My experience with Hartmans was great. Setting the appointment was easy. The technician arrived on time. He was professional and polite. He did extensive tests to find the problems in my ice maker and microwave. The parts were ordered and he returned promptly and installed them, verifying everything worked great. I will definitely use them again next time I need any appliance repair.

Run at all costs! I have been trying to get my oven fixed by them for 2 months. I am having my 6th technician out this Friday and it is still not guaranteed to fix my problem. Christine (who stated she was part owner) kept telling me if I wasnt happy she would cancel order and refund me and I could go somewhere else vs. just reassuring me the problem would be fixed this 6th time someone is out. These people do not know what they are doing. Ordered the wrong part 3 times.

We had a clogged washer and they were able to fix it up no problem. They were responsive when I called, a concept many home service companies just cant seem to grasp. They werent the first one I called, but they were the only one that answered, and because of that theyll be the first one I call from now on.The tech showed up on time, was super courteous and friendly. He took his time explaining the problem, showed me how he was able to fix it so I was certain it would work once he left, ran some tests to further prove it was working, and gave me some maintenance tips to keep the washer operating in good condition.Theyre legit, and I wouldnt hesitate to call them again!

Very professional and understanding. The lady scheduling told me what times were available to check my stove. Theres a $30 service fee so that they can come look at appliance. She gave me liberty to call back to check for openings. Two gentlemen came to look at the stove within the time frame that was originally scheduled. The men told me the cost to fix the stove wasnt worth it. Were better off buying a new or used stove. They gave me great advice and recommended me to go to Aggressive appliance, hotel liquidation and many more...it was a positive experience

This company is friendly helpful and honest from start to finish. Jason came to our house and he explained everything as he went. Super nice guy and obviously knew his stuff. Rather than try to charge me an arm and a leg to fix my fridge he said it would cost too much too fix and it wouldnt be worth it for me. He said I should just buy a new one. Some companies would convince you pay them to fix it no matter the cost but he cared more about my situation then making more money. I will be recommending this company to everyone.

The tech was very friendly and explained the diagnosis to us. After the repair they gave a 30 day warranty. On the 29th day something went wrong. I called the office and someone was out the same day. Their was no cost and they replaced the part again. They have great customer service as well. The receptionist is so nice 🙂

We had great service. I wish I could remember the name of our technician, but he was amazing. He was extremely efficient, very professional, and explained everything he was doing to repair our dishwasher. He even shared tips to keep our dishwasher running well.As an added bonus, I mentioned that one of my stovetop burners was not working/wouldn’t turn on at all. He took seconds to determine it was just a broken knob that needs to be replaced (something I can buy for a few bucks at Sears outlet). So grateful it was not a major issue.Thanks again. We will be a returning customer if we need future appliance repair services.

They came when they said they would and returned with the parts earlier than they said they would. It was $450 for the fridge repair and Im not sure if thats a good price or not but it is repaired and thats still less expensive than a new fridge. They always sent me a message and let me know they were on the way. Too many service providers say they do that and will call you from your home and say were here where are you? Well, you never called and said you were coming, and then you try and rush to get there before they leave. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have had Ed out to my house twice to work on my appliances. I have also called and spoke with the office several times. This company is very helpful. Gets a service provider to your home quick. Orders parts quick. They are professional and easy to talk to.

Nickle and dime billing structure, happy to do expensive repairs without successfully diagnosing the problem.Phone operators have no technical expertise, just experience at collecting money.Other companies Ive worked with take 2 min of time to triage the problem on the phone and make recommendations on next steps without rushing to collect money. Hartman charged me $30 to schedule the appointment and $70 to step inside and say they cant reproduce the issue so gamble on a $300 fix or better luck next time...2 stars instead of 1 because everyone was very polite and friendly on the phone.***Edit to respond to owner... It was a 3 year old, $1k GE refrigerator... The inspection was for a noise emanating from the freezer. The tech did not recommend throwing the unit out.

This is the second time I’ve had to use them and the same tech came out. Super friendly and professional. Explained what he was doing and how to check it myself. When I called to schedule service they were able to get to me within 48 hours. Highly recommend them.

Hartman Appliance Repair was able to fix my 20 year old Maytag washer. Fortunately the part was available to order and Jason fixed the problem.

Hertmans did a great job and quick too. The prices are really affordable. They are reliable and professional.

Ivan was my repair man. He did not have the dryer heating element but ordered it and put it in on tuesday. He also had to take the dryer completely apart the fix a broken wheel. It runs like new. I recommend Hartmans and Ivan.

Quote was extremely high for the repair needed. When asked to send us a breakdown on cost of labor and parts they refused to. Over the course of the conversation I got three different prices for the repair, which they said was the industry standard. It started at $415, then went down to $316 and then when I called the office she gave us $335 not knowing the service guy had already told us $316. Turns out it was a $45 part and about 45 mins of labor. That seems pretty steep and pretty shady to me.

I contacted Hartman’s to repair my washer door boot spring. I chose this company since they claim to be a certified Samsung repair service. I was told that my diagnostic fee of $70 would be dropped should I accept the work.Here’s how the rest of the visit went:The diagnostic fee was not removedI was charged extra fees for order and delivery of the part to HartmansParts & Labor are NOT under warrantyNo itemized bill produced after final payment (told it would be emailed)Was not able to call and speak with “owner” when I had a question about fee removal (instead I was on hold via phone queue system) Having no point of contact to talk to about my fee removal was most unprofessional.I felt the value of the work wasn’t grossly overcharged. The tech didn’t have to take my door off — he literally put the circular boot spring around the door. It took about 10min but I was out a little over $200 for this service.Overall, if you decide Hartmans is right based on other reviews, please be sure to get any fee removal, extra fees for parts/delivery, warranty terms in writing before a repair person is sent out. Also, get the name of a contact person you can speak with ask how your itemized Bill will be tendered.I would NOT recommend Hartmans based on my experience. I felt like I got taken for a ride with this company.

Ivan, the technician that came to our house was very professional and diagnosed the problem right away however, the part was not available and had to be shipped from out of state and that took more than a week. The cost of the repair was a bit steep but I guess thats the price you pay when you hire a big name company. Thank you again Ivan for a job well done. Had the part been available the first day the job would had been completed in thirty minutes flat.

Our service tech called and asked if he could come a little earlier than our scheduled appointment, which we welcomed. He was right on time with his new estimated arrival, and entered wearing a mask (very appreciated) and got right to work evaluating our very old dishwasher. He quickly ran some tests and opened it up for a closer inspection. While the news was not good, he was very thoughtful and detailed in his explanation, and gave us some options to proceed. While we decided against spending the money to repair an aging appliance, we will definitely be using and recommending Hartmans in the future based on this short service call. K Shriner

My washer needed repair and Hartmans Appliance Repair set up an appointment for the same day. The technician showed up at the beginning of the 2.5 hour window which was surprising. Very efficient and professional.

I was provided a 2-1/2hour service window 24 hours in advance, and received a text message 30 minutes before the technician arrived. Tech was professional and courteous. He answered all my questions providing service above and beyond my service request. My needs centered on the ice maker. Hartman’s was the 3rd company I called, and the first and only company that was able to successfully diagnose and repair the problem. Next time they’ll be the first company I call.

$145.00 just to unclog my washer was a bit pricey for just one hour of labor plus $30 to come out, no parts were needed, I cant even image what the cost wouldve been had I needed parts, I only paid $300 for the set.😏

I called Hartmans due to my 2 year old double door french refrigerator not cooling. I was given a appointment for Monday after the weekend.I was called on Monday by the office representative and told the service man scheduled was ill and I would have to be rescheduled. It was scheduled for Tuesday the following day.The service man arrived on time. He was professional, friendly and was there to diagnose the problem.He diagnosed the problem as a closed unit, not cooling and needing a new compressor and they dont do this type of repair on Samsung refrigerators.I said alright, paid $125.00 for the service call and diagnoses.I knew when I called if it was the compressor they wouldnt fix the refrigeration unit.The only reason I didnt give the company 5 stars was due to the appointment rescheduleing.

Everyone from office staff to the technician were great. Ive used Hartmans for other repairs and they always exceed expectations. I highly recommend them.

Misdiagnosed repair. Technician diagnosed that we needed to replace the control board for the microwave without even taking apart the microwave or looking at any part. Quoted almost $500 for repair. Hired a third party and the diagnosis was a microwave thermostat (a $10 part and this technician took the microwave apart to diagnose) for a repair cost of $110.

The repair man was knowledgeable, courteous, and did an excellent job. I do not know his name but I would recommend him to anybody who needs work done on their appliances.

Dispatchers are very courteous and give you good time window for when the technician will arrive. The technician was very professional, clear and respectful. He presented options and allowed us to select the best course of action.

I suppose it depends on the technician they assign to you but mine mis-diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher as a problem with the control board. I had a competent technician come out a few weeks later and within 5 minutes found out it was a broken float switch assembly and even proved it. A potential $500+ replacement plus a $95 service fee of the control board which would have fixed nothing ended up being only $110 (including labor) to fix the float switch assembly. I do not recommend Hartmans.

I called them to come look at my dryer and the technician showed up early and was in and out in no time at all.. The repair was done quickly and was a simple fix.. Total cost was only $96 and I could not be happier..

After dealing with another company 2 other times for the same issue in less than a month that they couldn’t fix and each time I called them back to fix it they would try to schedule me almost a week out, I decided to call Hartman’s. The dispatcher was super friendly and understanding of the issue I had been having. She scheduled me the same day I called and gave me a window of when to expect the tech. They also sent me a text when the tech was on his way. When the tech arrived he was very thorough and diagnosed the machine in less than 30 mins. He told me they had to order the part but showed me how I could still use the washer and what to do if the error happened again. The office called me after they got the part and scheduled my repair. Ed came back and got my machine back up and running in about 15 mins. Very impressed with this company and will use them for any appliance repairs in the future.

I would highly recommend Hartmans Appliance Repair. Joe came out promptly and was very knowledgeable. They also have great communication. Although we didnt end up repairing our fridge as it was old and not worth it, their knowledge helped us to make the right decision. Also, the lady who answers the phone was very nice and easy to work with.

I needed them to replace a Tappan Oven door hinge. However, they dont work on appliances more than 15 years old. Guess they only want to work on easy jobs, nothing too complicated. Makes me think they have VERY limited skills.

We had a few broken wires in the wiring harness on our fridge. We showed them to the repairman, but he didnt fix them. Instead, he told us we needed to replace the entire door for $1,000 plus labor. And he charged us $69.After he left, I repaired all of the wires in about 20 minutes.Repairing broken wires isnt an ideal solution, but I still think an appliance repair company should give the customer more than 1 option whenever possible.

Great customer service, tidy, professional & very experienced technician Bruce showed up at our house in uniform and with ID which always helps put my wife at ease. Bruce was efficient in his analysis, gave my wife a price and gave us the option if we wanted HA to fix it. Our 2006 GE Profile dryer was making a horrible squeaking noise for months. And, we’ve been told by many a repair man that the older appliances are more reliable than the newer ones. From stories from our friends & family with brand new appliances and problems - we agree. We agreed to get it fixed and Bruce ordered the parts. The next day Bruce spent about an hour taking the dryer apart, showing me the problem and putting it all back together - squeak free. Bruce suggested loading up the dryer to make sure it was not squeaking under a heavy load. All was good. Thank you Bruce! Great job!YES!! After another operation told us our 2 year old washer was not repairable, I called Hartmans. They came to the rescue, quickly ordered the part, communicated with me all through the process and had the washer working again in just a few days. Their technicians were professional and friendly, as was every member of their staff. I will certainly use them again when I need appliance repair.

Called to make an appointment and was greeted buy a friendly receptionist. The appointment day and time was scheduled and before dude appointed arrival time the technician called and said that he had finished early and could come by. He assessed the need of the appliance, ordered the part and told me that he would probably be coming back by Friday. That afternoon I was called to confirm that in fact it would be Friday for the completion of the repair and again before the allotted schedule time the technician arrive early and install the part within 10 minutes. Very efficient,very pleasant and will definitely do business with them again.

Absolutely excellent... our tech Derek had our dishwasher up and running literally in 2 minutes. The console simply needed resetting. But more than that, he didn’t try to tell us we needed to replace the console to turn it into a bigger “ticket” so to speak. He explained that sometimes these consoles need resetting, but if it starts happening more regularly, that’s the time to replace it. Just good old fashioned honesty, not to mention he was exactly on time. I’m a long term customer now. Thank you!!

I had a technician come out to look at a Jenn Air fridge that was not working. The technician incorrectly diagnosed it as a compressor issue which they were not able to fix. I later found out from another company who actually fixed the issue that it was a control board issue that needed the evaporator coil replaced. Hartman Appliance offered a refund for incorrectly diagnosing the fridge so long as I provided the evidence. Once I did, they said the invoice I provided that stated the parts that were replaced was insufficient. I’m kind of confused as to why they would act like they’d give a refund and then make an excuse to say they can’t once the evidence was provided. Anyways, I wouldn’t have let a bad review but their dishonest business practices forced me to. I get technicians can make mistakes but I cannot overlook a dishonest company.

We recently had a matter come about where a powrr surge took out our washer. Marcus was timely within reason and while no repair is generally cheap, he helped us out with out stacker unit. Very courteous, prices are pretty down to earth amd reasonable for what it is.Many thanks for how they put in the footwork for repairs and getting the electronics to fix it.
