I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve always had a great haircut and a straight razor shave but today they didn’t even give me the straight razor shave the haircut took less than 10 minutes and I still need a haircut😡 I won’t be back and will take my business elsewhere

I love a good old-fashioned Barber Shop. The place where the conversation is good, the haircuts are great, and the company is excellent. Getting a haircut is one of those men things that you have to be there to understand. Give this place a chance, I think you will like the results.

My son and I went to Hanks to get a cut for both of us. Had a great time and the barbers there were friendly. The One barber cut my sons hair even when he fell a sleep. They did great job on hair cutting and service was great.

I decided to crosspost my Yelp review here because I felt the solitary one star review was unfair:This is a consistent, affordable, friendly, and seemingly family-owned barbershop (three generations are represented in their three barbers) that Ive been going to every 2-3 weeks since for over six months and I cant recommend enough.Their haircuts are just $12 and its obvious they take pride in their work--all three barbers are masters of the clippers and the fade/taper.I have a typical mens haircut. Its short on the side and medium length on the top that started as a side part and has become an undercut, and they always take their time and do an excellent job. I ask for the back tapered and they use a straight razor from the back of my neck all the way to my temple!What really sets this place apart is their professionalism. The three barbers are Vietnamese, but even when I am there alone they make an effort to communicate with each other in English so I dont feel alienated.Recently I stopped in for a haircut on Friday 15 minutes before they closed and they insisted I stayed and I got the same careful haircut I always get, not a rush job because they wanted to go home.I have gotten a shave here but it was a little strange. It wasnt a typical wet shave--in fact most of it was done dry and it wasnt very close. But I can give myself a decent wet shave at home.Shave aside, if you are looking for a barber that is friendly, a great value, with consistent barbers who dont send you home with a bad fade that is not what you asked for, then give Hanks a try.

Hanks is the place to go if you want a clean cut. I always get a drop cut slick back with a razor fade.

All I can tell you, is if you have multi ethnic hair stay away from this place, they are not barbers,I called was told that I could have my haircut, came inside and was told that they didn’t know that I was African-American, and that’s not even my race . Never had a bigger waste of time

Was passing through Oklahoma City and made decision to stop after looking through reviews. Definitely wish we lived closer so my husband could go when he needed but whenever were in the area we will stop. Very nice and do a good job.

Meticulous is the best description of Hanks. They take great care in their work. Also, I dont feel obligated to have small talk; every word exchanged was about the cut, and I was able to sit in comfortable silence for the majority.

I just got the worst haircut of my life here. All I asked for was a 4 and 7 of those measuring attachments and this moron does nothing close to that like he thinks he knows a better haircut for me. He cuts the sides down to a 2, which should have been a 4 and does nothing to the top. Idiot. Ive been going here for two years but never got the same haircut twice despite asking for the same thing. Total crapshoot even if you bring pictures. Theyll never remember you or your haircut. Im finally done with this place as its clear theyll never improve. Steer clear, even if you have a simple haircut.

Terrible Barber Shop.Waited 50 minutes today to get a normal hair cut, and they took the entire time to cut two guys hair in front of me. Never did get a haircut cause I had to go back to work after waiting almost an hour. The barely speak any English and dont seem to be in a rush at all to cut someones hair who actually has a job.If you do make the mistake of going here, make sure you make them get a new razor if they are shaving your neck or face, cause they shave homeless people that walk in there.
