I have never had a good experience with dealerships but I had heard good things about this location. I was helped by Wyatt who was amazing! He helped me find the perfect car and didn’t try to go out of my budget. He also was very patient with me and didn’t try to rush me like other salesman have done previously. I highly highly hiiighly recommend coming here and asking for Wyatt. He’s a life saver!

I just purchased a vehicle from here the 1st one was a Tahoe which I felt very pushed and shoved to get and when I had went back I was able to change that and got a new sales person her name is Lindsey king and she is wonderful she work with me she made me feel like I was more of a personal customer then just a paycheck. The 1st salesman only showed me one vehicle but when I went back within 5 hours of buying the vehicle unhappy customer happy customer I was shown 2 other vehicles that I could have choose from . Lindsey was very helpful in making this happen for me and I went from a Tahoe to an Armada and much happier with this choice. Both finance officers where great to work with.

Buying experience started off a little rocky with some miscommunication...but Lindsay and Jeff did everything they could to fix it and make the experience so much better! Lindsay was extremely thorough in answering questions and explaining everything about my new Trailblazer, she also made it more personal as if dealing with a friend rather than a sales person! Their service department needs work. I have had several issues with my new truck purchased Labor Day Weekend 2020. Check engine light came on 2 months after I bought it and it keeps coming back on, something to do with voltage. Was just in there 2 weeks ago for servicing and checked for the codes for the Check Engine light again. Check Engine light is on again now. Spent almost 2 months in the shop for rear seals being bad. First time it was replaced it was in for almost 3 weeks. Seal was bad that they replaced and was back in the shop less than a month later for another almost 3 weeks. Buying a vehicle from them is easy and a good experience but when it comes to service and repair I suggest that you go to another dealership.

Took my BRAND NEW 2021 Camaro in because the ratio completely died after it installed an update. I waited there 4 HOURS just to be told they needed to replace me entire ratio system, said it would be there in 1-2 days. Then, was told it would be 7-10 days. 8 days later and Im now told they dont know when theyll get it. Super aggravating. Wasnt even offered a loaner car with a working ratio.

My 2021 Tahoe was in the body shop 4 months and 9 days. Not happy about that. The service department caught up 6 recalls, very happy with them and the parts department, Tom in the parts department is very good. You should give him a raise. Service and parts is why they high rating.

Had a really good experience buying our 2019 Honda CR-V here but when had to take my vehicle in for service light, they were not helpful at all. Told me to just take my vehicle to Honda. I bought an extended service plan and that was what I was told. Never informed that the extended service plan I bought could be used anywhere. Yes I would rather take it to the manufacturer but I take my vehicle there, at least know something about it, rather than just telling to go to another service center.

Neil (Internet sales manager) answered the call! He is informative and set me up with Kevin Olsen. I met with Kevin later on that day for a test drive. Kevin is equally full of information on Chevy vehicles, but since I was interested in a pre-owned Toyota, he brushed up on specs for a highlander. The sales team at Palm Chevrolet are relaxed, easy going and really want you to feel comfortable with the deal you are making. Once the decision is made on a vehicle, Sven takes the reigns on financials. When you are in Svens office, you are in good company! 1. Sven is not dull 2. He is too pretty for his office 3. You will receive the BEST financial/insurance/warranty advice! Palm Chevrolet is a well organized team that works together to make the deal YOU want happen. Terrible experience today. Set up an appointment over 1 week ago for today, 7/21/21, for a recall and re-occurring DEF sensor issue. Dropped the truck off and had a couple more issues (check engine lights) and trailer connection issue to add to the already existing problems. Truck was there and I called the service rep and was told they have not even looked at it 7.5 hours later. Was told they only have one diesel tech but what does that have to do with an electrical issue on the trailering or the seat belt recall! Someone else could have at least looked at these. The service writer, Steve, was as polite as possible but what else could he do. Obviously there are larger issues and if I could give a zero stars I would.

In one word nightmare. I am so very disappointed and dissatisfied with this dealership and their ever changing stories. Each person we dealt with had a different explanation or “we can’t help what they said”. One full year of lies and cons!I picked up my 2SS Camaro drove next door and traded her in for a new Nissan. We loved our new Nissan so much we bought a second one in 2 weeks. Thanks Palm Chevy for being such BS artist for a full year. Now I’m very happy.Just an FYI for the consumer. DO NOT trust the finance person when they list things covered under the extra warranty. For example a lost key fob. Nope, cost me $400 for a new one. Rims losing paint, nope not covered. These two examples are the ones they specifically mentioned would be covered! No longer give loaners, make you wait hours just to find out you will have to come back.

Jeff sold me a warranty and told me I could cancel. I told him I didn’t want it but he insisted. The next day I call in to cancel and for some reason the finance manager was never available. I email them and they don’t answer. They make 50% off the warranty so of course the guy is hiding. Grimy people. Neil and Jeff. The reason dealerships get a bad rep. And the salesman owed me a rim and took 2 months to finally get me a rim.. I’ll be driving an hour to confront in person Thursday

Awful customer service. I called to inquire about used trucks on their lot and said I’ve been shopping around my local dealerships and wanted to see if they had anything. The guy answering says “Why do you wanna look at us if you’re looking somewhere else”. I explained that I wanted to look all around to find the right truck and he says he doesn’t wanna do business with someone that isn’t looking specifically for cars on their lot. He got offended that I didn’t want to only look at them and nowhere else, who wouldn’t shop multiple dealerships for the right truck? Don’t waste your time with these guys.

Excellent customer service. Purchased online and by phone. Only glitch was that dealership advertises certain cars as CPO, which means to them that the vehicles have had the CPO inspection, but do not include the CPO warranty that must be purchased separately. Another minor issue was that they would not hold the vehicle for more than 24 hours. I had a planned trip that would have taken my through Ocala, but their policy necessitated me driving down prior to my trip. Overall good experience.

Questionable Service Repair. Brought my car into the service department to be evaluated and fixed and was advised on 2 distinct issues that were in need of repair. Agreed and had those two issues repaired; however, once my car was returned to me it was in worse driving condition than when I had first brought it in. First, when car was returned post repair, I was told there was nothing wrong with the car. Once another look was requested, manager went on a ride along and was able to hear and feel what I had stated. Another diagnostic was completed, for them to to tell me that the problem was due to it being suspended in the air for the previous repair, and the age of the car. My car did not exhibit any of these problems previously, and they took no responsibility for their error.

My Colorado pickup, that I purchased new from Palm, is due a routine oil change. Since I am going out of town today for several days, I went by their service department today to see if I could get it done. I was greeted with a very, very rude and obnoxious “no way.” I apologized for interrupting the busy gentleman and left. I then went to their website and learned that I could schedule an appointment, the first possible date being over a week from today. At the local Toyota dealership, I am greeted with kindness and same day oil change service for my Avalon while I wait. I would like to suggest that Palm seriously upgrade their customer relationships and also take a few lessons from some of the 10-minute oil change shops on how to change oil rather than have good customers have to wait over a week for such a simple service. Very upset and if I could of rated no stars thats exactly what I would of done.We took our 2019 Chevy Equinox in for service due to a noise it was making. Which turned out to be the fuel pump which ate its self up and pieces of it went into the engine. They told us they needed to put a new engine in. I told them okay, and then told them we needed a rental. And told him that it was in our contract. The guy told me they didnt have one. I asked him about a rental since we were leaving on vacation.He said he couldnt get one.So I rented a car for the week for our vacation.When we returned from vacation; our car still wasnt repaired. I told them we had to turn our rental in and needed a car. So they rented us one. And I was told they would reimburse us for the car we rented.That was August 1st and as of today we still have not recieved our refund or even a call!!Then we had another problem with the same car that needed a new wiring harness.That was 2 months ago and still no call on the part or to even let us know anything.We are so upset and so disappointed in Chevy!!Wayne in response to your answer. You say your sorry about giving us the run around.But we have yet to receive our refund from the rental on August 1st.We should of never had to rent; If your employee had done his job. And had given us the rental, that our contract said we were entitled too.If you are truly a man of his word; We expect a full refund for the rental. We left 2 copies of the rental receipt with your employee.

Car drive and decision was great. My displease is with the financing side of the deal. I had already been in discussion with our bank for financing, all they had to do was send over the Buyers Order. Instead of this, they came back with oh this is what your bank is going to offer you, let us try others. After speaking with bank next morning, as I suspected, the dealer was suggesting a percent higher. After returning to finish the deal and request change of procedure, it quickly became aware they was not going to allow this. It became about the add-ons that would be lost, and even at one point How am I going to get my money was from the finance person. Clearly it was all about their pocket and not what we wanted. Sign this today and you can refinance it later. My husband loved the car, so at least he came out happy, whatever.

So the inherited wisdom is to avoid doing repairs for your car at the dealership when youre no longer under warranty. I was really happy with my Chevy Trax because in the 3 years that Ive owned it, Ive only had to pay for routine maintenance. So when the check engine light came on during my trip to FL from NY, I decided to visit PALM CHEVROLET expecting they may charge a little more but they will diagnose and get it right the first time. I COULDNT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. I turned the car over to a rep named Mike and explained that the check engine light was on and the car would lurch repeatedly during acceleration. He calls me a day later and says the problem is they need to replace the purge solenoid all the while trying to upsell me on things I didnt need like new shocks and wheel alignment. Instead, I asked them to check an inconsistency I was experiencing where the AC was blowing cold on the passenger side, hot on the driver side. I was told I would need a compressor, hose and AC recharge totaling $1,800+. I declined the AC repair but they charged me $131 for the diagnosis. FINE. Mike calls me Saturday afternoon and says your car is ready. When I get there, the check engine light was off and they replaced the purge solenoid, parts and labor totaling $255. Plus $131 AC diagnostic, $29 in tax, PLUS a $29 MISCELLANEOUS CHARGE my grand total, $444. I grin and bare it thinking I was done. 5 minutes into a 15 minute drive back to my mothers home, the check engine light came back on and is now blinking!!! I took video with my phone as I cringed in disbelief! I immediately left a voicemail explaining what happened. I brought the car back in Monday, showed Mike the video and he said he would take care of it. He calls me later and says his techs insist this is a separate unrelated issue and now I need a new ignition coil and spark plugs PLUS a tune up and system flush for a total of $1,030+!!! I immediately declined the system flush which only reduced the bill to $818. I told him I would call him back. A quick Google search revealed that the ignition coil and spark plug replacement was an easy novice level job that could be completed in 20 minutes. Advance Auto online had the parts as well as a 20% discount that made it $151. They charge $131 an hour in labor so by my estimate I was being charged for 5 hours on a job that at the most, probably only took 30 minutes. I declined the job, paid their diagnostic fee, picked up my car, bought the parts from Advance Auto and completed the work myself in 22 minutes following that simple instruction and diagram online. Additionally, I recharged my AC with freon and its now ICE COLD on both sides of the vehicle. Avoid Palm Chevrolet in Ocala Florida and for future reference avoid seeking repairs from ANY dealer when your car is out of warranty... THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

My husband and I visited the dealership on 10/31/20, were looking for a new truck. My husband was lead away from the new trucks to the used truck section were the trucks were older dirty and TOO SMALL FOR HIM. I can only assume that we looked as if we couldnt afford a new truck because it was never considered nor was our credit score asked during this visit. My husband is the executive chef at a local hospital; however it was my decision to leave due to the ABSOLUTE INCONSIDERATION GIVEN. You had the 2021 Camaro LT1 with specs I wanted listed for your dealership. Thats why I went there. But, the reason Im giving you a low score is that I was told the car would arrive in a week, maybe two, so I purchased it sight unseen. Now, the delivery is supposed to be next week, which makes it more than two weeks, IF it arrives on Tuesday as promised. And I sure hope it comes in... if it does, thats only a couple days beyond the original promise, so I wouldnt complain and would upgrade my review score if possible. I drive 40 miles from Lecanto, Florida to Palm Chevrolet for my oil changes on my 2019 C7 Corvette. They take detailed pictures of the car before the service to insure that there is no undisclosed damage and the oil fill has been exactly on the money the two times I have taken it there. I AM DISSATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES. I TOOK OUR SUV TO BE SERVICED AND MR. MIKE WAS MY SERVICE PROVIDER WHICH HE NEVER COMMUNICATED WITH ME. I ASKED HIM IF MY TIRE LIGHT CAN BE CHECKED HE SAID THEY WILL CHECK IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO ROTATE MY TIRES...AFTER WAITING FOUR HOURS I GET INTO MY SUV TO SEE NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT THE LIGHT. I NEVER WAITED THAT MANY HOURS FOR A OIL CHANGE...NO COMMUNICATION. IF I ASKED FOR SPECIFICS PLEASE CHECK... I NEEDED IT TO BE DONE.

Palm allows employees to just take spare keys they have and come and take your vehicle without any paperwork and not to mention it wasn’t in no repossession once trying to call palm about the employee you get hung up on while asking for a manager to report the employee such a horrible place !!

IL Park and Palm Chevrolet go the extra mile. I lost my key Fob at the dump. It was a holiday weekend and my options were limited. Not only did they go out of their way to find me a new one, IL delivered it to me in person. I cant thank then enough for all they have done for me.

Parts department would rather play on the phones than actually answer any questions about if they have a part in their inventory. Completely unprofessional, had to repeatedly tell them what the vehicle was, had to tell them 5 times what the part was, then had to tell them a few more times what the vehicle was, then the employee kept saying the wrong parts again, then kept saying I had a truck, it is not a truck. I worked in a parts department, it’s literally type it into a computer and a yes or no on the part, not here, here it’s a game, I was on speaker they were just playing and making fun of me the customer for calling and even asking about a part. I’d pay a 3x mark up elsewhere just to not have to deal with the complete lack of professionalism at this location, and that’s actually what I ended up doing, and ironically they did the same thing to business that I went to, because they called them also and got the run around game on the phone with them.

Very poor service cant get people to call you back and help you with the problem we are having with the vehicle they sold us. PS check your vehicles carefully people they sold us a vehicle with a key scratch running the length of the vehicle that had some kind of filler in it that came out when they detailed the vehicle. Now they are just giving us the run around.

This place is a great dealership I only come here to get parts for my vehicle that I cant get anywhere else the prices are pretty reasonable on certain things some prices cant be higher than other places but theyre kind of help me out get parts for my Chevy Cruze I couldnt get anywhere else any cheaper especially if youre needy of a part you need it quick they normally have it and if not they can get it to you that day or the next I like the guy that works in parts and labor hes pretty cool to you and hell talk to you and he has great communication
