Very honest people have been in the area for a long time to a fabulous repair job every time we bring our vehicles there. They charge for a diagnosis of the problem but let me tell you its worth it. Excellent people excellent care.
Their service and expertise is a cut above the ordinary shop. Nice folks too. One place I dont mind hanging out.
Called for a quote to get lifters changed in my truck. Was quoted 2400 dollars and to bring the truck in, in 8 days. On the 8th day I was called and told the price was 2800 dollars. When questioned and asked what parts were included, the parts list was wrong. Head mechanic rob said he would call me back when questioned about parts and price. Rob called back and told me I was right the quote was wrong and the new price was 3300 dollars. I told them don’t touch my truck I will be in the next day to take it somewhere else. When MIKE the parts guy was confronted about the fact that I spent almost 1000 dollars on rental cars and wasted 8 days, he simply shrugged and asked “what’s that got to do with me?”. I said you gave me the quote right? He tried to say he didn’t remember the number. He then tried to tell me “that’s the way things go sometimes bud.” When I talked to the owner that was sitting right next to him, he said he was aware of the situation. I said so you don’t care either and his reply was NOPE.Will never go to auto tech II again and have warned every living soul I have been in contact with. By doing this, I had another gentleman tell me a similar situation they put him in.Seems to be they wait to get your vehicle, try to get it started then when it’s taken apart call you with a higher quote. If I could give zero stars I would. I have reported this to the BBB.
Nice people, great service and reasonable
Excellent job and kept me informed all the way. I gave (Bill) the mechanic a repair that the Ocala Ford dealer said they could not do. Bill let me know what the problem was and performed the repairs. I will definitely use this garage for my repairs on my Ford.
Very pleased with everything about Auto Tech 11. Professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. The facility is clean & comfortable.Everyone in the customer waiting were also happy with the service. Didnt attempt to up sell me. No wonder theyve been in business for 30 years, they appreciate their customers. Highly recommend.Tom Males
Great service & reasonable prices. Friendly, respectful, knowledgeable staff.
I had to come in for a flat tire. It was handled in under an hour. These guys are absolute professionals who pride themselves in providing top tier service.
Been going there for 20 years now! Great service
Fast, efficient service! Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Auto tech is where we take our cars that are not on warranty. Weve been doing business with them for eight or nine years and have always been happy with their work and their honesty. Theyve done all kinds of work for us from tire repair to replacing wheel bearings on a boat trailer to repairing the supercharger on one of our cars. Good people and good work.
Auto tech II found the problem with my SUV and fixed it.no making up problems or added fees just the Truth and we will always go back to them
Great mechanics! They were able to fix my problem when no one else could.
I was referred to Auto Tech 2 from another repair facility that was unable to diagnose my intermittent issue after having my truck for 3 days. Auto tech 2 diagnosed my issue quickly and had me back on the road the following day. Outstanding service!!! Will differently be back in the future.
Thank you SO much. Everyone was so helpful, and rob was able to solve my problem! I ESPECIALLY like that rob kept me updated the whole time on what was going on, and my options. I will definitely be bringing my car back again (when needed). THANK YOU!
If you want it done right....your there. The knowledge here is second to none. The equipment here is second to noneBetter than the dealerships.
Fast, Friendly and Reasonably priced. Would recommend
Very pleasant staff. From the front desk to the mechanics. I appreciate their hard work and their desire to get my vehicle up and running. My mechanic, Rob, was very experienced and was able to locate the problem. Also, Jim and Terry really do care that each customer is fully satisfied. Will definitely continue my services here.
My family has been using Autotech II for years. The best shop around. Good quality and honest mechanics. You get an A+++Always a good experience with them.
Had my truck serviced quick and easy fair price well be using there services again
Had to get service work on car.Told to try them out. The service from the moment I arrived was top notch. They explained what would have to be done and around the price. Now you would think it was a big corporate place. But it is not. Its a family owned shop. Told them I would have to wait for service to be done. They said no problem. But if I would like they would give me a ride home. Then pick me up when the service was completed. So would recomend if you need service on your vehicles this is the place to go. Felt that they were up front and honest with their work.
Honest and kind can’t beat them.
They would not honor a warranty on a $471 alternator that was within the 24 month warranty limit. Parts warranty comes from the manufacturer meaning they would not have been charged for the replacement alternator. The manufacturer would have replaced it for them at no charge. They could’ve gotten $231 of labor from me because the labor did expire. If they had honored the parts warranty I would’ve paid them to install it.Total bill for the original job was $775.I was a purchasing manager for 11 years. I know how manufacturing warranties work. They simply didn’t want to do the job.If they decide to honor the warranty I will come back and change my rating.
Great Customer serviceI walked in needing a tire fixed. It was to far gone. Was out of there with a new tire in less than an hour. Definitely in my list of places to go!
Most technically advanced car and truck repair anywhere around. They fix what others cant. Their hourly rate is no higher than and other good repair shop. Go here first and get it done right the first time. They have towing too.
Autotech 2 is the only place I will ever take my truck. They are beyond professional and do every job 100%. this shop knows what its doing and has done nothing but help me since the day I brought my truck in. I appreciate all the help and everything that this shop has done for me and I give them five stars.
I had my ‘12 chrystler van towed here.Problem: my van is regularly maintenance and has never missed a service. Until two days before Christmas I never had any issues. On that day, while driving, a burning smell came from the air conditioner. I turned it off and cracked the windows. Then, it started reving to speed up to only 30mph. Then, all the lights on my dash came on. Thankfully I made it back home. However, it didn’t turn back on after that day until we had it towed by auto tech II.Experience: the tow truck driver was polite and kind when he took the van.The mechanic was polite and kind when telling us that the issue was the alternator and giving us our nearly $1k invoice for the tow and repair.A week after the “repair” the van broke down. Just turned off while I was parking. A few days later it turned off at a stop light and finally a few days later it struggled to turn on.My husband took a day off of work to take it to get seen again. The receptionist insisted there would be a fee to see it again in addition to the cost of the repair, if needed. She was nasty and rude- unprofessional in her “customer service” if it should even be called that. The mechanic called back apologized. Insisted that he did not see anything wrong with the vehicle and told us he just reset it and assured us it should be fine and did not charge us.Two days later I drove it but 5 minutes to the grocer and back. It didn’t turn back on.My husband called again and the receptionist again was so foul my husband countered it with kindness but decided we will take our business elsewhere. We did; turns out it was NOT the alternator. It was something to do with the TPM wiring on chrystler a between 2005 and 2015. Mechanic says it’s very common and fixed it within a few hours and charged us but $600 for the tow and repair.Sadly, although the mechanic tow men were polite and kind I can’t say the mechanic executed the job and I will express again the receptionist should not be in a customer service profession.Look else folks and good luck on getting it fixed quickly, correctly and cost efficiently ELSEWHERE!
Very courteous and thorough. Kept working thru some difficulties always trying to minimize any impact to me or my schedule.
I had a great experience with the guys at Auto Tech 2. They helped me install some wheels and tires that everyone else said wouldnt fit on my truck! 20x10s wrapped in 33x12.5 Mud tires on my 2014 Silverado. They did a great job creating more room in the wheel well with some creative adjustment of my fenders. You cant even tell that some trimming was done because of how good of a job they did! The truck drives like a dream and there is 0 rubbing even at full turn! Quality > low cost any day.
I called this afternoon to get an estimate on work to be done on my Ford F-150 2 hours before they closed. I was asked if I was looking for the cheapest price. Before I could get a reply out, I was told they would not be the cheapest and the customer service man hung up on me. I had been a repeat customer, but no more. Talk about rude. Does not get any worse than this. I would give them zero stars if I could.
Absolutely terrible! Over priced! They didn’t put my engine cover back on when I got an oil change so I had to go back and get that. When I went back I discovered they didn’t top off my fluids and the guy lied to my face about topping them off. I pointed out that my antifreeze was low and he then proceeded to top off my antifreeze with water in front of me. I questioned him as to why water instead of antifreeze and he said “that’s what we do.”
Just moving here and didnt have a shop to go to and this was so close. So decided to go in and have an oil change it was very fast and a good price. My tire light was on they found a nail fix that.
Because I was never there to begin with.
All employees were very nice and understanding
My wife and I were stranded when our car broke down on vacation. After talking to a few repair shops and be told it was too late in the day I called autotech. They where very nice and willing to help even though they were about to close. We had our car towed to their shop they went out of their way to help us. The next morning they had one of there tech go pick up the part we needed and made sure we had transportation. The car was finish by noon the next day. We were a few hours away for work when They called and told me it was ready. I was able to pay over phone. They went out of their way to help us and since I wasnt able to pick up the car immediately they even pulled the car around back and left the keys where I can get them. Really made me feel like they cared about us and the car being sure that it wasnt messed with it until we could pick it up.
Top notch service!! Autotech got me in right away fixed my radiator and got me back on the road.. Thanks guys
****Do Not Go****This place will break things on your car and then say it was your falt but they can fix it for you!!!!!!! Its personally owned and the owner backs up his employees(which is not a bad thing sometimes) and will not do a thing about it.
Rip off artists. Probably the most expensive shop in the area. Not friendly at all either. I love it when I drive by and see no cars in the bays. Apparently others have been ripped off by this company as well. BE WARE.
Wish I had checked the reviews before taking my car to Auto Tech II. I have been there a few times previous and each time felt that no one was listening but my wife liked their thorough chit chat. Each time I was given a laundry list of items over a grand that just had to be fixed. Today I explained that the rear end was wobbling and could they check the rear tires possibly for balance. They found with the simplest of inspections that the rear left tread was seperating and would need to be replaced. They also expressed to me the need to replace my ball joints. For this expression i was charged an additional $47. $47 dollars for the opportunity to sell me ball joints. Enjoy your $47 its the last of my hard earned money you get. Ill take my money to someone who will listen and respect my business. No thanks Jim!
Super fast oil changes...been going here for years now.
They are very friendly and honest. They never try to over sell you on work that may be needed on your car. They do great work.
Good service nice people they care that you shop there
The people there are very knowledgeable they may not be the cheapest but from what I can see they get the job done right the first time.
I needed an inspection on my car for work. The mechanic comes out and tells me the alignment failed and we can do that right now for you for $99. I told him no thanks the alignment fine. He then tries telling if the threads on my tires are uneven I might not feel it (which is correct), but the tires are fine. Get in my car to leave, and its now pulling to the left. Im positive they messed with my car. Avoid this place.
Professional auto repair shop. We were pleased with their service.
If I had read the reviews I probably would not have taken my car here. However, they did a good job of diagnosing the A/C problem and fixing it and it wasnt cheap. But when I called to ask for price on simple oil change, they were $30 more than the dealer! So much for Autotech.
This place REALLY went downhill! Over the Past year they have overcharged us and said they did work that they did not! They also said we needed a ac compressor...it was making a lot of noise..TURNS OUT THEY PUT ON THE WRONG SIZE BELT!We went to Meineke..they put on a smaller belt.. ac runs great and no more noise.Cant trust them anymore! BEWARE!!!!!We go to Meineke now!!!
Great service. Friendly staff.
Took our corvette here to have the clutch material replaced. They called to tell us that the “car was done but won’t go into gear”. Argued with us that they did everything “the correct way” and we’d need to pay them to tear it back down. Eventually they tore it back down (at their expense) to find the Tech installed clutch system wrong, despite the system coming with fool proof step by step instructions on how to install. Resulted in the clutch being damaged. Despite the damage, they attempted to reinstall the damaged clutch. Thankfully we had them document that they installed the clutch wrong, because as soon as we picked it up, the car had a hard time shifting and was shuttering. After again arguing with us and the company who made the clutch (Centerforce) they finally accepted fault, then threatened to unlawfully charge us for “extra time the car was on the rack” the first time they installed the clutch when we asked if they’d help cover a rental car given that they messed up our car (job was already paid for on the specific price both parties agreed to) and inevitably “fixed” it. The corvette is now rattling. Their careless tech managed to damage yet another part on an 80,000 dollar car and refuses to fix it. Sad excuse for a shop.
Good, fast, honest, service, and very knowledgeable personnel. Will recommend this place to anyone that wants there car fixed right.
Fast, fair prices and trustworthy. I highly recommend this repair shop.
Big talk about road force and such. Balancing cost three figures $$$. Instead of wobbling at 45mph, my wheels wobbled at 65. I took it elsewhere to tire royalty, $25 and I was extremely happy. You need balancing, take it to the guys that do it most often and save money and headache.
Very great experience at autotech, very friendly staff. They know how to explain my repairs so I could understand.
Dont ever go to auto tech II. These rip off artists scam my disabled mother every chance they get . They will over charge and suggest unnecessary repairs and do shoddy work. They just ripped her off for $1000 of needless service and her van is in worse shape then when she brought it in. Never go to these dishonest people!! Never !!!
My daughter took her car there to have a pulley changed. The charged her $100 to replace the belts that I had just put on. The belts were brand new that they replaced. Car had ran maybe 15 minutes on the belts. When I called they said they didnt have the belts to show me why they replaced them and when I told them I wanted proof or my money back they hung up on me. They over charge and take advantage of you any way they can. Worthless and dishonest. Stay away
Kind and helpful service.
Absolutely worst auto shop I have ever experienced The level of incompetence goes right to the owner ignorant After a four hour wait I received a bill for $407 and they only replaced one wire to the trailer.I told them that was the problem when I brought it in should’ve been a simple fixBut the old man doing the work was in no hurry to get nothing doneTold me maybe I should get a rental car and come back for it later The clerk Chad at the desk was extremely rude she needs to be taken out back and taught a lesson This place is a huge fraud screwing the public absolutely no common sense I would never recommend this shop.
Great service you can trust
I will not go there again. They figured me to be a dumb blonde and charged me extra for A/C check. I had Freon but they refused to use it and charge me $$$ for theirs. Never again. Dont go there!
Very fast, reasonably priced, great service
Called to get price for full synthetic oil Change/Filter for 2012 Mini Cooper Clubman S. Was quoted $70, which is the going price with no coupons for full synthetic oil change on this model. After they looked at the car (im sure theyve never done an oil change for this model), they came out and stated it would be $135!!!!! I asked Why, and some bumbling bubba stated they had to remove pieces and parts to change the filter...( I found out later, It actually is one bolt on the anti-freeze plastic container...and takes maybe 35 seconds to move out of the way). While waiting I called two mini dealers and they both quoted $70.00. Note that the nearest Mini Dealer is 1.5 hour drive from Ocala, Fl. When I asked the counter guy why he was charging $65 more than a Dealer(??), he said its what ALLDATA said to charge for labor.............When I asked why he didnt tell me the info when I called...he didnt have a response. What a Rip-Off...Never again. Stay away from these con artists.
Thorough, good communication, friendly
Excellent service and quality.
They will rip you off. I told them what the problem was. They charged me $390.00 for replacing a distributor cap and module. Never again will go there.
This place is just a scam. Said $500 for CVT transmission fluid change... Other garages said no there is no reason for that pricing as their price is $150.
Honest and efficient couldnt ask for more
I paid a lot (my mother did) for work and 1 of the things was my AC and its still not working at times. The location is convenient but I know they are overpriced.
Called twice with info and was told they would get back to me that day. So far 1 week later no call. Had to take vehicle to a place that gave me estimate right away.
Still at the top of good sevice
Great and honest people!
BEWHARE!! This place and its employese !! are pure junk, white trash at its finest ! Their only out for them selves ! when you provide service to people, you are supposed to stand behind your work!!
Charged me twice for the same job
