I’ve had dental anxiety for years and I am so grateful I found Southwest Dental. The entire staff is so kind and understanding of patients with anxiety. My first experience with IV sedation was great. Dr. Pearce is wonderful and patient and my hygienist Kashia was great! I won’t be going anywhere else!

Southwest Dental, Dr Tentler and staff have just been wonderful to my Son who has Down Syndrome and Autism. They are patient, kind and understanding of his behaviors that might arise. Dr Tentler also does IV sedation there in his office at the time of the visit. This has been a blessing for us because of the convenience of that and because my Son would never be able to have dental work done without it. I cannot express enough how much I would recommend their office for any dental work needed.

I just LOVE Dr. Tentler and his crew at Southwest Dental. I have always dreaded going to the dentist since I was a child. I have a complicated medical history but Dr. Tentler has been a Godsend. He’s extremely patient and his bed side manner is top notch!! I previously had a procedure done where he used iv sedation. He was able to start my iv with NO issues and this is huge for me because the nurses struggle to find my veins at the hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Tentler and his practice!!!!!!

We are very happy with Southwest Dental Group. Our family has been going here for several years. Our daughter has a severe, physical disability, and Dr. Tentler, Kasha and all the staff are very hands on and attentive to our daughters needs (and theres several)! Whether our daughter needs only mild sedation through her g-tube or full IV sedation, Southwest Dental can do it. They are very friendly and truly want to make you feel comfortble.

The Dentist (was) my worst fear in life. I avoided going for ages because of past traumatic experiences and only returned when I HAD to because of an emergency situation. Dr. Tentler, Dr. Pearce, and the team at Southwest Dental have taken care of me and improved my quality of life. I have built trust with them and am working on tackling my fears of dental procedures. This is by far the best office for children with special needs or anxiety. My daughter actually looks forward to her visits now and has received superb dental care. I wish I had found them sooner.

My husband has very high anxiety when it comes to visiting the dentist plus some medical issues and Dr. Tentler understands these issues both his anxiety and his medical issues and always makes him feel comfortable and at ease! Dr Tentler has been taking care of my husband for 25 years when no other dentist would! His ability to do IV sedation has been a godsend for some of the work my husband has needed! If you have any anxiety or medical issues and need dental work Dr Tentler and Dr Pearce are the best!

My sons have been visiting, their friend, Dr. Matthew Pearce, and told me he was a good dentist, but he is much more than that. 24 years ago I had an awful experience with a dentist that displaced my jaw, since then, I run the moment I feel any anxiety. I Checked online for a local Dentist that was close to me and had decent reviews. ( I’m new to the area and after setting up primary care Dr’s and wondering how they got great reviews, I was worried there’d be a trend. ) I”ll tell you what though, my expectations were exceeded! The Hygienist was gentle and kind. The Dentist was friendly and helpful, even took the time to get to know me and didn’t hurry me along even with a late appointment. The 5 stars are legit!

My family has been going to Southwest Dental group for about 8 years. Dr. Tentler and all of the staff are very thorough, efficient, communicative, and nice. They are also great with kids - very patient and gentle. A huge plus (especially with kids) is that they are always on time. The office is clean and newly remodeled. I would highly recommend!

If you have personal issues such as a fear of dentists or a severe gag reflex, .(I have both), or if you just want polished, highly competent dental professionals, then the Southwest Dental Group in Orland Park is a Godsend. Several years ago I was pretty desperate to find a dentist who had the ability to navigate my personal circumstances without dismissing them as All In My Head. (I wish I had a nickel for every time Ive heard that one.) Ive been going there for years now, and a visit to the dentist is no longer something I have a sweaty panic attack about. I speak from my experience with several other dental offices. You will not find better dental professionals than Dr. Tentler, Dr. Pearce and their staff.

Went here for my first dental appointment in a really long time. The facility is exceptionally clean, modern, and inviting. Every single member of the staff was friendly, smiling, polite, and kind! Just a great visit!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Tentler for most of my life and he always has great services and a kind staff. I recently needed two permanent implants and he helped me feel comfortable and confident with the results. Can’t recommend him enough!

Dr. Tenter has been my dentist for 15+ years we always have excellent professional treatment by all of the staff. All my kids come here also and they love it. I have a special needs adult child that I have no problem brining because he feels comfortable. We recently began seeing Dr. Pearce. He is a wonderful addition to the group very contentious and caring.

I first saw Dr. Pearce 3 years ago back when he was practicing in Romeoville, about a mile from where I live. I have always hated going to the dentist ever since I was a kid, but i loved how Dr. Pearce made me feel completely comfortable with how gentle and professional he was right from the start. He makes each visit as quick and painless as possible, and walks you through the whole process to make sure youre satisfied, both with the work and the cost. When I needed emergency work on a cracked a tooth a few months ago, I learned Dr. Pearce had since moved out to an office in Orland Park, a good 35 minutes away. To me, he is worth the drive, and I wouldnt think of anyone else for my dental work. I have been to see him for a few fillings since, and he and his assistant Maria have been absolutely wonderful each time. If you need a dental professional you can not only trust, but feel completlely comfortable with, go see Dr. Matthew Pearce and Maria at Southwest Dental in Orland Park. Your smile will thank you...
