I can not recommend this family owned business enough. They are a husband and wife team and have a son my daughter’s age. They’re fast, great price, trustworthy and have excellent customer service— they treat you like family. I am a teacher and didn’t want to miss a call, so I asked if he could text me updates.If you’re looking for a mechanic, go see Shelby and tell him I sent you ☺️. I will never go anywhere else again!

It can be so hard to find a quality mechanic who is also up front and trustworthy! I had Shelbys replace some leaking gaskets on my 2008 Chrysler Town & Country before a longer road trip with the family. Not only did they come in about 40% cheaper than the dealer quote, they finished earlier than originally estimated. They also showed concern about some possible severe weather moving in to make sure my vehicle was taken care of. And, they didnt recommend any unnecessary services or try to upsell me on anything. On top of that, when I got it home I noticed that the bottom half of the motor was cleaned up as well from the previously leaking oil. Much appreciated, and I will 100% take any vehicles back here for service in the future!

For 4 years I have had issues with my air conditioner (2012 Scion XB). I have taken it to 2 different AC repair places and to a local Toyota dealership (3 times) because the air just blew humid and was miserable during the summer. Each time they said they could find nothing wrong but then would charge for an Evac and refill. The AC was still not cold after these times. Enter this summer and Im still having issues, so I take it over to Shelby. He has worked on my brakes and saved me money on an alternator issue that was non-existent. I didnt think to bring it to him before because I did not know they worked on ACs. The did a proper AC evac and refill- meaning they completely removed the old freon, any water (humidity issue) and filled it with the correct percent of needed material. The AC works so well now that I rarely use the highest level power even during the hottest part of the day. Shelby and his team are honest, dependable, and will do what it takes to earn and keep your business. This is a rare business that actually cares to listen, finds the problem, and fixes it without breaking the bank. Thank you Shelby and team. We will continue to use him as we have three girls that will all be driving in the near future.

Shelby‘s automotive is a very friendly, family-based operation. They’ve always provided me with a friendly and professional response to my mechanical needs. Shelby runs a very clean and productive shop. He has some very good mechanics working for him. I havent taken him anything he couldnt fix.

I thought my car had an oil leak but luckily it didnt. They were honest enough to tell me about it . This could have been a very expensive fix and a dishonest place could have cleaned up the oil and charged me who knows how much for nothing !

Ive been know my shelby for years, acutely i was 17 when i first walked pass his shop. Just in amazement of the cars coming and going. Didnt own a car until a few years ago and ive always kept in mind if somthing happened to my car (future self) im going there. I have to say hes one of the most down to eart machine on the planet.

Shelby is AWESOME! Honest and someone you can trust. I was out of town and he helped me. His entire staff is so respectful and always willing to help out. His prices are so much better than other places and you know whos working on your car. His wife is very nice too!

My husband works in midland so me being alone taking my car to the shop is already nerve racking but every person I came into contact with at shelbys automotive was amazing. I would reccomend this place to anyone and everyone! I read a couple reviews saying they dont call before they do work and that is absolutely not true. Before they did any work to my car they called and ran it by me. Also they are honest and trustworthy. They wont just tell you something is wrong to make more money. I kept insisting something was wrong with my front end and they were very honest to tell me they didnt find anything wrong with it, I know if I would have gone to another place they wouldve taken advantage of this opportunity and charge me for something that didnt have a problem in the first place. I first went to this mechanic shop when the older gentleman owned it and me experience was okay. I then ventured out to different places that overpriced and did horrible jobs/services that are literally within a 10 mile radius of him. I then took one of my two suburbans back to now is Shelbys shop. He worked rigoursly to fix the screw up to repair the past unpleasant experience that was done by others. So when I started to have issues that I couldnt figure out I took it back to him again. On this experience an old employee of his messed my vehicle up to, I called shelby up explained it to him. He then asked me to bring it back and they corrected the issues right then apologized for the mishap and went above/beyond the point of service that was needed. Never once have I received service like that in Oklahoma. I not only trust the work he and his employees do (outside the one who messed my burban up) I trust him as a person as well. Any other shop wouldnt have given me a great quote the way he did, but also not have corrected the problem of past mechanics or their own even if they knew they were at fault. So I honestly believe this shop and men are of great integrity and honesty

Had work performed but they accidentally broke another piece in the process. They told me about it and fixed it for free. As a big truck mechanic I know this happens and they handled it the right way with honesty. I dont use another mechanic often, but will happily use these guys again.

It was previously own by a older gentlemen years ago, but now he is retired so the business was turn over to a young fellow about 64 inches, it just not the same service anymore. I had called Shelby(new owner) to first quote me before you fix anything, guy did not listen well, when i arrived to pick up the car, he told me a outrageous price, i then ask him how come you did not call me before any services is render. He would not give me an answer. This was not the first time, but twice from me and also a relative of mine who i also referred. He did the same thing to them. Dont take your car here he will run up your bill.

They have done excellent work for me on several cars. Always great work and a more than fair price.

Diagnosed the problem on my truck quickly and told me what they could and couldnt do for me, very straight forward. If they dont practice that sort of work, then I cant be upset.

This place is awesome. I had terrible shaking on my car and I took it to 3 other places and each one told me something different and each time I had things replaced that I didnt even need. I ended up paying over $1000 and the shaking never stopped. Then a co-worker or mine referred me to Shelbys Automotive and when I took it there...I automatically got a good vibe from this guy...I could tell he was a good person. They told me it was my axle. I literally just got back from picking my car up and it runs and drives like it is brand new. Turns out it was my axle and the shaking is completely gone. I will continue to bring my vehicles to this guy and I will also be referring him to a lot of people.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this place. You will waist time and money. Hibdon, Midas or Jiffy Lube actual certified companies. This place is a scheme for service. You call about one thing and get a price, just to let him do the work and charge me anyways before confirming with me, that I wanted work done. To top it off at checkout time after such a long ridicuous wait for NOTHING. ( cause they didnt have many customers at all (1). I end up paying almost twice the amount I was originally given on the phone. The whole reason I even considered this place. Cheaper is NOT better. They suck! And have more junk cars out front than a junk yard.TRASHY!

I bought a used car in Okc and got screwed it had multiple problems I was told about Shelbys by Autozone so I went to Shelbys and talk to him they were busy busy but since I live in Kingfisher he went ahead and pulled my VW in and told me what he thought was wrong with so I brought it back the next day !!! He kept me informed about what was all going on and whenever they found another problem and had to buy another part !!! I can say this Shelby is one of the most honest and friendly people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!!! I would recommend his place of business to anyone Iknow!!!!
