We live in a house in midtown Tulsa that was built in 1916, and due to the placement of storm windows on the inside of our casement windows a decade or more before we bought the house the wood windows were rotting off the house. Wood Rescue gave us a quote to remove the interior storm windows, refurbish what they could and replace what they couldnt that was less than replacing the windows with brand new versions lacking the 100 year old character of the existing windows. The entire crew, from quote to install to follow up, has been top notch. Great communication and great artisans. I highly recommend them for absolutely any project. Well done!

I am completely happy with my wood window restoration project experience - thank you Wood Window Rescue! The folks are great to work with, very knowledgeable, and kind.In addition to restoring 18 wood windows, WWR reconstructed a wood window that had been replaced with a vinyl unit (that looked all wrong on my historic house) - and the results are wonderful. The recent addition of custom storms gave my windows, and home, added energy efficiency and charm!Wood window rescue are good people - a class act.

If you have wood windows which need any kind of work, historic or not, this is the place to call for advice or help. When it comes to wood windows, finding someone that knows how to work on them is almost as illusive as the rainbow colored unicorn. Look no further as they will rescue you from all your wood windows problems.

Friendly staff that assisted through the whole insurance claim. Our adjuster sent approved claim paperwork for our damaged roof on a Friday and Old Home was there the following Monday.

Wood Window Rescue installed wood storm windows for our entire 1910s craftsman home. Our first test was this winter and they have performed exceptionally well, in addition to looking great. They have a great, friendly staff with unmatched craftsmanship. Highly recommend.

Having old wood windows can be a challenge and sometimes even when you use the best company with qualified staff you still have problems. Thats the nature of having wood windows. Having an old house that was built in 1905 and before that a house that was built in 1910, I know what its like to have OLD wood windows and the issues that come along with their beautiful chaos. I am thankful for the work ethic, knowledge, and know how Wood Window Rescue provides. The hard work Wood Window Rescue puts into making these old windows viable is magnificent to see and experience. Continue the great work even when not all wood windows want to play fair.

If I could put no stars I would. Ty McBride of Wood Window Rescue is a con-artist. He may seem like a nice guy but I PROMISE he will screw you and you will be sorry you trusted him. Ty McBride and Wood Window Resue do NOT know how to restore wood windows and if you use them they will ruin them. I plead that you seek out someone better with something so important.

I had several large windows rebuilt by this company, using their rot resistant Acoya wood, as once paint was removed on my vintage homes exsisting wood windows, the damage from previous decades was worse than appeared. Let me tell you, these new wood windows are absolutely beautiful!!! I receive compliments all the time. They open from the top and bottom (double-hung, a term Ive now learned) and opening a few from the top, in the spring time, allowing a fresh breeze thru my house is heaven! With an upper sash opening, my cats dont seem to notice and attempt their escape. I also feel a bit safer as the opening is much further from the ground outside. The cost is comparable to the vinyl replacement windows one sees offered everywhere, HOWEVER, the beauty of these is evident, where I found nothing beautiful in the vinyls (my research found the vinyls dont last as many years either). I financed at my credit union with a Low interest signature loan. Love these windows!! Im quite sure, I will eventually redo the entire house!!

They completely screwed up my friends windows and refuse to fix their problem. They sealed all the windows wrong and now they have moisture coming into their house all the time. Do not use their business.
