My experience with Gurr CPA is they have superior knowledge on tax rules and I didnt think that was possible. With their knowledge and action they were able to find $600 tax liability that we were paying that we didnt have to pay. Eric Gurr is very knowledgable and makes sure my personal and business taxes are done right every year. The whole team is very personable and really care about my needs. They take care of questions very quickly. Ive been using Eric Gurrs services for about 8 years now.

Im disappointed my experience with them wasnt as good as everyone elses. We made an appointment with them, and when we got there the people in the office seemed a little hurried, a little confused...the consultation was quick enough and the turnaround on the completed return was really quick as well. So we signed off on everything...except then our tax refund was withheld for several months afterward because we didnt provide proof of insurance for the whole year. It was our first time doing taxes as a married couple, and the employee at Gurr didnt ask us for those forms? Whats more, we were out of town for a couple of months afterward, and whenever I tried to call them it went straight to voicemail. For WEEKS. It seemed very shady.. when we got back I went in and we straightened it out..and then they charged us AGAIN to fix what should have been done right in the first place. Im glad others have had a good experience there, but I did not, and I dont think I would recommend.
