Antonio always goes above and beyond every time, pays attention to every detail.Just a great Barber in every sense.
Always an excellent haircut! Been getting my hair cut by Antonio for over a decade. With the Covid issues ongoing I wasnt sure if he was open again. Not only is he cutting hair but, following the safety guidelines and then some. Always a good conversation and a great haircut!
If you need a great looking cut, this is where you go. He did my hair for senior pictures in high school and I got so many compliments on it. Great conversationalist, restored my faith that there ARE people out there who aren’t just looking for a quick buck. Remembers things you tell him and will always make sure you’re doing alright. BEST BARBER IN O-TOWN.
I’ve made hundreds of TV media appearances worldwide, and Antonio has lined, cut and styled me for every single one of those appearances. Antonio has been my barber for more than 15 years. Antonio is absolutely the best, a professional in everything that he does. If you want the absolute cleanest and best look you can, go to Custom Cuts by Antonio! Highly recommended!!
Antonio is a special man. He not only has strong integrity, but he also kicks it and has fun while Im in the chair. Over the last 10 years as my barber, he has become a brother to me. If you want the real deal, someone who is passionate about his craft, your hair, and about life overall, Antonio is your guy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Been going to Antonio for a couple years - best haircuts I’ve ever had. Down to earth barber who cares about his clients and makes sure he can do what they want. Wouldn’t go anywhere else
Fantastic cuts. After a bad experience at a different barber, Antonio was able to restore my hair to the best it can be. If you want a good haircut, a good conversation, and a good time, hit Antonio up.
Best barber in Central Florida! My appointments with Antonio are the highlight of my week. I recommend Custom Cuts by Antonio to all my friends!
First time I walked in I was a client, when I left I was family. The quality of the cut is on point every time, but the quality of this man as a friend and mentor is priceless
Had to repost this from Yelp! As a customer of his made a rude comment to my review. To Jean from your post below I’m sorry to Hear about your recent experience I guess his approach hasn’t changed much. It’s so upsetting to me how business owners who don’t perform expect customers to write favorable reviews. It’s so sad to see people being treated in this mannerMy review from yelp 2015....I truly wish I could give this business a ZERO rating. I just returned from the most humiliating experience. Yesterday I logged in to Yelp to find a barber for my son who is 16. He just returned from summer vacation and needed a cut. I usually drive him about 45 minutes away because I cant seem to find a decent shop around here in the Avalon Park area. I saw this business and it had a nice arrangement of photos showing fades etc. I quickly booked an appt. and even left work early to make it on time. We walk in, he sees us and his face is dumbfounded as if my son had a Martian growing out of his head. He doesnt even greet us before he looks at my son and says hey man I dont cut your type of hair he kept insisting that he doesnt cut curly hair (my son is mixed 1/2 African American 1/2 Puerto Rican) he was sorry and that if he wouldve known that he has this type of hair he wouldve told me that he couldnt do it....ahead of time and not had us even come in. I asked him if he was serious because I truly thought he was joking. I know my jaw was hanging open. He says he usually refers people with curly hair to another guy on in the rented salon spaces. We walked back there and he tried convincing the other guy to cut him today. The guy clearly couldnt do it and I just told them both to forget about it. At this point Im pretty much heated because I completely wasted my time. I ask this Antonio how he can call himself a master barber if he only cuts straight hair? I said youre a brother/African American at that....and you dont cut black hair? He said thats not black hair .......I said oh its not? I walked away out of there in complete disbelief. If youre a barber you dont just turn people away because they dont have straight hair especially if you proclaim yourself to be a Master Barber as you can read from all his advertisements. We ended up going to NY Barbershop (by the dominoes pizza) at Avalon Park Blvd where my son was able to get a fresh blowout hair cut with a nice fade and sharp edge. I guess it was meant to be that we found a good spot after a very terrible experience. Once again, humiliating and a very offensive visit overall.Another thing I should mention: this guy had no idea what I wanted to do with my sons hair he didnt even take a few minutes for a consult but instead he immediately said that he didnt do his type/kind of hair. For all he knew, I wanted him to get it all shaved off! He wouldnt have had to use any expertise for that. It wasnt like I was going to ask him to do anything out of the ordinary than a barber usually does. In all the years Ive taken my son for a cut Ive never seen a a barber turn anyone away because of hair texture. I had my young daughter with me too luckily they are both secure children who dont hate their curls and wish they had straight hair. Truly irresponsible and unprofessional.
Unfortunately I wish my short experience would be a positive one. Apparently the barber called me the day before to see what type of hair I have and make a plan for the appointment. I couldnt answer due to a full school and work day. I went 30 minutes before to talk to him and present myself first. When i called him, he rudely said that he called me twice (only once in my phone log) and because i didnt answer he cancelled. Started fighting me about not answering and being irresponsable, that as an adult I shoukd check my voicemail. One word, arrogant. That is no way to talk to a new client with high hopes of the barber’s “service”. Work ethic and social client skills = 0. Very disappointed with how he treated me over the phone. Sadly I will never reccomend Antonio. Same thing with a friend. My friend was late because his uncle had a medical emergency. When he called the barber explaining and apologizing, the barber expressed no care for my friends situation in a crass manner. If thats the way he treats his clients, I dont see a positive outcome for the businness.
Can always count on good conversation and a good haircut with Antonio.
Awesome place, love coming here
FYI. He is not longer accepting new clients.
Antonio is one of the best barbers in the Orlando area.
Antonio is the man. Enough said
Love this guy!
Nice
