The salon is very nice, the pedicure seats very comfortable but the lady who attended me did not know how to do my fingernails, I asked for acrylic nails with Dip Power and she did not know how to do them, first of all she did not put filler, she only put the glue and he handed him the machine to lower it and match it with my natural nails, then I applied the powder and it was all his work they charged me $ 107 for pedicures and manicures, I was leaving on a trip to Florida and I didnt have time to go to another salon. I do not recommend it to anyone

This is where I got my mani/pedi for my wedding last year, and has been my go-to nail place for longer than that. Theyre friendly and helpful, and they always do a nice job.

My friend and I came and got out nails done over the weekend and this was the best mani pedi Ive had since I moved to Omaha! The staff is so friendly and its such a clean environment. They took extra time and care while doing our nails. Will definitely be back!

It hurt when they did my nails and they bled a lot. I’ve never been to a place this bad at nails. If you want to feel like your being tortured and like paying for it then this is the place for you!! And the nails came out looking horrible!

I went to Kawaba with a few friends today to treat ourselves, and we all left in pain. Both of our nails were bleeding and mine were painted over like nothing happen. When I had asked about my nails bleeding the guy who did them had said, “their fine, they were just your bad cuticles.” NOT even the pictures do justice on how bloody they were. I will not be going back. They used to be my favorite place.

I love my nail tech here. In the past when I first started coming I did have an issue with cracking, but we were able to address it and started having more acrylic placed on my stress areas to prevent from cracking.There is only 1 technician that I will allow to do my nails here and that is Ty. He pays attention to detail and most of all HE TAKES HIS TIME. Every visit my nails look brand new. I have had a bad experience with 2 other female technicians, so I can’t recommend anyone else.Ty has been doing my nails for 2 years now. And it is money well spent. I always get pink and white done and I’ve never seen anyone with the neatness and consistentency that he has. I highly recommend if anyone wants pink and white, stiletto, or coffin nails to go to Ty.

Tai did an amazing job on my dip nails. He was very nice and gave one of the best manicures I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend.

Terrible they didnt paint my nails properly and theres a ton of nail polish on my hand that they didnt clean and poor design i recommend to not go to this place and go to a proper nail salon never coming here again and for poor service i got charged alot.

My wife and her friend went in Monday for a manicure and pedicure, along with acrylic nails. After 2 days my wife already had 1 acrylic pop off, even went in to have it fixed,, then 3 more popped off by Sunday. Her friend had all but 1 pop off. Horrible service after the fact on people calling back, having to come back in multiple times for a problem is not a solution. Would not recommend.

I’ve been going here for the past 4 years and would never consider getting my nails done elsewhere. The service is always amazing and my nail technician I always see is the absolute best. I typically get a shellac manicure and pedicure but all of their services are amazing.

First off, I have never written a review on an experience before at a nail place. I have never been so deceived. This place charged me $10 extra for using 3 different colors and because my nails were medium length. They said, its more work for us using 3 different colors and your length after they finished my nails! So I ended up paying $50 dollars for a shellac fill. They also told me because I ALREADY had coffin shape nails before I came in it would be an extra $5 because its more work for them to file so I switched to square-oval. LIKE WHAT. I dont know any place in Omaha that would try and charge someone $15 extra for length, shape they already had, and 3 different colors and NO design. Make sure you ask every question before you go in because they will screw you and make up excuses.Is that so? Then maybe you should update your website and let people know before you charge them $55 for a fill. My nails are not long and I didn’t know the difficulties of using one extra color on a pinky would be $5 extra dollars. Thank you.

Phillip did my fingernails on Saturday, toes on Sunday. I had a schedule conflict otherwise I would have done them both at once. He was amazing, Im so thrilled with all of my nails! I was nervous about having a pedicure because I broke my foot a year ago and had surgery. Phillip was very mindful of that. He helped me choose my colors which are sparkly gold. I normally go stupidly safe so this gold is FUN!! The facility is very clean, everyone is very pleasant, it was a great experience and I will be back for sure!!

I was visiting from out of town and needed to get my nails done so I came in to your establishment in a recommendation of my daughter in law. She said she comes in all the time. I got a full set of white tip acrylic nails. That was around the 24th of June and in about a week when I returned home I had to have them removed and redone they were already peeling off. The person who did them cut me twice. I’m sorry, I’m not a really fussy person, but this was a very disappointing visit. Now with everything going on with COVID 19 your business requires customers and employees to be wearing masks, now that is fine I wore my mask, now it was not till I was on my way out the door and I glanced around and realized that NOT ALL OF YOUR EMPLOYEES WERE WEARING MASKS. I did send your company an email with my concerns and No one responded.

I have gone to Kanwa for years. I love that they always honor my appointment time even if I’m the one who has to switch things around . Front desk is always welcoming and remember familiar faces. I love that they have reward points as well! I see Tina mostly she is great and always gives a good hand massage which I value a lot!!! Tammy and tai are also great an I see them occasionally as well!

This salon is exactly a mile from my house. I moved here a year and a half ago and have been to about three or four different salons including this one. I have never found anyone that I have been totally pleased with. Today I had a manicure and pedicure with Hanna. I just got a basic Mani-pedi it’s no-frills and yet she did the most thorough and complete treatment than I have had anywhere since moving here! I will definitely be back and I will definitely request her in the future.

Wonderful customer service. I was a walk-in and they were able to get me right in and my technician did a beautiful job with my shellac manicure with design on my ring fingers. She even re-did one nail that had gotten a ripple without me having to ask. And while she was friendly and wonderful, I was also impressed with the other employees. There was an extremely rude and crabby customer next to me and the technician kept a very professional demeanor until a couple coworkers came over to assist the customer. And even when someone else took over and the woman was still incessantly complaining, they remained very professional and went out of their way to try to accommodate her. There was no pleasing that customer, but their professionalism in the face of her rant has me planning to be a repeat client.

So disappointed with how they handled bad service. Had a full set put on on a Saturday. In one week one had fallen off and all of the edges of the others were lifting off at the cuticle. By 10 days, another feel off. By the time I could come in due to work (10 days later) all the nails looked awful. They refused to fix them without me paying for a refill. They said they were old like it was my fault the girl did a bad job. Ive been here many times with great service and have always left very happy. Im really disappointed that they didnt offer to fix this free of charge. I will no longer come here and neither will my mother in law or daughters.

Really great! Its a large place so you dont have to wait for a seat vert long. They have a really extensive selection of stuff so its great. The prices are affordable and the staff is super friendly

Staff was super friendly. I called and got right in with not wait right as they opened. They did have a little wait by the time we left. I had a cucumber pedicure and it was great! Feet look and feel amazing. I did witness a staff membee handle a customer who was just a bit into her phone and not knowing what she wanted done. Just sort of ignoring him when he would ask, he handled it very professionally. Signed up for their royalty card and will be going back.

Had a dip some on my nails within 3 days one nail cracked and peeled up. And all the other nails were peeling around the edges. Will not get my nails done here again. $40....However, the pedicure I did have was relaxing and shows to still be lasting.

This is my go to place. I love it! Everyone is so friendly and I always leave happy. Tammy is my go to lady for nails. The pedicures are always so amazing and their dip powder services are great. Most nail techs know how to do this service. You will be satisfied coming to this salon.

I have gone 3 times, first 2 times were fine, 3rd time was Probably one of the worst dips I’ve ever had, they looked like press on nails, my cuticles were Dry and splitting because they soaked my nails for so long In acetone, didn’t get the powder to the edge of my nails, in under 4 days I had 3 broken nails and chipping around the cuticles.Will not be going back again

Used to come to Kanwa Nails when I moved to Omaha 5 years ago and finally stopped because there are better nail salons in Omaha. Decided to give them another try about 2 months ago, and they again were just ok. I had issues with polish that would not dry and they seemed to not want to stand behind their service. My cuticles were cut back deeply on a couple fingers which caused them to be very sore and bleed. After my experience today, I will not be back. I drove completely out of my way and called to make sure they could get me in. The girl that answered checked with someone else and assured me that I could get right in. When I arrived, they seemed to be expecting me and I thought “great!”. However, after waiting about 5 minutes the receptionist came over to tell me it would be a 20 minute wait. I explained to her that I called and she said she could get me right in, and she instantly “forgot”. Don’t waste your time with this salon. They get you in and get you out, with no attention to detail. As much as I hoped I would find someone I liked they need to seriously improve their customer service.

I have gotten my acrylic nails done every 2 or so weeks for the past 5 years. I get regular polish, not shellac. I book a pedicure and acrylic fill with my sister before our upcoming vacation. One of my acrylic nails fell off, and I needed it repaired, so I knew I would have to pay a little extra. But you can imagine my surprise when the bill for my fill came to $35! For regular polish! I was charged $25 for the fill itself (I normally pay $18-20, depending on where I go), $5 for a nail repair (which I expected) and an additional $5 for the coffin shape...here’s the kicker though, my nails were already coffin shaped! Literally nothing about my nail shape changed! I was furious and feel like I was being scammed. I spoke up and they agreed to take off the $5 coffin shape charge, but $30 for a regular polish fill is still outrageous. I will never return and I will be sure my friends and family do not either, if they value not being taking advantage of.

Frustrating! I have been getting my nails taken care of for 20 years. I’ve been visiting this establishment for quite sometime always hoping for a better end result. Every 12 to 14 days I have an appointment set and from 2 to 8 nails have lifted and or come off @ approx $40/visit or more. Yesterday’s visit included nine ombré nails that had lifted in the past week-YES 9! I had to glue the lifted areas back on everyday...it was insulting & infuriating! I was told it’s not the product it’s me!! I do not use hand products, I do not do dishes, I do not have a labor intensive career as an Architectural Designer of Interiors. Also told by Tammy, who is one of the two techs that do the ombre applied technique that I was to NOT ask for her, Tammy, in the future! The staff have no interest in empathy only blame, no suggestions to compensate for the continued lack of quality products used or any interest in keeping me as a satisfied customer. They made me feel at fault! This is AMERICA you need to treat customers better if you are going to stay in business! I am not an inconvenience & should not be talked about in a foreign language... this is America speak English or not st all!( as your read the negative comments below, MANY have had the same issues with no positive results)Sad!

The guy who did my nails followed my requests exactly. That is rarely true in other salons. I liked how he kept checking with me to see if my needs/requests we met. I wasnt greeted with a smile and guided to the nail colors like I have had done in other salons. That first impression can be a make it or break it for getting a high rating.

I went to Kanwa Nails for the first time last week. I got acrylics with shellac overlay. Something Ive done at other salons many times. The usually last a long time. It looked good at first, but the shellac started to chip and peel within a couple days. I went in today to have it fixed, which is within their 7 day window. They told me the only way theyd fix it with no charge is if I got the exact same shellac as before. WHY would I want the same polish that is obviously a horrible, poorly made shellac? Its not like I want to have to go back again next week because its chipping again. Of course I dont want the same shellac that already failed once.Overall, if you want quality products and good customer service DONT GO TO KANWA NAILS. There are plenty of salons that will do a better job.

I have tried so many different nail salons in Omaha and Kanwa is by far the best salon Ive ever been to! They are always professional and friendly. They offer a wide variety of services and their prices are reasonable. I never feel rushed there and its always a relaxing experience! I usually ask for Kang or Vicki and recommend them to all my friends!

Went with an entire bridal party and decided while everyone else got their pedicures and nails done Id just do a white tip acrylic. I sat for an hour and a half while the lady proceeds to use a CLEAR tip instead of a white one. When I stop her she says she is doing something. She then does the dip instead of a regular acrylic. I was so confused. Yet she kept going. I never have had the dip before and I didnt want it. I also didnt want to pay more than I had to. She then decides to PAINT the white tip on with regular nail polish. I had made it clear I didnt want it painted but just the regular white tip. She got excited when I asked if she was doing shellac, I said no I dont want shellac either JUST A WHITE TIP INSTEAD OF CLEAR. When the whole bridal party was done with their toes and hands I was still waiting for mine to dry! They ended up smearing and cracked. The dip ended up being thick and heavy. I understand up selling but you should have your nail techs do what the customer asks for instead of boxing them into a corner just to get an extra ten bucks. Ridiculous, been getting my nails done for 8 years and I have never had an experience this bad- never going back. I did end up paying $15 dollars instead of the thirty something shed told me, I have no problem paying for a service but when she blatantly ignored my request and my nails looked horrible it isnt fair. Honestly just wanted the nails off so I could go somewhere else.

Anyway, once again I am going to post my review, if it is removed again then I know someone within the shop is doing it. Ty is my nail tech. He has been since 2016. I have tried two other technicians within this salon, Tina being one, and the attitude was ridiculous and the service was poor. I had only allowed the other two technicians to do my nails because Ty was out injured and I immediately regretted it.If you want a nice pink and white set, coffin nails, or stiletto nails, ask for Ty. He takes his time, never rushes, and pays attention to detail.I’ll be screenshotting this post, just as proof that it was posted, if someone from the shop removes it again.

The service is great and I did not need to wait long either, since I booked ahead of time. The service here is pretty good. Felt really pampered and the tech did a pretty good job on my nails.

I called 24 hours in advance to set up an appointment. The next day, I arrived for my scheduled appointment and as I was parking my car my cell phone rang. The receptionist called me and advised that they no longer had time for me. Apparently, you are treated better if you just walk in without an appointment! I will never return and will tell everyone I know the same.

I went with a friend for our annual spring pedi and had a very nice experience. The service was top notch, my nail tech was quite responsive when I told her that I preferred a gentle touch. We will definitely go back!

I have gone to Kanwa many times and usually get to pick my pedicure this time I did not she just said I am ready for you? I got the most basic pedicure with none of the frills so to speak. My daughter went with me and got hot stone, cello wrap, massage all the usual for the same price as mine. Very disappointed.

I wanted to like this place I really did. The reviews were great and I was coming in with high hopes. Needless to say I left disappointed. I got a full set with shellac and 7/10 of my nails were bleeding when I left. The man doing my nails was sanding away at my cuticles so much that they were literally bleeding. Now 2 days later I have infections on 3 of my fingers and intense soreness. I can barley do anything with my hands without experiencing pain. My nails look nice but the shape is not what I wanted and the man doing my nails was not understanding what I meant when I said round nails. All of that could have been forgiven and I would have left a great review but with the careless sanding, my nails bleeding, and now infection I just can not leave a good review. Im really upset that I paid $50 for an infection....

Worst service I have ever had. The lady was rude and did not want to be there. Rolling her eyes at one point when told she had another manicure to do after me. My shellac on 5 of my nails were completely off within 2 days. When I went in to fix them they would not take off 3 that only had minimally started to peel, saying they are fine. They were not fine and would have been chiped even more within 2 days. The lady refused to remove the nail polish on those nails saying they dont do that. When I asked for my money back they said they dont do that. I asked to speak to the manager and he reluctantly gave me money back for the shellac. I will never go here again as there are too many other nail salons in Omaha to choose from.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. I have gone there just a couple times and will never go again! They are so RUDE and PUSHY there is no relaxation. My mom brought both of my daughters there and they messed up (didnt use right color etc.) Did not apologize, she got upset and slammed whatever was in her hand on counter and says you said this color, you said this!! They have no knowledge for customer service. DONT COME HERE, no respect and very pushy.

I had never been to this nail salon but my mom was a big fan so we decided to go together. I got a shellac manicure and within 2 days after the manicure my shellac was peeling off on multiple nails. I went and got a nail fixed the next day and the nail tech was not pleased and was rude about it. A couple days later I had even more nails completely peeling off (less than 7 days after getting my manicure). I have gotten shellac many times before and they usually last about two weeks at least.... I’m not only frustrated with the peeling of my nails but with how rude the lady was that was fixing my nail. It was like a burden to her and she could not wait until I got out of her chair. Very disappointed

Your website says each pedicure includes a 12 minute foot massage. I received 20 seconds with my lady digging her long fingernails into the arches of my foot. When I squirmed in pain she smiled, then stopped. My job is being on my feet 8 hours a day and I was really looking forward to that foot massage. Concentrate on womens feet and not our legs. I wont be back.

Although I like the atmosphere and the professionalism, thus far I have had to come back it seems every week to have my nails fixed. I paid $65 for a full set pink and white, although they looked nice, every other day it seemed a nail would crack and I would be back in to have it repaired.Each time I got a nail repaired I was being charged for it, never offered as a courtesy even after the 2nd time to have the same nails fixed again. Ive worn my nails like this for the past 4 years before relocating to Nebraska,and I have never had this happen before, every time a nail cracks its very painful. Ive spent a lot of money here, but unfortunately it doesnt appear that I will be returning, 3 visits in nearly 2 1/2 weeks is not good, and the last time I just decided to let another place fix it to avoid the headache.Im not sure if the product being used isnt of good quality or what it is, but my nails should not be cracking all the time as they have been since coming here. And no real resolution has been made to help me in this matter. As a customer I dont want to continue chucking out money every week for something that shouldnt be happening,

First time at this salon...not impressed. Got a mani & pedi. Pricey for mediocre quality. Asked for designs, but results were not very creative. Design on shellac manicure started wearing off within 2 hours of minimal activity. Also, my friend’s toe got cut during her pedicure.

My usual place (TruElegance) was closed and I was in dire need of a manicure so I went here... I asked for a shellac polish change... NO MANICURE... $30?! Guess you cant get that here... they have to buff and trim cuticles otherwise polish wont stick... thats a lie... TruElegance shapes, buffs, doesnt trim cuticles for a polish change and my polish sticks just fine... what a joke... learned my lesson!

We were super excited about going out to get our nails done to celebrate birthdays and new jobs, all three of us ended up bleeding, have bubbles in our top coats, and our nails werent painted to the edges or shaped evenly. The service was fine, we were helped promptly for a walk in, but theres really nothing that can be done to correct our disappointment.

My experience here was awful...it took longer thank I expected...so Im thinking Im getting a extremely good well done mani/pedi....boy did I think wrong. My toes were bleeding by time I got home from the painful pedi and my French tips that were painted on literally turned yellowish color less than 24hrs later with me doing absolutely nothing to cause it. And now 4 days later they are mostly chipped and peeling off. I am so disgusted and disappointed, paid way to much to be having this happen I will NOT be back and will NOT recommend it to ANYONE!!
