Got my hair and beard done by Taryn today. I specifically wanted to go to a stylist because I was tired of being asked what would you like to do to your hair as I would rather trust an expert. The shop itself was unique and homely, and although he didnt touch my hair directly I felt like Evan the owner was a cool dude that put his whole heart, sole, and vibe into the place. Taryn was amazing, gave great suggestions, did my hair and beard seeming effortlessly, and was just a great person to chat with in that old school Barber Shop style of friendly conversation while getting the necessities done. Very few places do beards these days so they definitely deserve a major recommendation just that. Highly recommended and instantly became my go-to place.

Everything you want out of a barbershop experience. The shop is nice and clean, there is all this interesting art, the barber has a lifetime of interesting stories, and you will get a super clean hair cut. My favorite is a high fade with a beard trim. He made a return customer out of me.

Booked a last minute appointment today to get my 8 year old son a haircut. I am a cosmetologist myself but cutting my sons hair is no easy chore. So I entrusted the mission to this barber around the corner from home and I can’t believe we didn’t do this sooner! Not only did Evan give my son the best haircut he’s had yet (My sons words) but he was able to do that while keeping him calm and comfortable. When we walked out he told me “mommy he is the only barber I want to cut my hair now, he was the best barber ever”So pleased we found Uncle Jimmys today! We will be back for our next cut in a few weeks!!Thanks Evan you’re the best!!
