I initially contacted Smith Brothers via email regarding getting an estimate to replace my homes heat pump system for the down stairs and upstairs. Very swiftly I received a call from Duane Smith and visited with him briefly and set up a time to come give me an estimate(same day). Duane came out and was very professional, knowledgeable and provided us with multiple options for replacing these systems. Duane was very informative about our questions about different products and their efficiency. Once we selected what we wanted to have installed the Smith Brothers crew came out within 24 hours to swap out two condenser units and two air handlers, including Duane Smith the owner. Everyone who showed up to do the work was very professional and it was a pleasure to have them around the home. Special thanks to Mike for walking me through the new systems and answering any questions I had. I thought it was great to see a family run business working together and they were able to do this in 4 hours. They were on time, did a great job, and we couldnt be more please with the result. To anybody looking for an HVAC company please consider Smith Brothers, you wont be disappointed.

This company consistently provides stellar service. From install to routine maintenance and repairs.They arrive within the time frame given, communicate throughout the project, and their work is top notch. Weve had them out on several occasions and highly recommend them.

Scheduling is pretty inconsistent, but it still didnt take long for them come out for the initial appointment. They also gave an expensive initial quote, but were very accommodating with price matching. The install of the AC unit was quick and really well done. Mike, Levi, Nicholas all showed up to take care of the issue. I couldnt get the heater to work, then I could not get the air conditioning to work either. They let me know the issue was my thermostat and rather than tell me they would be back with parts later to fix the problem, they gave me the option of fixing it myself for much less. A contractor who will put his customers financial position ahead of his own gain is rare. And even though they dispatched three technicians, I was only billed for one service call. This is the second time I used Smith Brothers, and I will continue to use them for all my HVAC needs.

My regular Heat/Air guy that I used for over 15yrs passed away and I needed to find a new company to take care of me that I could depend on for years to come. I believe I have found that in Smith Brothers. I knew it was past time to replace my Heating Unit and Hot Water Heater I explained that to Duane and he came out that same day and checked everything out and explained what I needed and told me what it would cost me. It was much better than other companies I checked with. They came on the day that I needed it done and changed out my Heating & Air Units and Hot water Heater all in about half a day. I read all the reviews and knew that I would be calling Smith Brothers. The reviews were not wrong. They came out quickly to give an estimate. Then I called and scheduled moving the central heat and air unit to a new location. They were out on the date scheduled. They finished, cleaned up and completed the move in one day. Great company. They are now my central heat and air go to company.

The city inspector just came by and signed off on Smith Brothers installation of heat and air (full system except for duct work) in our home. I am well aware that companies invest a lot of time into pricing and presenting their products and services to customers when they make estimates for us. Smith Brothers gave our 4th estimate. If they had been the first or second estimate; we would have known sooner that their plan was the one to go with. Obviously we are grateful we found Smith Brothers. Duane was excellent at presenting solutions and explaining our options in replacing out 29+ year old system. We knew we needed to upgrade; but we didnt want to break the bank. This company works hard to provide value with their products and services.Duane and the install team showed up at the appointed time. They knew what to do and how to do it. While other companies were trying to get us to replace the whole motor we called smith heat and air for and 3 rd opinion. They came out quick! And come to find out it was just the condensor! I rarely write reviews, but Smith brothers is an exceptional company. They installed a new heat & air unit for my brother’s house who is disabled. Having priced units 3 years previous for my own home, I had a good idea of what I wanted to pay. They installed mine and did a great job 3 years ago. They gave me a very good deal for my brother’s house. I saved literally a couple thousand that some of the other big names guys would have charged. Smith Brothers are very respectable and courteous. I was impressed at how fast they diagnosed my brothers bad a/c unit. I already knew what the issue was and knew I needed a new one before they said anything. This company will do you right and make sure you are happy with the results. You will not be disappointed.June 21, 2021 - Our Air Conditioning went out over the weekend. Called Duane on Sunday. Because it was Fathers day, all his guys were off, but he said theyd be out first thing Monday and they were. Fixed the condenser and no charge since my system was still under warranty. I love these guys and how they take care of their loyal customers. Been with them for 6 years now. Duane has a great team. Special shout out to Nathan and his assistant today - thanks guys.

Great communication, installation, and service. I purchased a new furnace last winter with the plan of also purchasing a new a/c this past spring. ( I wanted to pay cash for the entire service, but needed to split up the installation, which they were more than happy to do. The entire Smith Brothers team was professional and explained everything in detail. I even had them add a vent in the bathroom, which was cut in so well that it looked like it had always been a part of the house. I had many questions from doing research online and speaking with a previous customer of theirs and the team was honest with their answers and didnt try to sell me items I didnt need or want. I would highly recommend this company. They definitely have a life-long customer here.

I called Smith Brothers yesterday morning, September 17th, at 905am to get some work done on my A/C unit. The gentleman that answered told me there were 4-5 jobs ahead of me and to expect a repairman to arrive in 1-2hrs and took my contact info. At 1pm, I called again to inquire about the delay and attain an updated arrival estimate. No one answered the phone, returned my message, or came to provide service. I HIGHLY recommend finding another service company that is attentive to your needs.

This is an A++ company! I purchased a 1938 home with known HVAC issues. Duane came out and looked at the systems and we discussed the problems and possible solutions. Ultimately I decided to replace both furnaces and AC units, plus duct work. (I had another estimate that was significantly higher.) The crew of 5 that came out to complete the work were polite, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They explained what they were doing when I had a question and immediately let me know when they ran into issues. Duane helped me fill out the warranty paper work and make sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Smith Brothers - they are honest and do great work!

When we called, the gentleman was courteous and professional. When Duane came for the estimate, he was clean and presentable and professionally answered our questions.On the date of the install, they called ahead and confirmed the installation. They arrived right on time and got straight to work. They explained the ONG rebate in detail and even filled out most of the paperwork for me. (On a side note, I got all the information in a timely manner and was able to send the rebate form the same day). There were no complications in the installation itself, and they carted the old equipment away. They conpleted the installation in about 5.5 hours.

I asked them to come out and do a service call and check the freon in my air conditioner because we knew it was getting a little low and it was freezing up. They came out and didnt add any freon but instead tried to convince me that I needed to spend $4,500 on a brand new unit and that was the only option I had. So after they left I called another guy who came and put the freon in, like I asked for in the first place, and now my air conditioner is working perfectly and getting cold without freezing up again. Oh and the second guy did it free of charge. Smh. I thought they were going to be honest from the previous reviews. Glad I didnt spend that $4,500.

We had A/C problems. The fan was blowing but the compressor wasnt. Called a company recommended by a FOAF and he said it would be next week, before he could get out. We called Smith Brothers at 1:00 and they said they would have someone out between 3 and 5. They came out, were able to trouble shoot the problem fix the problem and ensure that we knew what to do if the same thing occurred again. Nate and his apprentice were very professional. We had a gas smell. They came out and discovered where the leak was coming from. Turns out the heat exchange had been damaged due to prior company installing exhaust incorrectly. We opted to purchase new Heat & Air System. Smith Brothers gave us what I thought was a good deal and my wife said they were very professional and polite. Answered all of our questions. Unlike a number of the AC salesmen, Duane didnt try to upsell me a bunch of expensive features I didnt need, knew his stuff, gave us a very fair price. And he is a really great guy and an owner of the company, a BIG plus when you are making this type of service investment. The install team showed up today ( early), and got the entire system up and running in 4 hours. The house didnt even get warm ! Mike and the crew were great - friendly, focused and very skilled at what they do. When they left it was amazing. Our thermostat was on 74 and the house felt wonderful compared to our old system we kept at 68. Wish I would have done this five years ago!There are a number of good air conditioning systems on the market. And Smith installs American Standard, consistently a top Consumer Report pick. But my experience has been that its your service company that is most important in the long run. They arent the biggest and dont spend millions on advertising. But Duane and the Smith Brothers team are the BEST! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
