Over priced and rude. Very off putting . They dont listen and then try and talk you in circles when you tell them what s wrong with their work. I wouldnt let this olace work on another car if mine for free.
My family has been bringing their vehicles to Walshs (no relation!) for years, and for good reason. I challenge anyone to find a more professional, knowledgeable, caring family business than this one. They had an easy social distance setup, mask policy signs posted, even though I wasnt expecting ANY at an auto repair shop that reaches about 130 degrees in the hot summer! This is the ONLY shop that has not tried to pull a money grab every time I walk in the door, as a woman by my self. They do not try and add on a bunch of unnecessary items. Honest work at a fair price will keep me coming back for life. Thank you Walshs Service Station! Its no wonder youve been in business almost a hundred years!
Nicole is extremely rude. Beyond unprofessional. Rest of the staff is great and i bought a car from here, but I wont go back anymore because of her.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. They saved my behind twice when I didnt expect them to. Recovered my vehicle from remote locations. Thanks again!!!!
They really reliable and they looked for my son and I. Theyre programmed in my phone for my tows!!
Good honest working people
Brian and Nicole are fantastic. They are utmost professionals from little vehicle issues to the most complex Diesel diagnostic issues. Super people to work with.
Good customer service experience
Car was in a wreck and before i could get any good pictures...they already hooking my car to be towed. After talking to tow driver its was obvious that oak lawn police department is hooked up with WALSH. Good way to keep a business thriving and help the local police department revenue for new police vehicles. Nice doing business with you guys!!!
My car broke down about a half mile from this company in Oaklawn IL. These guys were wonderful. They had my car on a tow bed and into their shop within an half hour. They talked with me about my car and what happened to it. I left it with them seeing how it was after 5:00 pm. The very next morning my car was ready to roll. I couldn’t believe how fast they repaired my car but I was and still am truly grateful!!!
No one was wearing any masks or any precautions with this covid19 going on! But l lets do business!! NO SOCIAL DISTANCING AT THIS DUMP!Make sure you take your life savings with you to get a car back!!!!! Maybe just take it in change cause amounts change minute to minute!!!! Very rude people!!!!!
Good people shows up quickly
Walshs were very helpful today. They towed our tractor/trailer driver to get unstuck from a median that was chock full of ice. Plus they double checked his brakes/lines and saved us a lot of hassle. Thank you Walshs.
Called (4) other tow vendors before Walshs Towing was called by police. (3) could not get to it on that day and (1) other gave a 3 hour ETA for a winch-out/pull up the street. Our semi with a trailer was stuck in the road on a hill. Got a call from the officer on scene stating the unit was going to be pulled by Walshs Towing and the bill would be around $150. The invoiced amount was $150 as promised. Never, in my 15 years experience in Fleet Maintenance, has a tow company NOT taken advantage of the situation. Jay and Nicole are awesome people! Thank you very much from Music City, TN!!
This company saved my day, needed a jumpstart, and they where here to help in a short amount of time. Tow driver was very helpful and nice.
Called walsh’s to get my car towed due to a flat tire. Within 15-20min they arrived and provided me excellent service! Tim, the Walsh employee, provided great customer service! Very happy and will definitely go back if needed!
Horrible people work here charged more then quoted. A man at the front desk Yelled at my wife and daughter when they went to pay. What kind of company let’s there employees yell and woman and children.
I was in a car wreck and Chris came to tow my car. He was very nice, knowledgeable, calm and incredibly helpful during an extremely stressful situation. He even went back into my car and retrieved my steering wheel covered and offered to get my university parking pass off my car. Walsh Towing was wonderful and if I ever needed a tow again I would call them.
Wonderful people and very helpful! Nicole is amazing and went above and beyond to arrange a last minute tow for me this evening! The drivers are very accommodating as well.
Went to Walshs this morning and was met by polite and professional people. Thank you. P.S. an automatic gate opener. The young man that helped me would appreciate that I said that. Thanks again
This company was so helpful and so genuinely nice in helping me. They came out right away, and they were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.
My experience was extremely positive with Walshs Towing .The staff was very polite and helpful! They didnt hesitate when I needed to get items from my vehicle
Terrible I wouldn’t go get to get air in my tire towed my car now it leaking coolant but wasn’t before
I dont understand the bad reviews, because earlier today I needed a jump start to my truck.I called Walsh, they answered, took my information and confirmed that they will take care of it (that they have semi truck service).Jay showed up less than two hours later, he plugged the cables and waited over 30 minutes. We started up the truck and I got going.Good deal from good people. Thanks for the help
The guys here are great. Very nice and patient. My family has been going to them for about 20 years and havent had any issues.
Helpful people
Just speaking on the phone with this man made me wish i Never used this service. Tje police on the scene of my accident called them. Wish theyd have given me a choice on what company because the people here know nothing whatsoever about Customer Service! Never Again!
Great service, great job!
Awesome group of people . Great customer service very professional and very knowledgeable in the towing field and Brian and Nicole run a great shop
Great local business. Very nice people to deal with.
They gave me hard time to get my car back .. they hold the car more than a week to charge me more money.. they was playing to get my car title to avoid paying the toll expenses .. they have card machine inside... but they charge every one cash
I was stranded on the side of the road with my 2 kids, they saw me and towed my car. Sooooo friendly, they even helped me to carry my kids across a busy road. I can’t thank them enough!
Was ripped off by these crooks years ago in a scheme with the no longer standing crooked auto repair business across the street after my vehicle was towed there following an accident in worth. Forced to pay over $1K in storage fees because I could not produce original copy of a towing release document from Worth PD. Complete scam. Lawyer advised that I had little recourse as they were holding my car hostage. Beware.
The most snoby rude little wench in the Office Nicole... she acts illiterate like she cant read documents! Made me feel like she was racist and had poor customer service. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM, DONT LET THEM GET A HOLD OF YOUR CAR! THAY ARE A CRAPPY ESTABLISHMENT
Needed a tow when our car stopped working and the Alsip police called them to come out and tow our car. When they arrived, I turned off my car and handed the tow guy my keys. The key FOB that I handed them was completely intact and in perfect working condition.I came to retrieve my car on Mon. and upon paying for the tow, one of the shop employees handed me my keys. Immediately after looking at them I said, These arent my keys because the entire unlock button was pushed into the FOB and the rubber connecting it was completely detached. It was literally hanging on by a thread. They assured me that those were my keys and the employee stepped out of the door and proceeded to show me that the FOB was working for my car. I stated that I did not hand the tow guy my keys in anywhere near the condition that they are in now. Both employees in the office just stared at me with no explanation. I then proceeded to ask them if they even worked to unlock the car and one of the employees stated that if I had a key hole that I could just use that. Which isnt true because even if I could get into my car with the key, the alarm would still sound until I could press the unlock to deactivate it. They then proceeded to dig out the unlock button thst was jammed into the FOB and gently placed it back in its spot and then it worked and they acted like all was resolved. I then proceeded to explain AGAIN that this isnt how I gave my keys to the tow employee and they AGAIN looked at me like I had 4 heads. They said that they arent the ones who serviced my car and that I would have to talk to Brian. I told them to make sure they let him know that I will be calling him.I called the next day and upon speaking to Brian, I again stated the issue and he began to tell me that this is how he recieved the keys and that they were scratched up and worn of ( which they arent) trying to make it seem like it was my fault and that they were old keys. After not letting it go, he said he would ask the tow guy what he had to say and that he would call me back.I never recieved a call back so I called again today and a receptionist answered and I asked to speak with Brian and she asked why and I told her. She put me on hold and then came back on and told me that he was busy but for her to tell me that the tow guy said he didnt even need to use the unlock button because it was already unlocked when he picked it up. She then told me that there would be nothing they would do for me. Clearly upset, I asked to speak to him directly and she shut me down again saying he wad busy.My husband then called a little later in the day and Brian answered. When Anthony stated why he was calling, Brian cut him off and said that they didnt damage the keys and that they would not be taking this any further. Anthony mentioned the owners name and asked to be put in contact with him and Brian stated, You do know I am the owners son right? Anthony clearly didnt care who he was and asked again to be put in contact with him. Brian took his namr and number but I will not be expecting a call seeing that through all of this even before the key situation, I had to call every time to get information about my car.I am appalled at the customer service of this place and that they could so blatanly disregard our concern for the fact that they seriously damaged our key FOB. A replacement for our car would cost $75. Definitely not a cheap key replacement. I would strongly suggest using someone else for your car repair and towing needs. If you ever have the help of the police and they offer to call, make sure you know who they are calling first. They are contracted out by many local stations. The unlock button is currently being held onto the FOB with tape and doesnt always work if you dont hit it right, so now we will have to swallow the $75 to replace it because Walshs isnt even acknowledging this at all. They didnt even go as far as having enough customer service to say sorry this happened or that this is the situation. Just plain rude and dismissive the ENTIRE time.
I can not THANK YOU enough. ..♥
Pos yard! They towed my truck from 294 by police I got my truck 3hrs later, they have same Chevy as mine now the truck acts like pos wont stay at1rpm, they stole some thing off my truck Shady white boys! And wont fix it! Go to g&L 12700 Pulaski these guys are a joke
Theyre not professional not professionalnot professional and they dont respect people at all theyre not professional and they dont respect people at all
Very ignorant people to deal with. They tell you one price on phone and surprise double never again will i call that place 200$ tow turned in to 850$ for 1 mile
The worst, damage the vehicle along with missing parts. Won’t take any responsibility or return my call. I’m appalled the police department would work with criminals.
Awesome fast friendly service
Very very bad people to trust with your car
They are rude and a rip-off and don’t know how to tow. They shredded the bottom of my car
I just called this place the lady who answered told me that they are in Chicago ridge when I told her where my car was on 83rd and Columbus, which made me think That they didnt service Chicago so I asked, than she goes to say that there would be an extra fee which I didnt mind at all, she said I should call someone else, ok
Horrible!! They were very disrespectful to my parents and made racial slurs against my father. And charged $200 for a few minutes just for a tow release that same day
Overpriced and owner Brian is rude as they get.
