Baxter Restoration was recommended by our insurance company to do mold remediation. They had to build a huge mold containment unit, gut a bathroom, remove drywall, and tear up part of our hardwood floors where there was water damage. Luis Santos and Chris Potter came everyday, on time, and with great attitudes. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and precise. They made sure all mold was gone, all damage was removed - and did it neatly - all dust and debris staying within the containment unit. I feel they did a superb job. When the air quality company came to do the tests after the demo was done, it passed the first time. I will be using Baxter Restoration to complete the job - the rebuild - which will include flooring throughout the house, painting, and the bathroom that was affected. I will review again for that team. So far, so happy to have chosen Baxter Restoration.

Baxter Renovation was recommended by our insurance company after a tree fell on our roof. Mr. Santos and his assistant Yurik-Tarp were at my home early the next morning to cover the holes on our roof until roofers were available. They were there during bad weather making sure my home was protected. They also came back the next day to make sure the tarp had stayed secure during the storm and to check water damage in the attic. Mr. Santos and his assistant then brought in drying equipment to prevent mold in the attic and walls. I was very impressed by their professionalism and work ethic. Excellent service!

Alan Correa and his time were on time to help with our mold removal in our AC closet. He was continually communicating to me each step along the way. He was very thorough the entire time making sure he removed everything, while also making sure he didnt remove more than necessary. They set up an area blocked off very professionally so that the rest of our house did not get dirty at all. Once they were finished they cleaned up and it is spotless. Margaret in the office was fantastic communicating to us each step along the way. I have had bad contractors before, and they have some of the best weve had. I was very impressed with the entire team.

We contacted Joey about mold remediation for our home. He was very communicative throughout the entire process. The team that came out to do the actual remediation was super fast, and we passed the post-test with flying colors. Everything was perfectly done, clean, and FABULOUS!

I had a water leak in my master bath and needed emergency assistance. The team at Baxter jumped into action and showed up quickly to begin to assess and remedy my problems. Baxter Restoration came to my house after it flooded from a broken washing machine. They did an amazing job. Alan C. and his crew came on time everyday and worked very hard all day. There was water damage and mold found from the flood. They cleaned everything up and took such great care of my belongings when having to move stuff around. I would highly recommend them! I came in contact with Baxter Restoration through my insurance company for bathroom repairs. This companys professionalism, work ethics and quality of work was the best, starting with Valene Rivers, the Compliance Manager. One call to her for any concerns or questions always got addressed pretty much immediately. An added bonus, she never failed to make me laugh :). Naomi Clements, the Field Supervisor was the best! She worked closely with me in choosing tile floor, shower wall, etc.Her knowledge in her field is unmatched! I want to give them a five as the remediation work is amazing. They were so thorough and very professional. The replacement of the floors a complete disappointment. I made the mistake of signing the satisfactory sheet before they finished as the quarter round was left to do and they are absolutely ugly. not cut right. I did complain at the time but it was just like eh you already signed we are good to go. The estimates were very confusing. The replacement of my flooring was not a good experience at all. Especially for the over priced over head that was charged. For remediation definitely go with this company. Go elsewhere to have the replacement done.

They did excellent work on interior work & re-siding our house, if additional issues were found - they came up with solutions that worked for us. They were responsive and had excellent communication with us. We were living in the property while work was being done and felt that they tried to give us as much privacy as possible. I am a very satisfied customer status-post water damage to all three of my bathrooms at my home . After interviewing a few restoration companies, I choose Baxter Restoration because of many good qualities. Their staff members Michael McKeeby was the first staff who visited me and fully expressed his professional knowledge of this company. Mr. McKeeby later visited and explained the different types of floor tiles- and later sent me large variety samples of tiles and cabinets via e-mails. Later he provided a smooth introduction to the Supervisor of the project- Naomi Clements, who explained the procedure of the project and how it was to be completed. Ms. Clements did the supplies ordering and had them delivered immediately- although at times there were a few challenges to get the requested order. (COVID-19).I understood my home was not the only home restoring occurred at that time, yet I was updated with all the happenings of the job. I had an excellent experience when I asked Baxter to provide a detailed estimate for mitigating mold damage and doing other necessary repairs on a house under consideration for purchase. Our closing was in just a few days and so I needed extremely fast turnaround. This was provided with thoroughness and professionalism by Baxters Joey Sullivan. Also helpful was Tangela Moore who referred me to Joey (the right person) quickly. I would not hesitate to get back to Baxter in the future.

I had a very smooth process with Baxter Restoration. They were very responsive to help mitigate my initial water damage. Val in the office worked with insurance to help push my claim along and was very good with explaining the entire process. Margaret was my construction advisor and was very responsive during my re-construction. The crews were on time, were quick, and did great work. Overall, it was a very easy process.

The team that came to my house for a few days to remove the damage found from a water line that broke was beyond professional. The full 1st floor was damaged and the team took hundreds of photos documenting the damage. They were fast kind and respectful. They were all clean and careful with all of my / familys personal belongings. Every evening they would put all my tables and items back and would spend roughly 30+ min cleaning up the work site before they left. Our house at night (although in shambles from the flood) was vacuumed, and cleaned so living in the construction zone was less painful to me and my family. They went out of there way to ensure small measures of safety were preformed like keeping a 1 cut of wood before the carpet started to ensure no tac nails would stab my / my familys feet. They would tape and clear tarp off areas (like the cabinets that were removed) to ensure no wires and pipes were easy accessible to my children. They kept the countertops attached and cut wood so we could still use the available areas in our kitchen. Zero tobacco use, zero foul language, no music etc. was used on or around my home. I could not be happier with Cindy and her crew ( Jose, Cleber, Douglas, and the 2nd Jose from Peru).I wish that this team could do the rest of the jobs since I feel so confident in there abilitys as well as there physical attentiveness to detail. They truly care about there customers and did everything they could to make us feel better about the situation. I pray this never happens again, BUT if it does, I WILL BE calling Baxter Restorations again!!

Overall they did a good job and their work was thorough. I did feel like I had to keep on top of things in that they would say they’d call at a certain time but then they didn’t. But I don’t think they were negligent, just busy. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Water damage stinks, but having to deal with the restoration was made just bit more bearable with Baxter. Valene Rivers was great at coordinating, always called back or got info when I needed it. There were instances of miscommunication with the PM a few times but it got cleared up quickly and overall its been a few months since repairs and things are still looking/working great.

We had a pipe break in our shower, which caused some major water damage in the adjacent closet. We called Baxter and they came right away and ripped up the damaged flooring and brought in the industrial fans and filter to dry up the area. My only complaint is that it took some time to actually repair the walls and the floors, but I know there was also a hold-up with our insurance too. However, when I called and spoke to Val, she made sure to expedite the process in anyway she could. Margaret and Sean were also great to work with. Once they finally came in to do the work, it only took about 2 days, which was great!

Baxter Restoration LLC completed my home renovations which included, Mold, replacement of floors, fireplace and chimney, and roof. The head supervisor (Mr. Dwight) for the team of workers came out and assessed what needed to be packed and stored in a climate control storage. They went above and beyond and took such good care of my furniture and belongings over almost 4 months and returned all items unbroken.The mitigation and restoration crew (I cant name them all) but they were amazing. Nick A., Naomi C., Dwight, Gilberto, Ivan, Joey, Justin, Valene were the main employees that I dealt with throughout the entire process.The fireplace and chimney came out much nicer that I had envisioned. Gilbertos handy granite work added the glam touch. The tile floors look so professional and flawless. While there were challenging moments and confusion because of the magnitude of damage, the final outcome has been fabulous. I receive many compliments on the results. A lot of time and effort was given to this project, however, I appreciate how I was allowed to express my concerns and gratitude throughout this project.I also have to thank my insurance adjusters, they were amazing as well. They stayed in constant contact with me and assured me they would be there for me.I commend each individual that was involved with restoring my home after such terrible water damage was discovered. Baxter Restration is a company to stay away from. Within the last couple months after our water restoration and rebuild was completed we received a phone call we needed to pay the mold portion of our bill immediately, which keep in mind, we were never told the dollar amount that we might need to pay if our insurance company didn’t approve it, therefore, we are in a legal nightmare now. This is all because of poor communication. Baxter restoration was only our friend when needed to sign over the insurance check and then months later a lien was put on our house because of a bill I was never even aware of until recently. Basically, in a nut shell, we received a surprise bill they filed in secret without even telling us and now we have to hire an attorney. This is very unfortunate.

I really appreciated the grate work that was done to get rid of the mold that was in my house. The work was done deligently and efficiently . I would definitely recommend this company.

Mixed emotions about my experience with Baxter Restoration. Baxter as a company was fine to work with but the subcontractors that actually did the work were horrendous which ultimately reflects poorly on Baxter. Gabriel Diaz, Baxter Field representative, was very patient with my outburst about the shoddy workmanship that was done in my house and he rectified the major problem which was my floor. The subcontracted, subcontractor had no business stating they could lay linoleum. Who thinks it okay to have huge air pockets, debris pushing up through the flooring and seeing the crack in your slab that was not repaired before you laid the new linoleum? Really? I give Gabriel credit, he listened to his flooring expert and immediate set about getting a new company in to repair the floor. There were numerous delays but the new floor was finally laid and I can give full credit to Peter, the workman, for knowing his craft. He was meticulous and paid attention to every last detail. Now I have a smooth floor with clean lines. This is what customer expects when repairs are being done in their house. It is not about rushing, it is about taking care of the customer.

My insurance company sent baxter out after a hail storm in my area that caused a leak in my kitchen. When they arrived at my home, I was not there, so they called me and emailed me a document that I digitally signed so they could have permission to go on my roof before I got home. When I arrived at my house, Miguel and his crew walked the roof with me and explained what they would be doing and also educated me on some other common things to be aware of after a storm. After installing a tarp on my roof, they inspected in the interior damage and again educated me on some things I was unaware of after storms. I feel like they went above and beyond to ensure my family was taken care of.

I had a water damage at my house and Baxter Restoration was the company sent by my Insurance for the mitigation process. The mitigation process was done by Manny and I was so glad with the work he has done and the professionalism which made me to hire them for the reconstruction phase which was handled by Craig. In spite of me telling them the timeline to finish the job as I had 4 year old and a 1 year old, they enormously took longtime to complete it. They gave false promise about the completion date and I also feel that they are overpriced. Other negative remarks that I would like to register is the improper handling of their subcontractors. Some guys were pulled out middle of the day for other work sites. This resulted in delay of completion. I requested Craig that I should speak to Dave Baxter(owner). I didnt receive any call from him for 10 days. The irresponsibility starts from the top and so nothing could be done I guess. He in fact called only when I said that I am not going to make my final payment. I gave my feedback to him and he has an attitude of It is what it is and nothing can be changed now.I strongly dont recommend them for any reconstruction project.

We are grateful our insurance adjuster referred us to Baxter Restoration as they were top notch from start to finish. We were so pleased with the first phase of their work that when it came time to select a reconstruction contractor we had no hesitation in continuing with Baxter Restoration. Moreover each of the subcontractors (mold remediation, electrical, plumbing, construction and painting) involved with our home were excellent! We ended up with a leaking kitchen sink. I called Baxter restoration and they have taken care of everything. They are a quality company!

Placed tarp and sand bags on roof in June. Completely disintegrated in July. They blamed this on inclement weather. Sand on roof, solar panels, pool deck, and in gutters. Tarp and sand bag debris in yard and landscaping. Baxter refused to come clean up the mess. Home owners insurance company finally got Baxter to clean up their mess in OCTOBER!

My family was referred to Baxter by my grams insurance company due to a house fire, the initial start off was going good with the mitigation department, Cindy and her team of professionals are the only thing that has remotely saved Baxter reputation in our eyes, once the clean up and removal of burnt things were removed and the new construction team took over it became a nightmare, I have over 20 yrs experience in construction myself and tried to impart to them I know what it takes to do the job we paid them for and how long the job would take as well, they have dragged their feet on everything and are a month and a half behind schedule and has been one lame excuse after another, I have had to cross departments to get some type of results and if it werent for Cindy in mitigation we wouldve fired them...if you need clean up done from a flood or fire they handle things quickly but DO NOT let them do any new construction /rebuilding ....take heed to this review and save yourself from the headaches and hassles and go with another company

I got put in contact with Baxter Restoration thru my insurance company ASI. I was completely expecting them to just go along with whatever the insurance company said however, Nick and Valene both went to bat for us and our recommended 9 shingle replacement became a whole new roof. I was amazed at the amount of damage done below the shingles and I am so glad that the team at Baxter had my back since day 1. The subcontractor who actually did the work at my home did an excellent job and even left the crew foreman’s cell number Incase we need to get in contact with him.

We had minor flooding at our home in Clermont and our insurance company connected us with Baxter Restoration to complete the restoration and reconstruction. Val Rivers was our main contact person at Baxter and she was fabulous! She kept us informed throughout the process and answered all of our questions. Hugo was the first on scene to start the restoration process. He was very thorough with his inspection of the area of our house affected by the flooding. We also dealt with Santos during the restoration process. He too was very thorough. They did not rush the restoration and ensured our house had completely dried out before moving on to the reconstruction phase. Once our house dried out, Nick Anderson assessed the damage and developed the repair estimate. Baxter submitted this directly to our insurance and let us know once the repairs were approved. Once approved by our insurance, Matt Stottlemyer organized the crews to complete the repairs. The crew that completed the work did an excellent job! Even though the work was completed, Val and Nick are continuing to try and help us out and try to get one final request on my part approved by our insurance company. We dealt with a number of other people from Baxter throughout this process and everyone was friendly, knowledgable and thorough.

We subcontracted a few jobs for this company, Its been two months since we finished there job, still havent paid us. Very Very slow on Paying for completed work. Seems very disorganized, project managers who dont hand in invoices to get paid, Excuses, Excuses. We just need to get paid. We have no desire to do any more work for this company.

This company was provided by my insurance company through their managed repair program. After 3 failed appointments (car trouble, rep sent to the wrong appointment, cancellations) I should have never moved forward. The subcontractors they used were terrible and NOT qualified. They had to come back a handful of times to correct their mistakes. The project manager was equally useless. Do not use this company.

Was referred thru my insurance for a water claim on wednesday. They called me and supposedly sent the paperwork via email allowing them to work...i call back the next day now 24 hours after the flood...to which im told they didnt get the signed paperwork back. I never recieved it i stated to the rep joey...so he resends it and miraculously it shows up the second he sent it...mind you this is 11am thursday. I get a call later that afternoon saying they would be at my home at 2 on friday...i said ok and took a half day of work to make sure i was available. Come 3 oclock, I call them to find out where they are...Joey there tells me they meant between 2-5 pm...and that the tech is in Kissimmee and had a very busy day...he continued to say that the tech would be to me in about an hour. Now im just frustrated, I politely say ok and waited...now at 530 pm i called back and the office is closed. So I call my insurance back to ask if they heard from them...nope. So now my floors will likely be ruined as its now almost 6 on friday evening of labor day wekend. Way to drop the ball, i would give you zero stars if I could...i pray you never have to feel the vunerability having to depend on a company that flat out implies your not worth even a call to cancel. I will make sure you never work with progressive and will take every opportunity to let others know how yoy conduct your business.

I never had to make an insurance claim so when my kitchen fridge leaked water and damped my wood floors I didn’t know what to do. My insurance agent recommended Baxter and I went with them.The wood floors were warped and any competent company would have removed them as you can’t dry wood floors.Baxter didn’t enclose the kitchen and just brought some huge dehumidifiers that raised the temperature of my house to almost 100 degrees. My entire house.. my air conditioning was running the entire time which skyrocketed my electric bill.In About a week they finally removed some of the drywall which had build some mold because it wasn’t removed right away.. they removed some floor but left many wet pieces and by that time the subfloor shown signs of being also wet..The whole time they keep claiming the machines would dry the wet subfloor and wet floors..I hired a floor guy who told me there is no way those machines were NOT going to dry the two layers of subfloor and the wood floors.I noticed there was white and black marks which looked like mold.. so I hired a mold accessor and he told me my subfloors were still wet and he found mold growing on my drywall and my subfloors using micro cameras and infrared cameras that showed where the floor was still wet weeks later.Baxter’s should have come in a removed all wet floors, subfloors and the drywall from day one. Instead they placed these huge machines which pretty much did nothing and probably spread mold around my entire house.Almost 3 weeks later BAXTER finally started removing the still wet floors, drywall and some of the subfloors. However, when they removed one piece with black mold.. they immediately stopped and said they couldn’t continue because they weren’t trained for mold removal or something like that.This whole time my kitchen and house weren’t encapsulated. It wasn’t until they saw the black mold that they finally got around putting plastic barriers to separate my kitchen and the rest of my house.I told my insurance agent that I no longer wanted BAXTER at my house and I was going to hire my own remediation company..In one day another company came in and removed all the wet floors, subfloors, wet floor boards, wet drywall and sprayed an killed mold around the kitchen and under the subfloors.BAXTER made my wife’s and my life hell for almost 3 weeks!! They also delayed any wood floor work or reconstruction as the wood floor Guy couldn’t start any work until the remediation was completed. Which took another month or so.I told my insurance company that they shouldn’t have paid them but they did anyways. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. So please stay away.

I scheduled three appointments with Abbee Baxter to get a quotation on a mold remediation project and he was a no-show. The first scheduled no-show, I left a voice mail on his cell phone and he did not return my call. When I reached him the next day, he asked me why I didnt call his office. He stated that he was not available and didnt have a replacement to do the quotation. The second appointment, he did not have any identification to get through our guard gate and we again rescheduled the appointment for later that evening, which he failed to show up again. I tried calling him on his cell and texted him, which he read and ignored. Very, very unprofessional.

My HOA hired this company to restore our condos after a fire. The fire was in July. It is now November and nothing has been done in my unit. All I hear is one lame excuse after another. For example, last month they told me that they couldnt do the work because they had to apply for a building permit and it takes weeks to get one. I called the city, and it turns out they never applied for a building permit and it only takes 2 days to get one. Every week they say the work will be done next week. And then they encounter a hurdle, and instead of working through it, they just go home and dont communicate with the customer. I would never hire these folks, and I wish my HOA would hire someone else.

Horrible, they never show up. A 3 day job is now going on 1.5 weeks! They flooded my entire downstairs ruining the flooring. They ripped up half of it, and havent shown up in a week! My house is a disaster. They always have excuses as to why they arent here and promise to come the next day, then they dont show.
