Express helped me to find a job in my field and with a business that fit who I am and what I was looking for. Each week I checked in with them, I let them know if I had found a job and if I was still job searching, which I know sounds weird, but it makes sense. It took about 2 months to find the right job for me. During that time they updated me on the jobs they had and if I wanted to apply for that job. There was a few jobs that I chose not to apply for because the hours would not have worked out with child care and they didnt seem to get upset or have any problem with. From the moment I signed up I was treated with respect and kindness. I was at a low point in my life and in my career when I found Express. I had been laid off due to COVID-19 and had lost my apartment because unemployment was so backed up they werent able to pay me in time. Seriously, last straw with this place. Last year they didnt even tell me I didnt have a job anymore until I was locked out of my logins for the position and had to call THEM and ask why. They dont care about getting you a job once they got you the first one, you may as well just fall through the cracks. I get ignored, time and time again. Now I try to call and ask if they happen to have any relevant positions up as I know that the postings online are rarely up to date, especially if made more than a week ago. And I get a condescending explanation of how to google their website, and hung up on when I say Im already there. Worst hiring agency Ive ever worked under, and Im done giving them chances.

I began with her clear back in 2008 and after my first contact and meeting she had me placed within a week to a job that was perfect for me and that I loved. I was offered permanent employment in just 90 days with this company. Fast forward six years, and it was again Dory who I went to when I was looking to change my career path. The Olympia, WA branch is a nightmare! The right hand never knows what the left is doing, they have no idea which jobs are filled and which ones are empty. They communicate through text, and even if you respond within 5 minutes, all of a sudden, the job is filled or they just respond no.They say they are new and improved, but that is a false statement. While the staff was friendly and polite, my reason for going, was to obtain work. I went a month without even getting sent out for an interview. Went elsewhere across town and they found me 2 positions to choose from the in the first week. I wish I hadnt wasted my time here.

I have had a wonderful experience with the Olympia Express Employment Professionals office. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful and immediately got me started on my path to employment. The turn around was extremely fast as they called me back that same day for an interview with Dory Chase, the Office Manager and Staffing Consultant. I have extensive office, IT and customer service experience, as well as a M.S. degree in Geographic Information Systems and Technology. I went into Express expecting to find temporary work that would pay the bills while I found a career in my field, however, Dory immediately found me an IT position that is far and above what I was expecting and opens up many opportunities for further government based employment. After my retirement, I worked several jobs for the Olympia office having Rebecca as my contact person. I found her, as well as, the other staff members to be very helpful and professional. I was impressed with her willingness to work around my schedule and provide jobs I was comfortable performing. I enjoyed working with her and the Express staff to the point I recommended their office to my granddaughter for summer employment. My nephew also worked summer employment prior to finding a full time job. I am no longer working, however, I highly recommend Express to anyone wanting part or full time employment.

I worked with this branch for a few months the jobs they placed me in were let’s say low quality. After I found a good fit they had an issue paying me what the original offer was. once that got resolved (after me being out 3.00 an hour for a few weeks)I had an emergency come up and had to walk from the placement. it’s been over a month and I still haven’t received my last paycheck. the next placement after that sent me to the wrong location and burned my fuel to get to and from then they placed me at a meat packing plant saying 8 hour shifts that ended up requiring 12 to 14 hours they are unorganized and when they make mistakes it comes out of their clients or temp workers pocket. I don’t recommend working with this branch also when you try to resolve issues regarding pay they bounce you around and everyone is to busy to help you if your looking for serious work your better off checking Craigslist. I would say that they were irresponsible and unprofessional and I actually got a lecture from their receptionist about filling out time cards that they are often out of stock I actually had to go to a different office to get some I would give them negative stars if possible

I had been fired from my job that I had for little over a year. But after coming here, three days later this company put me in a job I love even more. The staff is great and willing to help as much as possible.

Worst temp agency in Olympia. I have had high hopes about current admin/customer service positions from Stephen, Samantha, and Nicola then nothing. No email, phone calls or follow ups. This has happened three times. It seems like they take your resume and shred it as soon as you leave their office.

When I went into Express Employment Professionals (Olympia, WA) I was greeted by a warm but professional atmosphere. The woman, April, that sits up at the front most of the time is informative, real, and very friendly. But nothing could prepare me for Dory Chase. Shes an incredible woman that looks like she walked out of a JC Penny catalog. Dont let it intimidate you. Open up to her, she will actually listen to you. I had had the hardest time getting work after I was fired for having Postpartum Anxiety. I told Dory all about my experience. My husband has PTSD also. So, we had some things to work around. Dory literally kept my issues and strengths in mind when looking for work for me. She thought the job I had originally applied for would be too much stress so I followed her guidance and we moved on to another opportunity.Yesterday, I was given the job permanently with full benefits. I can rest easy. The job isnt some hole in the wall minimum wage job either. Its a prestigious position right down the street from where I live. Typically I have to drive to Seattle to make this kind of salary so I am completely impressed.The staff at EEP will amaze you. The atmosphere is welcoming. You will seriously never find a staffing professional like Dory Chase anywhere else. She listened to me, she offered support, she didnt just sling me into the first open position available. She waited to find me the right fit and she did.I have to make myself stop talking about Dory, or Ill just keep going. Shes just really that amazing. DO NOT TRUST THE LADIES IN THIS OFFICE. Having worked for express in different areas, I have always had a good experience. With the olympia office that all changed. The first assignment they sent me on they couldnt get enough people and struggled to get the clients job completed. The second assignment was sold as a M-F Job which it actually wasnt... It was also sold as having a shift differential for the holiday but wasnt in the check they gave me... I am not going to make the mistake of asking for another assignment. This branch does not care about your welfare nor do they care if you ever get a job.
