I was impressed by their quick handling of my dilemma. I attempted to do the flooring myself and failed miserably. I needed the flooring done to get the home listed and told them my timeframe which was less than a week. They moved some things around to make that happen. The four man crew that came out worked all day, each day, to get this job done. The results were nothing short of amazing. I am a part time flipper and I will use this company over and over again. Great flooring company! Lucas and his crew came into a mess of a project, as I had to fire the original company that started my floors. With the tile install having only been half way completed, they finished the install of the flooring, including what the first company started.The workers showed up on time every day and stayed in constant contact with me to ensure I was 100% pleased with the work they were doing.When the job was completed, I noticed a few things that needed some attention, and the crew came back to immediately address these items.I love the new floors and they look awesome. I really appreciate how the crew took care of the floors that they installed as well as the sections the other company laid. Excellent experience.

BEWARE. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Street laborers with no experience were used for finish carpentry work. Erratic timing and behavior by the project manager, terrible attitude and completely disorganized. Had to constantly check the work to make sure it was done properly. They claim that you cannot ask questions or “bother” them, but when the quality is below average and in your own home I did not allow them to continue with the poor quality of work. Constant quality control or risk having to live with terrible results.I even bought lunch for the crew a few times in order to push a bit because Alex the project manager was constantly playing games and hanging in the truck with his girlfriend. He would show up twice a day for 5 minutes and leave.It all culminated with them threatening me with defamation, which left me no choice but to kick them off the job completely. I had to get my attorney involved to get them to back down. This company is run like a bottom tier juvenile gang, stay away.I’m sure the owner Sara will respond to this in a nasty way because judging by the other reviews and responses, she clearly can’t control herself.

I worked with Alex to having my ugly carpets replaced with wood like tile. I can be a really picky person with tons of questions and they were more than accommodating and answered every single question I had. The floors look stunning and were completed right on schedule. I called this business twice - on Monday, May 3 and left a detailed message and on Tuesday, May 4 and left a subsequent detailed message. It is now Sunday, May 9 and no one has returned my call. It is so incredibly disappointing - especially b/c I just endured a major plumbing repair which has taken over a month to resolve and I am finally at the point where I can have the floors replaced. I do not know how to install floors myself (I also wanted to ensure the concrete was level) which is why I depend on companies who advertise their services to do it for me. I do not recommend trying to contact this company - it appears they arent interested in new business/clients.

Alex and the woodruff team redid the tile work on my shower.  The project came out far more beautiful that I ever expected.  As a transplant survivor, I was very happy with the Woodruff team because they always wore masks and took precautions to keep the area safe and clean.  Alex even sealed the tile afterwards for free to preserve the glass work of the tile and to it easier to keep clean.  Very Happy and pleased with the work!

We own a vacation home in the Orlando area. We recently took up the carpet to attempt to install tile ourselves and quickly got in over our heads. We could not find anyone in the area that could do this work in a timely manner, so I extended my search and contacted Woodruff Floors. Our experience started with great communication that progressed through a job I was easily able to manage remotely. They provided pictures and advise along the way and timed the project out to accommodate us between renters. I love the way the floors turned out, it was worth every penny!

Called to have some old tile removed. They arrived early, were fast and professional, the price was reasonable, and they kept the dust to a minimum.. I would use again.Came back to update my review now that my bathroom tile is done. The guys did a great job on this one for me...pleasure to work with.

I absolutely do not recommend this company. The floors came out decent due to the workers. However, the owner Alex, is the rudest and most unprofessional person I’ve ever met. He yelled at me, stuck his hand in my face, left my house a mess, marked up the wall, and was extremely unprofessional the whole time.Excuses. Alex may be a manager not the owner. His name is listed in other reviews as well... either way he works there and ran the show. My spouse’s name is on the paperwork, still my household. I was there the whole time. This is not fake or false. Unfortunately it’s the truth.

These guys have done several projects in my house..theyre always professional and do excellent work..I would not hesitate to recommend them for any flooring or tiling work .

The woodruff team did a wonderful job on my new kitchen backsplash. Alex is something of a perfectionist and it shows! You can definitely tell he’s had a lot of experience in tile work! We had them install a little mosaic above the stove, which involved a lot of detailed cuts on delicate glass tile. Alex even had his team re-cut a couple pieces that weren’t up to par with his vision. Everything is very well lined up and evenly spaced out. Overall, I am very happy with the finished product!

We are extremely pleased! We needed to install new hardwood in our home (about 1000 sq.ft.). We were on a tight schedule since we were looking to list our home fairly quickly and we appreciated the willingness to work around our schedule. They did an awesome job and the quality of work is great.

My kitchen floor suffered some water damage, and Woodruff Floors came to my rescue! Within a few days, they were able to come to my home and take measurements and discuss the different options as far as materials were concerned. After taking measurements, they gave me an estimate on labor, and even made me a list of materials I needed to order with the amounts. When it came time to install the floors, they did an amazing job! They did an excellent job communicating with me either through email or text regarding questions I had and where we were in the process. I hired Woodruff Floors to install my hardwood floors and it was by far the best experience I have had with a contractor. They contacted me in under 24 hours after I reached out for a quote on their website. Met me at my house the same day and walked me through the process. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the hardwood I chose. If you need work done this is the company you want to work with.

Alex and the woodruff team were absolutely amazing. We had 2 teams in the house working on various parts. Alex and the woodruff team were working on our bathroom, while a different company was working on our kitchen. Alex realized the other team was using the wrong saw on our glass tile, causing poor quality and many wasted pieces. He lent them his saw at no charge. I thought that was amazing. At the end of the kitchen project we ended up hiring Alex to correct the shabby work done by the other team. I now know more about tile than I ever want to know, but the quality of Alex’s work is spectacular. All the lines are 100% parallel, the cuts are all perfect. Now anywhere I go all I see are the imperfect tile work done elsewhere. But when I come home the perfection of our tile work fills my heart with joy.

Woodruff Floors did an AMAZING job. We love the subway tile backsplash and our herringbone floors!!! We will definitely be using them for future projects and we highly recommend them. Woodruff Designing and Remodeling was the third company we spoke to for getting estimates to completely replace the carpet in our home with laminate flooring. I wish they would have been the first. I found them through their so many positive reviews online and decided to give them a try. We are so glad we did! When I scheduled our first appointment, they sent out their installer Alex to give us an estimate. I really appreciated the education he gave us on the various types of laminate floors. His demeanor was professional, friendly and honest. I had read reviews that say they are not ”pushy and the reviews were exactly right! What I appreciated most from that first visit with Alex is that he did a full measure of the areas, calculated, and gave us an exact price. With Alex we knew from the very start the cost of the job. I dont often write reviews, bu after experiencing the service and quality work that the guys at Woodruff gave me, i had to let everyone here know how great they are . I just recently started remodeling my home and was looking at options for wood flooring. Sara was very nice and helpful assisting me with my questions and goals. They also showed me different materials that could achieve the look i was going for, and at a excellent price. I ended up getting a beautiful looking floor for my home, that exceeded my expectations. If you are in the area and you are looking for a contractor give them a call !

I dont know if I can actually recommend these guys to do installations. Thats because they didnt install my backsplash.For a 20sqft backsplash they wanted $59 for 25lbs of grout (why do I need all that), 3.5gal of mastic (again why?) and $650 for labor. Yeah no thanks I can find people that will do an incredible job for half that cost and not try to screw me on materials and labor.

I recently had a new kitchen floor and 2 new bathroom floors installed by Woodruff Floors. I was impressed with how helpful and friendly they were when picking out our floor and answering all (A LOT) of questions. They came and measured everything and answered my questions concerning the installation. I am very happy with the finished product and our installer Joel did an outstanding job!

Arturo was awesome when he came out to give me an estimate on my new hardwood floors I needed installed. He came out a few days later and installed hardwood that covered most of my house. It took him a couple of days, which I thought was fast since he was alone. He worked about 12 hours each day and got it knocked out. My floors look awesome! I would recommend him for anything you need done!

It was an absolute wonderful experience working with Woodruff Designing and Remodeling.I had recently purchased tile from Home Depot and was looking for an installer to lay it. It was a little difficult to find someone in the area who would lay tile that was purchased elsewhere - so I am very glad that I was able to find them!They were regular communicators throughout the entire process and let me know what to expect regarding scheduling, timing of job, materials, etc. Everything was very detailed and laid out for me prior to the installation which I couldnt have appreciated more.All in all, the work looks great, the price was right, and the service side was more than I could have asked for.

Woodruff Designing & Remodeling just replaced the icky carpet in 2 of the guest rooms in my house with a beautiful 12 mm laminate. The results are truly amazing. I couldn’t be happier with the install, the guys were extremely fast removing the old carpet, and installing the laminate. They were clean, and kept the saw dust to the bare minimum. The price was affordable, and they were very kind about working around the big pieces of furniture, so it wasn’t too disruptive for us.

After contacting five contractors, four came to the house, took measurements, provided quotes, and explained their process. When I finally decided to remodel my home with hardwood floors, Woodruff was my first choice as I had heard great things about them from close friends! Their estimator seemed very disinterested in taking the measurements for our project. After a week we’ve never heard anything back about the quote we requested. It’s just as well - I’d never hire a company with such poor customer service.Edit (7/13/2020): After more than a year the company has responded to say I’ve confused them with someone else. My phone records from the time (April/May 2019) indicate I exchanged calls with the number shown for this business. That’s all I can prove.

I usually don’t write reviews… I have good intentions but never seem to get around to it, but I felt the need to do this one.I had another contractor hired to replace tile in the kitchen, foyer, and all bathrooms before we listed our home to sell. He was a no-show!!Very long story short, I called Woodruff Floors and the reception I received from their staff along with the quality of work they performed is the reason that I felt the need to post this 5 star review.I was amazed at how fast they removed the old tile and how they removed all traces of the adhesive. Alex and his crew worked for hours getting that floor up; and it shows! The slab was left so smooth that it was like nothing was ever there. They covered all the appliances, countertops, and cabinets with plastic beforehand and the dust was minimal, nothing I didn’t already anticipate. The price was comparable to other companies in the area and I liked that I didn’t have to hire multiple contractors to have the flooring removed and then installed. The workers were a great group of guys; courteous of our home, arrived during the time frame I was given each day, had professional demeanors, and were obviously experienced.When it came time to install the tile, I wanted small grout lines to make it ‘blend’ into the grain of the tile. They made them almost unnoticeable! Very impressive work and certainly worth every penny.Our home was on the market for only a few short weeks before getting a contract. It was previously listed a year earlier with everything but the same floors. Needless to say I am using this company for tile and bathroom renovation in our new home.

Based on my experience I cannot recommend Woodruff FloorsTheir contractor promised me my floors will be done on October 31 and they never even showed up that day despite me calling several times, when they showed up the next day they discovered that there was one T molding missing, they are using this to blame me for the floors not being done but even if the T molding was there they would not have finished on time as they never even showed up.They did a terrible job on my floors, there are T moldings cut incorrectly, the stair is uneven, there are pieces of quarter round missing, and they did a terrible job around my fireplace, the laminate is chipped because of the sloppy cutting, and you can see the mat underneath.Although I would prefer to have a professional company come fix it but they insist that because of the warranty they are the only ones who can do it. Despite my hesitation I have made several attempts to reach out to the company to have the floors fixed, I have emailed and called and have not received a response.Do yourself a favor and don’t spend thousands of dollars on a company that will do a sloppy job and then ignore you.

I hired Alex six months ago to redo the tile in my kitchen. Woodruff Designing and remodeling provided me with excellent service. I did a lot of research on who I wanted to go with to have my carpet removed and my hardwood floor put in. I could not be happier with the outcome of the job that Woodruff Designing and Remodeling has done. They showed up everyday, on time and always made sure we were happy with how the installation was coming. A huge thank you to Alex and his crew for working hard everyday and for doing a wonderful job on my floors.

I hired to do a complete rip out of old flooring and replace with tile. They left the debris in my driveway for over a week taking the debris one pickup truck load at a time. and scattered debris on my lawn I just replaced with new sod. Which killed the grass I had to replace. I still find tile in my lawn.They said they hire someone to clean which cost $350 although my house was still filthy. Dust everywhere. The workers left old tuna cans in bags and don’t bother to throw them away.They removed doors and never rehung them.After telling them the trash needed to be removed since the HOA was hounding me they still didn’t get it and threatened a lean on my house since I wasn’t going to pay for an incomplete job. They eventually got the debris.Extremely unprofessional and a nightmare to deal with. Flooring looks good but not worth the hassle.

I received an estimate from Sara to remove and replace tiles in two small bathrooms (124 sq feet) on Thursday and to start the job on Saturday. Alex came by on Friday to confirm measurements and was extremely critical of the prior workmanship and bragging of his many certifications. The job was based on a price per sq foot and I would supply the materials. After Alex left I was informed by Sara the price would be $1200.00 MORE than originally quoted that is $7.00 more per sq. ft. than originally quoted. The job was to remove and replace tile. Very simple. No extra prep, no extra materials.This is not an acceptable practice.In response to the owners letter:You stated that add’l prep work was needed, clips, proper Durock and sealing. The job was quoted in two bathrooms (124 sq ft) to remove and replace tile with 1/2 Durock and if sealant is required in bathrooms for the integrity of mortar that should of been included in the quote as well as the clips that are required for porcelain tile over wood floors. This is your profession as you claim to be a seasoned installation company therefore you should have know these details when you gave me the quote. Instead you chose the day before the installation to let me know that the you more than DOUBLED the price. To also clarify I didn’t do the job two times with an inexperienced contractor as you are claiming in your response. I had two different jobs done with two different contractors. Apparently you think it’s good practice to undermine previous installers to justify your companies practice of quoting $ 900.00 for installation and the day before changing the price to over $ 2000.00.In response to Woodruff:We never had a written agreement but oral agreements are just as binding by law in Florida. You offered to come on Thursday one day before Friday when Alex came. I was originally told by Sara that you were not available this weekend then by email she wrote “ I spoke with the team and they would be able to start this weekend” I rearranged my schedule as a single mom to make this work and as you stated to my original response “ If you don’t have enough money to hire a licensed and insured contractor that has the knowledge to install your floors properly, you recommend saving enough to do it right the first time” I did until you more than DOUBLED the price. You also stated in your response you could not predict the materials you need until someone sees the floor, it’s standard for a bathroom install for sealing and clips. I was buying the materials and hired you to only do the install at $ 9.00 a sq ft. as stated by Sara your account manager, $900.00 not over $ 2000.00. When an estimate goes over a few hundred dollars that’s different than over DOUBLE the price. I am also a professional, licensed and certified in the State of Florida and bonded.The bottom line is nobody has called me to discuss this with me or have tried to come up with a solution.

We had a wonderful experience using them to completely retile our home. Ralph and Alex really took the time to listen to my wants and needs, and made sure that everything went as planned. After numerous phone calls and promises to fix flooring that was installed by Arturo of Woodruff Designing and Remodeling one return with an inadequate fix and a promise to return which has never happened. Poor customer service and without a proper fix I am subjected to an incomplete fix that was left by Woodruff which is a piece of flooring that you can stub your toe on that wasnt like that until he repaired another piece of flooring all installed by this company. Arturo I would be happy to rescind this if you would fix the floor.

I highly recommend Woodruff Remodeling. They just finished installing my new wood plank tile and it looks great. Im really impressed with the quality of the workmanship and will be calling them next month to tile our backsplash

I recently hired Woodruff Design and Remodeling to remove my existing carpet and tile; then install wood look tile and new baseboard. I am completely satisfied with the results of their install. I would highly recommend Woodruff based on my experience with them.

I had the worst experience of all time with this company. Alex a.k.a Arturo, comes into my home representing himself as a real expert and has an assistant with an I-Pad selling away. There website and most likely fake google reviews tells a trusting story about this company. If you google the husband and wife (Sara) duo, you find that they have had many flooring companies in their name with similar horrendous experiences. Unfortunately, I am another victim of their scams.Right out of the gates they were a no show on the first day keeping us waiting to let them in the house. The second day they said they were going to be there at 8am and showed at 2pm. They started the floor removal process and didn’t finish removing the adhesives from the floor for a proper prep to receive new tile. They also did not level the floor or use the leveling clips that were discussed. In addition to that they used the lowest quality mortar that was not sufficient for the large format tile they were installing per manufacturer. Furthermore, they caused damage in several areas around the house. When I questioned why they were deviating from what was discussed, they abandon the job with my 50% deposit.Stay Away from these con artists and do your research on the owners and their past company names. If you have done business with them I would recommend having a 3rd party inspector review their work.

I called this company a little over 6 months ago to come out and give me an estimate. He came out the next day and gave me an estimate to paint the interior and exterior of my home, travertine for the living room, kitchen, and hallways, wood floors in the bedrooms, and a new granite counter top for the kitchen. It took them almost 2 weeks to complete the entire project; 3 days for the paint, 2 days for the granite, and around 5 days for the travertine and wood. He explained to me that the glue for the wood had to take time to dry, what temperature the house had to be at for the installation, and how to care for the travertine and wood properly after it was installed. I appreciate Arturo’s patience with us throughout this entire remodel.

WE WERE DOING A KITCHEN REMODEL AND USED WOODRUFF TO INSTALL OUR BACKSPLASH. THEY SENT OUT ONE OF THEIR INSTALLERS TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE, HE TOOK THE TIME TO GO OVER ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD, PRICING, PATTERNS, AND MADE PURCHADES ALL OF THE CORRECT MATERIALS. THE COMMUNICATION WAS EXCELLENT, WE WERE ALWAYS SURE TO BE UPDATED ON THEIR PROGRESS EVEN WITHOUT PROMPETING THEM TO DO SO.

Installers were great and entire process was quick and easy.
