As many tourist going back home i tried to exchange the last 200 dollars that i had.the guy at this spot tried to scam me for 100 €please stay away from those scamsthat kind of place should be banned

I pre-booked the exchange. The website immediately gave me a pin code and reservation number. However when I got to the airport they have no idea what a reservation is or how to look it up. The lady behind the counter, who honestly appeared drunk, just kept saying different rates. I am from the country this is in and native to the language. Alcohol is the only thing that can explain the behavior. Honestly hilarious.

We arrived to the airport and went to the booth to exchange our money for the Costa Rican currency. We wanted more information before committing to the exchange. The lady was not very helpful and was a bit rude. We asked what the current rate was and she kept going around that question and never answered. Do not exchange your money at the airport!

First time there. I was able to exchange my currency without any problem. About the person assisting me, she was busy and distracted in something. I think she should be more attentive to the customers. I felt that I was bothering her.

Outbound, we exchanged dollars for euros. The person in the booth told us that if we exchanged more, theyd guarantee that theyd buy the excess back at the rate used on the day of our initial exchange. We said no, we had a late return flight. No problem, she said! One of the other booths at MCO was open 24 hours a day! So when we returned, we passed the original booth, which said the same thing and told us where the 24 hr booth was. We went there: nobody in the booth! We called all four phone numbers for Interchange at MCO; no answers. So we went home. The following day, we called and were told we could come in. No, we explained, we live in Tampa, and asked for the manager. Oh, shes off for the weekend, we were told. So . . . I dont know if well ever get our money exchanged at the rate promised (and with no fees, as promised). But I have a sneaking suspicion weve been had.
