Not much talk once you walk in. Although you do have to sign in on a book, which no one really tells you at first. Only knew because i read the reviews before hand.They call you and if you are not present they give you a call to come by. There were about 6 people in front of my but I could say I waited 30 minutes, 45 top. Christian was very nice and talkative. He did exactly what I wanted him to do. Will definitely be coming back to him.Highly recommend it if you are the type of person that walks-in and walks-out without all that talk in between.

First time here. High reviews drove me here - been cutting my own hair for two years now. Most chairs in the waiting area taped off for social distancing, sign-in sheet with waiver for the shop: fairly standard right now. The barber I saw (referred to himself as Bob the Builder) throughout... decent enough on my haircut, but completely botched my beard: explicitly stated no more than half an inch off, looking to grow the beard larger, just looking for good shape and good lines.Guy took my neckline up more than half an inch, lost more than 6 months of growth... worse, its not even close to an even cut or symmetrical - spent close to 30 minutes trying to fix what this guy did.Props for knocking out a haircut and beard trim in 35 minutes, but Id easily have sat another 20 for having done a decent job, and paid attention to what I asked for. Absolutely zero chance Ill be returning here in the future.

My job has moved more than a few of us to Orlando for a temporary assignment. My profession requires that we maintain our hair a certain way, and we have all been away long enough that its time for haircuts. Knowing that there is nothing near our provided lodging, I went searching for a place to steer my people to (by being the test subject). I signed in and filled out the COVID waiver, as implied at the door. I say implied since nobody said a word to me. I saw one name with no barber next to it and I assumed that the gentleman sitting in the chair was that guy. That customer was called to the chairs. A barber, who I will assume is Nick himself based on the license hanging, finished with his customer just as another gentleman walked in and sat down. The barber looked at me, checked the list, walked over and had a familiar conversation with the newcomer and ushered him to the chair. Still not a word spoken to me. Maybe my work clothes blended me into the background, but I know for a fact they did not. I left unacknowledged, but have already shared where not to go with my 100+ coworkers that came to town.

Ive been going to Nicks Barber Shop for years. Think of that old fashion barbershop where you go to chat and have that home town feel. Ive never left with a bad experience and always leave looking good :)Heads up: THEY DO NOT TAKE APPOINTMENTS (what real barbershop does?) and there is almost always a wait. Show up early because the place is popular. These guys are good so you wait for quality and good service.

I have been cutting my hair there for 2 years now, they do good job for the price you pay, however their queue system is terrible and this’s not the first time I had to wait for more than an hour and half to get a basic haircut, if you go around lunch time expect more waiting time with no respect to anyone, I suggested something as booksy to them to enhance their Bookings but no one is listening, Thanks but never again!

The barbers there learn their trade probably on line.All the haircuts looked the same;and English is a foreign language there nobody seems to speak it.The oriental guy that cut my hair was very confrontational he was downright RUDE!

The service was great! Although busy they had enough workers to keep the line moving. Waited about 10 - 15 minutes. $18 for a haircut is a fair price as I got myself a great fade cut.

Nicks is a quality shop. If you know the patterns you can avoid a long wait. If you do have to wait, youll find it is worth it regardless. I was getting my hair cut by Renzo (Lorenzo?) for a while but he unfortunately moved. I took a chance on another barber and he did a wonderful job! I completely forgot his name though... All of their customers seem to come out looking sharp. Best of all, they will not lie to you if you ask for an expert opinion. I had looked up a cut that was not right for me just yet and he suggested a brilliant solution. (Needed to let it grow out on top a bit more). They will tell you straight up if you ask! Honesty is the best policy to keep you looking great.In terms of Covid guidelines, they care about your health and safety. Masks are required by the guests and barbers. You might be surprised at how rare this is in Orlando despite being such a Covid hotspot...

I got a hair cut this weekend from Richie, the hair cut wasnt bad. I gave it 1 star because he told me its $18 and I told him add $5 as a tip, but he changed to my credit card $28.98. I didnt want to go back and ask why he did that, I live far away and its not worth it. I know were going through a rough time but thats stealing. SHAME ON YOU!

Nicks is a classic barber shop with 4 or so guys cutting and styling. They dont take appointments so if you go during a busy time be ready to wait. My wait was about 45 minutes but it was worth it. All the guys seem nice and experienced, and 16 dollars is a steal for a good haircut. Would recommend.

I liked going there until the other day when I went in and didnt see my barber, Anthony who I had been going to for a while. No one seemed to know where hes at until I found out that he moved across the street to 💈19 hole barber shop. Im really glad I was able to find him. Happy again.

Loved this place. It was my first time going and it was a little bit of a wait, so I think going early would be wise, next time. Been going here for a couple of years, service they had was great. But after a previous visit for another haircut, it wasnt up to my standards even countless times Ive been here and was off by half of what I wanted for my look. Finally went back again few months ago for another haircut, was still off by half yet again.. went in a couple days later to get it corrected as I wanted to with a different barber, I explained that I was back to get my hair corrected, and after that, they charged me a 2nd time couple days later. I wont be coming back here again, as I went to a better nicer place, where the stylists were exceptionally over the top, actually followed my standard appearance. Here.. not so much..... If you want a better stylists that actually follows your expertise, go elsewhere, I cannot go here ever again after getting charged 2x just to modify my hair I wanted it at.

Had a great experience! The wait was a little lengthy, but only because of the amount of people waiting to get a cut. There were 4 or 5 barbers cutting at one time. My barber (Richy) cut my hair exactly as I asked him to and was very personable! I’m only visiting Orlando but will definitely be back upon my next visit!

Such a great barbershop! I moved down here in April and had a hard time finding a reliable shop to get a cut that was consistent with what I wanted or with recommendations for my kind of hair. This shop met and exceeded my expectations and has a Classic feel with great atmosphere. All the barbers are knowledgeable, more than willing to offer advice on styling, and ensure you’re happy with the haircut/styling before they take off your bib. I will be moving soon, unfortunately further from the shop in Orlando, but I will definitely be returning and making the drive from Kissimmee for this place. All the barbers are friendly and professional. All I can say is that it was a blessing finding Nick’s. Be sure you check the credibility of the negative reviews, because Nick’s barber shop definitely focuses on quality and service! Thank you Nick, I look forward to my next haircut. STOP going to Budget Barber Shops! This place is the real deal & a genuine first class experience! Why settle for less? Just got cut by Nick himself and was a relaxing cut that felt great and easy on my skin. Will definitely be back! Only thing is I would advise having some time on your hands for your first visit because there can be a line and they dont take appointments.

Nice group of guys working there. They style beards and will razor the back of neck. Line can be long, so make sure you have time, walk-in only. If busy, they will close doors 30 minutes prior.

Hardly recognized my presence when I walked in, after he finished with the guest before me the barber simply disappeared for a few minutes without again acknowledging my presence. If you have to use the restroom, get a drink etc thats fine but the least you can say is Ill be right with you to the guest, not even that was said as a courtesy before the barber disappearing to the back. Haircut was just OK, hardly took any time on it and was done in about 10 minutes, most other places take 25 minutes and are much more detail oriented. I decided to try this place out because of the great reviews but I wont be back. There are plenty of other barbershops in this area to give my money to.

I have to give four stars since they have recently decided to close on Mondays.Great barbershop. Not a stylist or hair specialist. A barbershop with actual barbers. Sometimes the wait can be long and they can get busy and parking might be an issue, but there is a reason for it. Wait for Danny at the far left chair for his great attention to detail.

This was the best haircut Ive ever had. Stepping through the door felt like stepping back in time. Beautiful vintage barbershop look and atmosphere. The friendliest staff Ive ever seen at a barbershop not to mention the most knowledgeable. I walked in with one request make my hair/beard look good. And boy did they deliver. My only regret about the experience is not asking the barber what gel he used in my hair and where I can buy it. But after the haircut and beard trim I had today I will never go anywhere else.

I knew I was in the right spot when Frank Sinatra was playing in the background.I proceeded to getting a haircut and a beard trim by Nick, which only came out to $24 before the tip. The cut was quick and very well-done. All the while, he was very welcoming and conversational. This isnt one of those barbershops where you feel uncomfortable and rushed. Close Shave!! Ive been going to Nicks for a few months now and have always gotten great service. Nice close shaves and great haircuts. When I would go to other salons, after a week or so I was unhappy with the way my hair looked. Nick has figured out what works for me and my haircut still looks good weeks later. The Hot Towel Shaves are an added bonus I use to spoil myself. Again, Great Service at a Great Price!

Great for families and young men. The atmosphere has a classic, old school barbershop style and if you take a look around, you might just find the barbers license of Nicks father hanging on the wall.

In short: Quality haircuts by great group of guys.I was really struggling to find a barber that would actually listen to what I wanted and do a good job consistently. As a military guy my hair has to be just so. I have had my share of bad cuts. I HATE paying for a bad cut. Well, I found Nicks after going to many barbers in the area and getting many bad cuts. That was more than two years ago now and no one else has cut my hair since. I will be going to this shop for the foreseeable future.

Came to Nicks for the great reviews, left disappointed. My haircut was simple: 3 on the top, medium fade to skin. That was it. It took 15 minutes which is quick timing, and the barber did an OK job, but the service was lacking. One comes to an old school barbershop to experience better service than you could get at supercuts, not equal or below. At 930am with a full day ahead I left with a face full of hairs, a poorly cleaned neck line, and a feeling of disappointment. A haircut shouldnt require a shower right after; take the time to clean up. A hot towel would have been nice, and more attention to detail is a must. Again, a barber shop should be more than just a haircut. Im not local, only in town for two days, and I dont want or need anything. Im writing this so the next customers hopefully get a better experience.

Got a great haircut at a very decent price. However, I wasnt the only one who discovered the value, so you have to wait your turn by taking a number and sitting in one of 20 or more seats. There were 15 people ahead of me but it only took around 40 minutes to get to me.

These guys are on point! I moved to Orlando in May and havent found a good barbershop yet. I went into Nicks yesterday and Richard took me for a cut 5 minutes before closing on a Friday evening. Great service.Not only was the service great but Richard did EXACTLY what I asked him to do. Youd be blown away how many barbers take a liberty and take a too much hair off, etc. Richard did precisely what I wanted and even made improvements to the style I was looking for, but confirmed it with me first. Great conversation during the cut, which is so hard to find now, but he was friendly, fast and a true professional.On top of all that, the prices are reasonable too. Ill be going to this barber for as long as Im living in Orlando. Keep killing it Rich!

Hard to find a traditional barber shop these days but this is it. Four barbers on duty and I only waited ten minutes before I was called. The haircut was great and less than half the cost of the salon I had been going to. I will definitely be going back to Nicks for my next haircut.
