Nice. Listed number goes to asking for an extension for Cisco Unity Messaging Center. Might want to hire a receptionist.
I had the pleasure to have Matt Geatches and (later) Paul Balma as my TEKsystems recruiters. They were always available, willing to listen to my concerns, and help me navigate my contract in a positive and professional manner. We had quarterly one-on-one lunches to catch up on work and life, which fostered the feeling that I was more than just a paycheck to them. I had worked for seven contracting/hiring companies before them, and they were among the top. I left TEKsystems for a better opportunity. I really think its just a matter of who you get as a recruiter. I was blessed to get awesome ones :) [Wouldve given 5 stars if same salary + paid time off]
While TEKsystems did help me find a job, it was a very negative career experience. They assured me that my concerns going into the job were overblown. Now, with the advantage of hindsight, Id say my perceptions were much closer to reality than theirs.Furthermore, along with being placed in a less than ideal job opening, I now receive calls from them approximately once a month. Ive asked on three separate occasions to be removed from their call list. Each time I am assured I have been. Each time Ive continued receiving calls. They did help me find a job, but in hindsight I consider my time with TEKsystems to have, at best, been a nuisance and, at worst, a set back in my career I had to overcome afterwards.I personally would recommend trying another hiring agency.
Five stars for Katy. Four stars for Tek Systems.Katy fought tooth and nail to get me employed. Katy was flexible and patient when I sounded flaky. It didnt matter if it was the firm we were applying me for that was being difficult or Katys silly staff members, Katy pushed me through, was always reachable and fought for me, no matter the hoops. Not to mention, she actually is technologically knowledgeable.Very few people radiate her with-it-ness and that quality of hers will stick out from the very first interaction all the way through (assuming that you meet the standards and show a real desire to work at the places shes going to set you up with).
Went in for an interview and was offered a job immediately after. It’s been three weeks after I was told I would get a call “the next day or so” about when to start/fill out paperwork. I have called/emailed them with zero response whatsoever. Highly disappointing company and experience, would recommend people try a different staffing company.
I worked with TEKsystems and i deeply regret it. They have since moved from the Edmond area and are now downtown. I met with a woman named Katie, and she said she could place me in a job within the next week with an open position. We went over my resume and she said she thought i was perfect for a certain job. She said because they needed people right then and there, that it would be a direct hire, with no interview. The job she told me i would be doing and the actual job was completely a 180 turn. I contacted her after i hadnt heard in days and she said that i was perfect for the job and they wanted a phone interview. This is after she said it wouldnt be one at all. So i get on the phone conference and they are asking me for things i had no experience at all. Needless to say i didnt get the job. Which is fine, but then i try to contact Katie and tell her that she set me up with a company that was not at all what she described to me. When i talked to Katie after the interview she said she would call back and try to get more info. Then proceeds to tell me that she didnt talk directly with a manager and she just heard what the job was through word of mouth. Now i cant get her to call or text or email back at all after she was the one who set it all up. Please dont waste your time with this company. They are very unprofessional and will waste your time to the very end. And if you decide to take the job with them anyway, do not talk with Katie. Just not worth your time. I would give this place a half star if i could.
I would not work them especially Eliza Hyatt she requested I drive an extended distance from Dallas to OKC and agreed rather than airfare with Mileage reimbursement bc was last minute and saved them company money for an interview in June 9th. Not only did I have to repeatedly request the payment, I received it today almost 2 months later. Here is how they broke down the mileage reimbursement (did not even follow Federal guidelines) the average car get 21 miles per gallon(I drive an escalate do way below average, hence why there are federal guidelines for reimbursement bc factors in cars wear and tear and time to the payment.. 480 miles = 22.85 gallons 2.18per gallon which I paid 2.39 at the time of travel not the time of reimbursement to total quals 49.82 for travel to OKC From Dallas and 11 hours for my time. If she or anyone form this office calls you about an open job do not work with them
