I’ve literally never really set foot in an actual gym. I have severe anxiety in these types of settings, yet my friends one of which is a Trainer here convinced me to try it out. I’m still new and learning to feel comfortable but could not recommend this place enough. Especially if you’re in the market for a trainer…Lois is exceptional and will never make you feel like an amateur even if you know you are! 😉 thanks Lois for being you and pushing me!

This place is spectacular! Unlike any other fitness establishment I have ever been to before. Its huge! And it has everything you could possibly think of that is relevant to fitness. They even have waterslides! 😆 Very nice place.

Been out of town for a month and I tried to call in to cancel my membership because I was offered a job elsewhere. They said they don’t do cancellations on the phone but I can write a letter with all of my details on it. What kind of business in in 2021 doesn’t let you cancel online? Then when I finally got back to Omaha I went to cancel and they told me I have to give a thirty day notice. So I’m actually canceling in 30 days and oh btw since it was the thirty first I get billed tomorrow. What a joke. Legal robbery. Do not come here

Front desk workers were always quite rude when checking in. They seemed to take their job a little too serious in my opinion. Will definitely not be renewing my membership because of this reason.

The Omaha club is fantastic and Jim, the general manager, is a superb leader. From the moment you walk in you encounter friendly staff, a clean and well kept environment, and top notch everything. I cannot say enough about how lucky we feel to have this club with this leadership in our neighborhood.

Lifetime Fitness is the only fitness center that I have found myself going back to in Omaha. This club continually updates and repairs their equipment. I havent been to another gym in Omaha that even comes close when looking at equipment quality and overall cleanliness. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone, especially those that have grown tired of other clubs in Omaha that take poor care of their facilities such as Genesis.

I have been a member for 11 years. I take the group fitness classes and get a complete workout. Dont be intimated if you are not in shape. The instructors motivate and offer modifications for different exercises.

Really nice gym - huge with incredible amount of equipment. Staff who I spoke with were nice, and cafe near entrance had many healthy options. Certainly worth a stop if youre in the area.

Possibly one of the best gyms in Omaha with everything included. The price is higher than many other gyms but even if you utilize a fraction of everything they have to offer, you will definitely get what you pay for and more. Its worth it to make the investment in your health and a place like Lifetime will keep you motivated to working out and staying active.

This is a large facility with gobs of cardio machines. Their kids area is fantastic and where they make their extra stars. Normal times you can just drop your kids off for a couple of hours. Right now you can book a week out for an hour. Their lap pool is set at 80 while their indoor leisure pool is at 88. Their hot tub is huge and had two waterfalls. Their are multiple saunas and a great family locker room.

Lots of equipment, the greatest group of early morning people ever. So many training options. Plus its clean and spacious.

First time going several weeks ago and found it to be extremely nice and REALLY enjoyed the class I took!!! Staff was extremely nice and all aspects of the facility were very nice. In addition, they have a great cafe to grab a healthy bite if youre hungry thought was a very nice touch.Recommend checking out if you havent already!!!

As a person with special needs - I find this establishment incredible! The staff are so attentive to whatever I need or ask for. Additionally, the patrons are also incredible kind. Always opening doors and helping me out as well. If you have special needs -use a wheelchair, walker or cane - five Lifetime a shot. You will find it a very welcoming place!!

Life changing.

Just recently checked out Life Time fitness, got a free pass on a Thursday and tour and the very next day Friday joined. Love everything about this place, professional and friendly employees. Not to mention the great array of equipment, I have never used a rock climbing wall before and now I cant get enough. My son loves the place as well and has already lost a pound within a week. I plan to continue going here for as long as possible.

We love Lifetime. The child care, sauna, pools, and rockwall are amazing! There are three reasons we give a four instead of a 5.1. We had the pleasure of going to Lifetime Sky Manhattan and they had a cold plunge that was AMAZING and Omaha doesnt have one.2. Omaha, doesnt have a coed steamroom.3. The fixtures, showers, and hot tub could use some updating. For the money we pay for our membership, we expect that the gym will be kept nice.

Good staff and a lot of equipment, just wish there were two locations in Omaha to spread the members out a bit.

Ive only had good experiences with Life Time. Ive been a member for a little over two years and use the gym 3-4 times a week. Obviously, there are busy times and there are quieter times. If you dont like to workout with a lot of people around, go at 11 am or 8 pm. If you like people watching between sets (lets be honest, there are some beautiful people working out in West Omaha) then go at 6:30 am or 5 pm. They offer yoga, spin, and all sorts of group fitness classes as part of the membership.

I made a mistake and forgot to come in and sign a form to cancel some lessons I had my daughter signed up for and when I was charged I called and Michelle returned my call almost right away and was very helpful and informative about their process and offered a refund even thought it was my mistake. The whole family loves this gym! Close to home, great options not just for classes, but the pool (inside and out), cafe, daycare, clinics, training, nutrition counseling, and more. I do wish the lessons (swimming, reformer, swim team, alpha, and group training) were more reasonably priced... they are basically double the cost at any other gym. I have always received a good morning or thank you, have a great day at every visit. My kids always have fun at the daycare. Im thankful for all the available options and equipment.

This gym is amazing! Great workout equipment with a lot of space, climbing wall, basketball courts, 2 indoor pools and an outdoor pool, childcare, the biggest hot tub Ive ever seen and a lot more. The only problem is they dont offer any deals for people over 55 which is important to me because my mother-in-law joined and shes almost 60. Expensive when you think about what she actually uses there.

Youve seen it a thousand times in these reviews - cancellation policy is CRIMINAL. If you want to sign up for an account and have a credit card, youre done online or over the phone in 10 minutes. OH! You want to cancel? Send a certified letter or come in person. So the ease and flow of money only works in one direction. Its like getting out of the mob. You know what their response to this will be? You signed our terms. Laughable. Why dont they just put and give us all your money in the terms? Or your soul? You want my soul lifetime?!!!

The steam spa is fabulous! Love this place! Little cafe for smoothie boost is great with the girls. My daughter wants the infused natural aroma thearpy treatment for every shower. Great place, great vibes!

I love Life Time Fitness! There is so much energy at this club that it makes you want to work out and work out harder. There are an abundant of group classes that will fit every persons fitness level, exercise preference and schedule. The classes are absolutely awesome! If you think you are in good shape now, try some group classes and I guarantee they will challenge you!

Although its a nice gym and have a nice basketball court FOR MEMBERS... they use half the gym for mens league and the other is being used for judo class but only use a small portion of the court not even half. The judo instructors are very rude and tell you to get off the court and there using the WHOLE GYM when you pay quite a bit of money to play basketball but arent even allowed to use it needs to be fixed because its a RIP off. Dont plan on going back.

Horrible service I ever have!!We have joined LT for a year. And when we joined, the manager told us we can cancel or on hold anytime. We are leaving from Omaha this Sun and come back one month later. But when I called to ask rep hold my account, the rep said we have to sign the paper, so we have to find a time to go to LT Omaha.I went to LT today and tried to sign the paper, the manager was so rude and said, you can cancel or on hold anytime WITH 30 DAYS NOTIFICATION! What? When we joined LT and cancel our training class, they just keep telling us we can cancel or on hold ANYTIME, ANYTIME, ANYTIME! When we really need to get our account on hold for a month, she told us they need 30days notification and she cannot do anything for us.Worst company experience I ever have! I really think they didn’t trust you as their customer!!

NEVER AGAIN! Weve had a horrible experience! We canceled our membership at LT months ago and they continued charging us. We personally went to LT Omaha to cancel 3 TIMES...3 TIMES! We have email proofs of the cancellation. They continued charging us! We put a bank CC stop and they threatened to send us to collections. WHAT! They said we had to provide a doctors note that we could not go, to be able to receive a full reimbursement. THEY CHARGED OVER $500 when we continuously CANCELED!!! Horrible service and accounting staff at LT! WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

Sorry, this is so long winded. I had a membership at the one in Houston for a couple months in 2009. I was thinking about getting a membership at the one here so I went in to see about the 7 day free trial. On day 7 I SIGNED a cancel request because it was just too busy all the time. A month later, not only did I not get refunded the $70, but got charged again! I immediately reached out to the sales rep who signed me up to notify him of the issue. Apparently corporate saw I had a membership 10 years ago at the Houston location so I didnt qualify for the 7 day free trial.The sales rep didnt say anything about my previous membership disqualifying me for a free trial when he was signing me up!Since I didnt qualify for the 7 day free trial, they required a 30 day notice to cancel, so that outs me up to $140. Well believe it or not I got charged another $50 on the 3rd month! Apparently the sales rep wasnt sure if I still wanted to cancel or not since I didnt return his calls, texts, or Facebook messages so he waited to put in my cancel request! Probably one of the worst company experiences Ive ever had.

As a frequent business traveler Ive enjoyed the access to lifetime clubs all across the country. This club is like most other gold clubs and I appreciate the familiarity. My only complaint being that some of the supplementary equipment is old or lacking. Foam rollers are scarce and so worn out/soft that they barely serve their intended purpose.

Lifetime Fitness SAVED MY MARRIAGE! I moved my family to the coldest place in the middle of the country and said Im going to work, good luck and Lifetime was a dream come true. It is a spa, a pool, a fun park, a gym, classes in yoga, Zumba, dance, kids, basket ball, rock climbing, everything. I love this place and the food is awesome too.

Ive been going here for about 10 years and would highly recommend it. The locker rooms are clean, staff is courteous, equipment is maintained well, and the trainers are knowledgeable and helpful.

Best fitness facility in Omaha.

Ive been member for a little over a month and really like it. I havent encountered any of the customer service issues that others reference here and everyone has been pleasant to speak with. It is a little crowed sometimes around the lifting machines, but not as bad as some gyms and I dont have a problem working in circuits. I am mostly here to do triathlon training.....so swimming, treadmills and functional equipment is what I use. When I do resistance training, the machines I need are available. Finding pool lane time was a little challenging. I do swim in the evenings so that isnt usually an issue. I have found one thing that is a little disturbing, I would say that a majority of the whirlpool users do not shower. I can imagine this is hard to enforce. All in all I like it.

Nice up[scale gym with good crowd to keep you motivated, free towels, sauna, steam, swimming pool jacuzzi. My son loves the kids center. Its on the pricier side.

Way over priced for the value received. I was also charged after my membership was cancelled. It has been a nightmare working with the corporate office to get this resolved.

Great place to work out

Bullshit gym. Everything nice about it is out the window when customer service sucks and u are constantly being told false information. We were told we would get our money back after trying for 14days. We cancelled and its 2 weeks later no money. Only to call and be told we missed by a day so they signed us up for a 45 dayember ship which will be expiring soon and we were never told about. But when we cancelled the lady looked it over and said yes u will get your money back. Why lie? And why not tell me about the membership that we get if we cancelled out of the 14 days? Im beyond pissed with this place! Not only did we lose $211 but we never used the 45 day membership that we qualified for that everyone failed to mention. Im sure this is illegal!

I went into the club on July 25th to cancel my membership. I called in because I check my LT account and their was no cancellation date. They insured me that would honor the cancellation. Now as of today which is two weeks later they informed me that they will not honor my cancellation for the date requested on the 25th of July and that i need to pay another month. They lost my paperwork and are now charging me for an extra month. I will not return to the club, and would not recommend this club to anyone as they are thieves.

They have a hilarious total lack of customer service. It is one thing that they have cancellation policies that make it inconvenient to cancel. It is another thing that they actually state to me well, if it is too inconvenient you could just not cancel. This is across multiple members of the organization. I give them 2 stars because it is a nice facility and a nice pool and there arent a lot of great alternatives in Omaha. Just dont expect any apology or sympathy for their strict cancellation policies let alone any actual exceptions.

Was in town for the holidays and came here to use a guest pass but was denied because member was not with me. I have several family members that are members here and all I wanted was to play basketball while my family was working during the day. I even had their membership card with me but the front desk was rude about the whole situation and basically tried getting me to buy a day pass. Complete joke. Understand gym is busy but wasnt going to hurt to let someone play basketball and not even occupy a machine. Facilities are decent but this rant is regarding their customer service.

This is a great gym. From out of town and the day pass was just $25. The staff was so nice when you walked in. Cant wait to come back to Omaha.

This place is an organizational hot mess! Everything from the moment you walk in is geared toward selling you personal training. If you don’t set one up right away the harassment to set one up is almost impressive. Extra amusing, I’m 8 months pregnant, definitely should not be trying new workouts, and they still keep pestering. Also, the Life Cafe and outdoor cafe are SO POORLY ran. I’ve never seen anyone working at them that appears to be over 16, orders get lost almost every time I’ve placed one, answers on what they offer are consistent only in their inconsistency and no one seems to care! It’s mind blowing how this place has functioned for this long. I know it’s cliche, but I genuinely wish I could give less than a star.

Worth the price! My wife and I go here with our 2 sons. They have everything we need and want! Sauna, steam, lap pools, water slides, indoor AND outdoor fun pools, hot tubs, free towels, great lockers, clean showers with shampoo and conditioner, family locker rooms, incredible instructors, huge basketball courts, racket ball, rock wall, crossfit type area, group classes, amazing food, massage, salon, and SOOO much more!!!!! We spend all our time there! The kids LOVE the play/learning areas!

This club and management wouldnt care as much about members as they do about enrollments.I have been a member at this club for several years. However, recently we had a family emergency and had to travel out of country overnight and had to stay back for a few months. Obviously we didnt have time to visit club to either cancel or put membership on hold. Once things settled, I made an international call to the club and explained my situation and requested for cancellation. The lady who answered the call explained that the cancellation policy requires that I visit the club and sign the form. However after I explained our situation, the lady promised that she will talk to the manager and sort it out. I thought it was resolved and rest assured only to realize after 4 months that my credit card is being billed every month. So, once I came back in town I had visited the club and explained the situation to the manager. She outright denied that they ever received the call and just reiterated the cancellation policy requires that I pay a personal visit. I felt shocked and betrayed. I was ashamed that I was part of such a club for years.Please be aware about their false commitments and their total apathy towards client situations. They just care about their enrollments. I will never ever consider this club again!

Bad business, Horrible customer service. Nice gym, but absolutely not worth it. Team member convinced me into signing up, and would not let me cancel a couple weeks later, ended up paying almost $200 for absolutely nothing. Quick to sign you up and take your money, but after that takes a very long process to cancel. Customer service very misleading, have never called back when promised. Now I know better. Reporting to the BBB.

As a family of 4 finding a gym let alone gym time is a challenge. Having a facility open 24/7 with dedicated professional staff is hard to come by. My wife sees a personal trainer and dietitian regularly, the kids participate in swimming lessons and utilize the day care frequently, and the Cafe is wonderful alternative to fast food on the go. But Lifetime is not without faults.Customer service tends to be a challenge after you sign up. The facility is clean but even during non-peak hours is crowded.Overall I would say I am a happy member at lifetime and cant wait to spend some R&R time by the pool this summer.

Probably the nicest gym in town if you can afford it!

I no longer live in a City where a Lifetime is located. I tried to cancel my membership multiple times. I went in and they told me I am sorry no one here currently can cancel memberships. They advised me to send in certified mail. So two times I send in certified mail and both times the letter sat in their mail box for 3 days. I tried calling and left voicemails no one ever answered my calls or returned my messages. This is ridiculous. I had to go to my bank have them put a stop payment to my account. This is a gym membership and I feel like I am trying to get out of a life long contract. ridiculous. I really liked Lifetime up until canceling my membership (because I moved 2 hours away from a location) was an issue.

This club will keep raising your membership fee. I was a 5 year member and every 6 months they would pretty much add to the price. I understand for new members but not your existing members. P.s. manager was complacent, hold your ego buddy - you can do better.

Predatory sales practices and poor management. I started a month to month membership shortly before a planned trip out of the country. I requested a hold be put on my account (which they acknowledged was not a problem) and nothing was done. I was charged for 5 months of membership fees as a result. It took 2 emails and multiple phone calls before I even reached someone who knew how to cancel my account. Genesis had better customer service.....thats saying something.

To reiterate what everyone else is saying: very nice facilities, HORRIBLE pricing, fees, and customer service. In my few months with them, heres ways they pillaged me.- Charge $70/month (my own fault, was under the impression it would be worth it. It wasnt). Also included some hidden fees to join which they said would get waived and never did.- Charged upgrade fees and membership change fees when I lived in Denver for a month and wanted to use a Lifetime there (membership only includes your home gym, unlike essentially every other corporate gym in the country such as 24 Hour).- Charge $20 for each one day GUEST PASS for your friend or family member! TWENTY DOLLARS! That includes just coming to lay out at the pool. $20 covers a month most places.- Would not let me cancel membership over the phone or internet. Had to show up in person, THEN they say they need a months notice (translation, you pay for an additional 30 days AFTER you cancel). And yes, no amount of arguing will help you change company policy.To summarize, the facilities are nice albeit crowded at peak times, but I would NEVER recommend it to anyone due to their obvious mission, which is make as much money as possible with a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. If you hate your hard-earned money and love brainwashed employees with no customer service capabilities, Lifetime might be your kind of gym. However, if you like your money and appreciate customer service, stay away...far away.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE gym! The staff is horrible at Returning phone calls! Isnt the client suppose to come first!? The gym is ALWAYS packed and we never had any room to do our workouts! We found a new gym that is WAY cheaper and close to home and the staff is AMAZING. I never right reviews but this is how much my fiancé and I hated lifetime!

I dont leave reviews often, but my experience this evening must be shared. Ive been going to Lifetime since the beginning of the year, and have been impressed with the whole facility - the rock climbing walk is a blast, plenty of equipment to use, classes are tons of fun. Just all around a great place.This evening, I locked my keys in my car. Its a common occurance, and I have AAA for just such an occasion...except when Ive used all my free car unlock services, and I still have 6 months until renewal. Sad day. Fortunately, the incredible gentleman at the front desk, Hunter, at my plea for assistance, went on a frantic search for a hanger, and together, with the help of another gym go-er, Tim, we successfully gained access to my vehicle.As the random guy parked next to me pointed out (before leaving without offering assistance), they really do everything for you at this place.

Inadequate and rude sales touch. I called asking the following simple question. I dont want to hold my account anymore, whats the best way to cancel the $10 monthly charge? Trevor was not at all courteous and abruptly stated I have to come in personally to cancel or mail a letter. No apologies, no further info and then he just hung up. This may or may not be an indication of how this business is run daily, but to me it shows an employee who doesnt know or doesnt care to follow sales training. Take note that often the most important person in a business is the one who corresponds with the clients outside the walls of the business.

Lifetime is a great overall gym! Has everything you would want to have a great workout, and dont have to wait for equipment. I especially like how it has a great balance of weight equipment too cardio equipment which has an awesome selection as well. Too many gym have so much cardio equipment and lack in terms of weights so lifetime is great in providing plenty of options to cater to your specific workout. Also the food at the cafe here is great convenient healthy, I especially enjoy the protein shakes. The pool in the summer time is always fun! Overall yes you will pay a little more to go here compared to other gyms, BUT you are getting your money’s worth in my opinion if you utilize all they have to offer if not then it will probably seem expensive. I would definitely recommend you check out lifetime fitness in Omaha if you looking to join an awesome gym!!!

Good to be back

Cancellation process is a scam! I no longer live in the area, and my year long membership ended today. I called to let them know I did not wish to renew. They told me that I would have to send in a certified letter or come in to cancel. they also said they would need a 30 day notice to stop payment. Long story short they are going to charge me $140.00 to cancel even though my contacted membership is over. I could care less about the money, but what poor customer service. I enjoyed my time there but, this leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
