I’m out $475 because Chick didn’t tell me I needed the entire kit on my air conditioner. He replaced the compressor and told me it would work best if I leave it off and roll down the windows. I took it to the dealer and they told me he just took my money because when you replace a compressor without replacing everything else it doesn’t work. So now if I use my air conditioner it will blow the 250 dollar compressor I just paid to have put in. He knew when I left it wasn’t going to work and then lied to me when I called. Do not ever use this place.

Being a woman who knows some to little about cars, its hard to find someone who will be totally honest and reliable. I now own a prius and the few mechanics that Ive had to see have all tried to give me the run around. This last time I went to Firestone because I blew a tire and they told me that for the repairs to my car, it would cost me around $800! I got it on the road and immediately called Als because of every mechanic Ive ever had to see, including for oil changes, they have been the most forthcoming and kind. Theyre real people, not con artists. I will forever take car advice from Als!10/10 for service, honesty, and punctuality.

Visiting from Minnesota for the weekend, our car broke down. Als was able to get us in first thing Monday morning and had us back on the road quickly. Service was friendly, efficient and reasonably priced.

Do not go here to get your car serviced - Als will try and take advantage of your ignorance regarding cars. I was quoted a $500 repair without which I wouldnt be able to drive home to Kansas City. Took my chances and made it home and then took my car to my usual repair shop that said the repair would cost a maximum of $50.

They refused to work on my car. Either they dont have metric tools or are too lazy.

We were told they were the experts when it came to carb. engines so I took my 1984 Jeep Wrangler to them. I wasnt sure what was wrong, assuming it was either the starter or fuel pump. They tested everything and found out it was the ignition switch that was burnt out. They fixed it in less than 24 hours, did timing, and fixed some small things and we paid less than $200. I was very impressed and the old man that owns the place, Al, was really neat and knowledgable! I will always go back to them and recommend them!

Als has modern equipment and old fashioned attitude of service, plus the best prices weve found. Weve used them for ten years for company and family vehicles and always been treated right.
