Gents, if you’re in need of a beard trim…look no further! After reading quite a few reviews, I made the drive to Orlando from Melbourne. It was well worth it. I’ve had a few trims in my area, but none of them were exactly what I wanted. Victoria took great care of me…listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job! The shop is cool and has a great vibe. Trust the artists at Liberty to take care of your beard, you’ll be happy you did!

This is the barbershop everyone wishes they knew. Very friendly, very welcoming. It was my first time and they instantly made me feel like family. Jimmy Victoria and John are full of personality as big as their talent which is immense.The haircut is superb. If you are looking for a 60s 70s greaser style cut this is the spot. My barber was John and I will be coming back 100%. This mans skill is unparalleled. I have been desperately searching for someone who could do a pompadour for 3+ years. John took me step by step through the cut, asked my opinion while giving his professional advice, and even showed me how to style it step by step. best cut of my life for sure.All in all I cant fit everything positive to say about this place here. Bottom line: if you know, you know. If you dont, you need to fix that quick.

In town from Dallas for business and needed a little tightening up. Walked in and Victoria was able to get me in. Decided to get a full haircut rather than just clean up the sides. I’m always nervous about someone new cutting my hair. Now I’m upset that I won’t be able to have Victoria cut my hair all the time. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever had! Thank you Victoria! Jimmy is the man! I just moved to Orlando and needed a place that was close to my house and all the reviews about Liberty were great. Stopped by today to get my hair cut and it did not disappoint. The thing that stood out to me more than anything is the attention to detail that Jimmy put into my haircut. It wasn’t rushed, it wasn’t sloppy just a good clean haircut. The fine tuning he did on my neck, around my ear and near my hairline was something I didn’t expect and haven’t gotten from other barbers but Jimmy took the time and did it right. Will go back for sure.

Though I haven’t gotten my hair professionally cut in what seems like forever, due to Covid, I just went here for the first time since getting my vaccine. I’ve been going here a few times now and I’m always happy with the service and attention I receive! Jimmy has been doing my cuts and he’s very chill but professional. I would highly recommend checking this place out! Plus the owner John contacts you back via text message incredibly quickly for appointment times. However, it’s well worth it. I received advice on how to groom my beard, I got a solid haircut that’ll last me weeks, and the entire time I felt great at the seat. Ive been going to Victoria for close to 5 years now without missing an appointment. The most accurate, smooth, and clean cut I can get in town. This may be a good place for a haircut but for big beards I 10/10 would not recommend. My boyfriend drove an hour to get his beard cut here and prepaid $45 for the appointment. When he got home he realized the length was completely lopsided the edge was higher on one side than the other and a chunk was missing from one side and not the other. When it was brought to the barbershops attention they replied that “it was the style they were going for” and they “thought it looked great” anyone can clearly see how butchered it is. He is literally so embarrassed. They offered to fix it which I would have taken them up on if they had not tried to give me the run around instead of just owning up to the bad quality cut. My boyfriend liked the vibe of the shop and the reply I got was the barber had a nice time hanging out with him which is fine but we did not pay money for a hangout sesh we paid for a good quality cut and that was not delivered.

Liberty Barbershop changed my life! This isnt a joke. I drive an hour each way to get my hair cut and beard trimmed at Liberty and its worth every mile. Ive been going to Sharon for years now and shes fantastic. This is a no nonsense shop and I greatly appreciate that. John is a phenomenal owner and the conversations I have in the shop always have me laughing. They offer the best products too. I use both their hair and beard products. Horrible experience. Barber said, and i quote, be butt hurt all you want man. That is simply not how you speak to someone regardless of the situation. Very unprofessional.I prepaid for a haircut and tip for a total of $37 and missed my appointment due to some medical problems. Contacted them and was told they had another appointment the same day so i took that and headed down. Turns out i would have to pay for another haircut even though i didnt even receive my first haircut. I was still willing to go and pay twice for my haircut until the person who was suppose to cut my hair started to insult me and patronize me for my medical issue. At that point i just told him i would find another barber shop. Im not going to pay someone who is rude TWICE to cut my hair once.I understand their policy and if he would have just told me that is the policy sorry but you will need to pay for your haircut again i would have accepted that and been fine. Instead he decided to preface his remark with not to be a dick and then proceed to be a dick. It is a shame because they seem to do good haircuts, they just need employees who speak to people in a professional manner.

I havent had the time to go and find a good barber I can go to and stick with but this place.. nah. Im gonna be real tho he (Tito) cut it good but couldve been way better. Skin fade was nice but off the top made no sense. Almost as if he started to fade the top of my head making it uneven. Wasnt able to notice till the next day

Great experience. Came in for a shave w/Colin. Everything was prompt, and an ice cold beer on a hot day never hurts. Colin was professional and paid attention. Got some great advice on some thoughts about growing my beard out, the shave was comfortable & relaxing. The option of aftershave or beard oil to top it all off is great. Will definitely be back.

Not only is the haircut fantastic, but John and his barbers focus on the complete experience. Its well worth the price.Also, there is one negative review talking about how they waited to get their haircut far past their haircut time. This has never happened to me once in all the ~30 haircuts Ive gotten here. They are incredibly timely, friendly, and competent.

Simply the best. Id probably jump off a cliff into a pit of fiery doom, or run into oncoming high speed traffic if this place ever closed. They wont though because they do the best cuts, actually care about how youre doing in life, try their best to work with your schedule, encourage you to grab a drink from the fridge, and are just real. If you want to get a cut from a place that represents a hard-working, and humble blue-collar mentality, this is the place to go.

I used to drive by this place on my way to West campus for a physics class. I decided to stop by and booked an appointment with Tito Santiago (one of the barbers that was available that day.) I was greeted with a complimentary drink of my choice (Beer or water) and the service was phenomenal! The staff was helpful and my overall experience was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this shop to others.

Ive had my hair cut by Sharon a few times at Liberty and these have been by far the best haircuts Ive ever gotten. She has mad skills, she is very thorough and works with an artists touch. Trust in your barber at Liberty because they are going to make you look your best. The shop has a cool, laid back atmosphere and is an awesome addition to the neighborhood.

Only been once, but I had the SINGLE BEST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER HAD. Im almost never satisfied with a haircut, but this place was fantastic. Sarah, I believe her name was, cut my hair, not John, but it was perfect. Theyll offer you a beer/water/soda while you hang out, no charge at all. My haircut was $15 because I was a walk on, but I tipped Sarah $10 because of how good the cut was.

First time visit into this barber shop today, which I found on the Internet and had heard about them from some friends. Made an appointment two days ago with Colin and was taken in on the dot. Awesome all around feel and both John and Colin were very cool. I was tired of going into a chop shop with 8-10 chairs and having to go home and spend 30 min + detailing what they didnt do. Sure, what do you expect for $10.I had a picture of a cut I wanted and Colin mimicked it to the tee. Oh, and yes I got home as I always did and there was no need in detailing it, as the hair cut was perfect...just how I wanted it. Great job and thanx Colin!!! If youre looking for a barbershop in Orlando that actually gives a damn about their clients, look no further than this hidden gem in the Milk District. Owner is super chill and the crew always ensures you have a clean, stylish and up to date cut. I work 80+ hours a week and Ive tried other barbershops that make you wait around for hours to catch a fade from some guy fresh out of beauty school. This isnt the case for this spot - the barbers are all top notch and extremely skilled. Not to mention they can schedule your cut by appointment (however, Ive seen that walk-ins are welcome) and they stick to that appointment! Ive never seen a barbershop that values a clients time or money quite like Liberty Barbershop. Cheers to you guys - keep up the great work!

Tito is great. And, from the looks of things, they all produce fantastic cuts. This shop is the real deal. Probably better than any shop Ive been to in NY. Their policy is different, some may call it rediculous, but since theyre all essentially entrepreneurs in there, it is very understandable. And, they take you exactly at your appointment time. So prepaying to have the shop run as efficient as they do is so worth it in my opinion. I remember other shops and stylists making me wait for them often, sometimes even calling having to cancel on me! So I think its fair.If youve been hesitating like I did, just go. Youll be kicking yourself for not going sooner.

Don’t waste your time. Called to make an appointment and the recording said they do not answer the phone and to just come to the shop. I drove 45 mins to do a walk-in to be told they only do appointments. They guy said that they want new customers to come in just so they can tell them that you have to put a deposit down to hold an appointment. BAD BUSINESS!!

John, the owner, has been cutting my hair for the last few years, and I refuse to go anywhere else. I feel awesome when I leave, and I get complimented on my haircut constantly. Every time I go in I see Colin and Sharon absolutely killing it with their clients as well. This place is the real deal.

John along with the other barbers are the best in the business. Best haircuts Ive ever received. Since going to them, Ive lived in different cities and it has always been a challenge finding barbers who can properly fade my hair (super thick Sicilian hair) while these guys/gal never had an issue. 10/10 would recommend again. Never had so many compliments from people in my life, including from the nice ladies at UCF. If youre going somewhere else for a cut, you done messed up A-A-ron.

This place really hand picks their staff. Its a super tiny shop but that just means you know everyone in there has talent. Ive been going a customer of Alex Ks for over a year and Ill keep coming back so long as hes working!

The haircuts I got were fine but they have a total disregard for your time. I just walked out earlier this morning after waiting 20 minutes past the appointment time. On my previous visit I waited at least 35 minutes past the appt. time. Its crazy because they have a weird system where you pay in advance so that their time is rigidly respected. At the same time, they are completely oblivious to wasting your time. Nice people and like I said the haircuts were fine, but clueless and poorly run.

Strange, funny dudes that know how to give good haircuts. I was only in there 30 minutes and the conversations switched from death pacts with bros to unwholesome thoughts about Bob Saget. Definitely know where Im getting my next haircut.

I spent the last 7 months growing out my beard. I was told that John was the best at trimming beards so I went there. After the whole pay upfront, $40.00 for a beard trim. You think 40 bucks this guy has to be the greatest right? I told him I had lots of short beards I DO NOT want a short beard thats why I grow out a full beard, about 6 inch long. I also told him I was going to Morocco and needed to have a full beard. Forget the $40. What a waste! In the end I have a short beard with about 3 weeks growth on the sides. Before I left I said, It doesnt look straight. He said I have wavy hair. I went home and one side is shorter then the other. Could have done a better job all by myself. Very disappointing now I have to spend another 5 months growing it out.Through the whole thing I had to hear him putting down his Lebanese wife and as I walked out the door he insulated my girlfriend which he never meet. I have been in barber shops my whole life never heard anyone talk about women that way.pondsWow I just read response from John, the owner. Now I am so glad I wrote my review and so glad you, replied, you just showed who you are. I’ve never been to this barber but I was reading the handful of one star reviews and loved the way the company responded and fought back on the reviews, made me chuckle in some instances. You can tell it would be a lively atmosphere in the shop.

Ive been coming to liberty for about two years now and Ive never left unhappy. The Atmosphere at the shop is always great and you can always expect to have an awesome and clean cut. Not only their services are great, but they also provide quality products for all your beard/hair needs and are always helpful when it comes to trying something new.Their prices are very reasonable when you are considering the fact that youre getting a clean cut from experienced/skilled barbers in contrast to going to a supercuts or other chains.Even though the shop doesnt have a large waiting area I find that the space makes it feel like a more personal experience.Overall as long as I live in Orlando I will keep coming to Liberty Barbershop and will always recommend it to anyone looking for a great cut.

I️ asked for skin fade and I️t wasn’t. plus he seem to be in a major rush to go on his lunch break rather than cut my hair. I️ asked him to trim my beard but he said he can’t cuz he is trying to go his break. SmhIf it’s the customers first time at your shop I️ would most definitely give them a good impression but I️ didn’t get that. His break was more important.. Great barber shop and great service

I am not one to ever write bad reviews but I felt I needed to for this case. I had been going to this barber shop for 3 months before I decided to switch shops. I always showed up for my appointments early and tipped at least 25% every single time. My last appointment I had to cancel about 5 hours before my appointment due to being at the ER for kidney stones. I texted my barber(Sharon) to let her know I would not be able to make it. She offered little sympathy for my situation. Telling me that she hopes I feel better and that she will TRY to fill my spot. Feeling guilty I offered to pay for that missed appointment as well as make another appointment for later that week. She replied with okay to me paying for that missed appointment as well as asking me to come in and put a deposit down for my next appointment. This was absurd. Not only was I asked to put down a deposit for a $20 haircut but I also drove every appointment 45 mins away just to get my hair cut here. I finally decided to call it quits and switch barbers. I underatand that as a barber it may be frustrating to have clients cancel constantly which may interfere with your paycheck. However, when a client offers to pay for a missed appointment(which was more than generous) as well as make another one. You offer little sympathy as well as ask them to drive 45 mins to make a deposit on a $20 haircut that is just baffling and unprofessional. Being in a profession that offers little stability I figured this would be handled much better. Also, as mentioned above it is inconvenient to have to wait outside on a picnic table in Florida weather for a haircut. I would suggest if you want professional barbers, an air conditioned waiting area to go elsewhere. I am sure glad I did.

Location is key for this shop however I do not think that $22.00 is a fair, let alone decent asking price for just a haircut.With no waiting area inside, and having to pay upfront for a haircut then having to come back is very inconvenient. If the hair cut was at least above expectations Id have a different outlook on the cons above - but I dont think this is the place for me.

They will half ass your haircut and charge you 44$ for hair and beard. Seriously, go somewhere else.
