We thought our brakes sounded funny, and boy howdy were we right we basically had torn right through them. This place was great they showed us what went wrong how to recognize when brakes need pad redone and the price was fair. 5/5 would recomend.

I literally could write an essay on his work!First he assured me, it’s all going to be okay. He met me at the vehicle and we discussed options of first thought of diagnosis and minimal and possible maximum of what would be needed to get the vehicle done and my peace of mind.Then he towed Jeep to his shop.We thought it was a warranty, engine issue. It was a radiator and not covered under the warranty. Again he assured me it’s not going to be as tragic as motors and mechanics have led people in the past. Once we knew what needed to happen, a very fair price was discussed. In one business day I had my Jeep back! One!! Not 2 or 3 days laterWhen arrived to pick up my sweet Jeep, not only did I have a new radiator, but he helped me with some more items. He didn’t have to, I’d just had an emergency surgery and I’m still in awe of his service. He fixed my back rear hatch door, including the widow portion, cleared out my head lamp covers and put new Freon in for the a/c as you learn some is used up year over year!No extra on the invoice either!I will never ever go anywhere again! Including an oil change. His assessment and advice were so helpful to me as I made my decision! He was kind, professional, and experienced. I would take my own cars to him.

Super helpful, convenient, and insightful. I called in when the shop was closed because of some brake issues and instead of being told to come back when they were open I was asked to still bring in my car because of his concern for my safety. I was quickly assisted and walked through the diagnostic of my cars issues and the problem was solved quickly. I left feeling better about my car and I’m grateful for their hospitality towards me.

This guy is my hero. The guy here is amazing!!. I didnt think there was a shop that actually knows how to do business right but there is. They are very good and went above and beyond what was expected.They had a fair price and was able to change out my interior blower motor the same day. They also kept me updated the entire time with pictures and videos. They treated me very well. I will definitely use them again. Thank you

John did the job quickly for me. His prices are reasonable and he was very educational about what he did and what else he thinks the car needs to be in the best shape. I also appreciated that he is local and not a big chain. He puts care into his work and stands by it. It is always hard to find an honest mechanic but I believe I found that at C Jae’s.

Jonathon has been mine and my husbands mechanic for years, he is fast and has great customer service. I recommend him if your looking for a mechanic. Went in for some maintenance and he also hooked me up cleaning my engine. Loved it.

Check engine light came on, came in C Jaes shop and was greeted. Had it checked out promptly. I am impressed with his knowledge and technology. He preformed an accurate diagnostic and showed me statistics of what causes the code I had. Got it fixed very quickly and done right. Excellent service!

Seriously, this guy is amazing! He not only fixed the ac compressor in my car for a lower price than I was quoted at other shops, but he also drove to downtown SLC to pick up my vehicle and had it back to me fixed in the SAME DAY! So impressed and will be recommending him to anyone that I can.

Jonathan was very nice to work with. When diagnosing my car he showed me under my car and what was wrong (my water pump was out). He let me bring my own parts in and was really cool about everything. There was some miscommunication on my end about some things and he was really understanding about it all. I would recommend going to his shop :)

I had a great experience with Jonathan. I had a vehicle with a lot of issues, some I didnt even know about. He was really great to show me exactly what was going on with pictures, videos, and a detailed invoice for needed parts and services. Even not knowing a lot about cars, I felt confident that I was getting repairs that I actually needed. I also felt confident that I was getting the best deal on parts and a good rate for services. He also guaranteed his work and told me if something he repaired broke down, I could come in and get free labor on it. A few days after the initial repair, there was still a lingering gas smell. I took it back in to Jonathan, and he got the faulty part replaced without charging me labor. Jonathan cleaned the engine area so it looked beautiful and took the time after the repair to show me exactly what he did and what I should expect going forward.

I was looking for a shop that would be close to my job and found this place that had really good reviews. I was not disappointed! Jonathan and his wife Celina own the place. Jonathan is a one man band with his wife helping him out and they are both the kindest people! My old 2003 Ford Focus had a battery light that kept coming on and a host of other issues. Jonathan kept my car, drove me back to work and diagnosed my car for free. He gave me an estimate on the essentials and also other things I may want to address in the future. I dropped off the car later in the week to have him work on it and the man is just a master in his craft. My car is driving better than it has in ages and the engine, seriously, looks new cause he cleaned it! He cares about his work and he is soooo skilled at it. I am definitely taking my car to him again!

Went into this one of a kind shop today as a first time customer for some diagnostics, and Jonathon has already gone above and beyond for me. I was in a really bad way on the freeway on ramp. I just asked Google for an auto repair shop near me and called C Jaes, he himself answered and for the next 4 hours he diagnosed, had parts delivered and replaced my distributor on the spot and when I could drive the truck again he had me bring it to his shop where he welded a big crack in the exhaust manifold. If that isnt great service, I dont know what is. So naturally I was hesitant to ask, Whats the damage ? (The bill) Let me just say, I was massively relieved when he showed me the bill. Could not recommend Jonathon more. Great mechanic. Call them up, told them what I was experiencing and then he ran me through what he was going to check. Dropped the car off and within an hr I had a video texted to me of him testing the alternator. Diagnosed the full problem within 30 minutes of that video and had two quotes for me, gave his recommendation and then let me pick. Kept the car over the evening so he could watch for anything else and drive the car a bit to make sure it was all working properly. Gave me a quick text the following morning that the car was ready to be picked up. Showed up, and he’d completely cleaned the outside of my car along with the entire engine bay. Price was exactly as we agreed upon, and we talked for a solid 30 minutes after about my car, things I should be watching for and everything. Awesome, and I’ll say best, experience with a mechanic I’ve ever had.

The door on my truck would not open. Toyota said it would be $320 just to order the new part, and $120+ to install. Obviously I did not have the money to pay for that. I went to this shop and asked if there was anything he could do to help me avoid this cost. He said nothing has ever come to my shop that i cant fix. He then reconstructed the lock in the door, and only charged me his hourly cost. The total being a mere $170. Cheaper than ordering a new part. 100% recommend!!
