They told me I would be called within 3-5 days to let me know what is wrong with my item and I still haven’t received no call. I needed to call the place on the 6th day and they told me what is wrong with my item and told me there will be two separate prices and it would of been over $1900. Also, I was told in the first day I would get a refund of $65 if there’s nothing they can do or if I don’t want the service but when I asked the lady today about the refund and she said she do not recall that information. Also, there is nobody that can help you carry your heavy item.Also, once you make your $65 payment in the Receipt it says “ to leave a good review comment in their website in able to get a 10% off for next purchases”. So technically, these “good” reviews are just for the discounts and not for the great Service.

Its a great experience. the guy tom is very nice. they figure out a solution and get the job done. hooks up with the best value that he and five star electronics can do. doesnt make you look like a worthless customer. values and understands peoples problems they have with their electronics. there is nothing that cant be fixed.if anything you can rely on five star electronics for outstanding work.

I was having a hard time finding a reputable tv repair shop, but then I found this place online. I wanted to bring in my 86 tv, which is very big and awkward. I had sound, but no picture at all. Called them and asked if they could make arrangements to have someone help me bring in my very large tv. The lady had two guys come outside, and carried the tv in for me. I was told upfront that there was a $65 diagnosis fee, and if I did the repair the $65 would go toward the repair balance, and if not it would go for getting my tv diagnosed. I also was told that time frame for diagnosis would be 3-7 business days. Two days later, I received a call from them, and was told what my tv needed, and what the cost would be. It was very reasonable price to fix it, compared to what a new tv would cost. The tv is now repaired, and working great! I highly recommend them, their service is top notch! Very professional, courteous and they are very honest. Thank you again, Tony.

I found this place online.I was real hesitant about bringing my 55 Samsung TV, as I didnt know if it was worth fixing. After reading their reviews, I decided to bring it here. They were very friendly and honest with answering my questions. I got my TV repaired for a reasonable price, and quick turn a round. I know what part I need to repair my tv, just wanted a quote on install. They refuse to do so, stating you have to bring the unit in and get a $60 diagnosis cause thats just how they do things. Its just too hold you hostage to accepting a ridiculous repair fee or lose out on the original $60.

This place is so legit with the BEST customer service. I had two large led TVs to recycle and they actually came and got them from my truck out of the Dennys parking lot. So nice and helpful. I didnt know this place even existed until now, but moving forward def will be purchasing electronics from them

Very pleased with their service. My computer contracted a virus that required my computer to be scrubbed cleaned and start fresh. They were able to back-up all my work data which would have been a massive loss to my company. The staff was very polite, helpful, and really did a great job. I am very pleased and will go back for future needs.

I brought in my computer that I had no hope of being repaired. Went to geek squad, and they said they couldnt do anything. Brought to five star, they took it in the back and a half hour later it was fixed and all my data was recovered. Their prices were a lot better than anywhere else and the lady at the front was very helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone to use their services.

The first time I went to Five Star Electronics, I brought my laptop here for repairs. The awesome thing about Five Star is the service. The service was professional, courteous, considerate, trustworthy, and to the point. But the most awesome stuff about Five Star is after my laptop was fixed, and when I was about to picked it up, they showed me everything about the problem with my laptop and what the did to it, even showed me the DVD-Rom door worked perfectly. Next time if my laptop, or game system need repairs, First Star Electronics will be the right place for my electronic stuff.

My dad took our 47 vision because it was not picking up channels. I went in to pick it up 2 day later and could not be more satisfied with the service. Explained what had went bad and showed me that everything was working and that it was picking up the channels, and also helped me to load it into my car. I have to start out by saying, they werent able to repair my device. However, the customer experience was outstanding because of the honesty and integrity these guys have.I was charged an upfront fee to take a look at my 30+ yr old amp, but when the tech looked at the age of the parts and realized it was not going to be feasible to fix my money was offered back to me. They even provided some ideas on how I could try to fix it if i really wanted to or where i could send it to for more specialized care.Honesty and integrity speak volumes to me. I will definitely be taking my other repair needs here in the future... you should too

Five stars for Five Star Electronics! We brought our LG smart tv in a few months ago. We were having a problem where we lost our picture but still had sound. They fixed it at a reasonable price and it was like new for our new apartment. A little over a month later the same thing happened. I know some places wouldnt do anything after 30 days but 5 Star took care of us. Great customer service and all around good business. This is the number one place for electronics in south Chicago!

I just got my 42 inch LCD TV back from repair. I had the issue of it turning on then turning right off. SO FRUSTRATING!!! 5 Star gave me a fair price and returned my TV to me quickly! Took in my laptop in to Five Star when it stopped working and they found the problem right away. Turns out I had some water damage and needed a new keyboard. Ended up not having to pay a ton like I assumed I would and now my computer looks good as new. I would recommend anyone to try them out. They also sale TVs and offer cable services as well. Brought in a 46 Samsung TV with a power supply problem that I seriously considered just throwing away. Five Star diagnosed the problem, fixed it quickly and completely, and for about 1/3 of what a comparable replacement set would have cost. 5-Star knocks it out of the park again! Needed new TV installation at home completed and the turn around time was unbelievable. The installation was clean. Wire visibility is at a minimum. Its worth it to have these professionals do the job. You would like to DIY, but then youre worrying about the height, is it level, which mount is best? Tom & Crew know what they are doing.Time and time again their work is consistently at a top level.I will always recommend them.
