Waited in the lobby after checking in for over an hour. I was never told a wait time after checking in. Only after I asked and checked myself did I realize I had another HOUR to wait due to online check ins which for some reason had a higher priority than the customers in the store waiting.

Awful. Been here for years and hits hit or miss…mainly miss. This is the 2/3 of my last visits that have ended up with the stylist not listening at all to what I said about my hair. When I say I want to keep it long, they go and cut it down to what looks like a buzz cut. I’ve even gave them reference photos and they couldn’t even follow that. Each cut they seem to make it shorts and worse than the others. It’s embarrassing. It’s not hard to cut my hair and each time I ask for just a trim, but they consistently never know how to follow directions from the customer. All of this for it to be a waste of $30, what a joke. I guess anybody can cut hair now. This was the final time I plan on going to this place, and I recommend nobody to go here.

Very busy location so would recommend set up appointment online. Ladies do great work and are efficient

Took friend there . Though it is a place for men, they did shampoo friends hair. She was very happy and satisfied. It only cost her $10.00..

Been a customer for 3-4 years here. Several times Ive checked in online, arrived on time, and only to have them take someone else. Today is another one of them. I checked in with a stylist at 0 min wait, arrived 4 minutes later, and they took someone else. How much quicker can you arrive than 4 minutes? Not professional nor following online check in. Will use my remaining prepaid cuts and go somewhere else

I highly recommend Annette when booking! The manager was also very accommodating to an issue I had on my part! Would make a return there next time I’m in town.

I brought 2 kids in with no appt. When I called earlier they said to make an appt or just walk in. When I arrived no one told me how long the wait was, no one spoke to me the entire hour + we waited. People just kept coming in and getting their hair done first. Not one person spoke to me to tell me how much longer the wait was, there was not list or even a timeline or list of people ahead of us when I checked in. Really wish they would have let me know right away they were too busy instead of making us wait.Waited entirely too long and was really disappointed not one stylist could say anything to let me know how long the wait was.

Ive been to a few sports clips and this ones the best. I dont request a stylist and Ive never had a bad cut in 3 years.

My 12 year old son’s hair was cut with a small chunk missing from the front! I didn’t notice because it was damp & to the side immediately after. But the next morning - picture day at school he shows me his uneven haircut!! Like how long have these been cutting hair? It’s a basic boy haircut! Very disappointing

I was checked in online before multiple customers and also had a lower estimated wait time than those who walked into the store. Yet I was still not asked to go back for a haircut before them.

Check in on line, get there promptly at designated time, only to be waiting more time to get preferred stylist. Second time this had happened, one more chance, if happens again take business elsewhere

Always a pleasure to go for a haircuts. They have a new thing online that you can put your name in ahead of time for when you are coming in. Which is nice because then you dont have to wait as long. Even with a group of people in there and you do not have an earlier scheduled appointment, you still usually dont have to wait any more than about a half hour or so. The staff there is very nice very knowledgeable and I always get good haircuts.

This is the second time Ive gone there. The first time I went for my step-son. His haircut was fine, I mean you cant really screw up a crew cut even though the stylist kept second-guessing his choice of haircut. Second time to get my haircut. I waited 45 minutes and just left. Drove to Great Clips it was in and out in less than half the time for Sports Clips. Never going there again. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Great haircuts for all my boys. Sometimes we wait a bit, but we have a favorite stylist. You can make an appt and check in online ahead of time. Not too expensive, totally worth it.

This place is like any other place.... your service depends on the employee rather than the name of the facility. The massage and hot towel are really great and make it worth getting your hair cut here. My stylist Christina was awesome, worked with my unfortunate head and hair growth, great conversationalist, and did a great job cutting my hair. I left there with a positive energy and felt like she truly cared about me and not just passing the time. If you like sports and need a hair cut definitely give them a try. Thanks again Christina..... Ill definitely be back because of you.

I took my son to the Oak Lawn,IL location for his first time at SportClips. Unfortunately, we did not feel welcomed at all. We didn’t even mind the 50 minute wait time because he was so excited to try this new place. When we walked in we were not greeted. I gave the benefit of the doubt because I thought they might just be busy. But the gentleman who walked in right in front of us was greeted and even had a small talk with the employee. Again, it was my first time there. So I stood in front of the register waiting to be instructed or greeted or at least to be given a chance to ask how to check in or at least be asked which of my sons were going to get a hair cut. Nothing happened. Not even eye contact. I figured it out myself and checked my son in. But ended up leaving due to the horrible ambience by the staff. And it must be because we are Hispanic. There were nothing but Caucasian clients coming in and out. All clients before and after us were greeted promptly. This is unacceptable. We went to SuperCuts instead. Sadly my son missed out on this experience due to ignorance. And I will be sure to leave reviews for all other clients regarding this location. I hope this is brought up to their attention. And management. I do also have a large Vlogging base on social media and will be sharing my experience. It’s sad.. missed out on 3 potential clients and large tippers at that. Also submitted this to their contact form online. Please don’t make clients feel unwelcomed.

Pleasant stylists who know their stuff. It can get very crowded - use the app to check in. Its a time saver.

We have been coming here for 3 years to get my 2 boys hair cut. They are 3 and 4 years old and all the girls do a great job with them...were going there tomorrow.

Been going here too long and I shouldve stopped a long time ago. Most haircuts there were missed hairs, but never enough toruin a haircut. Then a stylist started not cutting my hair how I asked so I went to a different one. She was alright for awhile then brought my hairline up higher than I wanted. Had been growing my hair out for over a year.Currently it measures about 8 to 9 inches and instead of a free haircut I was told I could wear my hair to one side grow it out and switch to the other side over time. So basically wait two years to get my hair back. Then most recently my haircut was brought up on one side more than the other. I had not noticed because I was working so much and wearing hats all the time at work(hard hats baseball caps).As a long term customer for about 10years I was told its been 2 weeks so I have to charge you for a haircut and mind you it was only the top but I believe I was charged a full because she questioned why it took me so long to notice(by Beth the manager) . This is not the first issue with Beth, doesnt seem like she cares or wants to be there.I always tip well (one time tipped more than usual and was asked if I had gotten a raise as response instead of thank you). Very unprofessional. Im a creature of habit and most haircuts were fine enough to deal with so I stick it out. I hate finding new stylists because Ive had bad ones before. Also the stylist I saw would mention how she was hungover a lot on the job. Not sure why I kept going back. Ive been getting my hair done at home by my gf who has no training in the area. It ends up being better, shouldve met her sooner ;)This place is a rip off and I wish I couldve came to that realization sooner. About 40$ after vip and tip. What a joke. Well back to searching for a decent place. Last stylist retired and havent found a good one yet. Seen about 6 different stylists at this place. Some better than others.

Here is my experience with this one when I went there first time the lady who cut my hair she was really nice and make perfect cut what kind I want she took time for cut and do it really professional so I was impressed but when I went there second time I didn’t find her and another lady who did my haircut she was really not interested in her duty and I got the worst haircut ever in my life. When I said no to mvp that’s the probably reason for this behavior. I really want to recommend this one but only for that lady who did my hair Cut first time and I give 2 start only for here otherwise I give onle one
