My fridge was not working properly so I decided to call Reliable Appliance Repair Orlando in which I found online. Since the beginning they were very professional and set up the appointment. Not to mention, the tech was always on time and explained everything to me well. I am very happy with the service this company has provided to me. For sure I will call them again if I come across another problem in the future.

I was having an issue where the refrigerator temperature kept going too high. I have a thermometer and it was reading almost 50 degrees at the lower shelf. Brian (great guy) was the technician that came out to look at it. The issue was self inflicted. I moved some frozen chicken from the freezer into the refrigerator to thaw and placed it on the top shelf right in front of there the temp sensor for the refrigerator so the airflow was blocked and the temperature at the sensor was within proper range causing top shelf to be at the correct temp and bottom shelf to be warm. Self inflicted. Someone not honest would have found something to repair but Brian was very honest and showed me all the details on how the air flow works. Future appliance needs I will be calling Reliable Appliance Repair.

Mark with Reliable Appliance Repair returned my text message very quickly. While we are out of their service area, Mark went out of his way to help me. I’ve called several places this morning and Reliable is the only one that got back to me. I would highly recommend them.

I initially had some issues regarding my repair job as it was mistakenly diagnosed incorrectly but the owner himself reached out and was extremely helpful in fixing the problem regarding the repair charges. I appreciate that even though my repair could not be completed he still personally reached out to make sure I was reimbursed for the incorrect charge. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone for anything!!!! I had an appointment for a technician to arrive between 1 and 4 pm. At 4:15 I called to find out the status of the technician’s arrival since I had not heard from anyone. The young lady that answered the phone said she would have the technician call me right back or she would call me back herself. About 7:50 pm (which was almost 3.5 hours later), a gentleman called to say that my technician had to go home early that day for some reason thus the reason no one showed up for the scheduled appointment. Sounds like this company has an issue with reliable employees. The word “Reliable” needs to be removed from the company name because they are anything but reliable! An entire afternoon wasted waiting at home for no one to show - guess those 4 hours of vacation are gone and now I’ll have to use more time to wait for another repair company to show up. I caution anyone about “relying” on this unreliable company for appliance service. Lastly, I wanted to give a ZERO star rating but the lowest that I was allowed to select was 1 - make no mistake my rating would be ZERO if I could make it such!!!

I called for my refrigerator repair in my orlando house..First time they went there, they couldnt diagnose the problem. Visitation fees was promptly charged from my credit card. Second time they wanted to charge fees again. Second time they went to the house, 2 weeks and no call. I didnt know whats going on.when i called susan was rude on the phone. Sounded like she hated to be there. Will never use or recommend them

I called Mark at 5am due to all the great reviews I read. The reviews are correct! Mark was very helpful when I was explaining what was going on with my fridge. Took lots of time with me and gave me an honest answer which is very hard to come by. He also offered to refund $79.95 for the service fee and stated that if I ever had any problems with my appliances to call him directly and he would personally get on it. My brief conversation with Mark was very positive to say the least. He truly cares about his company and the people he deals with and Im glad we were able to resolve this issue. Look no further than Reliable if you want the most prompt and honest repair outfit in town. You’ve found them!!! Our LG refrigerator suddenly stopped - We had no idea why. We looked at our warranty paperwork and thought we were out of luck. I called Reliable, based on all the reviews I had read, and boy oh boy they were spot on!! I called at 9 AM spoke to the most friendly customer service person (Susan I think ?) and Bryan the tech was at our home by 10 AM, same day! UNREAL! Just as “Roger R” experienced and wrote in his review, Brian identified our problem knew it was a warranty issue AND knew that it had a five year warranty unlike the one year we had thought. He stayed with us while we called LG to ensure no issue. LG is coming out today at no charge AND will reimburse us for the spoilage!!! Happy Holidays!!!!

Brian came out and identified the issue with my Kenmore fridge-freezer, but instead of repairing it he asked for the owners manual. He verified it was still under warranty. He volunteered to stay and walk thru the phone call with Kenmore. He could have fixed it and charged me full price for the compressor and I wouldnt have known any better. Honesty like this is rare. If you need appliance service you wont regret calling this company!

Our Washing machine was dancing all over the place during the spin cycle. I called Reliable and they promised next day service and gave us a 10am to 1pm window. Brian arrived at 10:45am. He gave me the diagnosis, had the parts in his truck and wrapped up the entire job in an hour. I will definitely use Reliable for ALL my future repair needs. Brian was great!

Mark repaired our refrigerator and later on, when I had a washing machine issue, he gave me an incredibly honest response to replace it He could’ve sold me a bunch of repairs on my machine but instead, he didn’t. Woke up one morning to find our refrigerator was not cooling. They were able to get a tech scheduled first thing in the morning. Mark called me to explain the possible things that could be wrong and was very knowledgeable and responsive. Once they arrived, the problem was identified but they could not locate the replacement part at any of their normal distributors. Mark was finally able to locate it and had it shipped to his home ASAP. Apparently this is a common problem and supply is low. I would definitely recommend this company!!

Brian from Reliable arrived early and quickly diagnosed three troublesome appliances, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. The microwave he fixed with a simple readjustment of a spring. The dishwasher just needed a hose moved to stop it from collecting excess water. The refrigerator ice cube dispenser in the front was shot but we decided not to replace it. All this for $79.00! We are very happy with the service and service man!.

Mike replaced the left front door skin on my over priced Samsung french door refrigerator and did an excellent job. Polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Rust had formed along the base of the door and below the water dispenser due to moisture. The procedure included removing the electronics; tricky operation.

I called this company Thursday and from the very beginning when Mark answered, he was warm, friendly and very helpful regarding getting my washer repaired. He stayed in contact with my husband and I throughout the day to get a good time set up for Saturday. Brian came Saturday and was quick, honest, friendly, and fixed my washer right up for a very decent price. He even fixed my garbage disposal for free when I mentioned it on his way out!! I could not be more pleased with the service! I was impressed from the moment I called for an appointment. A very nice lady arranged for a tech to come out and check my refrigerator. The tech, Rafael, was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He diagnosed the problem, explained it to me in detail, and gave me an estimate. A few days later, he came back and installed a part that had to be ordered, and everything works perfectly. After he left, I called to leave a message about the good service, and got voice mail. I realized it was after hours, so I just hung up, planning to call back in the morning. Within a few minutes, Mark texted me asking if he could call me later. The communication was great, and the tech arrived within the scheduled window, calling ahead of time to let me know exactly when he would arrive. He even gave me some advice about my finicky clothes dryer!

He explained a few things and when finished talking with Mark, I called LG. I originally scheduled an appointment with Mark today but due to his busy schedule, he was not able to come check out our washer system. Even though Mark was not able to schedule us today, he gave us some very good advice that were absolutely thankful for. We have a 10 years old Maytag washer that had just quit on us all of a sudden. After conversing with Mark for a bit, he advises us not to fix the washer due to its age and costs. Instead, he advised us to buy a new washer as the cost to fix our old washer would almost cost as much as a new one. Even though Mark never made the service call with us, he took the time to answer question about potential washers that we were looking at. He was willing to take my call while were out shopping for a new washer and advised on the best one to get. Mark is definitely a rarity in this type of business where other repairman will often try to have you replace parts that are not needed. Even though we know that it pains Mark to advise us not to fix our washer as he would missed out on making money with our repair, we totally commend him for being honest with us about how to best spend our money which is a rarity in this business. We highly recommend Mark for anyone who is looking for an appliance repair person. Even though we may not need his service for a washer at this time, were definitely calling him if we need service on our other appliances in the future. We wished that we can give Mark higher than a rating of 5 as he definitely deserve a perfect 10 for his honesty and expertise. Excellent Service. In the middle of the preparation for Hurricane Dorian, our refrigerator stopped cooling. We called for a service and they were very professionals. The next day Brian called me to let me know when he was going to arrive. He checks the refrigerator very quickly and let me know the problem of my fridge was not fixable. He was very educated, patient and ethical. He never tried to give me a silly option to overcharge me for something not fixable. I appreciated their honesty and highly recommend them.

Our stand alone freezer went out Sunday night. Contacted Reliable Appliance first thing Monday morning. Mark got right back with me but they were busy and he couldnt guarantee they could get someone out there the same day. Unfortunately I couldnt take that chance since I needed to try and save as much food as possible. Mark understood but he didnt stop there. After a little time went by he followed up with me to make sure I found someone to come out which I did. He also let me know that who I had coming out was a good company and would not rip me off. Since Reliable Appliance made absolutely no money off my repair the concern that my repair was taken care was amazing. These guys are great!! Top notch! Had an issue with my water not coming out of the dispenser and they had to order a new filter housing for me. The technician arrived during the scheduled appointment window, and he gave me a call about 30 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on his way. It took him all of 20 minutes to diagnose the problem. Overall they were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to do business with.I had contacted several other companies in the Orlando area for the same repair work, and Reliable Appliance Repair was the only company to call me back to schedule an appointment and follow up.

This company is the ethical and service standard all others should aspire to become! I called around 6pm because my dishwasher was leaking on the floor. I was not only surprised that Mark, the owner answered, but even more surprised that he offered to walk me through some troubleshooting steps to possibly avoid a service call. I want to repeat that so it sinks in...I was more than willing to pay him, but he took the time to text with me until almost 10pm in order for me to rectify my issue at no cost?!?I will say that this was genius, because he is now my new go-to for any appliance issue and I will tell anyone who will listen about his stellar service. Reliable knows what they are doing and the entire process is so much better than I was expecting after using a competitor. Found them on Facebook and will simply be using these folks from now on. Fixed my refrigerator and Mark wrote a letter of justification for me to send for a warranty reimbursement request. Who else does that? I called the business and Mark who answered is the owner is very nice and friendly and educated his customers. I called him earlier to try fixing my chest freezer and turns out that I was able to fix it myself. But he also gave an awesome education about things I didn’t know about. One thing I don’t care for is paying service call fees. However, he says that if he needs to do a service call, he would apply that as a credit towards the repair bill. I haven’t heard of other companies doing that. Between that, the education, and the friendliness, and the honesty I would highly recommend this company.

What an amazing experience. My refrigerator went out on thanksgiving night after dinner. Mark promptly texted me to let me know they would call the following morning. Within the past three months, I’ve had issues with both my refrigerator and my washing machine.When my refrigerator stopped cooling, I contacted the manufacturer who recommended I buy a particular kit that “might” fix the problem. I was then transferred to Sales to make the purchase, and that agent said I’d been given the wrong kit number and actually needed a different one, which was a couple hundred dollars. I decided not to get the kit and to check further.After several attempts to contact repair techs, I spoke with Mark at Reliable Appliance Repair. Mark spent a lengthy amount of time on the phone with me, reviewed all the troubleshooting steps with me, and based on the results and the age of my fridge (28 years old), Mark recommended that I not invest money in repairs because the fridge had already exceeded its life expectancy by more than a decade, and even if a kit costing a couple hundred dollars would fix the current problem, there were several other failure points that could still go, and I’d be back in the same boat. Since he sensed my anxiety in having to make this large purchase on a moment’s notice, he kindly offered to be available to answer any questions or do any research for me if I were at the store and saw a refrigerator that I was considering buying. I took him up on that offer, called him while I was at the store, and gave him the make and model of a couple of units I was considering. While on the phone with me, Mark researched the products and provided the info I needed to make an informed decision.Because of Mark’s honesty, integrity, and true desire to help, I was able to make a major purchase within hours, at a reasonable price, and have a working refrigerator in my home the next day.Mark’s efforts relieved so much stress and saved me so much time and money. I can’t thank him enough! And he made no money on this. All of his efforts were directed at helping me and “doing the right thing”, which is so rare to find in business these days.So, when I had a potential problem with my washing machine, I called Mark. I had made the mistake of washing several pairs of sneakers. One pair was old, and in the washer, the heels on both shoes broke apart and the rubber particles filled the washer. I removed the shoes, collected as much of the debris as possible, then let the washer finish its cycle. When I called Mark, he said not to run the washer until he could get a tech to my home to check it out first, in case anything had gotten stuck and could damage the mechanisms. He also cautioned me about washing sneakers and rugs at home, and to take them to a laundromat instead. Lesson learned!Within two hours, a tech (Rafael) showed up at my home and checked my washer. His preliminary checks showed no damage, no clogs, and no need to take anything apart or do any repairs. He said that the model washer I had was well-built, and assured me that everything would be fine. Once again, the integrity and honesty, which are a staple in the way Mark runs his business, shone through.I highly recommend Reliable Appliance Repair for all repairs, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again, if needed.

This is the first time Ive had to contact someone for appliance repair so I was sure to look at the google reviews ahead of time and they were spot on. I called earlier this week and was able to immediately schedule for later in the week, Brian who came out to repair our dryer was so nice and helpful. He didnt have the necessary part but said he would do his best to get back today or first thing in the morning to complete the repair. He was able to come back and complete the repair same day. We had a repair done in April 2018. Not even a year later we are having the same issue. Ice Dispenser is not working. We were told that they were not charging us for the part, nice RIGHT!!! Well now I know why we were not charged for the part, its because the part was electrical tape. We were never told that it was being taped, just FIXED. When I called the office the person that answered the phone was very RUDE. She told me that she was sorry I didnt understand why our service was not under warranty. To me as a consumer, not an expert, if a service is provided and this issue fixed there was a part used to fix it. I know that $109 (still have the receipt) is not a lot to some people but it is the principle. A warranty is a warranty its not my fault the fix was fixed with tape.Best Regards,Mariann

Our refrigerator stopped cooling. I called them on a Saturday morning around 10:00am, they said someone could come out the same day between 12:30-3:30. Brian called me around 12:45 to say he was on his way and arrived around 1:00. Turns out our fan motor was bad. I was very impressed with his service, he even took all our food out and then put it back in for me and I just went back to school grocery shopping this week!! 😬 All of our freezer food was saved because of their quick service! They also include their service fee in with the total of the repair. Everything was all fixed by 2:00pm!! Definitely recommend and we will use again if needed!!

I would highly recommend Reliable Appliance. There name is true to their services. I have a family of 5 and the dryer is almost like drinking water. So when our dryer had an issue . They came to the rescue and had it up and running quickly. If you are looking for fair prices and most important super service-Call them I know we will again .

Our service guy Brian was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of options for repair. Friendly and we will definitely use RAP again if we need service.

My refrigerator (a quite expensive brand) stopped working after 2 years. The warranty had just expired. The manufacturer said they could not help me. I called Reliable Appliance Repair Service, and Mark encouraged me to call the manufacturer back to get them to stand behind their product. Mark was so honest, helpful, and kind. His advice worked, and the manufacturer is going to stand behind their product. Hopefully, it will be repaired. Mark could have easily taken advantage of the situation and charged me to come and service the refrigerator. I sincerely appreciate his honesty and integrity and would highly recommend Reliable Appliance Repair Service.

This is a really good repair outfit. I have sent multiple items for the folks to repair here and always got it back safe and sound and working again at a fair cost. Highly recommended!

Repairman was nice and did a excellent job. But I thought the price was overly expensive and stated it. I wasn’t happy. Mark the owner called me. He offered to return the full amount because I wasn’t happy. But I refused. I just wanted to be charged fairly. We agreed on a fair amount. Mark promised to send me a refund for the difference. Over a month later I have not received anything. I believe when you say you’re going to make something right you do it. You just don’t make empty promises.

Contacted with a question if they repaired small appliances for a juicer I have that stopped working and not kidding within a minute I received a reply. Super friendly told me unfortunately they do not work on small appliances at the moment but gave me information for another local that does and they send a lot of their customers there with similar small appliance requests! I didn’t expect a response at all specially if they were not able to help me so not only were they incredibly available and responsive to my questions but they also sent me information to help me further! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten such great customer service without technically even being a customer! If I ever do need an appliance repair I would not even consider any other company- just great it made my day :)

I had water leaking from my refrigerator and thought it was the drip pan but Mike came out and figured out quickly that it wasnt a break in the drip pan but rather a quick fix, showed me how to fix it in case it happens again and explained why it happened. I would highly recommend this company. I called them after I called A&E Factory which wanted to charge me $100 just to come out and look. At least Reliable credits the service fee if there is a repair needed. Thats sound business practice! Thanks Mike and Mardi for being awesome to work with! I will DEFINITELY use you again!

After calling 5 other appliance repair locations that said they do not service my under counter refrigerator I contacted Reliable and talked with Mark the owner. I brought the unit into the shop and Mark put a lot of effort into making sure the appliance could be repaired rather than just telling me to buy a new one like I heard from every other repair service. I’m really grateful for the extra effort Mark and his team put into saving my refrigerator.

I called this company to fix our True commercial refrigerator and freezer. The owner worked with me on a Saturday to get this up and running before Monday. The Washing machine stopped working. We call Reliable and very quickly they called to set an appointment. My wife shared how we are using the washer and what happened when the washer stopped working. Reliable says....we you washed that rug here is what happened. They say they could come out...it will cost this, or we could invest in a new model, which they make a recommendation or two determined by how we use this appliance and it is your decision. My wife loves these guys because they gave her straight up sensible advice. They could have come out and charged us and then said you might need a new washer. Honest Business, we appreciate that!!

A gem of a service call company here in Orlando. I own several homes in College Park and they are there in hours, not days. Very forthright with information and always trying to help me avert a disaster. I very much appreciate the communication and attention the owner and his staff provide me when I call. Premium service is offered here and I do not feel they charge more than other companies I have contacted in the past. Reliable is my go to for appliances and they even did a water heater for me not long ago. Highly recommended.

WOW!!! What a company!!!I’m not someone that leaves comments, but this company really deserves it!!In two days is the most wonderful time of the year, so getting someone to repair my broken washer will probably be impossible. Right? Wrong!!! Today I woke up a broken washer that’s needs repair. So at 7:30am I emailed this company requesting a repair and 10 minutes later Mark calls me to let me know he will be more than glad to assist. I explained to him that I have 3 small children and I really need my washer. HE told me he will do whatever he can to find someone to come to my house today. I know this is a last minute thing and most places would tell me to go look around for someone else to do this job or to wait until after the holidays. Not this company. Super friendly staff, super polite and helpful owner and incredibly reliable. After an extended conversation with the owner Mark, I went ahead with the service visit to diagnose my washing machine problem. Within 2 min. of looking at the machine, Rafael determined that the damage to the machine was going to cost more than it would to purchase a new one. He explained the failure in a way that I understood exactly what had happened and why he came to his conclusion. No trying to sell me on an expensive repair to boost the bottom line.
