Company was very nice to work with. Came out three times to make sure the insulation was the way I wanted it, (wanted white pulls on the doors, instead of black…) very good financing. How much more is it new windows, Lowered my insurance rates.

Although we had to wait longer than estimated to have the supplies come in, it was worth the wait! The gentleman who did the work in both our bathrooms knew what he was doing. The plumbing was especially well done. Plus, he even did some things we requested despite the fact that they were not in the contract. The work was accomplished in the time we were told (3days for each bathroom). The work was flawless. We never had a complaint. The bathrooms now are gorgeous. We love them!

Sebastian and Andre were amazing. Our master bathroom turned out better than we imagined. Andre was wonderful with our schedule changes and my husbands dr appts.

Lauri was amazing, she explained everything with great ease. Now I trully understand how everything works, when It comes to the guarantee and all the services thats provided.

They were very polite, hard working and professional. They always cleaned up there mess, each day. They treated you like you were family and had you walk and inspect the job, to make sure you were satisfied, before signing off on the job. They had to come back and do a repair on one window and they were quick and efficient

It is no secret I needed new windows, house was built in 1982, so the windows werent near what they used to be, single pane, very thin and energy inefficient. My wife noticed a sign on the yard of a house by the neighborhood and we decided to give them a call. Because the COVID-19 lockdown was in full effect, we had to leave a message. We got a response back within the hour and schedule an in-home consultation. At the beginning we were going to fund the project ourselves, but after reviewing the cost, we were going to be a little over budget, specially since we already had other projects in the works. Chad was very helpful and advised us to use Ygrene, which we did and had the project funded. A month an a half later we had our Energy efficient impact resistant windows and doors. The crew they sent were very professional and organized. They worked in harmony and as one (as they were three guys and each had a specific task) They took pride in their job and left the area better than how they started with, attention to detail was their forte. Windows installed one year ago. Held off commenting as I wanted to see how yhey held up. Absolutely no issues with quote, permitting, install & cleanup. Appreciated that in the quote they said what they would do and when it came to install they did what they said. Very professional. Very good cleanup after install including complete caulking and sealing. Will have them back for some room modifications - and maybe install a bay window!

The company resurfaced my kitchen cabinets almost 2 years ago. I was happy with everything from looks to work service. I called them back to get a price quote to do the counter tops this time. I have been pleased with my interaction with Dennis this far.

So last week someone from FHIA remodeling was going door to door in our neighborhood soliciting for new business. I understand that and building new business. However the guy who was going door to door was absolutely rude and had to ask him to leave because he kept knocking even though we had a sign next to front door signing no solicitation. Turns out several people in our neighborhood had same experience. I would hope they would do something about their approach and who they send to people’s homes and hope this is not their typical way of doing business. Since at least 7 other neighbors had same experience I hope they address it!

We used FHIA for our new windows with our remodel. David and his team were excellent and they were so helpful with finding solutions to fit our specific needs. Our house was built in the 60’s and had some funky window openings, so they were a huge help! The install was timely and super professional, and our bill is definitely much better. Will definitely use again!

We purchased replacement doors and windows from FHIA in 2018. In mid-2021, our primary door developed some issues with the lock mechanism. I contacted the manufacturer for repair instructions, who contacted FHIA on our behalf. Sadie, of FHIA, called and said a service call would be required. An appointment was scheduled within a week. Yoel Rodriguez showed up to replace the lock. Both Sadie and Yoel were extremely polite, professional yet friendly, and conscientious. We’ve been very pleased with the customer service of FHIA.

Laurie, was very personable and professional. She explain to my wife and I the differences with the windows and frames.I feel more Knowledgeable about purchasing replacement windows. I can tell she was being transparent, which i like.

Be aware if you ask them to give a quote for anything they sell your phone number to other companies and you get at lease 10 calls a day. I have called 4 times asking to remove my number from their directory and Im still getting calls. I wish I had never called for window quotes which ended up being double the price of all the other quotes I received.

Had a great experience with FHIA. Started with the initial meeting and that excellent service continued through installation. The person I dealt with for the consultation was very knowledgeable and thorough. They measured and got me a quote and timeline. They got the work completed ahead of schedule. The installation was unexpected. I thought there would be a lot of cleanup afterwards. To my surprise they did the work by sealing off each section and cleaning up as they went. Even did some touch up paint where needed. Windows and doors are excellent also. These windows exceeded our areas wind mitigation needs, dont have to board up for a storm, provides excellent insulation properties and reduced outside noise. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FHIA and their services.

The windows are great and the basic installation was done in two days. I was impressed with the installers attention to detail. But there was a scratch on one of the windows. It was over a month of phone calls and scheduling mishaps before someone came to make the repair; then another 3 weeks for them to return and do the final detail work. Everyone I spoke to was kind, but it all took too long and was too frustrating. A job that began in mid October was finally complete in mid December.Response to businesss owners comment: Thanks for asking how you could make things right. From start to finish we were very impressed with FHIA. Every person we worked with was exemplary. Communication was spot on. The installation was expedient and accurate. All professionals installing the windows. I highly recommend FHIA. One side comment, when the county inspector came to check the job he said FHIA has no complaints and as he went to each window he commented “ they really do good work”.

Excellent company

Here is my honest review. We had Hurricane Impact Windows installed in our 1976 home which had the original single pane windows.SALESThe sales person was knowledgeable but did not know every detail of the installation. That could be improved. The install crew was professional and took care to minimize the mess. After all it is construction so you can expect some dust. There was no post install follow up. For 17K we would expect a post install inspection by the company. The sale people can be a little pushy and persistent. We had a prior sales person that pressured us to make the sale and they use tactics like you must do it today to get the discount, etc. They should focus more on giving good information and refrain from high pressure sales tactics. Focus on security, less noise, add value to your home, save energy, possibly get a lower insurance rate. etc.INSTALLATIONInstallation is sub-contracted out to one of their trained and approved contractors. The two guys that did our install were great. They showed attention to detail and tried to minimize any mess during the construction. There was just some dust to clean up but not too bad. They were friendly, answered any questions, and did a quality job. They worked very hard. Installation took just one day.COSTThe price was on the high side. 17K for 5 windows and a sliding door. However, the windows are a lot better quality than you can get in the big box stores.SAVINGSWe did shop for new home owners insurance after the install and saved 1,000 on our annual home owners insurance. So far no difference on the power bill cost at all. Every home is different. We do like the added security it gives us. No one can break these windows and the latches are very solid. The glass is solid sounding when you tap on it. If you want to see how strong this glass is there is a great video on YouTube of someone trying to break into a home in South Florida. The crooks get tired and just give up until police come. That is a testament to these windows.ADVANTAGESThe possible advantages of these windows are:- Less heat from the sun getting in - TRUE - you can feel the difference- Energy Savings - possibly depending on your home. We have not seen any decrease yet. - MAYBE- Insurance Savings - get a new wind mitigation after and you can save. TRUE- Less noise - yes we notice less noise- Added Security - Yes you cant break these windows - True- Federal Tax Savings for Energy - we could not find any current programs.THE MISSING PARTWe ended up doing the doors ourselves since the cost would have been much more thorough FHIA. They need to work on the cost. It was way too high. Overall though it did enhance the appearance and value of our home. You can get solid impact doors from lows (no glass) for about $200 each and the install is not too hard to do.FINANCINGThey did offer financing options. We took advantage of their Y-Green program and didnt have to pay anything upfront out of pocket. It gets billed to us with our annual property tax so that was a plus. Of course you can pay it off early. If you take the loan full term it is very expensive.POST INSTALL/SERVICEWe did make one post call after install for service due to the slider being difficult to latch shut. We left a voicemail and never heard back. Spending this much money I would hike to see someone from FHIA do a POST install test/visit.THE VERDICTSo there is room for improvement with FHIA but overall they are a good reputable company and the windows are top quality. I would recommend them.

We just had our windows done yesterday! Installers came in before scheduled time which was a big plus and a little after 230pm they were done. And they did an amazing job we are thrilled. Next project will be our doors. Can’t wait! Cesar was our sales person and Dee was our installers. A big thank you to all!!!

We started with windows 3 years ago and love everything about them! The radiant barrier has cut our power bill in HALF! Today were doing the front door and all these years later with Victoria Minish who sold us our windows. Says a lot about her as well as the company she works for that shes still there. I would use them again if we ever move and recommend them to everyone all day long!

Very unprofessional I am trying to contact the service department I keep leaving voicemail nobody returns the calls now you cant leave voicemail because the voicemail box is full. I try to call our regional manager and he doesnt answer either and you cant leave a message for him because the call get transfer to the main number. I wonder if I choose the wrong company. If this happens after a hurricane I will take months for them to answer.

We had all the windows in the house replaced yesterday . The team Rafi, and Vicky wore identifying shirts, had a copy of our work order, and introduced themselves and said what they were there to do.They were early for the appointment, polite, and very professional ( in actions and language).They cleaned up as they went along, and answered any /all questions we had. They explained the process before they started, and as they progressed. They were done with 9 windows by 12:30....the time the team gave me as an estimate.I would certainly have them do work for me again.

Called to get an estimate on replacing our entire roof; we chose FHIA because they were part of the PACE program. I never made it to the actual estimate because they insisted (on a recorded line) that both my wife and I be present for the 90 minute Sales Presentation (quote from the reps, not me). With the dozens of homes Ive renovated, Ive never needed 90 minutes to get an estimate on a roof. Since when did the Time Share industry expand into roofing??2019 0822 edit - Called the number for Tat, interesting that the VP of Sales has a generic voice greeting on his mailbox? In 25 years of working with corporate execs, Ive never met one who didnt have a custom greeting included. Ill report back if I actually get a follow up call.

The crew of Cesare, Carlos and Jose came on time to install our new countertops, back splashes, cabinet doors, drawers and refaced framework. Do to the complexity of the work three visits were needed. Each time Jacob at the shop kept us informed in advance and the crew showed up on time. They even reset our outlets and switches plus reinstalled our sink and reconnected the plumbing. A job well done at an affordable price.... like we have a new kitchen at half the price of starting from scratch. We are very satisfied.

The field manager, Sabastian Sachez showed great concern for what was going on and if there were any concerns that we might have. Its pretty hard to critize work that is done properly. Staff knocked at my door and didnt gave any identification. He told me to be aware of trucks in the area since they are working on some windows. When I asked which home he didnt know. Very suspicious. This happened in Sandslake hills Orlando

I was told by the rep who came out to do my estimate that the company wouldn’t do my estimate because of the current mold situation. The person on the phone said I needed my wife present and I told them I would try but it may not be possible. The person who came out to do estimate stated when the remediation of our mold situation was completed. The representative said the company would give me a quote.I called the company to get a quote they will not do an estimate unless my wife is also available. She is unavailable and we’re trying to get this done this week or ASAP. We aren’t even living in the house due to reconstruction.When I called today the scheduler said that wasn’t the reason the quote wasn’t given but that my wife wasn’t present.I am ready to buy windows now so I am going with another company. We have missed enough work with the hurricane and the resulting damage. I missed work to meet with the representative that came out and gave me the bad information.If policy can’t be bent I should not have been told a different reason for not being able to do something.

Made a Appointment and they never showed up. No calls nothing. Must not need the work. So when my wife called to tell them never mind they asked if we want to reschedule. Hell no you couldn’t keep the first appointment

Once again I ask for an estimate from this company. First as a bathroom estimate, which took 3 calls because they said they never received a confirmation. I talked to them on the phone and told them my wife will be home, that was solved after third attempt. This time I ask for an estimate for the roof, talked with the sales person at BJs, she called them, i was handed the phone to confirm the appointment, I gave my phone number address, and confirmed with the sales person for the next day. Again we are waiting for 30 minutes, no one is showing up, I called them they did not have me on the list, never again, dont like to waste my time, or my family.
