Made an appointment online for an oil change and literally 2 minutes later I get a call to reschedule since they were booked that day which I appreciated how quickly they contacted me.Upon arrival you can sense the quick paced environment and will most likely be waiting for a few minutes before someone is able to help you/check you in. It didnt bother me too much expect for when I was staring at my keys on the counter for some time after my car was done and no one had rang me out yet. But again, its an auto shop so it should be expected to be busy.I had picked the wrong oil package (my car takes synthetic oil) and was alerted right away about the cost difference. They quoted me 45 minutes and thats exactly how long it took for my car to be done. Didnt tinker with my car or try to up-sale me. Will be going back in the near future.

Grate service, polite and friendly. Prices were a bit high but well worth the work. Had a broken serpentine belt/ wheel barring/ broken links near both rear tries and oil change for under 900 dollars.

I had gone to other mechanics to get estimates on repairing my AC and the quotes were astronomical.A co-worker whose opinion I trust recommended this Midas location.Just a different experience altogether, in a good way.1) They diagnosed the AC problem as something different than the other mechanics.2) They came in so much lower on the quote for the AC repair, that I was able to get a couple of other things fixed (and an oil change) for less than the other shops quotes just for fixing the AC.3) I understand that sometimes a shop can find more costs once they get under the car/hood, but the price they quoted me for the repairs and oil change was the exact cost I ended up paying.4) I got my car in around 8:30 am and it was ready by 3pm. (Other mechanics told me theyd have to keep it overnight.And the AC works great!Ive found a new regular repair shop. Im so happy about that since I had not found one in Omaha yet that I really liked.

First visit and I was impressed. Derrick and Joe were great walking me through what they found and how they fixed my vehicle as well as recognizing me when I came back to pick up even though they were clearly busy. Definitely a great location to go to for anyone who doesnt know a ton about cars, theyll help you understand and make a good decision.

I thought I was having a problem with a muffler that was replaced a few months ago. I took it back to the place where it was installed because it was still under warranty. I left it to be checked out. The shop called later and said the muffler had been replaced but the car needed a resonator, for an additional charge or the noise might start again. I decided to wait have the resonator done because I needed the car that day. On the way home I noticed the noise was still there. I decided to take it to Midas. Almost immediately a mechanic took the car for a drive. They found that the problem was not the muffler or a resonator but a wheel bearing. They explained the problem and the cost. It was repaired in a couple of hours and I was on my way. The shop is well managed and the staff is professional and friendly. I highly recommend this Midas location.

I went to this Midas location off dodge street to get some brake work done. Typically pads and rotors will run around $300 to get done. This time I had a caliper sticking as well and needed replaced. This clown working on my car quoted me a total of $1150 and it would take three hours. Breakdown of costs, pads are 42.99 rotars are 50.00 a piece and calipers are 77.99 a piece. Parts for this total about 300 before tax, this clown wanted 850 labor. I said no, I was gonna price around, and this (not very nice guy) started getting an attitude with me. In my opinion, stay away from these guys as they are frauds.

Went in for my 2006 Chrysler touring minivan with the 3.8 l just coming up on 84, it started making a ticking noise I thought it was the pulley and the rear of the motor compartment but the guy is quickly found out that it was the water pump main bearing going it was wobbling so they quoted me on the price and it was a little bit below what I thought it would normally be and I figured while I was in there and paying the money to tear it apart put a new harmonic balancer cuz I guess those are pretty common I could see it wobbling so weve replaced it new serpentine belt cuz might as well while youre in there so I dont have to worry about it and a radiator tflush runs a lot cooler now but the guys are pretty fast went in there with no appointment the day before they kept it overnight and the next day it was good and ready to go and also needed one an oil change for my girlfriends 2018 equinox and they got it right in that same night

Quoted me $184 over the phone. Brought my car in for service. They told me they would add a new spark plug ($24) which I agreed to. After they finished they told me the ignition coil was $30 more expensive. In the end my bill ended up being $282 which is a far cry from the quote and even the adjusted value after the extra price for parts. Total scam.

One of the better mechanic shops in town. Actually looks into whats wrong instead of assuming. Never once have I felt like they were trying to price gouge me, in fact they try to save me money. I take both of my cars here for everything from brakes to engine work to oil change. Midas gets all of my automotive business.

Im restoring an 85 Firebird Trans Am and only have a few fixes left. Unfortunately, whoever had previously owned the vehicle had a horrible exhaust system put in that I couldve done better and the pipes fractured. Im very protective over my car, I love her dearly. I took her to a couple places to get a quote and to talk about possible avenues for a new system similar to the dual pipe style that it had (not the stock).Every other place I went to treated me like I didnt know anything because I was a woman (apparently the words Im restoring a Firebird didnt make sense to them), charged me incredibly high, or told me they couldnt do it. I went to Midas and they lifted her to take a look with me. Joe and Joey both gave it a once-over and started coming up with ideas. Thanks to their creativity and expertise, I was able to get the design I wanted custom welded together with new stainless still parts and dual tips that matched the car even better (their recommendation!). They seemed so confident that they were more than able to do it when other places looked at me like I was crazy.When I came to pick her up I had them lift it again so I could see the job and the welding is top notch. Incredibly professional. I even took pictures to brag about it to some of my other car enthusiast friends. My quote, which already seemed incredibly reasonable at $560+change for labor AND all the parts ended up being actually about $30 cheaper. They never spoke to me like I was anything but another person that loved their hotrod, they reassured me theyd take good care of her, and my God am I impressed. Props to Joes management of staff/customer service and Joeys passion for doing good work on an old gal with his incredibly flawless welding.

My motor blower went out and I brought the part in. I was quoted 150.00. While I went to the dealership and was quoted only 90.00. The only reason i went to midas is because I have always went midas and trusted that I would get a good price. I dont think I will be coming back anymore. Never did I think I would be cheated by you guys.

Good guys, great work, fair prices

I was told I had transmission issues, was charged $250, and when I took it to my regular mechanic the next day was told they didn’t touch my transmission, instead they just replaced my spark plugs unauthorized. Not only that, they destroyed the external casing so I can’t take half of them out anymore. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemies

Custom Exhaust was literally falling off my truck and held on by chains. Contacted Midas since reviews were positive and theyre walking distance from my house. They told me to bring it in that day to have a look. Their diagnosis was the same as mine so I knew they werent trying to oversell me. Joe took me to the lift and had me talk to the tech (also very personable and got a kick out of the chains) to explain exactly what I wanted. Then walked home.Few hours later they called up, walked to pick up the truck and the exhaust was exactly how I explained I wanted it. I even had them give me bids on other work that the truck will need. Very helpful and I was fortunate enough to get same day service. I will be using this location again. Thanks gentlemen.

I feel like maybe they told me that some things that were wrong with my car that I am doubtful about- very top dollar pricing-

I went in asking for front brake replacement and was lied too and told I needed new front rotors . Do not try and gouge your women customers to pad your own pockets now you get none of my money. The tech also left his tool in my car which I had to bring back because I am an honest woman. Ridiculous!!!!

Had to call to make a appointment for our BMW X5 that the right side exhaust pipe split at the weld. Was being told buy other shops that probably need new muffler assembly which would have been very pricey since it was just out of warranty and it being that time of year to be buying other things. Told them what happened had me come in with the piece and told me no problem and welded it back on and hooked it back up and sounds and looks good as new. Was in and out in 40 mins. Thank you for the fast and great service.

These mechanics are good at there job. They seem very knowledgeable, courteous and nice. We take all of our vehicles here for service. The only downfall is they seem a little bit pricey, but I think all mechanic shops are now days. Overall these guys are worth it because I trust them, and they will try and find Midas coupons to help you get a discount.

I got a flat tire driving down Dodge St. I pulled onto a side street and walked over to Midas for help. Tyler and Hunter came to my rescue. They put on the spare and then patched my tire. It proves there are still good hearted people in the world. Thanks fellas!!

Ive had the pleasure of bringing our family cars to this shop at least six times. On each occasion Ive been treated with respect and listened to. They work quickly, offer suggestions for maintenance (without being manipulative), complete work on time.My experience has been great. But, while Im waiting for my repair to be completed - I overhear the experience of other customers, I watch them helping other people. I have heard them working with people to make repairs and not totally bust their family budget. This is so rare and appreciated. That is where I see the caring.Good people running this shop.

I’ve been going to this location for a few years. They are my number one go to place. Joe and his team are very honest and explain care car in simple terms. They have treated me well. I do wish they were open Sundays though because there have been times when i had a car issue on a Sunday.

Would not recommend. I had a 2008 Chevy Cobalt they did an oil change on. I had another six months until a new oil change, 2 months later my engine chains broke and they told me i had bad oil in my car. I paid $80.

Ive always been a huge fan of Midas and that has not changed over the two years that Ive been going to them almost exclusively. Ive had many visits for work varying between regular oil changes, replacement of wheel bearings and transmission work. The people of Midas have always made sure I was on the same page as them by explaining what they found etc and were always very thorough when answering questions. Work for me has always been quick and done correctly. Midas has people who are very honest and people who arent just trying to make a quick buck off of you.

They were very helpful...to my pocket book!! They got me great, charged me a mint for work done from which my mechanic at home could not find done!! I was 4 hrs from home and I feel really taken advantage of!!!

The manager at the on on dodge and 75th was over the top. He went way above and beyond his job to help my son and I. I know that he didnt have to but it was awsome and i will definitely be back AND definitely tell people the great job he and his crew did. Thanks !
