If I could leave more starts I would!!!! Start to finish the absolute BEST experience I’ve ever had dealing with any type of company!Everyone was so helpful, kind, caring, professional, and any and every positive word in between!I had to switch my car while it was POURING outside they came out with raincoats, umbrellas, helping hands, and smiles! Thank you so much Enterprise this office really knows how to take care of their customers!Also I’m in LOVE with my rental ❤️

Staff very helpful and accomodating. Rented from them before with no issues. Would have given 5 stars but this time around got a vehicle that was infested with roaches. Could not return it because when I discovered this issue I was already out of state. Upon return i advised them of the issue they apologized, gave me a discount on rental and advised that they will do a deep detail clean on the vehicle.

0 stars if I could. Had reservatiom at 12 and had to wait till 2 to get the car. It was in the back getting cleaned apparently. They signed me in then had me sit and wait. Sat for about 30 minutes patiently before I asked wheres the car and they finally told me for the first time it was in the back getting cleaned.Ok well why wasnt that cleaned before I got there when I had the reservation and then I kept asking about the car every 20 or so minutes and just kept telling me in the back getting cleaned. Does not take 2 hours to clean a car. Which 100% should have been done before I even arrived at my scheduled time. I would not recommend this enterprise to anyone ever. Have had extra $200 charges last visit with them as well so I think this was the last visit Ill be having to enterprise.Edit: after being in the car for longer then a few miles we noticed it wasnt just the outside area but the car itself. It smells like someone left a babys dirty diaper in a hot car.

I rented my vehicle from the Ocala location, although I live in a different county. Prior to COVID-19, my company did business with them. So I always enjoyed this location. They are always professional & very efficient.

They did me justice on renting the car though when I was returning i wasnt able to get a ride home. I ask if they could, they said they couldnt because Maps says I live 10 miles from them. I know better I drive this everyday. It cost me $35.00 with a cab company because Uber had a problem picking me up.

We have rented cars from Enterprise before and have had good experiences, but this specific place was not the best. The people that worked here were nice, but the car was HORRIBLE! When we rented the car there were crumbs all over the seats and the car smelt like smoke when it was a non smokers car! We had to drive with the windows as the smell was horrible. When we returned car a worker asked how we liked it and we said if we are honest it is the worst car we have rented. He said he would talk to his manager to see what they could do about it. He got back to us and said that they could give us $10 off! Really $10!

I gave a star to be nice lol. However this was the worst rental vehicle I’ve ever rented. It was completely filthy, stains everywhere as if it were a work truck. The tires kept going low, I was pulled over because the tag was expired, it smelled like smoke, I was surely convinced that it was probably an employee’s truck because there was absolutely no way a rental car would have so many issues. My fiancé and I actually found it comical that this truck had even been given to me and supposedly the only truck they had available. This particular location has really gone down in the last year or so. The amount I paid for that truck should have been cut in half for the condition it was. I’m appalled by Enterprise. I will definitely be renting again, just not from that store. Smh…. I wish I could post the pictures I took you the inside of this vehicle

If i could give a zero i absolutely would. One of the worst places Ive been into to do business.. Ive been renting cars and trucks for years from enterprise.. But will no longer even think about it anymore. The rudeness of some of the people there at the 10th street ocala florida location is absolutely the worst ive ever seen in my 59 years.. The young man if i would even call him that..the young punk was so rude to me and my wife..after telling him i would be talking to a supervisory in charge..he said we dont need your old folks business any way..we make our money from the younger people i will never be going to this establishment ever again

My wife and I rented a pick up to go into the mountains of Tennessee and the service from inception was amazing I didn’t wait very long to get the truck The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable and very personable. When I return on the truck again I didn’t wait very long the staff was super informative and very helpful and very kind. I will be using Enterprise again the next time I go on vacation.

We rented a car against my wife’s choices as she had a bad experience before. I assured her they were good. They were horrible the service was terrible ( take it or leave it) they are still over charging because of tolls (toll=2.00 the service charge 11.00 ) we went thru twice. They ended up charging us 27.00. On top of the 879.00 we ended up paying. NEVER AGAIN!!! Beware of hidden charges, and the extras that YOU will pay.

I was not please with what transpired with this rental... My very first time, after moving to a new city and area, but never the less, my first issue was to the extent that the deposit was raised from 200 - 300... I could have overlooked, but never the less, I transferred enough to cover the rental of the agreement from online... My disposition was to the extent that the branch manger was not willing to give me a one time forgiveness, after not being aware that the deposit was now 300 dollars, and all deluxe rental must go on a credit card, verses debit... Therefore, I felt for customer satisfaction, I should have been allowed to keep the rental as agreed, instead of going down to a lower rental due to the credit card not having the sufficient funds.. If I would have known in advance, I would have ensured that the sufficient funds would have been on the credit card that was being used to rent the car.. Therefore, this would be my last time using that location... I will go to another location in the future for a rental...

Although the first day of our renting experience was a bad experience with vehicle breakdown and 17 hours wait for assistance from Enterprise Road Service to bring a replacement vehicle, our local Enterprise office was willing to go above and beyond to keep a 40 year customer. We will be using Enterprise in the future for all of our rental car needs.

Car said it was clean it wasn’t there was receipts in the middle console back seat had sand all over it and the paper saying it was cleaned and free wipe that the car comes with from the previous renter was still in glove box used and wrapper in trash had to stop and clean before picking up family for trip normally don’t have a problem but this time I don’t know if it was someone being lazy or a mix up I mean staff was nice and the car wouldn’t let me go over 65 kept telling me it was at max speed limit so interstate was kinda weird for $331 I was not happy would give one star but the pretty lady who helped me was super nice ps I forgot to return the car with the sunglasses I found in the sunglasses holder with the car better not charge me extra

I’m a long time customer of Enterprise. In fact, I rented vehicles from them for a full year back in 2019. I live in Boston, Massachusetts and can tell you our Enterprises are incredible with their easy, no nonsense rentals, freshly detailed, brand new cars and affordable prices. When my family visits me from out of state, my local Enterprise has no issues renting to them.I am currently down in Ocala, Florida visiting with my best friend. I decided last minute to extend my trip, reserve a rental vehicle and drive down to Ft. Lauderdale to surprise my father who I haven’t seen in 2 years now, 1 of those years thanks to COVID-19.I go to pick up the vehicle today only to find out that they won’t rent to me without a major credit card due to being an out of state customer. I’ve never heard of such a rule and a dumb one at that! Florida is tourist central. Not many people have credit cards, nor wants them these days.I have one major credit card (Discover) that I use for big purchases, which I have available on my Apple Pay but don’t physically have the card with me here, as I wasn’t planning on purchasing anything big on vacation. I have my debit visa card from Citizens Bank with enough money in my bank account to buy a brand new vehicle off a lot if I really wanted too. But NOPE! they wouldn’t let me give me them an additional deposit. They wouldn’t let me pay more. Literally nothing. Wasted my time and ruined a whole day of vacation for me.Even JetBlue was so accommodating in extending my return flight and switching airports for me last minute, all so I could pull off surprising my father who had no idea I was even in his state. Jetblue even refunded me money because it was cheaper to leave on a different day instead. Considering Enterprise was going to charge me $400 for a 2 day rental, plus a $300 security deposit on top of it, when my round trip airfare from Boston to Orlando and back was literally only $228 and no need for a deposit, nor did I need to use a major credit card. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Makes no sense.I’m heading to go pick up a car rental from Budget instead, as they guaranteed me that they will accommodate me with a vehicle. Very disappointed with the Enterprise down here, as it never even occurred to me that I would have an issue considering I’m a well established customer within their system. Even have enough points for a free day of a car rental. Should’ve read the reviews online before even bothering since I’ve now lost a full day that I could have spent with my father and Uber rides in Florida are crazy expensive.*** Update ***I ended up reserving a rental vehicle through the Budget app for pick up at Ocala International Airport in Florida. They let you link your Amazon prime account which gives you a discount and makes the pick up process literally flawless. They **DID NOT** require a major credit card from me even though I was from out of state. Took my debit card with no problems. Also, they had no issues with me driving a one way trip and returning the vehicle at the Ft. Lauderdale airport instead. Enterprise tried saying it would cost me extra.Got a BRAND new, white (my fav color) Mazda 6 with Apple car play that only had 4K miles on it. Made my 5 hour drive well worth it! I was seriously impressed at how easy everything was when Enterprise had me in tears the day before. Budgets prices were substantially lower for the two day rental as well and I received my deposit back the day after I returned the vehicle. Unheard of! Budget now has a new loyal customer going forward! They deserve all my business.An Enterprise manager reached out due to this review, said to email him which I did and of course, have yet to hear anything from them.The only valuable thing us humans have in life is our time, which is something we can NEVER get back. No monetary value can be placed on the full day I missed with my 70 year old father who lives out of state & whom I haven’t seen in 2 years. It meant the world to him! The staff was very helpful and courteous. Unfortunately the quality of the vehicle left much to be desired. The minute I got the vehicle on the highway it was evident that at least one of the tires was out of balance.Due to time restraints I kept the car. I reported it to the staff at the location I rented it from.

They assisted me with how to leave my own vehicle and provided me with great travel tips that better prepared me to drive in the area that I was traveling to. The place that we picked the car up was good. But the person I talked to on the phone when I called this morning around 10 am I asked if we could pick up the rental car today instead of at 9am in the morning. I was told to come in at 2pm. I asked if I would be charged Extra and he said No. I wont be charged Extra. But when I went to get the car the price went from $656.20 to $705. If I wasnt in a situation where I could have gone someplace else. I would have. But my wife and I have to make an Emergency trip to New York State because her Father has become sick and he Needs us to be there with him. I didnt get the gentlemans name that I talked to. I didnt feel that I would have to. Our family has rented vehicles from Enterprise in the past and we had No Problems. Please have someone get in touch with me. Thank You and Have a Great Day

Just a heads up for those using the Enterprise in the Downtown Ocala area...there is no overnight parking at this lot. This information is not on the website and was extremely inconvenient. I was told I could park my car across the street in the plaza, which at this time I had no other options. My reservation was at 9 am, did not get out of there until 9:50 am.

The corporate policy of not accepting cash/ATM unless you have a power bill and water bill is ridiculous. I have eliminated all credit card debt and destroyed the cards. I also sold my homes and bought a Pevost liberty coach. I dont have electric and water bills any more. I only pays cash and I have plenty. Enterprise didnt want cash so I decided to drive my Harley Davidson while my sedan is in the shop. Their loss my gain.

I recently reserved a econo car online to make a 500 mile trip and save miles on my car. I did not wan,t to leave my brother without a car for 2 days. I inquired about a AAA discount or upgrade. They said they are not affiliated with AAA, however they did upgrade me to a Ford Fusion Hybrid.What a blast to drive, and I got 37 miles to a gallon. The people at Enterprise made it so easy to check in and out. Overall a very Positive experience. A ++++

WASNT satisfied with THIS particular place. First insulted on line about having an older antique car with FULL coverage insurance. I was hit by a young white boy wit GIECO INSURANCE (HORRIBLE). THIS was an absurd experience!!! MY iterirary said a Full sized car. I was given an economy. The car @ ENTERPRISE Wasnt well maintained. After 2-3 uses the washer fluid ran out. Returned it back, a MORE heavier set Black dude was VERY belligerent and unprofessional. This was a Horribly experience. Im glad it is over.

😡😡 very very poor service. So I rented a car from Abington Pennsylvania. Hade to pay a lot. The car looked new and even nice. A Chevrolet Malibu. Was driving down to Ocala Florida and HAD TO FULL TANK 4 TIMES ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️. The car was too slow and consumed like a shark. Getting to the branch in Ocala to change it and am told I can’t have a car of that same size, but something smaller. Not what I bargained for. I guess this will be the last time with you guys. Am really disappointed.

Dealing with the enterprise in Lake Sumter vs dealing with this location is a night and day difference. Horrible experience at this location. Never again will I or my family deal with this enterprise in ocala. Over six individuals sitting outside waiting for rentals and they keep giving excuses to why the vehicles are not ready.10:30 pick up time and its now 12:15. All because they say the vacuum was broken. Ridiculous way of dealing with equipment issues and the lack of quality customer service. Save your money and go to another location.

Ive been here twice now to rent a car for a few days, both times I showed up about 10 mintues early for the paper work. The car was still being cleaned both times and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes past my appointment time. I understand that cleaning the cars is very important during this pandemic however I dont understand why the car wasnt cleaned before I got there so it would be ready at my schedule pick up time. The customer service was great though as each person was really nice. Its just disappointing to have to wait 15 minutes past my pick up time. If it had only happened once I could get past it but twice is a bit much. Lets see how it goes on the next rental.

I was new to Enterprise but our company has been usibg them for many years. I have rented from enterprise for years.. I had a issue with my licences being out of state. Ok that was fine. My husband had a state issued license. 8 proofs of residency. But because we only have 1 actual utility bill, because the utilities are included with our monthly rent payment. In which we had the lease to show that. But she talked down to us like we couldnt afford to rent from them.. telling us not to bring her a bill with past due balances listed on it, or a prepaid bill. I will NEVER rent from enterprise again.. I went to avis and got a rental for $200 LESS than what I was paying through enterprise even after redeeming my points.. The Guy Avis treated us like royalty and had us out the door in 10 minutes.. would highly recommend Avis! It is not the policy at enterprise might have it is the way she presented it. Talking down to us..

I would like to thank Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Ocala for ruining our trip today.I reserved a Suburban two weeks ago to take our son to College. I arrived at the facility on SR200 near Pine Ave. @ 10 a.m. to pick up the vehicle and it was not there.They did not apologize and I will never use Enterprise every again. PLEASE BOYCOTT Enterprise Rent-A-Car!!!!!!If I had a choice, I wouldnt even give them one star, but it wont allow me to post the review with out a star. Again, they dont even deserve a star.

It was very easy to reserve online... I went to the place 30 minutes before close and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes the agent was thorough and very nice and the return was even faster.. the car was amazing it was smooth and clean and had apple play and lane assist!! I made it to Georgia and back safely and affordably with my baby and I am very satisfied overall!!! I will definitely be back my next trip!

If I could give negative stats on this location I would! They are rude, snappy, give major attitude and each employee is giving us different information about what they can and can not do. I called last night, went by 3 hours before we were to pick it up and the time we were to pick it up. They told us they had to go find a car.... only thing they could do to help us is put us in a more expensive car... really? Because of your laziness and inconsideration, I have to pay more!?!

Rented a car on-line one way (Extra $129 for one way). Just moved and had to leave our car with wife because her sister was in hospiscare. I had no one to pick me up so I ask several times when making reservation if they would drive me home. They said they would but I would have to go to an Enterprise store about twice as far from my house (12 miles). Drove down and when I got to this store they told me they did care what corporate said they would not drive me home. After several minutes of discussion I was so mad and disgusted with the staff I told I would call a cab. Could not get a cab so I went back in the office and told them I was unable to get hold of cab co. They offered no help at all. I ask for another cab number and when I called I got answering service. I told the staff I had no ride and did not know what I would. They all ignored me. I got mad again and told them I would just walk home and that I was 65 years old and if something happen to me it was on them and their company. Just ignored me again and I started walking the 12 miles. Walked three miles before cab company call and came picked me up. I was so glad because I dont think I could have made it. Cost me $40 for the ride home. Will never use Enterprise again! Oh one more thing. You can not get anyone from the corporate office on the phone. I called and called while walking home.Mike

The staff were courteous and very helpful and both the Ocala Florida location and the Stuart Florida location but maintenance issues on the cars that I got were both terrible the first car I had was a relatively new Sentra and it must’ve been an accident because it sounded like it was rattling apart When driving it down the road, it was also no windshield washer fluid put into the car at the time of pick up, I had to stop and buy a bottle. When I got to Stuart Florida again they were very courteous and helpful that car was dirty I couldn’t see out of the windows because it looks like they used a dirty rag to clean the windows and the car was not clean when I got it but other than that it was a good experience

The Assistant Branch Manager Amber Rangel deserves major kudos! To meet such a young, but driven woman loving what she does and doing it with such grace was an inspiration. In the past, I had poor Enterprise experience and although Amber was willing to hear my side, she really changed my mind watching her love her job and the company! My wife and I had our van in a local shop and Amber went out of her way to make sure we were both comfortable in our rental. Even though the other manager at the location got upset with Amber for respectively listening to our needs, Amber continued to put our needs above all else. She should be rewarded for this alone. While checking us in, she sat and was willing to stay with us until we were 100% ready to drive off of the lot and hit the road. I respect her joyous personality and respect for the little time I had to offer that shined through with her quick/thorough approach! Upon my rental ending, Amber was not at work and the staff was a little stand off. They were acting as if they never knew I existed. Very upsetting. The next day when back in the office, Amber reached out to my wife to ensure everything went well. That meant a lot. Our car actually had to go back to the shop so having Amber offer her time once again, was special. She truly cares about her customer and not just money like some people. Thank you for really being an inspiration to me and my family, Amber. You give us hope in current young adults. We will absolutely be back to your Enterprise in the future. Should be called Criminal Enterprise. Had a reservation, waited forty five minutes outside, car brought out and backed into a space (didnt think anything of it at the time) did a walk around the car and it looked basically pristine. Lady tricked me into paying for a full tank of gas I didnt use. What ever. Drive about a hundred miles cautiously for two days and returned and drove straight into the same spot to park. Guy finds a dent. Basically underneath the car on the rocker panel. The Parking lot is sloped and the dent was obvious from a lower vantage point but near invisible from above. So when the damaged piece is facing uphill (intentionally backed into space) you cant see it (unless you literally lie on the ground)Someone went over a curb with this car before I got it, and it was either missed by Enterprise, ignored, or intentionally pinned on a customer who declined the extra coverage. I will never ever rent from them again. PSA film the walk around and take your time. Lay on the ground and get under the car, bring a friend get a second set of eyes, protect yourself its a legal scam. Plenty of stories like mine. Just Google them.

A dealt with a few different enterprises employees. Besides some of the staff being rude the ride was great. There was stuff inside the vehicle that of course me and the lady didn’t see together but it was no biggie. Drop off went smoother than the pick up. I can’t say I can complain. I had a few changes far as drop off and pick up and the lady did it for me no problem. The guy seemed to not really know what was going on. Other than that I’ve dealt with enterprise before and they’re a good company. Expensive, but good.

None of the employees were wearing masks, despite the sign displayed in front of them stating that the company requires they do so.We were also told we could pick up at 8:30 and had to wait until 9, which was frustrating given our planned travel timeline.

I reserved a car and had to wait 30 min for them to get to me. No big deal. I asked if they would pick me up noMe: why?Them: covidNo big deal. I had to extend my rental three times because the mechanic kept running into problems. Each time I called I had to wait ~1hr to get someone on the phone. No big deal. During each 3 hour wait theyre hold music sang enterprise, well pick you up! But they wouldnt pick me up and they wouldnt answer theyre phone. So it was a big deal.

The rental was okay, but once I returned the rental enterprise charged me way more than was necessary for the 4 gallons of gas that i didnt refill, and now i am screwed out of $50 that i cannot afford to lose at this time, and all they could say was sorry sir we cant help.

Saturday is the worst time to visit. Even if you have reservations. Please make sure you book them 24 hours before the pick up time. The representative Amber was anxious about leaving. She showed no good customer service. She even told another representative to not answer the phone. It was understandable that the facility was closing but the service seemed like it was in a hurry to get customers out.

Let me start by saying we really liked the car we got, however this issues turned a great experience in to a negative one. We picked up the car shorty after 11am.. and per the agreement car must be returned by 11am next day.. Great no problem... we leave the location. Issue 1: the batteries on the key/remote were dying. This was only 3 hours after we picked up the car. We contacted the office and were told to take it to Firestone to have them order a new battery.. WHAT?!?! We were told we would have to pay for a new battery ourselves and as a courtesy they would credit it off the bill (they didn’t). So we took it to Auto Zone and thankfully found someone who new what to do. Well around 3pm we decided to keep the car for 1 more day. So we called and spoke to the person who answered and she said no problem she will charge the card for the 2nd day.. Ok 1st day down.. minor issue, taken care of no problem.. Issue 2: They bounces my acct... Something told me to check my bank.. Comes to find out they charged me for a 3 day rental instead of a 2 day rental. NOT WHAT WE AGREED TO! So the time comes to return the car. It’s just before 11am as per the agreement we don’t get charged for another 24 hours. I let the attendant know that I was not happy as we were charged for 3 days not 2. He goes in to the building comes back out and attempts to justify why they charged me and that I would not be receiving a refund for the 3rd charge because when they girl ran the 2nd charge it changed/reset my contract time to 4pm. So when 4pm came the next day and it was not returned it was considered keeping it for another day to which I said No! I picked it up at 11, I am now returning it exactly 48 hours not 72 hours later.. and either they fix it or I would be calling my card company and reporting the charge as fraudulent. the only options he gave me were A: take the car for another day or B: Speak to his manager. B it is! He went in the building and came out about 10 minutes later and said that they worked it out and I would be getting refunded like he was doing me a favor. If this is the piss poor customer service you all wanna give, I will take my money to another company or maybe a different location and see if your employees at a different site don’t want to rip people off and try and justify a wrong like they are talking to someone with no common sense or logic.

The staff and service is 4/5 stars. We had an issue with the return time of the vehicle and extra charges. The manager and I came to an agreement. Over all the customer service and vehicle given was impressive. I will continue to rent from this location.

Absolutely horrible. Terrible customer service, attitudes are out of this world and they hold grudges like crazy. My advice just go to the air port. Much better service. It’s unfortunate that’s there’s only 2 stores here in Ocala. So sad.

The car was dirty at pick up - no floor mats on the passenger side - either in the front or back, there was candy stuck to the seat belt, no washer fluid, and the oil needed changing, as we were reminded daily on the dashboard.

Great car at a great price! They even picked me up from home and unexpectedly offered me a ride back home when I returned the car. The agents have always been very professional and courteous each of the few times I have rented from Enterprise. The car was clean, smelled good, and gassed up ready to go. I would definitely recommend these guys to my friends and family.

This location of Enterprise has been the best. Both times of renting from here has been a great experience. Everyone there was so pleasant and it was obvious that they all enjoyed their jobs. Best customer service that I have run across in a business in quite a long time. They bend over backwards to make your experience of one that makes you want to come there to rent a car even if you didnt need to. Highly recommended. I would steer clear of this location. I set reservation four days prior to pick up. I was told I could use a debit card with deposit and proof of insurance. I arrived and was informed that none of that was correct and I needed in state identification and another form of payment. I use enterprise often for work all over the country. If they had let me know in advance of these things I could have made reservations else where. They wasted my time and really put me in a tough spot. Not only this but they also black listed me to the other enterprise rentals in town. Telling the other stores that I cussed them out which is not at all true. Regardless Horrible experience and will never return.

I had initially wanted to put 5 stars because Amber, the assistant mgr, was very helpful and quick to get me on the road back home - and it was the day before Thanksgiving, and I was in a bind. While checking me in, she asked if I wanted the additional insurance, and said it was $28 - I asked if that was daily (I had reserved a 3 day rental,) and she said No - that it was one time only charge. I said sure! Unfortunately, not only did she do the rental agreement for only 2 days (it was a 1 way rental from Ocala, FL to Richmond, VA - again, for 3 days) the insurance WAS charged every day - so the rental amount went from $344 to $517 - and they charged me initially for the $344, PLUS a $200 deposit - a total of $544!! Since everything happened so quickly, AND it was electronically done on those mobile devices they use, I didnt even SEE that it was for only 2 days . . . and that the insurance was charged daily. When I emailed to ask what happened, there was NO response. Highly disappointed and would caution anyone using this facility.

Everyone was friendly and courteous. Branch easy to find. Only 4 stars because we had to wait even though we were early to pick up. There were 4 agents to help customers but you only have two wash bays to prepare cars for customers. I believe only one was being used even though there was approximately a 3 to 1 ratio of customers coming in and cars going out.

Make sure you check the vehicle that you are renting. They tend to pass over this aspect, but thoroughly check it out when it is returned. You will want to make sure that you note the fuel level when you check out, here again they tend to pass over this, but will charge you for a full tank when you return your rental. They did make an adjustment when brought to their attention. Makes one wonder about their policies??????

I am very surprised at the first class attention I get from Enterprise. Each time I go in they help me get the vehicle I want (or at least close to it) and go above and beyond to keep me moving. Even if they are busy they at least acknowledge me. I travel a lot and have been renting from other companies. Enterprise has won me over. Keep up the great work!
