For Some reason its hard to get a screening or to be seen at this place. I was told to walk in today and i did! just for them to tell me to wait til monday? So i guess our mental health isnt that important? Shm. Then i showed up monday and told to come in on Thursday?
This place is a joke call the crisis line and the lady transfers me and then the next lady asks me is this a crisis situation that I need to transfer you to the crisis line? Like really people I called the crisis line! Worst place ever!
I appreciate what you have done for my mother. She has committed on the front desk being a little short, but at times she can also be difficult. Please keep what you are doing for the public. Mental illness is a true struggle, not just for the patient but also for the family.
I normally don’t give reviews, and actually hate doing it, BUT! I honestly hate that I have to give this place even one star, because after today they deserve ZERO. I have never been so angry with any “professional” staff before. 2 different patients, TERRIBLE! Maybe the actual dr was fine, but the front counter people were completely unprofessional. 1) I understand this patient didn’t have an appointment, but they just needed to fill out paperwork and were told to just come in for it. Took them *45* minutes to get to her, and they were the only ones there! 2) same thing. Paperwork only, told to just come in to get it signed. This patient ended up needing to call them to ask them if they could bring the paperwork down to them in the lobby due to the fact that they just recently fell pretty hard at home and was struggling to get upstairs for it. The receptionist wouldn’t even listen to her and simply just transferred her to a voicemail. This was done twice. She ended up forcing herself to go up anyways because they refused to listen to what she was trying to tell them. She was met with complete annoyance when she tried to sign in.I cannot believe they call themselves professional. Y’all need to go retrain yourselves on how to treat ALL patients. I don’t care if you’re having a bad day. Treat the patients with a bit more respect and humanely than what I witnessed.I even filled out one of those “how are we doing” surveys. The receptionist took my folded filled out survey, read it and then proceeded to THROW IT AWAY. Can I give y’all negative stars???? Unbelievable. SMDH
They never answer or help
Total waste of my time. I tried to get my son screened for ADHD and when I called, was told a list of what to bring including his insurance. What I wish they would have told me was that they would turn him away since he has private insurance and they referred me to resources that were also not helpful. Some of these resources do not even deal with children or take any insursnce expecting you to pay 750.00 out of pocket to get screened then leave the patient to send it off to the insurance to SEE if they will reimburse you. I signed my son out of school for them to waste my time. I used to work here and it was NOT this difficult to get a screening. What a shame.
Dr Stroble and her nurses are good people and I feel they are good at there jobs, however there seems to be a lot of miss communication problem. I dont know where they are, but information I get from my case worker is often incomplete, precriptions dont get called in ect. I understand that this facility is government funded for the most part, however, when the doctor is trying to find the right meds for you, waiting 3 me in be between appointments is really stretching it. At that rate it doubles the time it could take to get the right dose and precription for you.
Yes it does take a long time to get screened and go through the process (bring some food, drink, headphones or a book) but if you are really scared and need help the staff does a great job to make sure you get the help you need. They were really my last hope and it was worth the wait. So many people go through there daily its actually amazing what this staff can do if you have the patience to achieve the help you need
