Very disappointed with the customer service I received while filing a claim for 2 broken plates. The plates were accepted at the Olive Branch Post Office by a postal employee who failed to complete the information necessary for the claim to be approved. Not only did she fail to complete the information, but retired and left the box sitting in the post office with no instructions for 30 days. After my claim was denied, I contacted the postmaster who assured me he would take care of his employees neglectful actions. So I filed an appeal and waited 45 more days to discover the claim was denied again, as the postmaster incorrectly filled out the information stating that only 1 plate was broken. He also stated that the plates were poorly packaged only in plastic, when submitted photos showed 2 broken plates in bubble wrap and pillow packs. I will take in consideration that he had to state what he saw as far as packaging goes. But he should have taken in consideration that the box had been abandoned in the post office for an entire month, and some of the packaging could have been missing. So, I again filed my second and final appeal with thorough details as to what took place in this post office over nearly a 3 month period. Thankfully, someone at the claims department saw the photos and read about the neglect and approved the claim and sent a check to cover losses. It is a shame when people no longer take pride in their work and provide such poor service.

I wish I could put 0 star.Any time I go to this place for work related or personal, I wish and pray I dont have to deal with this lady at the counter named Gwendolyn.She is so rude and disrespectful to customers. God forbid you have any questions, she is yelling or providing short answers like you bothering her.Ishe needs to understand we customers, not her childre .I dont know how she remain in public service.

Worse customer service ever. I waited in line 25 minutes on 10/6 holding my 6 pound dog in my hand. After waiting 25 minutes with one window open, when its my turn the lady at the window tells me she can not service me because I have a dog. REALLY you watched me stand in line patiently 25 minutes then tell me you cant service me..... She must be real miserable... Every time she has attitude and I have thought of writing review many times but today was the final straw, I am going to Southaven post office and hope to meet employees who like there job.

Keeps claiming no on was home. 1- we have cameras. 2- we have 2 cars in driveway. So we know you never even came to check and see. Stop claiming you did and leaving notes in mailbox; which isnt the policy to walk to your door and ring doorbell? I left notes on each letter of redelivery and nothing.

Can I give less than 1 star? I have had the absolute worst experience with this post office over any other courier service Ive dealt with in my entire life. Which is a pretty bold statement, as I work in logistics. To make a very long and frustrating story short and more frustrating... I moved recently, and used the USPS mail forwarding tool to ensure that all my mail was forwarded properly. After I moved, I noticed a SHARP decrease in mail delivery, even the junk stopped coming! But then, I started noticing my packages werent being delivered - and I even had an order of checks go missing (ancient as they are..they still have their uses...). Turns out, the OLIVE BRANCH POST OFFICE decided that they would return all of my mail to the sender as not deliverable because, this address doesnt exist in Olive Branch. No duh - the post office paperwork clearly says it was forwarded from another town to my current address... Im just beside myself with frustration. Ive had numerous legal documents, bank statements, a debit AND credit card, and my missing checks all go through this post office, and theyve all gone missing. I will GLADLY tell anyone to stay away from this place.

We were waiting for a package that required a signature. My wife and I were home all day. I went out to check the mail, and a “sorry we missed you” note was left. They lied. No attempt was made to knock on the door or ring the bell.

I have always received good service when using this facility. The staff has been nice to me. I have only sent registered mail or priority mail and things went as expected. Parking is good. Access is good. It can be busy, especially around lunch time. I have seen the line backed up almost to the door, which can be about 15-20 people. They generally have all 3 stations open, but most times it is only 2 stations during regular times and seasons.

So I feel like a follow up is warranted. I came in at 4:57... my box was just needing to be dropped off. It was already paid for and ready to go! I was promptly informed that they were closed. So, I asked if there was a drop for boxes. I was told Around the corner. Still have no idea. If I could re rate this awful place again, it would get ZERO stars!I dont ever have a need to mail anything through the usps..... but the 1 time I did here showed me why I never will again! The woman that was assisting me was SO RUDE! If you dont like people, then you need to go get a new job!

I do not write reviews but I am very angry with the customer service at this location. The employee was extremely rude and got smart with me. I almost caused a scene and that is not in my character. I will not be talked down to for asking a question. Instead I chose to be kind and thanked her, but next time I HOPE she tries me. Can’t believe the management allows people to work there that treat customers as badly as they do.

My mail was delivered to my house before noon today, my husband met the delivery driver at the mailbox, she handed him the mail. When he came in I told him there was a package missing. I kept watching the tracking info because it said out for delivery, just checked again at 3pm and it says, Alert: delivery attempted - no access to delivery location. Complete bs. I realize accidents happen but take create for screwing up, dont put it on the customer. Heres hoping I get it tomorrow.

They should teach Gwendelyn some manners. Every time I go to the USPS location in Olive Branch Gwendelyn is rude to me. I dont work at a post office so I dont know everything works. When I ask questions she is very condescending. She makes me wish I hadnt even gone to the post office. I dread having to go to the post office because I might have to interact with her.

First of all I want to send a very special thank you to Terry Adams. For helping me with a package location. My mother and me moved to olive branch two years ago and we are very pleased with our local post office. Whenever I have a problem they go above and beyond to help. This post office is very busy all the time, but the customer service is outstanding. Thank you to all the employees of the olive branch post office.

Out of all the post offices I have been to, this one has been the most professional and polite. Ive never had an issue with mail being late or undelivered. Lines move quickly if there is one when you go in. Staff are polite and prompt.

This is the ABSOLUTE worst post office location. The ladies are lazy and make every excuse NOT to do simple tasks. I was told today that I could only get 5 of my 18 packages scanned to confirm receipt if I didnt have a SCAN form. According to the rude rep who did not want to work, this rule was just established today. 99% of the time she waits on a customer, there is always something new or a dispute of the rules that no other post office seems to know anything about. Larry is the ONLY representative who normally works the front counter and never seems to give any of the customers any problems. IF I ever go back, he is the ONLY one who can assist me. And because of the chance of him not being there, its not worth the time to waste.

Route driver cant pick up mail that has been scheduled for pick up. Also doesnt scan packages that are priority pick ups which causes bad reviews for small business owners. need some new delivery people that are competent not complacent.

They keep letting someone forward our mail without any ID and thats mail fraud. We reported to post master who was supposed to investigate and he obviously didnt investigate. It happened again not a year later. Second problem is I often do not get my mail that companies swear they sent me. This post office is the worst!

I do not even recommend this post office. I only selected a star since you have to, to post a review. One of the most rudest experiences I’ve ever had.I had previously went to my closer post office (not the Olive Branch post office) to turn in my passport application but I misunderstood the fact I had to have my birth certificate and DL as my two identifications.. I had my DL and SSN. I had scheduled this appointment in advance and I was not going to have time to go retrieve my birth certificate and be back in time to turn in my application. The lady assisting me apologized and told me that they take walk-ins so when I get my birth certificate to just come back when I can, I didn’t have to schedule another appointment, it just had to be during their office hours. So a week later to today I decide to stop by the Olive Branch post office on my way home from work (because it was my only next available moment since any other day I get off work after they’re already closed), I go in to refill out my application, stand in line and just as I am the next one to be called a third person, male, walks up to another register/assisting spot at the counter and asks if anybody in line needed to turn in passport applications. I raised my hand, “oh, me!,” and walked up to him. He just asked me if I had an appointment and I explained to him that I did not because I was told that walk-in’s could still be seen and he just looks at me with the most ugliest look on his face and says “No,” and looks away from me.. I said “oh, okay..” and just stood there and he acted like I was invisible. He wasn’t doing anything but standing there just looking at the wall behind me. So I just walked out. I DO understand that the post office I had went to previously, compared to the Olive Branch post office, might just take walk-in applications to be nice NOT that they HAVE to. But that is why I will be going back to that post office because the lady was nice even when she had to turn me away, even though I would have to take more time by going out of my way to come up there a 2nd time to do what I came up there that day to have done. The rudeness of the male employee (I did not get his name) at the Olive Branch post office just put me to tears just because he couldn’t be nice to me. He didn’t know that I had my application completely ready, my picture ready, my check ready, my birth certificate ready or the fact that this was my SECOND time trying to just send out my passport application because I don’t have a lot of spare time to just come in on another day. It took me a week to just walk-in because that was my next opportunity. He didn’t ask me anything else, but said “No”, and basically looked out the door because that’s where he wanted me to go. Oh AND, no one else said that they were their for their passport application.. so I wasn’t being an inconvenience to anybody BUT the employee. I will not ever come back to the Olive Branch post office unless I’m forced to because of this unwelcoming service.

Love using my local post office. The behind-the-counter employees are always friendly and efficient. It really bothers me, however, when customers take calls on their cell phone while being serviced. It is rude and disrespectful toward the postal service agent. Step away from the counter and take the call if you must, but dont leave the agent standing there while you take that phone call.

I continually have mail that I have mailed, never make it to the destination. Then never returned to me. I use a label maker for the address an return address so I know it is sent out correctly. Of the four times this has happened twice it was checks that had to be canceled at a cost of $36 each. What an embarrassment.

US Post Office staff and admin should be very glad their business is subsidized by the government’s wasteful use of tax dollars. If they were operating a private business, they’d all have been out of a job twenty years ago. Every encounter with the Post Office is the worst experience imaginable.

So far every delivery attempted by the Olive Branch Post Office for Sunday deliveries (amazon) to my Byhalia address has been returned as undeliverable. Drivers apparently check in as having attempted delivery but never stop at my house and honk or even pull into my driveway, much less attempt to get to my house. The Byhalia Post Office knows how to actually deliver items, but things going through OB are delayed by days and sometimes just returned to sender.

I sent a package off 2 1/2 months ago & it still hasnt reached its destination so I called the Olive Branch Postal Service about tracking the item & to see what steps I had to take to get back the insurance I put on my item..& guess what bs they had to say! First I was told that my package had reached its destination so they werent reliable for the insurance I had put on my item.. then I track the package online & it says that my package is in Chicago.. so I call back and the unprofessional ass supervisor tells me that he would have to call me back because he was handling reports at the moment! They are very unprofessional! I mentioned that to him & made sure he knew that their customer service was despicable! They are lazy as hell & will tell you anything just so they wont have to do their job!

Very poor service at this facility. My wife and I took our 2 year old son for a passport application. We did all the steps correctly beforehand like online app, all proper documentation etc... They are extremely slow and could not take our sons picture correctly. I have missed over 5 hours of work for this within 2 days. Not to mention that they have misplaced our application because the first post officer helping us went home and now they cannot contact this person.I hardly write reviews but this Post Office is horrible and customer service is awful. Should have went to Southaven or Memphis facilities.

Since moving to Olive Branch, I have two missing packages that bindis not receive. One contained my deceased sons Bible and a letter from him. My direct tv payment never made it to direct tv. Some weeks there are days I get no mail and the next day its quite a stack. I went to the post office in search of my packages and the tracking number couldnt even be tracked. Its strange that both packages got lost about the same time in March. Seems theres nothing they can do...like look for them. Im haunted by the fact I have a last communication out there from my son in a priority mail package they cant locate in almost 6 months. Im devastated. Very poor service!

The employees are freindly;However, they are always short handed. I go to this location every day and there is always a long line and long waiting.There is no automated kiosk to print shipping labels after closing hours or Big drop off box for big packages. I have to drive to Southaven or memphis location after business hours to use their facilities for printing shipping labels,buying stamps and shipping packages.Also the hours are very limited for mail pick up window when it comes to packages that requires signature or wont fit in mail box/po Box.I have to stand in line and wait 15 minutes or so to get a package.Extend the pick up hrs,Install an automated kiosk, Install a drop off box for big packagesHave more employees available during peek hrs.Thats why I can rate you 3 stars.TYour services does not meet expectations and wont until you figure out how to resolve the above mentioned issues that we customers face every day.
