Go anywhere else for a detail! This place use to be the best, but I don’t know what’s going on now. I just paid $250 for a full detail, and this is how my car came back... after having them go over it a 2nd time! The first pass was even worse. At best this was a $50 deep clean. I have leather seats and rubber floor mats throughout- so this was not a complicated detail. They didn’t even try. Dirt and grime left in cup holders and crevices. The leather basically was wiped down with one of their dirty rags. Total rip off

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! I have tried this place three times, and they always give me a different quote for the same service. They have two packages for $49 which are essentially the same, except one offers upholstery cleaning and the other carpet cleaning. I would like both my upholstery and carpet cleaned and was quoted $150, 50% more than combining the two packages together. Last time they charged me $100. I asked why such the high markup and the man told me its because I drive an oversized car. I drive a small suv, basically the size of a mid-sized car except for the hatchback. When I did get my car cleaned there they did a lousy job! They argued with me when I asked them to go back and clean my interior because there was dirt and soap suds left by their filthy rags. Never again!

Overall the car was a huge improvement over what it was however, they did not vacuum all the floor space and did not pay attention to small details. I had to ask them to redo some of their work as it was not complete contrary what I was told. Theres also too much polishing residue left on the dash, handles and the rubber mats on the floor. For the cost of $90 Ive had better work done for half the price.

Normally this place is pretty good but the last two times I have gone there they act like they do not care. The whole outside of my vehicle was still dirty. The inside was not cleaned or vacuumed at all. I had to redo it. Why am I going to pay $40/$50 bucks for a terrible job? I found places where it was obvious they wiped down one stripe of a seat or one panel of the outside. All in all today was a terrible experience with both the car wash itself and the customer service.

I went in with the intention of getting my vas washed as well as getting the seats shampooed. It was my understanding that that fell under the “upholstery express” when I got there the man asked what I wanted and said that’ll be $60.00 I questioned the price on their menu and he said that’s only for vacuuming the seats. I shrugged it off since the receipt said interior detail and I didn’t mind that addition. When I got my car back I was extremely disappointed. The center console has puddles of water as well as the emergency brake and they didn’t even wash my mats like the description said. The exterior of my car was also untouched. Bird poop everywhere like they didn’t even try. Overall terrible experience and waste of my time and money.

Paid 50 dollars for probably the worst job we have ever gotten. Vaccum, tire dressing, wheel cleaning was soo sad. Will never go back. They werent busy at all, now i now why.Dont go there, have your neighbors 5 year old do it, would get a better job

The only reason I’m giving this place 1 star is because the staff was very nice. Otherwise it was a horrible wash. And they didn’t even wipe down the cup holders or console. It’s still completely dusty along the window sills. Horrible job

Paid $18 for the super wash while the no name guy with the red lips tattooed on his neck tried to up sell me the $40 works wash, by lying and saying they dont wipe down the dash and everything inside the car with the super wash. Told him I dont want to pay $40 for a car wash and Ill stick with the $18 super wash.Went inside to pay and had to clarify with the cashier Adrian at the counter if they do or dont wipe down the inside of the car with the super wash purchase. He had no idea, and told me to ask the manager outside, the bald guy walking around.I said Ill just chill here while you grab the manager because I dont know which one he is.Manager came in, I said so you guys dont wipe down or vacuum the inside of the car when it costs $18 bucks for the car wash? I mean Im not buying the cheapest one which is $15....Then I looked at the receipt Adrian gave me and pointed out to the manager that even the $15 car wash comes with the inside cleaned.They didnt even vacuum the back seat after I insisted to the manager to do the one job he has. Dont waste your time or money coming to this place.

Ive taken my vehicles to Visa Hand Wash for years and have been for the most part happy. Today I took my wifes Audi to be waxed for her birthday, paid $160,00 and feel as though I was ripped off. The rims looked like they were never touched, steering wheel was the same, front window had bugs on it, the front grill was filthy and several spots where the wax wasnt taken off. I spent an hour and a half cleaning what should have been cleaned for $160,00 What a waste of money and time, I will never have anything but a basic wash there ever again.

When Im in the north county this is my Go-To car wash. Actually, this is likely my favorite car wash in the greater San Diego area! The prices are extremely low for what I consider to be the highest quality wash and service. It is common to have more than five people wiping down my car after it emerges from the wash and the car is already meticulously vacuumed at this point. Vista Hand Wash & Gas, keep up the GREAT WORK!

I know theres a couple bad reviews here but in actuality thats what caused me to come here. I mean who wants bad reviews right. Anybody who wants to be in business will over compensate for any shortcomings in the past. My car was so clean for the $39 package, at first, I didnt even know it was my car. Great job guys 👍

The guys here are great! Cant beat the free wash w/ oil changes, and the detailing is top notch. The waxing preserves my washes for 3-4x as long as before.

For 18 bucks it definitely exceeded my expectations. My car looked like if it was fresh off the lot! Quick and right under 15 mins. Great job

Paid $40 bucks to get the super deluxe car wash. Specifically asked about interior cleaning to include a THOROUGH carpet vacuuming and cleaning out all the interior cubbies and storage pockets, etc. Was assured it would all be done. It was done, but not well. Spent 30-plus minutes AFTER I got it home going over all the windows which were all streaked, removing little bits of sticky stuff on the exterior of the car and windshield that 2 seconds of elbow grease removed, and re-vacuuming the entire car. Mats were still full of sand. Wont go back.

I go out of my way to have my car detailed here. There are many other places along my route but I have had exceptional service with this location. That said, today I brought my car in for a mini-detail with an emphasis on the interior of my car. I really didnt need my seats cleaned; I just wanted a thorough cleaning so this seemed the most logical service available. I was told the detail would take about an hour to complete so after paying, I walked around the shopping plaza. When I returned about 40 minutes later, I was shocked to see my car unattended; it appeared to be ready. I signaled the foreman to claim my car, he verified I had paid and he handed me my keys. After he walked away I noticed my tires were cleaned but didnt appear to have been detailed. The foreman noticed me looking at my car and sent a guy over to apply the secret-tire-detail-sauce to my tires. I then opened my car and noticed the dash was dusty and I thought.... hmmmm, what was the $70 for if they didnt even dust the dashboard. I asked the foreman for his cloth and proceeded to wipe down the dash when he asked to see my receipt. I showed him the receipt and he quickly called a team over to my car to complete the interior. Then the foreman walked over to the guy writing up the tickets. I could hear voices raised and thats when I realized there had been a disconnect between the guy writing tickets and the service providers. I suspect that may have been the issue with the other reviewers who were not completely satisfied with their service.The foreman made it right in my case. I recommend this location highly, and if you are not completely satisfied, I recommend you inform the manager so they can make it right.

Did a great job. Just had my car moved on a hauler from illinois. It was in terrible shape. They got it looking like new again. Ill definitely come back

I was trying to find a place that I could get my car detailed. Thought I would see what a wash would be here first.

For the price I paid for a full wash, wax, and detail it was extremely disappointing. Dont get me wrong. My cars interior is a lot cleaner than it was before, but they have a lack in attention to detail. Plus I have waterspots all over my car. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone who is obsessed with cleanliness. Maybe a basic wash.

Do not waste your money! I paid $60 for the polish express packet. There were bugs still on the exterior of my vehicle and the wax job was done incorrectly. The inetrior of my vehicle was just as bad. My dashboard was extremely oily because it wasnt wiped down properly and my seats werent cleaned. They rushed through everything and there customer service skills are non-existent.

I wont be back. The manager agreed that it was a poor wash job and then walked away. I was compensated with a free carwash. Its not worth it for the disrespect that I received.

They did a good job washing and cleaning my car BUT they scratched my brand new rims. A little careless.

I use this only to leave positive reviews but I had to make an exception this time.A typical warm day and I had been by two other car washes but just drove by because the lines were so long. I happened upon the Shell Vista Handwash & Gas in Oceanside and was surprised their lines werent very long, so I went. I paid for their second most expensive service (Polish Express - full service car wash, wheel treatment, tire dressing, exterior dressing, and orbital wax).I decided to sit and wait for the service to be complete and sat where I saw my car come out of the wash and broke ought to be dried. I explained to them that I paid for a wax job and tire work. So they took it out of the sun and brought it to the shade to wax it. I watched him hurriedly use the orbital waxer around my car and then wipe it down. Then it got driven back into the sun and they said it was ready. I told them the wheels havent been done because the rims were still dirty and there certainly was no dressing on the tires. I started inspecting my car and noticed wax still on my car and they did nothing to the cars interior except vacuum it.They tried to send me off twice without doing what I paid for and so one of the guys decided to get in my face and told me to leave (and of course their manager wasnt around). This ponytailed guy, first of all, should walk away from a pissed off customer because all he did was escalate it further. Ive never been more irate not only from the poor service, lack of any attention to detail, but also this buffoon who made matters worse.If you come to this car wash just watch and be sure they do everything you paid for. I have to wipe the rest of the wax off the car, clean the interior, and re-wash the rims even though I paid for all that to be done. I wouldnt have even given it a one star rating.I hope the manager or owner calls me (I wont hold my breath). Ive copied this post just in case they try and delete the negative reviews so I can post it again. So frustrated!

I always come here. I have very... very...expensive wheels and Im very cautious where I get my SUV washed. Other washes have ruined my wheels in the past. These guys,they seem to take their time and I never worry about my car or SUV coming out worst than it went in.

I was told going in that the works shouldnt be more than 100 dollars. They charged me 160 dollars for the works AND THEY DIDNT DO THE BACK SEATS. They just skipped all the backseat upholstery. For 160 dollars. Go literally ANYWHERE but here.

I am happy to report that the manager, Sam made up for past mistakes on my car washes!I am revising my review to 4 stars (not five, cuz nobodys perfect).After contemplating what so many folks whine about on here, I came to the decision that, hey,its just a car wash, not first-class valet service, and Im only paying $10-$15 for the service.For a carwash they do a pretty decent job!

Asked them to wash the bed of our truck twice. Had to follow up first time and second time paid $50 bucks for super wash and wax and they DID NOT WAS THE BED AGAIN. Will not go back.

Paid $70 for The Works plus having my carpets and mats cleaned, however my carpets and mats are the only things that are clean. Theres dust caked to some of the vents, sand on my center console and in my cup holders, dirt on my windshield (passenger side), dirt and lint on my seats, black marks on my door panels...For $70, this place did a terrible job, stick with their $13 full service, or just wash your car yourself.

Do not let them work on your car!I took my car in for an oil change, the mechanic tried to upsell me an in cabin air filter change even after I told him I wasnt interested. He insisted on pulling the filter to show me how dirty it was and in the process he broke a small arm that moves the filter door when you change from re-circulate to external air.long story short: Mechanics carelessness (or apathy) cost me $150 extra.
