Ive been used to going to Great Clips my entire life... I am in my late 20s and I have finally figured it was time to actually find a barber to keep coming back to instead of a different person unfamiliar with my head every time. The moment I walked in the door, he addressed me by name and I was impressed with his setup of vintage barbers tools and Chicago Cubs memorabilia.It is so easy to converse and if a relationship with your barber is what youd like after roaming the various generic cutting salons, your search will conclude here. He understands what you want your hair to look like and after 38 years of experience his cutting is superb - no missed tufts and no wingtips sticking out! I have not had a cut this smooth in my entire life.You know what else Ive never had done? Having the excess hair vacuumed off of me - I had always gone home itchy and not even getting to enjoy the fresh cut for the day without washing it all out. He cares greatly about you being able to comfortably take the experience with you and doesnt leave the mess all over you.Overall, I was floored by his blend of professionalism and personalism at the same time! He greatly enjoys your company walking into his shop and takes great pride in his craft. I recommend to the highest degree.
