While this is not my gym I’ve been to a few and mine is great and I’ve been a member for 5 years. While going in to this gym a possible new member was standing at the door asking about the gym. I was trying to describe it. After talking it up and saying it was a good gym but not mine I’ll let you take a peek (my bad) but hey a possible customer. I was met at the door and scolded for allowing someone in and that she saw what I was about to do but instead waited till I did it! I guess to berate me! I was again told not to do that and she new I was not one of HER members. I left upset met the people outside and the possible new member apologized to me for her berating me. I returned after a run calmed down and ask if she had a minute she said she didn’t (probably cause she didn’t want hear what I had to say) but if I could wait 15 min or I could call her. I said no it would be a waste of time which results in this rating. You don’t berate anyone especially customers in front of people. I’m a paying member not her child and if I do something wrong pull me aside and explain what’s up. I’m sorry but this is not the first time this women has acted like I don’t belong and don’t worry I won’t be back and I don’t think those two people will be either
Very terrible experience. Walked through town and wanted to go in to look at the gym. We stood at the door looking in window for 5 minutes. Saw a lady in the back putting on her shoes (which we found out later was the manager) and she never even waved at us. Then a nice member was about to walk in and we asked if they had good weight section….he was kind enough to ask us if we wanted to see the inside. My fiancé went in with him and I waited outside. When they went in they got a scolding from the lady putting on her shoes!!! Saying “I was sitting here waiting to see if you were gonna let him in and you can’t do that”. I’m sorry but that is horrible customer service and she could have said it a million other ways! Or how about if you see someone wanting to come in and actual rang the door bell she could have waved. She lost two potential new members and upset a member. Now reading the below reviews I would not even consider it.
Nice gym, they have a good selection of equipment and it was clean, they had sanitizer spray and towels for you to clean your equipment when you’re finished with it, and the non exercise areas were clean and nice. The staff members were very nice and helpful.
Worst gym on shoreline, manager incredibly rude about reciprocal access (which is allowed within first 30 days during staffed hours). Dirty, dusty, broken equipment and even disgusting hair caught in machines. Small and no place to stretch and warm up. Should be closed, remodeled and manager fired. Would not recommend whatsoever.
Wish I lived closer and could regularly visit this gym. Although its small it has a great selection of equipment Its very clean with a warm and friendly atmosphere - the staff couldnt be nicer.
Great Gym! Franchised by a local family who are nice, friendly people.
Looks clean because no one is ever here but everything is sticky and never gets cleaned off regularly. Way back when they had sanitary wipes but due to cost cutting (I guess) they just leave rags around for you to (spread germs around) the equipment. Been trying to cancel a membership and no one gets back to you.
They don’t even have a water fountain, they say use the bathroom sinks... still deserves a few stars because it’s almost always empty.
Don’t go here if you actually lift weights, strictly for the casual treadmill user.
This is a great little gym. Cozy, quiet, friendly, and all the equipment for sweaty workouts.
Anytime except when you need em. No staff on a Saturday. Womp womp. Tried to call the number. No answer. Inside posted hours.
