed my paperwork in a timely manner.More power to you guys and i will definitely love to come back to deliver here.

Arrived at 830 pm for a 9 pm appointment and got out the gate at 0215 am for a 1/2 a trailer

I am positive there are worse places than this one, but the guard was pretty cool down to earth guy. The rest of the place is a joke. Only 2 pallets and nothing else is on trailer so no excuse for sitting in the door for a hour and 45 min then wait on paper over another hour... maybe everyone else will have a better experience. Not bad at all. Receiving hours start at 1900 so arrived at about 1830 for an 2000 appointment. Checked in @ the guard shack and was sent to staging area. Checked in with receiving office and was put right in the door. Got unloaded and received bills by 2215. 👍🏾

I normaly only rate if your really good or really bad. Just giving info. You have a grace period of 1 hour if your running late. After that its gonna cost you $125.00 or $150.00 late fee. No matter how many hrs your late. Nothing bad to say.

Had a 2300 appointment; Arrived at 2204. Well let’s start out by saying it was my very first time at this place and was scolded and nearly “sent to the principal office” by the old school Haitian/Jamaican dude at the gate bc I slightly passed the stop sign. The other guy inside the shack was really nice. Well to go on from there didn’t get called to a door until 0200ish. Got to The door and had to wait an additional 2 hours for unloading. I’ll blame it on the COVID-19 as to why things went the way they did. Not sure if I’ll be coming back. Hope things get better. Oh and sorry “Old School” for just barely passing the stop sign gesh!!!

This place is a joke,for unloading 1 pallet they charged me 100$,I usually hire lumpers I understand it’s a hard job but it seems like at these place they lack common sense,also they don’t accept credit or debit and if you wanna get cash you are not allowed to drop the trailers and they advise you to go to the nearest ATM at 7 eleven which is a regular gas station good luck with your 18 wheeler parking there legally, so if you can’t get in touch with your dispatch or your broker at 3am and you have a full load based on there rates you better wait till your bank opens in the morning

Take 4 hours for one pallet. And charged 100 dollars and bring your own check. This place is horrible. Management need to read all comments how people give them lot of respect.

So I’m working on 5 hours here. My appointment was at 0300, I arrived at 0227. I checked in and followed all protocols. At 0715 they called and finally put me in door 5. It is now 0800 and unfortunately no one has started unloading. I am the last truck left. Why does it seem to happen when you’re trying to go for hometime. I’m a patient man but jeez.

What a nightmare! Still waiting to be unloaded 2100 appointment I arrived plenty early now well after midnight finally depart Burris Logistics 0243. Burris Logistics tells me I have flowers and theres no room on their dock for such a complicated shipment even though the flowers are neatly packaged in cardboard and placed on pallets. And Im the fool here on Saturday night/Sunday morning waiting for these clowns to do their job.

Make sure to stay in the right lane when checking in, do not go into the left lane unless your a Burris driver, there is no signs saying which side to be on, also do not come way early or they will have you pay an early fee and a lumper fee, overhead this with another driver while checking in.

6 pallets to deliver takes all night. They should never complain about their salary . They do a horrible job . Do not deserve even one star. It took 2 months for someone to respond to the review kkkkk what a joke

This is my first time making a comment for Any Place or business. This is by far the worst pace I ever been over all 48 states. Everyone in the office is completely Rude. All truck drivers are not bad. We go through a lot out here on the road. Any load given from a broker to come to this place I will turn down.

My experience wasnt bad at all. A minor problem arose when I was checking in with my delivery, but was handled quickly. I was given a door in about 30 mins, and unload was fast. Security at gate was very nice and personable.

Arrived at 6PM, had appointment for 7PM, had door by 7:16PM, trailer was full to the doors and was gone with paperwork by 9:30PM. Nice staff and no problems.

If you dont want to waist your time,dont take burris load.

If not busy they will take you in earlier than the appointment time.

So its high 90s since I got this load with 4 stops and yea I have to own my doors. So I need to write a explanation to why my load went above the temperature supposed to be at. Then order of fully loaded trailer doors can stay shut at all times until they reach youre facility!!

09/09/2019 had an 8pm appointment. Didnt get a bay till 830. Was unloaded with only 4 pallets on the truck and got the green light by 915. Been sitting here since with a green light for over an hour. The receiving guy was in there playing video games when i first checked in and waited to finish his video game before he even acknowledged me. Thats probably why i am now waiting over an hour after having a green light and having already been unloaded for over an hour. So whoever is reading this in management maybe you should review whoever was in receiving office at this date and time. Unprofessional
