These guys are always great. Automotive work always digs deep into your pockets, but they do excellent work and have really great customer service. Talking with them on the phone and at the front counter - I never feel like Im being talked down to because I dont know much about cars. They handled replacing my oxygen sensor, fixing my AC, and checking out my car after the now famous Omaha flood. Would recommend to a friend, and will continue going to them for my auto repair needs.

The AC service did everything I needed it for! Took a little longer than expected and definitely more expensive than expected for what was done (turns out all they had to do was add a little refrigerant).One weird thing is that I chose to wait and was in the waiting room about an hour. Whoever the employee was who was manning the front desk was in the office watching random YouTube/Facebook videos almost the entire time (except a few brief moments when a customer came in) that had tons of profanity being blasted pretty loud through the room. Didn’t really bother me but just seemed really unprofessional/unproductive to me.The guys seemed trustworthy and so I’ll probably try them out a few more times as I’m deciding on a mechanic still being relatively new here.

Consistently straightforward and honest - in a recent instance they inspected a tire but did not charge us because there was no repair required ( a nail that they found had not broken through the tread ). These guys go above and beyond! I brought my car in because it had been leaking oil, and they found several issues I was not aware of. Mike walked me through all of the problems and offered to bring me into the shop and show me everything he was talking about. After going over the price breakdown, he helped me figure out exactly what needed to be fixed now and what could wait until later. He also helped me weigh pros and cons of trading my car in vs. fixing it, and offered to look over any cars I would be interested in buying for no charge. When I came back the next day to pick my car up, everything was good to go, and as a bonus, they had resecured my bumper, which had been busted and dangling off the car on one side, for free. Very happy with the service, and I will 100% be back in the future!

Mike and co are casual in demeanor but professional in their work ethic. Another well-regarded shop in midtown quoted a fix for my small car that was thousands of dollars - Mike with his expertise in fabricating was able to bring it in under $500. This was a pretty big deal fix, and I felt respected and had clear idea of what and how the work was done. In the end, the car sounds great! I had to take it back within a few weeks to get more freon for the AC, and they were able to do that quickly. Good shop - theyve won me over.

Incredible service at a very reasonable price!We were about to drive back to Chicago at 8am when we realized our tires were losing air. We rolled up without booking an appointment and the team figured out the problem and replaced the pressure gauges on two tires in under an hour. Not only that but Brian rang me a month later just to thank me for my business and wish me a good day - now thats service!

Shop nearly double their price on an exhaust system ofter original price was given. Then when told no Ill wait till another shop has the opening to do it they started bad mouthing another company and claiming they lie about the work they do. I dont take kindly to companys that try to get a sale by pretending they are the best and Making things up about people who have a good reputation in the car scene

I was visiting my daughter and had issues with my tires. She recommended Midtown Auto Service. The staff got me in quickly and diagnosed the problem. They explained everything and got me out of there for a reasonable fee. I would not hesitate to go back.

To the reviews about the signage. This is a free country that allows each individual the right to free speech. Just as your crying about how the signs offend you, your post offends me. You are entitled to your opinions but keep them to yourself. Those signs are not derogatory nor insensitive but rather you are a child that needs to grow up and learn that life does not revolve around you. Be an adult and deal with it. With that said I will be utilizing Midtown Auto Service for all my future repair needs and hope that they do not feel pressured to change minuscule aspects of decoration due to the bad taste of a few crybabies.P.S. My Chevy also identifies as a Ferrari.And like any other adult parent I also identify as the Tooth Fairy, Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny and the guy that has no problems speaking his mind.

I know that when I call Midtown Auto with an issue or bring in my vehicle for a check-up, I will be getting an honest answer about what work realistically needs to be done, how much it will realistically cost, and what the best options are. Stay away!!! Severely damaged my son in laws car by sawing through the upper oil filter housing with a hacksaw when they couldn’t get the oil filter off, then covered it in sealant to hide the problem. He openly admitted doing it and acted as if this is completely normal. He caused $3600 in damage.

Happy to leave Mike and they guys their first review since rebranding. Ive been taking my car here for almost three years, and would even think of going anywhere else. The fact that they always take time to explain whats wrong, why its a problem, and whether or not to fix or ignore it, really seals the deal.

Mike and gang are just awsome. Their no nonsense, and put customers first. I went to him quite a bit years ago before I moved out if omaha, and now when I had a car problem while up for a visit, was sure to go to him again. When things went awry, he went to find me a rental to use. When rentals werent available, they went so far to bring me one of their personal cars to use. Knowing that I live an hour away, they were still willing to loan me one of their cars to make sure I could get the kids home and back up tomorrow. Words cant express how grateful I am of their help in getting my car back up and safe to drive again.

Staff is very friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. Never had a bad experience of any sort with them in 2 years and plan to keep going there for my auto service and repair needs.

Called on Friday to schedule an alignment spoke to a really nice gentleman. He told me they are running a special for $65.99 and go ahead an schedule an apt. I told him I just had my tie rods done and the shop didnt have the equipment to do the alignment. He told me that wasnt an issue. I called the shop that did my work to let them know about Midtown so his customers could be happy. Turn of events!! I called this morning to make the apt. He said they dont make apts and that special doesnt exist. I told him that I spoke to someone else on Friday and while on the phone with me consulted everyone in the shop and CONFIRMED that that was the information given and told me it would be at least $120 because he was adjusting someone elses tie rod job and he could see how I was confused but I told him I relayed that information to the gentalman that I spoke with and he told me they actually work with several shops in town to do the exact same thing. Then the person today told me, You know what, Im not going to be able to help you. Take it to Homans Auto in Bellevue! Their price really is $69.99 and I made sure to tell him after my horrific experience at Midtown that I recently got my tie rods done and he said that is not a problem at all and they have a loaner car. Save yourself the time, money, and mistreatment.
