Brian and Elijah were great to work with. Brian took the time to patiently explain all the suggestions. For me, I just always expect to get the usual call of, well, here is what else is wrong with your car beyond what I brought it in for. It was no different this time from that perspective, but the manner in which Brian took the time to go over it was different. While any business has to make money, and for car places, they need to get additional services, it also cant be at the compromise of integrity and if you really do need the service. Brian took the time to explain what was needed or potentially needed and why, calmly and really simply doing his job really well. Overall the services and prices were appropriate (except for the cabin filter/air filter changes as those take less than 5 minutes each on my own). Id recommend this location without any reservation. Brian really does represent the auto services industry incredibly well!

HORRIBLE ETHICS AND NO HONESTY.I took my truck here to have my rack & pinion replaced since I dont have time. They told me I had $5,000 worth of problems I needed to fix. One of the first things was a serpentine belt. I just so happened to change my serpentine belt two days before this, so it was brand new. On my estimate they said it was worn. On the phone when I called, they told me they go off of mileage and didnt even look at it. So they didnt even look at my belt and were trying to charge me for a new one and installation. When confronted about this they were speechless and didnt know how to respond... They said they will ask a mechanic. Looks like they might judge everyones vehicle off of mileage and wont even look at it. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere.

They are super sweet and helpful. My family and I have gone to them for over 7 years. My mother used to always make them burritos and tamales for how nice they’ve always been. Dean, Brian, Connor are always professional, polite, and understanding. From the front staff to the cleanliness of the bathrooms I always feel at home here. The techs always do a great job and they explain the services their recommending, why you would want to do them, and realistically how long you have to do them. Ive never been upsold even when declining a service. Finding an honest mechanic and a good reputable shop is hard, but these folks make it easy. I had to have an engine replaced, wheel bearings done, brakes, shifter and I wouldnt think of taking my vehicle elsewhere. They will earn and keep your trust.

I caught a flat tire and slowly drove over from the gas station, hoping they could help me. THEY WERE AMAZING!! They do not do tires, but they took off my bad wheel, the tire was off the rim, took it over to discount tire for me and had a new one put on. They then put the new tire on my car for me!!!! I had all 4 of my kids with me, they didnt have shoes because we were only going to grab some McDonalds for breakfast drive thru. They welcomed us in the store out of the cold. I wanted to give them some money, but he refused to take it!!! They saved me TONS of money, time and heartache! I cannot thank you enough! If I could give more stars I would!!

Out of their way helpful. I was stuck there due to a blown tire with a 4 year old and 8 week old puppy. They did not have a the tools or resources to fix my tire, but did everything possible to get me on the road including driving my rim to discount tire to have the tire put on. Brian probably was one of the most trustworthy mechanical advisor Ive encountered. He and his crew spent good 2 hours on my car to double check issues brought up by my dealership, even after I told him theres a good chance I might trade in the car and wont repair in his place, he still went extra mile and did a very thorough job inspecting it and pointed the problems to me. And wont take any compensation for their time for diagnostic work. Highly recommend Brian and his shop, Ill do all my future non dealership-designated work there.

AMAZING SERVICE. This was my first experience with this company and I was very pleased with the service. I called in and spoke with a very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman by the name of Brian Mann. Brian scheduled me an appointment so I wouldnt have to wait for service. He gave me his business card, I gave him my keys, and out the door I went. On the way to my vehicle I was greeted by a gentleman who introduced himself as Brandon. He was very polite and said he was one of the mechanics on staff there.Brian contacted me a little while later and he gave me the exact price it would take to get my vehicle back to tip top shape. The price was fair and I gave them permission to proceed. I appreciated the phone call and the upfront way these folks do business.A couple of hours later Brain called again and said my vehicle was all ready for pickup. They did great work. It has been two days now and my car is running perfectly. I think it is worth mentioning that the mechanic who did the work was also named Brandon (there must be two Brandons there), and he really seemed to know what he was doing.This is a great shop with a wonderful crew of gentlemen working there and I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of auto service.

The dudes at brake plus are legit. They have always done me right at multiple of their Omaha locations. They dont just look for things to tell you need replaced. How early is something hard to find today at service stations. So I recommend this place with high regards. I bring my vehicle 3 hours from Kansas City to have it worked on there when visiting family in Omaha!

This location is great! I brought in my car for a new battery because it wasn’t starting 100% of the time and they let me know the battery didn’t need replaced. We found the correct solution. Good to know this place cares about its clients and doesn’t just replace something to make money. We will keep going back here time and time again!

Called ahead to schedule the work, dropped the car off using the overnight key drop, they had my car up and running again the next day.

Im always able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time and the work they perform is great. They give great recommendations on maintenance work for the vehicle, but are never overly pushy and are great about letting you know how much everything will cost.

Took my daughters car to get an oil change. She asked for regular oil and they used synthetic and made us pay for synthetic even though we protested.On the positive side, the work was done on time and they were nice just didnt do what we asked for.

They broke my hubcap and didn’t mention it to me. They also used my ice scraper to clear the back windshield and ripped the sticker also tried to persuade my mother into thinking it was dangerous to drive with warped rotors when it is not. Overall they did a great jobs on the breaks.

I spent a couple hours on Christmas Eve getting new brakes. Just like the last time I was here, Brian took care of me. This shop will prey on whomever they can to up their sales.First, I took down my first review because I decided maybe I was jumping the gun, but as it turns out, this is worse than I first thought!My mother made an appointment for an alignment with this store. My husband is a mechanic and he just replaced her struts. They have the car up for a few minutes and come back out to her and tellher that she needs new tie rods because hers are loose and then they proceeded to try to prove it to her by wiggling her tire. So, thankfully my mother isnt an idiot and didnt fall for their preying on older women tactic and brought her back back to my husband to check out. Turns out the tie rods do need replacing, but not because they are loose as these people alleged and tried to convince my mother was the case. They need replacing because one of the boots has a tear in it. There is absolutely no reason why the alignment couldnt have been done, but my mother isnt a woman to be preyed upon by mechanics who think women are idiots. We will replace the tie rods, and then get the alignment elsewhere.Attaching a pic of the tie rod in question that was definitely not loose at all. Also $120 for tie rods at this place and we can get them online for $24. Just saying. Think before you let a mechanic do work on your vehicle. And price compare. YouTube has all sort of tutorials for the mechanically challenged and with the right tool my mother could change out the tie rods on her own vehicle in about half an hour.

They broke a lug nut when removing one of my tires and charge me $70 for another one. My car was stuck at the shop for ran excessive amount of extra time and caused me to be 45 minutes late to a doctors appointment (which I had to reschedule and pay a penalty for) since they said it wouldnt be safe to drive a car with a tire missing a lug nut.

Have been coming here for a bit over a year for oil changes and brakes for our 3 family vehicles. Dean and Brian seem to always recognize me and I appreciate their friendly and professional demeanor.

So let me start by saying I went in for a simple brake job and they tried to quote me 2600. They said I needed more work done than I actually did. They couldn’t even answer simple question when I asked about labor and how many hours the over 800 dollars word be equivalent to he just said that’s the estimate I can’t answer that. When I asked so could it end up being more he said Absolutley it could. So I went for a second opinion and when I got directly back in the car to go down the street it instantly flashed low brake fluid and emergency brake light wouldn’t shut off. So come to find out the second mechanic I went to said they never put your brake fluid cap back on. Wow. I took it to a great mechanic that someone referred me to and not only was he upfront honest and didn’t take me for things I didn’t need. Don’t GO Here

When I arrived they took my vehicle back, did the oil change and completed a full inspection. Bill asked if he could show me some things they found on my car. It ended up being a couple of things that needed to be repaired sooner rather than later. I really appreciated Bills patience with my questions and showing me the specifics of what is wrong with my car. It made me feel like I was in control of the situation. Honesty! My suvs turbocharger went bad after only having 45K miles on it. After them checking it and determining it was bad, they told me to check with a dealership to see if it would be covered under warranty. It was, this saved us around $3,000! As we bought the car used we had no idea that the car would have a 60K mile power train warranty. Brakes Plus could have made an easy $3,000 of of us but they told me to check first. So glad I did, Thanks!

I recently had to take my car in for a recall at the local dealership and while I was there I was told that my car needed an alignment. I was told it was extremely out of alignment and was handed a paper “showing” me how out of alignment it was. They wanted to do the alignment and charge me $178 for this service. I know never to have a dealership do work unless under warranty because their prices are so high. So I called Brakes Plus right away to make an appointment. They got me in the same day and ran tests on my car. Bill came in and told me that actually my alignment on my car is fine and that there is no reason to have an alignment done at this time. I truly appreciate the honesty and know that I can trust them to not recommend a service that I don’t need. They have gained a new customer and I highly recommend them.

I started experiencing grinding and after a quick diagnosis, they helped me figure out how to take care of the issue and then got me in and out last minute. Starter seamed to be out. But ended up being something electrical or a sensor they couldnt fix. They ran Diagnostics all. Couldnt figure out the problem but only charged me for the toe over there.

Made a same day appointment for an alignment, car was taken around withing 5 minutes of me arriving. The gentleman that checked me in was fast, courteous and very accommodating....Update: they just finished and came and told me that it actually checked out and didnt need an alignment. I was surprised to hear that there was no charge. Absolutely amazing to find an honest service center. Will definitely be using this location in the future

Just called into the place and was talking to Steve. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was asking him roughly what it cost to replace my rear pads cause I just replaced the front. He said you need to bring it in here and Ill give you a estimate. I said is there any time that works and he started getting frustrated and saying well when we’re open. Making snarking remarks and then proceeds to hang up on me before I even finish talking and asking questions. Unbelievable definitely won’t bring my vehicle here anytime soon.

This is a very good location and the managers here are great! Its a top notch group that treats its customers very well. I was quoted a very high amount of money from the BMW dealership to do my engine and brake fluid service. They did just as good of a job but for less than half the cost and they provided me with a shuttle to and from my place. I would highly recommend this location and place to have your vehicle serviced. Do not hesitate these guys rock! SS
